Sermons and Fellowship About God’s Word “It Is Very Important to Understand God’s Disposition” (X)
It Is Very Important to Understand God’s Disposition (Selections)
“Coming to know the substance of God is no trifling matter. You must understand His disposition. In this way, you will, gradually and unknowingly, come to know the substance of God. When you have entered into this knowledge, you will find yourself stepping into a higher and more beautiful state. In the end, you will come to feel ashamed of your hideous soul, and, moreover, will feel that there is nowhere to hide from your shame. At that time, there will be less and less in your conduct to offend the disposition of God, your heart will come closer and closer to that of God, and a love for Him will gradually grow in your heart. This is a sign of mankind entering a beautiful state. But as yet, you have not attained this. As you all rush about for the sake of your destiny, who has any interest in trying to know the substance of God? Should this continue, you will unknowingly transgress against the administrative decrees, for you understand far too little of the disposition of God. So is not what you do now laying down a foundation for your offenses against the disposition of God? That I ask you to understand the disposition of God is not at odds with My work. For if you transgress against the administrative decrees often, who among you will escape punishment? Would My work then not have been entirely in vain? Therefore, I still ask that, in addition to scrutinizing your own conduct, you be cautious in the steps you take. This is the higher demand that I make of you, and I hope that you will all consider it carefully and give it your earnest regard. Should a day come when your actions provoke Me to a towering rage, then the consequences will be yours alone to consider, and there will be no one else to bear the punishment in your place.”
God said, “Coming to know the substance of God is no trifling matter. You must understand His disposition. In this way, you will, gradually and unknowingly, come to know the substance of God.” What mystery do these words reveal? “Coming to know the substance of God is no trifling matter.” What does this sentence mean? What does “no trifling matter” refer to? It means that it is not a simple matter; trifling matters are the simplest things, external things. Coming to know God’s essence is not an external matter and not a simple matter. It could be said that this is the most profound lesson in believing in God and whether people can come to know God’s essence is key to whether they can gain the truth. What does gaining the truth mean? It refers to gaining God. What does this mean? It refers to coming to know God. What does coming to know God mean? It refers to coming to know God’s essence. If you do not know God and God’s essence, can you be classed as gaining God? Can you prove that you have gained God? Can you prove that you have come to know God? Some people say: “I have strong faith and have cast aside everything for God. Can you still say such strong faith is not knowledge of God?” Can your having strong faith represent having knowledge of God? It cannot. But what is undeniable is that when people have true faith, they cannot possibly have no knowledge of God at all; if they simply have no knowledge, then they do not have true faith. All those who have strong faith have some knowledge of God. If someone has strong faith but says that he has no knowledge of God at all, then this is not objective. But can strong faith represent people’s knowledge of God’s essence? It cannot. There are different types of strong faith. There are some people who just believe that “God lives up to His words. If we pray to God, God must listen and answer because God said praying lets you find and obtain. When you pray in the name of the Lord Jesus, no matter what you pray for, God will listen and give you results.” After people have gained some experience in this aspect, they believe that God’s words are trustworthy, that God is really faithful and lives up to His word. But they have no knowledge of God’s disposition, His wisdom, His almightiness, or His work. They only have some knowledge of one aspect of God. Does this count as knowing God’s essence? It does not count. There were some saints in the Age of Grace who could be called people of strong faith. This is a fact. The testimonies they wrote are really telling, but can this represent them knowing God’s disposition? Can it represent them having knowledge of God’s essence? This absolutely cannot. “Coming to know the substance of God is no trifling matter.” Understood?
