153 Christ’s Identity Is God Himself

Verse 1

Since God has come to be in the flesh,

He does His work with that identity,

completes the work He must do while He’s in the flesh.

God as humanity!

Verse 2

Whether it is Christ or it’s the Spirit of God,

both of Them are without doubt God Himself.

He does the work that He should do, the ministry He ought.

No matter how Christ does His work,

He would not ever disobey God.

Chorus

It doesn’t matter how normal Christ’s humanity,

none can deny He has God Himself’s identity.

It doesn’t matter which standpoint He’s speaking from,

or how He chooses to obey the will of God,

He is God Himself, oh, He is God Himself, oh.

Verse 3

No matter what it is Christ asks of humans,

He does not ever ask what man cannot attain.

And everything that He does is that which does God’s will,

and it is all for His management’s sake.

Bridge

Christ’s divine above all of mankind,

He’s the highest authority among them.

This authority is God’s disposition and being,

which determine Christ’s identity.

Chorus

It doesn’t matter how normal Christ’s humanity,

none can deny He has God Himself’s identity.

It doesn’t matter which standpoint He’s speaking from,

or how He chooses to obey the will of God,

He is God Himself, oh, He is God Himself, oh.

It doesn’t matter how normal Christ’s humanity,

none can deny He has God Himself’s identity.

It doesn’t matter which standpoint He’s speaking from,

or how He chooses to obey the will of God,

He is God Himself, oh, He is God Himself, oh,

He is God Himself.
