58 What Can Be Done to Change Man’s Sinful Nature?
Verse 1
Man’s sin could be forgiven by way of the sin offering,
but man cannot stop sinning,
and can’t transform his nature so that it’s no longer sinful.
God’s work of crucifixion gave to man forgiveness,
but man continued living with Satan’s corruption.
Pre-chorus 1
Man must be completely saved
from his satanic disposition,
so his sinful nature may be fully eradicated,
never to come back,
so man’s disposition attains transformation.
Chorus
Man must grasp the way of life, the path of growth,
and the way to change his disposition.
He must act according to this path,
so that this change will slowly happen.
Then he may live in shining light,
and all he does will suit God’s will,
and he’ll cast off his disposition
that’s been made corrupt by Satan.
He’ll break free from Satan’s influence
and emerge fully from sin.
Only then will man become completely saved.
Verse 2
So in this stage of God’s work, the word is what He uses
to reveal corruption in man’s disposition,
so he’ll follow the right path in all of his actions.
This stage has more meaning than what came before it.
It’s also more fruitful—for now it’s the word’s work.
Pre-chorus 2
The word supplies man’s life and renews his disposition.
This work is more thorough.
Thus this incarnation in the last days
completes the meaning of God’s incarnation
and fulfills God’s plan for man’s salvation.
Chorus
Man must grasp the way of life, the path of growth,
and the way to change his disposition.
He must act according to this path,
so that this change will slowly happen.
Then he may live in shining light,
and all he does will suit God’s will,
and he’ll cast off his disposition
that’s been made corrupt by Satan.
He’ll break free from Satan’s influence
and emerge fully from sin.
Only then will man become completely saved,
become completely saved.