God continued by saying, “You must understand His disposition. In this way, you will, gradually and unknowingly, come to know the substance of God.” These words reveal a mystery. Some people always ask: “How do we enter into knowledge of God’s essence? Which aspect should we start with? How exactly do we come to know God’s essence?” These words of God answer their question: “You must understand His disposition. In this way, you will, gradually and unknowingly, come to know the substance of God.” Isn’t this the way to come to know God? The most important thing for knowing God is knowing God’s disposition. Some people say: “How is having knowledge of God’s disposition related to having knowledge of God’s work?” These are two different things. The most important thing about having knowledge of God’s work is understanding why God wants to save mankind, what God’s intentions are, how God saves mankind, how many stages of work God has done in total to save mankind, what the significance of each stage is, how God cleanses, saves and perfects people, what extent people need to reach to meet God’s intentions in God’s work of saving mankind in order that mankind and God can enter into rest. The content of these aspects is the truth of the aspect of knowing God’s work. So is knowing God’s disposition the same as knowing God’s work? It is not the same. But there is one undeniable point. In what circumstances is God’s disposition revealed? For what reason has God expressed all the truths? Is it anything to do with God’s work? It is directly and closely related to God’s work. Can you have some understanding of God’s disposition at the same time as having knowledge of God’s work? We all think we can. That is the relationship between the two. So, although having knowledge of God’s work and coming to know God’s disposition are the truths of two aspects, they are also closely related. So why do we gradually come to know God’s essence after we have true knowledge of God’s disposition? Can we gain an insight into this? Is God’s disposition related to God’s essence? They are closely related. How closely? God’s disposition can be said to be God’s essence, or an important part of God’s essence. People ask: “Why do you say so?” So we must probe into this and fellowship. Precisely speaking, what does God’s essence refer to? Does God’s essence only refer to whether He is flesh or Spirit? We all say no. So what aspect does God’s essence refer to? It refers to life. That is, it means what the essence of God’s life is. What represents the essence of God’s life? What is the essence? The essence of God’s life depends on God’s disposition and God’s disposition is the essence of God’s life. When it comes to God’s life, what kind of life is God’s life? This is related to God’s disposition and God’s disposition represents the essence of His life, so whatever kind of life disposition He has is how His essence is.
With regard to coming to know God’s essence, many people feel: “Oh, how should we know God’s essence? It is unachievable.” God spoke these words to us: “You must understand His disposition. In this way, you will, gradually and unknowingly, come to know the substance of God.” This is a good way. So how do we come to know God’s essence? You just continuously seek knowledge of God’s disposition, continuously make an effort and put time and energy into knowing God’s disposition. One day when you really know God’s disposition and you are asked again what God’s essence is and how you have come to know it, you can put forward what you have understood, your views and what you have received about God’s disposition and that will be sufficient to prove that you have had knowledge of God’s essence. Some people say: “I still do not understand. Can you give an example of knowing God’s disposition being knowing God’s essence?” For example, God’s disposition is that when He speaks, it will be done and when He commands, it will stand firm. As soon as God’s words are spoken, God does many things. That which God sets His mind on doing cannot be uncompleted and there is nothing which can stop it from being done. This is God’s disposition. For example, it was predestined that the Lord Jesus would be crucified to accomplish the redemption work. Peter obstructed by saying: “Lord: this shall not be to you.” What did the Lord Jesus say? “Get you behind Me, Satan” (Ref. Mat 16:22-23). Could Peter obstruct this? No one could obstruct this. So many of the Lord Jesus’ disciples wanted to stop Him: “Do not go to Jerusalem; if You go there You will be crucified.” But the Lord was determined to go and could not not go. Praying whilst crying, He still would go. This is a matter that God had set His mind on doing. It must be done that way. What kind of conclusion will people come to when they understand this aspect of God’s disposition? “Oh, God lives up to His word! That which God sets His mind on doing must be completed.” So from this, what do we know about the essence of God? God is almighty, God is wise and God has great power! Is such a conclusion made related to God’s substance? It is. To give another example. Let’s take knowing God’s disposition for example, “Oh, God’s disposition must not be offended!” What does it mean by “must not be offended”? If corrupt mankind wants to interfere with God and obstruct God, God curses and chastises them! Moreover, if a man of Satan’s kind bears witness to God, he is blaspheming God and God does not allow him to bear witness, God does not commend him and will curse him! God says that the witnessing of God by Satan’s ilk has a disgusting taste. Some people will be selected to witness God from the people that God uses, from God’s people. They must have the reality of the truth and they must have been cleansed and they must be those who have knowledge of God. Only such people are eligible to bear witness to God. If you do not pursue the truth, are full of notions about God, unwilling to obey God and are particularly arrogant and self-righteous, then God does not need you to bear witness. If you bear witness to God, you will not be commended. God says that the Satan-types who bear witness to God have a disgusting taste and the Holy Spirit does nothing. So what can be seen from this? Is this a matter of God’s disposition? When we come to know God’s disposition, then we have this kind of knowledge of God. As another example, King David sinned and God was angry with him and punished him. What do we understand about God from this? Even though David was someone who was after God’s heart, he sinned and humiliated God and God did not let him go, and still punished him and gave him two different punishments and let him choose. If he had not made the choice, saying: “I do not want punishment,” God would have dethroned him. What does this mean? It is not permitted to offend and defile God’s disposition! What do we understand about God’s essence from this? God’s holiness. Is knowing God’s disposition related to knowing God’s essence? They are closely related! Everything that God’s disposition reveals is all that God has and is and we understand God’s essence from all that God has and is, so God’s disposition and God’s essence are closely related and cannot be separated! God said, “You must understand His disposition. In this way, you will, gradually and unknowingly, come to know the substance of God.” This is the truth. Once you experience this, then you will see that is the case. Are you now certain about what the way to know the essence of God is?
