874 All That God Does for Man Is Sincere
Intro
All God does is practical.
Nothing He does is empty.
Verse 1
God comes among humans
as a regular person.
He won’t do a little then leave,
or speak only a few words.
He comes among humanity
to feel the pain of the world.
Verse 2
He feels this pain in exchange for
a destination for man.
Is this not practical work?
Parents may pay a real price
for the sake of their children,
showing that they are sincere.
Pre-chorus
As God incarnate does this,
He is most sincere
and faithful to mankind.
Chorus
The essence of God is faithful.
He does what He says He’ll do;
whatever He does, He achieves it.
All that God does for man is sincere.
Verse 3
He doesn’t simply say things.
When He says He’ll pay a price,
when He says He’ll take man’s pain
and suffer for them instead,
He comes to live among them
and suffers this pain Himself.
Bridge
Then all things in the universe
will acknowledge that all God does
is right, righteous, and realistic.
This is powerful evidence.
Chorus
The essence of God is faithful.
He does what He says He’ll do;
whatever He does, He achieves it.
All that God does for man is sincere.
Verse 4
Man’s end will be wonderful,
and all of those who remain
will praise God and know His deeds
were done out of love of man.
His good and beautiful essence
shows in His incarnation.
Verse 5
God’s words and deeds are firm and true.
His plans are done practically;
He pays a real price for them.
He doesn’t merely say things.
Thus, God is a righteous God;
God is a faithful God.
Chorus
The essence of God is faithful.
He does what He says He’ll do;
whatever He does, He achieves it.
All that God does for man is sincere.
