43 God’s Love Will Be Proclaimed Through All Ages

What is Your lifelong desire, lifelong desire?

For whom do You labor and worry?

You bustle around as time flies, only bearing the work in mind.

Personally coming into the tiger’s den to conquer and save man,

You endure rejection and slander silently.

Judging and chastising man for his transformation,

You never remember his complaint and misunderstanding.

Your word supplies man as the bread of life;

Your earnest admonishment shows a motherly heart.

You accompany man in tribulation and set him an exemplar,

bestowing the truth and bringing him into the light.

You’ve devoted Your all,

devoted Your all through so many stormy years.

Never have You enjoyed any warmth from man,

but You leave love to the world.

To look for Your intimates in the fortress of demons,

You endure humiliations and undergo hardships.

Man is so arrogant and rebellious as to refuse Your salvation;

You guide him step by step with patience and forbearance.

With no place to rest Your head, You still care about man;

You remain selfless and regretless all the time.

At parting, Your earnest exhortations reveals an anxious heart about man;

such love and affection will be proclaimed through all ages.