Let us continue to commune. God said, “When you have entered into this knowledge, you will find yourself stepping into a higher and more beautiful state.” What does this sentence mean? Why is a “higher and more beautiful state” mentioned here? Is this higher and more beautiful state related to life experience and knowledge of God? Previously we often said that whichever stage of life experience one is at is the same stage one’s life and living out of humanity would also be at and that would be the state one has reached. Some people can love people as they love themselves and some people can love God above all. Isn’t this quite a high state? The flesh, emotions, familial affection and the secular are all cast to the wind. They no longer have them. So they are not restrained by anyone or anything when doing their duty. Is the state such people experience not already quite high? Once the state is high, people’s living out and the reality of truth that they live out are also particularly high and not entangled by the secular and the emotions of the flesh. People whose states are too low live all day in the world of emotions and personal interest. When they hear of someone not being good toward them or see someone saying something about them, they feel preoccupied and are extremely restrained and cannot even sleep. Isn’t this too low a state? It is small-minded, isn’t it? When some people see that they are small-minded, they worry about it and feel that they are destined for a lifetime of petty-mindedness and that is their fate. But can their fate be changed? When you understand the truth and gain the truth, then your fate will change naturally. Unbelievers often say “We hold our own fate in our hands.” Is their fate truly held in their own hands? All said it is not. People’s fate is in God’s hands. This is true. However, fate also depends on one’s choices. If you choose the wrong path then you are finished and your fate cannot be changed. Some people become Judas and their fate is destined and they are finished. If you choose to pursue the truth and really want to gain the truth then your fate is different. People’s greatest misfortune is always suffering from illnesses, setbacks and persecution. This is misfortune. If you were now given a house full of silver and gold, would this be a blessing? All said it would not. Some people wallow in money but cannot eat even something good. They are ill and cannot eat good things. They have to eat whole grains and vegetables. They have good clothes which they cannot wear; they feel uncomfortable and do not enjoy wearing them. They cannot even wear a pair of good shoes; they have no energy to walk and do not want to go out. It is all useless.
So what is the greatest blessing in life? If you gain the truth, all suffering disappears. No matter how long you live, you will not suffer from illness and will be happy and healthy. This is being blessed. You will have the presence of God, and you are able to love God, do things to bear witness to God and love God, this makes you feel pleasure and comfort inside. You see, if you do evil things, you will worry about punishment afterward, live in fear all day long and feel the reproach of your conscience. It is different when you do good deeds; afterward you will feel happy inside. When you have a God-loving heart and do something for the love of God, your heart will feel happy and comforted! If you can obey God, choose to obey God, your heart will be comforted though you may suffer a little. If you rebel against God and choose the benefits of the flesh and choose to save your face, then your heart will still suffer. If you follow your heart in your actions, and can carry out the truth and as God intends, your heart will be happy and blessed. Isn’t this the case? In pursuit of the truth, once the truth has been gained and you have the truth as life, is it easy for you to practice the truth? Is it easy to worship God? Once you have gained the truth, then you will love, obey, revere and worship God. That is being truly blessed. Once you have gained the truth, you can live out the most meaningful life and obtain true happiness. Has your fate not changed? What makes fate change? Pursuing the truth can change people’s fate. This word itself is the truth! So what does this truth mean? It means the knowledge of God’s disposition and substance. When people have a true knowledge of God’s disposition and substance, they will find themselves “stepping into a higher and more beautiful state.” Once people step into a higher and more beautiful state, they break away from death, that is, go with God; that is to say, they go with God to the feast together. This prophecy is fulfilled and comes true. You see there are a lot of people who have the truth who can go through spiritual devotion on their own. Whenever they face something, they pray to God, read the words of God to find the answer, and try to figure out God’s words. They keep trying to figure them out, and the more they try to figure them out, the closer they get to God and the more they meet God’s intentions, finally completely touching God’s intentions, and their spirits are released. Is this a higher state? Under what circumstances, upon reaching which state and what kind of result will people step into a higher and more beautiful state? When they truly understand the truth and God’s intentions. When they know God and see God’s beauty, goodness and holiness, they are at once attracted to God in their hearts, have true love, obedience and awe and veneration for God. Then they have already stepped into a higher and more beautiful state. When people’s lives step into a higher and more beautiful state, they become detached from the restraint and bondage of the flesh. When they are humiliated, they do not feel much pain, and when they are attacked or excluded, they do not feel it is such a painful matter. When you ask them: “Why do you not suffer?” “It was arranged by God, to let me learn a lesson! Having God is enough for me. I will gain God’s approval and have God with me. I will be blessed and feel enjoyment in doing so.” Is such stature a high state? It is already a high state and they have moved a step toward a higher and more beautiful state. Matters of the flesh, emotional matters and matters of interest do not trip them up.
