334 You Know My Heart

I

I’m a corrupt man, unworthy to live before You.

I know I’m more in need of, in need of Your deeper salvation.

I see I am not up to what You ask of me

and I am too lacking, so I become sorrowful.

In anxiety, I shed tears secretly: Why can’t I satisfy You?

Your love brings me heartbreak and moves me to a flood of tears.

With You as company in suffering, I do not lose heart or lose hope.

Your love is so real, so great, so beautiful; I enjoy it very much.

I will love You all my life; You know my heart.

I can no longer leave You. I can no longer leave You.

I need to be further purified by You and cast off my corrupt disposition,

that I will live out Your life, live out Your life.

II

Although judgment and chastisement has broken my heart,

I know so much of God’s love, so much of God’s love is hidden within it.

Though I am weak in flesh and have tears,

I’m attached to You, attached to You deep in the heart.

No matter what trial comes to me, I cannot leave You.

Although I am in trials, my heart tastes Your love.

I have enjoyment in loving You, and have joy in praising You.

No matter what trial comes to me, I cannot leave You, I cannot leave You.

III

I’ve given my heart to You, never to seek anything for myself.

My sole comfort lies in that my heart can love You, love You.

Under Your wrathful judgment, I see Your righteousness.

Your judgment and chastisement is my greatest blessing.

It brings me a great salvation and frees me from Satan’s influence.

My enjoyment in refinements is really Your grace.

With You as company in suffering, I do not lose heart or lose hope.

Your love is so real, so great, so beautiful; I enjoy it very much.

Although judgment and chastisement has broken my heart,

I know so much of God’s love is hidden within it.

Though I am weak in flesh and have tears, I’m attached to You deep in the heart.

No matter what trial comes to me, I cannot leave You, I cannot leave You.
