300 I Walk on the Way to the Kingdom

I

I walk on the way to the kingdom, and raise my head to look to God.

Your kindly face is smiling at me, Your gentle words engraved on my mind.

You are so concerned with me, for fear that I may wander destitute in a strange land.

Since my belief in You, I’ve become spiritually strong, thus walking on this way with vigorous strides.

II

I walk on the way to glory, and lower my head to think carefully.

For so many years I went through wind and rain; the hypocritical world broke my heart.

As a stranger, I wandered in a distant land, with no light in my life.

It was You who delivered me from the abyss of misery, so I’m growing up in Your words.

III

I walk beside the golden lampstands, and they illuminate my heart.

Here I’ve found my brothers. You’re my real brothers.

While warring and working hard for the kingdom, you keep me in mind at all times.

It is the practical God who shows mercy upon me and brings me back to His home.

IV

Brothers and sisters, let’s be one mind to accept the practical kingdom exercise,

following God’s footprints to tread the journey of life, together returning to the glorious hometown.

Brothers and sisters, let’s be one mind to accept the practical kingdom exercise,

following God’s footprints to tread the journey of life, together returning to the glorious hometown,

following God’s footprints to tread the journey of life, together returning to the glorious hometown.