Now it can be said that the majority of people in God’s family are small in their stature. When they are asked to do some work, like dancing and singing and making videos then they are happy. “This is called doing one’s duty!” If they are told, “You go clear dog poo. Go and work on the farm and hoe the land,” they say “I will not go! I came to do my duty. I did not come to clear dog poo and farm the land.” What is this problem? What does it mean if people can say these things? Firstly, they are not truly obedient. Secondly, they are not of one mind with God. They make a clear demarcation with God. “I came to do my duty. Don’t make me do other things. Other things have nothing to do with me. It is fine for You to bless me and like me but if You ask me to completely obey You in all that I do then there is no way. What I obey must adhere to my intentions, my ideas and my imagination.” Such people are not truly obedient to God. What state are such people in? The state of selfishness and self-interest. They live in the state where they are directed by the intention of gaining blessing. They do not step forward into a higher state at all and they do not feel in their heart “To love God I can do anything. To gain the truth, I can obey whatever God’s family arranges.” So there are some things that God finds disagreeable when He sees them. He says such people eat the loaves and have their fill and when they are given some benefits, they rack their brains and crowd forward, yet when they are asked to do something, few obey. Such people all eat loaves until they are full and have come to get blessings; they do not want to suffer at all. God is disgusted by such people, does not give them any benefits nor does He want to do anything else for them because these people are not ones in God’s family. They belong to the ilk of the devil Satan, are service-doers. They are not sons, but slaves. So can this kind of person enter the kingdom? They cannot. They are slaves and servants and not people of God’s family. They will not do any of the work arranged by God’s family. If you arrange for them to do something for which they will toil and suffer a little, they will not do it. “You ask me to do this, but this was not what I came for. I came to do my duty. Who do you think you are, asking me to do this?” Such people do not deserve to do service. These people only endure and suffer in God’s family in order to get blessings. They are not considerate of God’s intentions and do not love the truth. They do not love the truth and yet still suffer hardships and show restraint and patience, then are they not time bombs? Can such people truly obey God? They are not obedient to God, so their hearts are against God. People who have not gained the truth will never be of one heart and mind with God. Being of one heart and mind cannot be put on; it can only be because one understands the truth. Only people who understand the truth will be considerate of God’s intentions. If you do not understand the truth, you cannot be considerate of God’s intentions; why can you not be considerate? Some people say, “I will obey, I can learn to be considerate.” The result is that one day when God says something that does not align with your ideas, you will resist again and when God does something that does not align with your ideas, you will clash with Him again. You see, you cannot get along with God. Only by understanding the truth can you be of one heart and mind with God. If you understand the truth, you will have the same points of views about things as God. Only by understanding the truth can you be of one heart with, truly cooperate with and be loyal to God until the end.
Let’s continue with our fellowship of the words of God. “In this way, you will, gradually and unknowingly, come to know the substance of God. When you have entered into this knowledge, you will find yourself stepping into a higher and more beautiful state.” When people find themselves “stepping into a higher and more beautiful state,” what kind of characteristics and reactions confirm that? How does this kind of person react and manifest to show confirmation that they have gained the truth and life and gone forward to a higher and more beautiful state? God tells us as follows: “In the end, you will come to feel ashamed of your hideous soul, and, moreover, will feel that there is nowhere to hide from your shame.” These words of God are really good; what result will people get from pursuing the truth? One day they will see the true state of their soul, the ugly soul, the despicable soul; when they see they are such a person and have such a soul, they will feel ashamed of their hideous soul, so much so that they feel there is nowhere to hide themselves, and they will feel they are not worthy of living in the presence of God, and that they can get into cracks in the ground, saying that “God is too holy, I do not deserve to serve Him! I am an ugly soul, a dirty and corrupt soul and unworthy of entering to the kingdom of heaven!” At this point, they will truly despise and hate themselves. When people enter a higher and more beautiful state, they will feel like this. They will start to despise and hate themselves and feel ashamed of their ugly soul. Only when people feel like this have they truly moved into a higher and more beautiful state. If people do not feel like this and always feel like they are great, very lofty, better than others and that they love God the most, if they do not hate themselves at all and still constantly admire themselves, have such people moved forward to a higher and more beautiful state? They have not moved forward to a higher and more beautiful state and still live in the imagination of the flesh, admiring themselves, without any life at all! This is an old natural demon, Satan that has not changed at all. Such people possess no godliness and no life at all. Can you distinguish them now? What stature and state people will achieve in pursuing the truth is based on the degree to which they know themselves and their real attitude toward themselves. If they start to become bored of themselves and to hate themselves, always feeling that their souls are ugly souls, that they are unworthy of living, are much more low-key and no longer arrogant, conceited and boastful and no longer make a show of themselves, then