119. The Principles for Discerning Antichrist Demons

1. All antichrist demons are arrogant and conceited, refuse to obey anyone, don’t have a place for God in their heart whatsoever, and never exalt or bear witness to God.

2. All antichrist demons hate the truth, resist the truth, they never know themselves, especially arrogant and self-righteous, and moreover they don’t accept or practice the truth.

3. Antichrist demons only strive for power and profit, always want to deceive, entrap and control people to set up their own independent kingdom, and like to associate with wicked people and evil spirits.

4. All antichrist demons have a deep-rooted hatred for the man used by the Holy Spirit, and adopt all sorts of arguments and slander to attack and condemn as they scheme to replace him.

Relevant Words of God:

Some people particularly idolize Paul: They like to give speeches and work outside. They like to meet together and speak; they like when people listen to them, worship them, surround them. They like to have stature in the minds of others and appreciate when others value their image. What do we discover about a man’s nature from this kind of behavior? Let us analyze his nature: What kind of nature does this type of person with this sort of behavior have? How could it be verbally summarized? Ordinary people cannot see through this but can only view the behavior. What is the relationship between the behavior and the person’s nature? What is his nature? You cannot identify it, can you? If he really behaves in this way, then that is enough to show that he is arrogant and conceited. He does not worship God at all; he seeks high status, and he wants to have authority over others, to possess them, to have stature in their minds. This is a classic image of Satan. What stands out about his nature is arrogance and conceit, unwillingness to worship God, and a desire for the worship of others. Is this not his nature? You can see clearly into his nature from these behaviors.

from “How to Know Man’s Nature” in Records of Christ’s Talks

See, people are all different. Although some people don’t necessarily understand everything that is arranged by the above, they still obey … But some people are different. When they see what the above does, they first deliberate, saying: “You have said this, God, and You have demanded this. I think the first thing is fine, but I don’t think the second thing is very suitable. I will alter it for You.” Do these words show a God-revering heart? Or they have conceptions about the things that God does, and so don’t carry them out in the lower levels. Instead, they talk casually and circulate their conceptions as they please amongst those below, letting those below know that what God does doesn’t conform to man’s conceptions. Then everyone will have conceptions about God. Firstly, they cannot supply the truth; secondly, they circulate conceptions; thirdly, they let everybody know so that they will all oppose God’s way of doing things, they will make God do things a different way and finally make God give in. Some people can do things like this in order to make people have no conceptions, to make God give in, make God do things in a different way and make Him satisfy people. If these people afterward feel remorse and weep tears, can this be accounted as them having a God-revering heart? Some of you are a little too enthusiastic and are ignorant about how to serve God, but you can be spared for this. If you do it again, then it will be considered as having been done knowingly. Then your sins will be great and severe, and it will be a terrible thing. If you regard this matter too simply, that it is just nothing, then there will come a day when you will offend God. I have seen some people like this. It is not necessary to expel them, nor is it necessary to eliminate them, or announce it. Actually, the end that awaits these people is already set

from “What Is Meant by ‘Offending God’” in Records of Christ’s Talks

When you treat God as a person, the God you believe in is a vague God in heaven, you completely deny God become flesh, and in your heart you do not acknowledge the practical God. At this time, you will have become the antichrist, and will have fallen amid the darkness. The more your demands toward God, and the more your reasons, and the more your conceptions about God, the more danger you’ll be in. The more your demands toward God, the greater the proof that you don’t treat God as God at all; you will gradually come to see yourself as God, and ultimately, when you are working in the church, you will bear witness to yourself, and say: “God once did this or that.” Your implication will be that God is inferior to you, that He should be treated with scorn. In your heart there will be no reverence, the tone of your speech will change, your disposition will grow arrogant, and you will gradually end up exalting yourself. This is what happens when people go downhill, and it is entirely caused by not seeking the truth. All of those who go downhill exalt themselves, and bear testimony to themselves, they go around boasting about themselves and self-aggrandizing, and they haven’t taken God to heart at all. Do you have any experience of what I’m saying? Many people blindly bear testimony to themselves: I’ve suffered in this way and that, I’ve done this work and that, God has treated me in this way and that, finally asking me to do such and such, He thinks especially highly of me, now I’m like this and that. They speak in a certain tone, and adopt certain postures; ultimately, some people end up thinking that they are God. When they have gotten to that point, the Holy Spirit will have long since abandoned them. Although, for the meantime, they are ignored, and not expelled, their fate is set, and all they can do is await their punishment.

