155 God’s Flesh and the Spirit Are Identical in Essence

Chorus

The flesh God’s Spirit wears is His own.

Just as His Spirit is supreme,

almighty, holy and righteous,

so is the flesh of God Himself.

Verse 1

This flesh can do just what is righteous, benefits man,

what’s holy, glorious and mighty,

not what violates truth, justice, morality,

or what betrays God’s Spirit.

Pre-chorus 1

God’s Spirit is holy, so His flesh can’t be corrupted.

His flesh’s essence is different from that of man.

Chorus

The flesh God’s Spirit wears is His own.

Just as His Spirit is supreme,

almighty, holy and righteous,

so is the flesh of God Himself.

Verse 2

Satan can corrupt man, but never God’s own flesh.

So though man and Christ share the same space,

only man is dominated, used, and trapped by Satan,

while Christ is free from its corruption.

Pre-chorus 2

For Satan can’t ascend to the place of the Most High,

and will never be able to draw near to God.

Chorus

The flesh God’s Spirit wears is His own.

Just as His Spirit is supreme,

almighty, holy and righteous,

so is the flesh of God Himself,

so is the flesh of God Himself.

Pre-chorus 2

For Satan can’t ascend to the place of the Most High,

and will never be able to draw near to God.

Chorus

The flesh God’s Spirit wears is His own.

Just as His Spirit is supreme,

almighty, holy and righteous,

so is the flesh of God Himself,

so is the flesh of God Himself,

so is the flesh of God Himself.