they have achieved a state, gained life and this is a manifestation of having the reality of life. What state are you in now? Have you entered a higher, more beautiful state? Do you hate yourself or not? What kind of soul do you feel you have? Some people always want to say that they are God and angels. Is this boastful? Is this still arrogant and conceited? How does the devil Satan speak of itself? The devil Satan always wants to say that it is God, doesn’t it? This is a serious offense against God’s disposition. So knowing God’s disposition is key to the pursuit of the truth and the result of the pursuit of the truth is the knowledge of God’s disposition. When people truly know that God’s disposition is holy and righteous and cannot be offended, at that point they will see their own ugly souls and the truth of their corruption and shall start to truly hate themselves. In the past we always talked of betrayal of the flesh and betrayal of oneself but how could we achieve it? If people do not have a true understanding of themselves, then can they really loathe and hate themselves? And if people cannot truly loathe and hate themselves, then can they betray themselves? They cannot and that is how it is.
God wants to save people and to make people understand the truth, enter an even higher state and attain reverence toward God. Now there is a way, right? It is devoting time and energy to knowing God’s disposition, paying the price and one day coming face to face with God, truly seeing that God is holy and God is righteous! As soon as you see that you are utterly corrupt and unworthy of seeing God’s face, you start to feel ashamed of your hideous soul, and you feel there is nowhere to hide yourself. This is a person who truly knows God. You will have such manifestations when you know God. All those who have had this kind of experience know God. For those who have not had this kind of experience, if they say they know God, they have just an understanding of doctrine and not real knowledge. Do you understand? What kind of soul is your inner soul? Is it necessary to see it clearly? Everybody says it is necessary. How well do you have to know yourself to reach the standard? When you gain insight into the essence of your own soul, you will no longer be arrogant and self-righteous and will naturally become humble and low-key. Being humble and low-key is not something that you can just do if you want to. You have to have a true knowledge of yourself, don’t you? If you do not believe it then find an extremely arrogant and self-righteous person and tell him: “Can you make yourself humble and unarrogant?” People with experience will say, “I have tried many times and for many years but I cannot humble myself; this corrupt disposition is like a leopard that cannot change its spots; it cannot be resolved.” Can people be humbled if they do not understand their hideous soul thoroughly? Can they be humbled if they do not truly know themselves? They can never be humbled. Even if you put a large millstone on their head, it won’t work. They may lower their heads, but their arrogant nature is still inside them, isn’t it? That is how it is. How can this corrupt disposition be resolved? Is there a way? You must always pray for this, always read and ponder these words of God. Especially when your corruption is revealed, continuously self-reflect and pray to God. Perhaps the Holy Spirit will do His work one day and persistently enlighten and illuminate you, enabling you to see your own hideous soul, and you will feel ashamed and feel there is nowhere to hide yourself. When that time comes, you will wail bitterly, feel bad and cry every day. Well, this time experiencing God’s work you have met with God face to face and have truly seen God.
If you “come to feel ashamed of your hideous soul” and, moreover, “feel that there is nowhere to hide from your shame,” then at this time, does your heart hold God in awe and veneration? It does. This is the effect of seeing God and your God-revering heart is a result of seeing God. After this happens, how will you be? “At that time, there will be less and less in your conduct to offend the disposition of God.” Does this outcome appear? What is the outcome of God’s work? It is to let you become truly obedient to God, able to revere God, shun evil and never offend God’s disposition. This is the outcome of God’s work. God requires the people of the kingdom of heaven to be able to not offend God’s disposition, to truly listen to the words of God, to obey God’s arrangements and to never complain, nor judge God nor blaspheme, no matter what issues they face that do not match their conceptions. This is the standard for the people of the kingdom of heaven. There are a lot of new believers who are concerned about this. “What exactly is the outcome of God’s judgment of the last days for people? Could it be that we have to understand and live out all the words in this book?” Some people say: “Oh, God uttered so many words in His work. It was to let us take all these words into our hearts and eventually live them out.” How many can achieve this? Is this really God’s meaning? What are God’s intentions? It is as we just communicated. Eventually you will be able to achieve true obedience to God, to obey God’s work, to obey God’s orchestration and plans, to have a God-revering heart and to not offend God’s disposition. This is what God requires of the people of the kingdom. If you reach this level then it is fine. Is there a basis in God’s words for what I communicated? God says: “God has said that the demand of man is a hundred percent, yet the result ultimately achieved will be 0.1%. What is this 0.1%? It is one’s knowledge of one’s own nature. Once man has gotten to know himself, God’s work will be concluded.” But the demands on priests are not limited to this. Standards for priests must be high. Priests must have a true knowledge of God. They must be able to truly bear witness to God and hold God up high. They must accurately communicate the words of God and the truth and resolve problems. These are the demands on priests. As for the previous question, if you think that God has uttered so many words and you must live all of them out, and must understand these truths, and in this way God’s work can be finished, is this not of your notions and imagination?