from “People Make Too Many Demands of God” in Records of Christ’s Talks

If you have believed in God for many years, and yet have never obeyed Him or accepted all of His words, but instead asked God to submit to you and act in accord with your notions, then you are the most rebellious of persons, and you are an unbeliever. How is one such as this able to obey the work and the words of God that do not conform to the notions of man? The most rebellious person is one who intentionally defies and resists God. He is the enemy of God and the antichrist. Such a person constantly bears a hostile attitude toward the new work of God, has never shown the smallest intention of submitting, and has never gladly shown submission or humbled himself. He exalts himself before others and never shows submission to anyone. Before God, he considers himself the most proficient in preaching the word and the most skillful in working on others. He never discards the treasures already in his possession, but treats them as family heirlooms for worship, for preaching about to others, and uses them to lecture those fools who idolize him. There are indeed a certain number of people like this in the church. It can be said that they are “indomitable heroes,” generation after generation sojourning in the house of God. They take preaching the word (doctrine) to be their highest duty. Year after year and generation by generation, they go about vigorously enforcing their “sacred and inviolable” duty. None dare touch them and not a single person dares openly reproach them. They become “kings” in the house of God, running rampant as they tyrannize over others from age to age. This pack of demons seeks to join hands and demolish My work; how can I allow these living devils to exist before My eyes?

from “The Truly Obedient Shall Surely Be Gained by God” in The Word Appears in the Flesh

If those who serve God follow their own character and act according to their own will, then they are in danger of being cast out at any time. Those who apply their many years of experience to serving God in order to win the hearts of others, to lecture them and lord it over them, and to stand on high—and who never repent, never confess their sins, never renounce the benefits of position—these people will fall down before God. They are people of the same type as Paul, presuming upon their seniority and flaunting their qualifications. God will not bring people like this to perfection. This kind of service interferes with the work of God.

from “End Religious Service” in The Word Appears in the Flesh

The Man’s Fellowship:

God’s chosen people must learn to discern the nature and essence of antichrist demons in order to clearly recognize that the enemies of God and God’s chosen people are antichrist-type demons who directly resist God. All those who directly judge God’s work and His incarnation are directly resisting God. All those who judge, slander and hate the man used by the Holy Spirit are directly resisting God. All those who directly resist God are antichrist demons. To discern antichrist demons, one must be able to see through the seven characteristics of the devilish nature of antichrists. This is extremely important to clearly recognizing the true face of antichrist demons. An explanation of the seven characteristics of the devilish nature of antichrists is provided below:

First, all antichrists are arrogant and conceited, refuse to obey anyone, exalt only themselves, stick to their own ways of doing things, have no respect for anyone, have no place at all for God in their hearts, and have no fear of God whatever. There is no person in the churches who can convince antichrists, and there is also no one who can control antichrists. Leaders and workers of all levels of the churches are like enemies to them. For instance, some say: “I only obey God and no one else.” Or they say: “I only obey so-and-so, but I don’t obey anyone else.” And so on. It can be seen from this that such people all have the nature of the devil Satan, which is why it is not a surprise that they can arrogantly boast about themselves, are content with sticking to their ways, and can’t even scarcely wait to testify that they are God’s firstborn sons and His beloved sons. Such wicked people all become authentic antichrist demons once they come into power. Refuse to obey anyone and arrogantly boast about themselves—that’s the first characteristic of the devilish nature of antichrists.

Second, as antichrists have devilish natures that don’t love the truth and even hate the truth, resist the truth, and oppose God, antichrists never take eating and drinking God’s words seriously. They have never genuinely eaten or drunk God’s words, and neither do they accept God’s words and the truth. Accordingly, they don’t have any enlightenment and illumination of the Holy Spirit on God’s words, and moreover don’t genuinely know the truth of their own corruption through God’s words. Hence, all antichrist demons never talk about knowing themselves, let alone dissect and expose themselves, as though they don’t have corruption. They even dare to testify that they are God’s firstborn sons, beloved sons, and that they have been perfected. They are never able to communicate true knowledge of God’s words and the truth, and moreover cannot bear witness to God’s work and what He has and is. All they do is to build themselves up and bear witness to themselves. They really are despicable and shameless to the extreme. This is the second characteristic of the devilish nature of antichrists.

Third, as the devilish natures of antichrists don’t love the truth and even hate the truth, resist the truth and oppose God, one will never see antichrists practice the truth. In fact, antichrist demons never practice the truth, and the main expressions of this are as follows: 1. Never obey God’s judgment, chastisement, trials and refinement; 2. Never obey God’s words and the truth; 3. Never accept the truth; 4. Never accept pruning and being dealt with; 5. Never obey anyone who can communicate and practice the truth, and don’t obey anyone; 6. Always speak from a position higher than others or even in the position of God, always lecture people and are adept at misconstruing God’s words to distort the truth, invert black and white, make false countercharges, wantonly condemn, arbitrarily judge, and often deceive people, judge people, condemn people, frame people, and are full of hate toward God’s chosen people. This therefore verifies that antichrists are never people who can practice the truth. This is the third characteristic of the devilish nature of antichrists.

