927 God’s Authority Is the Heavenly Law That Satan Can’t Overstep
Verse 1
Satan sees the status of God clearly,
truly understands God’s mighty authority,
and the principles behind the use of His power.
It does not dare violate or overlook them,
or do anything to infringe God’s authority,
or in any way challenge His anger.
Pre-chorus
Although it’s evil and arrogant,
Satan’s never dared to push God’s limits.
Chorus
Satan has not ever dared
to transgress God’s authority.
It’s always obeyed God’s commands
and listened to Him carefully.
Satan’s never dared change God’s orders,
nor ever dared to defy them.
God’s set these limits for Satan,
who has never dared to cross them.
Verse 2
For millions of years Satan’s kept to God’s limits,
abided by every command God has given,
never overstepping the mark which God decreed.
Though it’s malicious, Satan is still wiser
than corrupt mankind, for it knows the Creator,
it also knows the scope of its own boundaries.
Pre-chorus
Although it’s evil and arrogant,
Satan’s never dared to push God’s limits.
Chorus
Satan has not ever dared
to transgress God’s authority.
It’s always obeyed God’s commands
and listened to Him carefully.
Satan’s never dared change God’s orders,
nor ever dared to defy them.
God’s set these limits for Satan,
who has never dared to cross them.
Bridge
From Satan’s acts of submission,
it can be seen God’s authority
cannot be transgressed by Satan;
it’s an edict which is heavenly.
Due to God’s oneness and power,
things grow, change in an orderly way,
and mankind can live, multiply
upon the path which God has laid.
No person or thing can break this rule,
nor can anyone change this law,
for they come from the Creator’s hands,
from His authority and order.
Chorus
Satan has not ever dared
to transgress God’s authority.
It’s always obeyed God’s commands
and listened to Him carefully.
Satan’s never dared change God’s orders,
nor ever dared to defy them.
God’s set these limits for Satan,
who has never dared to cross them.