We just fellowshiped that there is a true condition for entering a higher and more beautiful state. What is that condition? It is “you will come to feel ashamed of your hideous soul, and, moreover, will feel that there is nowhere to hide from your shame.” When you enter a higher and more beautiful state, that is, when you truly know God’s disposition, you will see that your own soul is hideous. When you see your hideous soul, how do you see it? It means one day when you really see that God is too holy and too righteous and this is God’s substance. As soon as you see God’s holiness and righteousness, you will feel that you are ugly, despicable, filthy and corrupt and you will feel that you are so far from meeting God’s demands and that you are unworthy of living in the presence of God. These are the conditions that will occur. At that time, the conditions are such that you will feel ashamed of your hideous soul, so much so that you feel there is nowhere to hide yourself. Now there are a lot of people who do not know what corruption is. You always tell them, “We have been deeply corrupted by Satan.” They only understand doctrine but what is meant by being deeply corrupted? How do you recognize that you are deeply corrupted? Can you recognize your own deep corruption just by relying on a list of facts of corruption? No matter how many facts are listed it is of no use. You cannot recognize your own deep corruption, but can only recognize that “I indeed have these manifestations and corrupt mankind really can do such things.” But after recognizing this fact, can they feel ashamed of their own hideous souls? Can they feel too ashamed to show their face? Neither of these two feelings can be attained. They know themselves by only recognizing some facts, and that is not truly knowing oneself. So what does true knowledge of oneself depend upon? Is it the ability to forcibly dissect oneself based on the facts of one’s own offenses and on God’s words so as to be able to feel ashamed of one’s hideous soul, so much so that you feel there is nowhere to hide yourself? Some people say it cannot be achieved. Under what circumstances and background is it attained? When you see God face to face, there is no one to criticize your corruption and what bad things you have done. There is no need for people to criticize. Once you have seen God you will immediately fall down and know that you are utterly unclean, hideous and evil and unworthy of seeing God’s face! It is like you reveal your naked body in the dark and do not feel ashamed, no matter how many people speak to you, you dare to speak to them and do not feel ashamed of your nakedness, but when a big light suddenly appears and shines on you and everyone sees, you then feel so ashamed that you want to sink into the ground. It is under such circumstances that you feel ashamed to show your face. So what does this situation mean? It is when you are face to face with God and you suddenly see that you are unbearably ugly and suddenly feel that your own soul is a hideous soul. If the soul is so ugly, then no more need be said about the flesh, which is unbearably filthy. You feel like this under these circumstances. Let us think again about Job’s experience. After God finished His remarks, why could Job say these words? “I have heard of you by the hearing of the ear: but now my eye sees you. Why I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes” (Job 42:5-6). As we now say, “I previously only spoke shameless words yet still felt that I knew God best, indulging in loud and empty talk and obeying no one, but now I see that I am good for nothing and that the words I spoke before were just useless words and doctrine.” Did Job have the kind of experience as in these words of God, “… stepping into a higher and more beautiful state. In the end, you will come to feel ashamed of your hideous soul, and, moreover, will feel that there is nowhere to hide from your shame.”? Job had such an experience. Peter also certainly had such an experience. This was not mentioned in God’s words nor was it recorded, but it was also this type of experience, otherwise he could not have been crucified upside down on the cross for Jesus. All those whose life disposition has changed, who are no more arrogant, nor self-righteous and no longer make a show of themselves, to some extent, have such an experience, otherwise they could not have rid themselves of arrogance and self-righteousness. Is this the case? People who believe in God to this state, that is seeing God face to face and then feeling ashamed of their own hideous souls and their utter filthiness, so much so that they are ashamed to show their faces. Once people have this experience and this outcome, they become people who revere God, and immediately start to revere and obey God for they feel that they have no qualification, no conditions and no reason to argue with God! No matter what God does they have no views and feel they are unworthy; no matter how God treats them they have nothing to say, it is as it ought to be. “We are worthless, unbearably filthy and corrupt and yet how do you still want God to lift you up high? You are lifted up high enough. This is lifting the needy from the dunghill, so we are not qualified to make demands of God and should be OK with whatever God’s family asks of us!”