Fourth, all the actions and behaviors of antichrists are for the sake of fighting for power and profit, and to achieve the goal of controlling God’s chosen people and setting up their own independent kingdom. Antichrists only pursue status and power and extremely worship satanic forces. Status, power and money are antichrists’ idols and the goals they pursue. This is the essence of the nature of antichrists. Thus, antichrists only strive and work hard for status and power. If it does not gain them status and power, they won’t do anything. They will do anything that benefits their fight for status and power. For the sake of seeking status, they won’t hesitate to punish, frame or harm other people in any way. In the eyes of antichrists, having status and power enables them to gain everything, while losing status and power means losing everything. This is completely the manifestation of the essence of the devilish nature of the great red dragon. This is the fourth characteristic of the devilish nature of antichrists.

Fifth, apart from loving the pursuit of power and status, antichrists like to collude with and associate with all wicked people. They like whoever shares the same rotten tastes as them and can serve them; they like and associate with whoever worships and flatters them. All those snared by antichrists are demons and beasts, animals without souls. All antichrist demons never like to associate with honest people who walk the right path and pursue the truth. They never like kind-hearted good people, and they can even twist the truth, invert black and white, claim that wicked people are good people, claim good people are wicked people. They stop at nothing to fix and punish, maliciously slander, and wantonly condemn others, cover up their own theft by accusing another, and commit all manner of evil, creating chaos in churches everywhere. This is even further proof of the devilish nature of antichrists. What all antichrist demons despise the most are people who pursue the truth, uphold principles, and have a sense of justice. What they hate the most are people who can discern them, abhor evil, and possess the truth and humanity. That is why antichrists can persecute, frame and harm good people and oppose leaders and workers of all levels. This is the fifth characteristic of the devilish nature of antichrists.

Sixth, all antichrist demons have a deep-rooted hatred in their heart toward the man used by the Holy Spirit, and they plan to replace him. They are flustered and exasperated and have lost all balance of judgment. When they see the churches practice democratic elections and God’s chosen people start to enter the right track of belief in God, they furiously launch a wild attack, doing their utmost to disturb church elections. In order to deceive God’s chosen people, they spread all kinds of fallacies and heresies, and go so far as to attack, judge and condemn leaders and workers of all levels in God’s house as fake, so that they can sow discord between God’s chosen people and leaders and workers of all levels. For the sake of deceiving and controlling God’s chosen people, they even go so far as to shamelessly make people vote for them and submit to them, and prohibit them from electing those who pursue the truth, genuinely obey God’s work and have entered the reality of the truth to become leaders and workers of any level. This completely makes obvious the ambitions of antichrists to dominate the churches and control God’s chosen people. We can conclude from this that all antichrist demons are especially hateful toward the man used by the Holy Spirit and leaders and workers of all levels in God’s house. This furthermore exposes that antichrist demons are most afraid of the truth reigning in God’s house, and that they are most afraid of people who pursue the truth reigning in God’s house. This is because the day the truth and people who pursue the truth reign in God’s house is the day antichrists will come to an end. Evidently, what antichrist demons hate the most is the man used by the Holy Spirit and all leaders and workers who pursue the truth. This is the sixth characteristic of the devilish nature of antichrists.

Seventh, all antichrist demons never truly repent no matter what crushing defeat or rejection they encounter, and neither will they genuinely self-reflect to know themselves. While some devils may shed tears, these are not tears of repentance but are rather tears of grievance, tears of disobedience, or tears of hate. They are certainly not tears of regret or indebtedness. This is because all people without conscience or reason are devils, and all devils don’t have an ounce of humanity. They are all Satan’s types and absolutely won’t be saved by God. Antichrist demons all have the nature of the devil Satan and are beyond saving, so they will never know themselves and truly repent, and never accept the truth and genuinely obey God. This is the seventh characteristic of the devilish nature of antichrists.

The above seven characteristics of antichrists completely represent the satanic essence and nature of antichrists. All those who possess the seven characteristics of antichrists are authentic Satans and devils. They are all lackeys of Satan reincarnated from devils who absolutely won’t be saved by God. Therefore, God’s house must expel them, and God’s chosen people must curse and reject them.

from “Antichrists Must Be Thoroughly Expelled in Order to Truly Rebel Against and Triumph Over Satan” in Selected Annals of the Work Arrangements of The Church of Almighty God

All those who refuse the guidance of the man used by the Holy Spirit and do otherwise, all those who frequently judge God’s work, speak blasphemies against God and start rumors that disparage and attack the man that the Holy Spirit uses, and all those that receive the work of evil spirits, and have become part of a gang that starts to confuse people are false Christs and antichrists that confuse people. Some people only have a few notions when it comes to God or have a few biases when it comes to the man that the Holy Spirit uses, but they do not have a hostile heart and are able to seek the truth and obey all of God’s work. If this kind of person occasionally says or does something wrong but is able to repent, he or she absolutely must not be treated like an antichrist and be expelled. Those who are true antichrists want to control God’s chosen people and set up an independent kingdom. There are those that do not follow the work arrangements from the above when they do work and instead, do something entirely different or even reject the work arrangements and communications from the above based on the excuse that they are suspicious of whether these arrangements and communications are true or not. They firmly control God’s chosen people in their own hands. They reject the integrated watering, provisions and shepherding of the above. These kinds of people are pure antichrists. This is without a doubt.
