378 O God I Miss You

I

In silence I miss God; reading Your word makes me more remorseful in my heart.

My misty eyes shedding tears, I expect to be with You earlier tomorrow.

I was disobedient and often grieved Your heart; the repeated trespasses are hard to make up for.

Unable to see Your face I’m sorrowful in my heart; day and night I long to see You.

Ah … ah … ah … ah … ah … ah….

In self-reproach I spend days and nights; indebted and uneasy, I shed tears with deep remorse.

How I wish to retrieve the wrongs of yesterday! I expect to see You and pour out my heart to You.

How I wish to retrieve the wrongs of yesterday! I expect to see You and pour out my heart to You.

II

I miss and think of the happy days; Your lovely voice and smiling countenance I often recall.

Cheers and laughter ring in my ears, which I will never forget as long as I live.

The long time torments me, my loneliness and anxiety are unbearable.

I dream that time could go back, and I would accompany You genuinely.

Ah … ah … ah … ah … ah … ah….

Where are You, my beloved? I’m burning with anxiety to see Your face and throw myself into Your bosom.

I will link my heart to Yours and stay with You forever, to compose a love song.