Let us carry on. God said, “At that time, there will be less and less in your conduct to offend the disposition of God, your heart will come closer and closer to that of God, and a love for Him will gradually grow in your heart. This is a sign of mankind entering a beautiful state.” What is “mankind entering a beautiful state” actually describing? Is it not clear now? What would happen after one enters a beautiful state? What kind of heart would develop after that? How does man’s heart grow ever closer to God’s? How does a heart that loves God develop? All these are tied to the understanding of the disposition of God. When you truly understand the disposition of God one day, it would be the day when you see Him face to face. What would happen then? What would happen first is that man feels ashamed of his soul, so much so that he is ashamed to show his face and he would immediately develop a heart that reveres God. Actions that offend God’s disposition will become fewer and fewer when that happens. Your heart will grow ever closer to God’s and you will gradually develop a heart that admires Him. This is producing effects in three areas when a heart that reveres God develops, isn’t it? Having these three positive aspects is then the true state of growth in life and the true stature. It can also be said to be the fruit of experiences in life. These are the three aspects of the fruit of experiences in life: The first, “there will be less and less in your conduct to offend the disposition of God”; the second, “your heart will come closer and closer to that of God”; and the third, “a love for Him will gradually grow in your heart.” These three aspects are “a sign of mankind entering a beautiful state.” Do you have the three aspects? Take a look at yourselves. Do you have increasingly fewer actions that offend the disposition of God? What does “come closer and closer” in the words “your heart will come closer and closer to that of God” refer to? God has a place in your heart and you are inseparable from Him. You would think of God first in whatever you do, “Does it make God happy? Will God commend me if I do it this way? Am I resisting or obeying God in doing so?” It is right that you would think of God first in whatever you do. God has a place in your heart, and this is the manifestation of man’s heart growing ever closer to God’s. Some say, “Will he then be considerate of God’s will?” Would a person not be able to care for God’s will if he always thinks of God in whatever he does and always tries to grasp His will? Would he not be concerned about what concerns God and think about what God thinks about? “[A]nd a love for Him will gradually grow in your heart.” Growing gradually means that a heart that loves God will develop constantly and little by little. You love God increasingly and your heart that loves God grows continually, and this love grows greater and more evident gradually. Eventually, you would not even resist when God rebukes you, and you would have no conceptions when He disciplines you. You love God and do not want to anger or sadden Him. It is all right if you suffer any pain, and you deserve it, but you just do not want to sadden God. God is more important to you than your mother or grandmother. This is a heart of admiration for God!
Now you know what manifestation you should have is “a sign of mankind entering a beautiful state.” What, then, is mankind’s final destination after they have entered a beautiful state? God has surely prepared the best destination for us. Those who enter the beautiful state are surely those who will be in the heavenly kingdom. They are surely those whom God protects when they encounter the great disasters and are those blessed by Him, aren’t they? Those who enter the beautiful state are the people of the heavenly kingdom, those who have received the truth and have life. Those who do not enter the beautiful state are those who are without the truth and do not have life, and are service-doers. “This is a sign of mankind entering a beautiful state.” What path do we see from what God said above? We see a path that leads us to the light. Just pursue the truth and focus on knowing the disposition of God, and you will come face to face with Him without even knowing it. You will have entered a higher and more beautiful state and, finally, achieve the effects required by God. When mankind enters the beautiful state, they can revere God, submit to Him and worship Him. Such a mankind is one that is saved and is eligible to inherit His promises and enter the millennial kingdom.
Let us go on. God says, “But as yet, you have not attained this.” Why does He say we have not attained this? God says that you have not attained this because you do not pursue the truth and do not know the disposition of God, and thus the true manifestations and positive effects are not produced. First of all, you do not feel ashamed of your hideous soul, or feel there is nowhere to hide yourself, and so you have failed to attain. Secondly, your actions that offend God’s disposition do not become fewer and fewer or might have increased instead, and so you have failed to attain. Thirdly, your heart does not grow closer and closer to God’s, and so you have failed to attain. Fourthly, you do not develop a heart that admires God, and you do not have a heart that loves Him, and so, even more, you have failed to attain. Hence, such a person has not entered a higher and more beautiful state, and so God says, “But as yet, you have not attained this.” How does man behave when he has failed to attain? God says, “[Y]ou all rush about for the sake of your destiny.” Some say, “Exhausting oneself toiling and laboring for his destiny, fighting for his own survival and working hard for the happiness of his family is the way of the world. Have we not left everything behind expending ourselves for God now? Aren’t we performing our duties right now? Are we then exhausting ourselves journeying to and fro for our destiny by doing this?” Yes, you have left everything behind now, but have you given your heart to God? Most of you said no. What have you left everything behind for if you have not given your heart to God? You have done so to receive blessings for yourselves. Is receiving blessings for yourselves not exhausting yourselves journeying to and fro for your destiny? See, God’s words fit the reality once you analyze it, don’t they? You have not given your heart to God! Also, you are not expending for the sake of loving God, and even more you are not working hard to carry out God’s will. You are only toiling and journeying to receive blessings for yourselves and to enter the kingdom of heaven. Pertaining to this fact, then, is such a soul not a little ugly and despicable? Paul once said, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: From now on there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness” (2Ti 4:7-8). He felt that he had already qualified. “I have preached the gospel for the Lord most of my life and have suffered a lot of hardships, including being put into prison. I am now qualified to enjoy the crown of righteousness.” He felt this conformed completely to God’s will. Actually, it became clear to us when Paul said that. As it turned out, all that he had done was not out of love for the Lord Jesus, and neither was it for the sake of doing God’s will. He had not submitted to God. If he had truly submitted to God, he should have put it this way, “It is because God made an exception and uplifted me that I was able to expend myself and labor for Him. I am not fit to enjoy God’s grace based on my nature and character. I was once the chief of sinners who resisted the Lord! I had arrested many of the Lord’s disciples. I was against the Lord Jesus and I have judged Him many times. Therefore, I ask for nothing else but to labor and exhaust myself for the Lord’s gospel when He called me to be His apostle. It is good enough as long as I could atone for my sins. I have no other extravagant desires. I am the worst of sinners based on what I have done, and I should have died a hundred deaths and be punished in hell. Therefore, I entrust myself in God’s hands after I die, and I will have no words or complaints no matter how God chooses to deal with me, because God is righteous.” What does it show if he had said that? If Paul had said that, it shows that he still had some sense and self-awareness. It proves that he really knew himself and had seen that his soul was too ugly, despicable and malicious! Thus, when his work was done, he should not have any extravagant desires in his final moments no matter how he had suffered. He could only hate himself for having been blind, leaving nothing but eternal regret! However, Paul did not say that. And so, what do the things that Paul said go to prove? That his soul was ugly and despicable. If our objective for expending ourselves for God is the same as Paul’s, all for the sake of receiving our rewards and entering the kingdom of heaven, is such a soul not one that is ugly? In that case, isn’t what God says very accurate? God says, “As you all rush about for the sake of your destiny, who has any interest in trying to know the substance of God?” See, many people say this, “Ah, we are very busy now and have no time for gatherings. We feel empty inside after having been busy for some time, and have gained nothing. We need gatherings!” What is going on? This is having no thought to know the substance of God and is having no thought to pursue the truth. This is only toiling and running about for their own destiny. They do not know to care for God’s will when performing their duty, and neither do they know to practice the principles of the truth. They know only to work, work, work with enthusiasm. However, it achieves no results after having done so. They are dumbfounded. If they have achieved some results, they will still continue to work, work, work. They just do not have the thought to seek the truth and to know the disposition of God and His substance. What is then the soul of someone who only knows to work constantly but has not entered into life even a little? Is that not an ugly soul? Is that not an empty soul? It’s an empty soul, an ugly soul and a selfish and despicable soul. Many people nowadays leave their families and work behind to expend themselves for God but do not pursue the truth. Are such people then toiling and running about for their own destinies? You all are certain that they are. Why so? It is because they do not pursue the truth. They know only to work and perform their duties but do not care for God’s will at all. They do not give the thought to pursue knowing the substance of God and to grasp His will. They do not care if the performance of their duties yields any fruits, if they bear testimony for God and whether they are actually glorifying or humiliating God. They do everything just to receive blessings for themselves and just so they could perform their duties. They are so selfish and despicable! This is the manifestation and mindset of an ugly and despicable soul.
Below, God says, “Should this continue, you will unknowingly transgress against the administrative decrees.” Should this continue, administrative decrees would unknowingly be transgressed. How does one transgress God’s administrative decrees? As you perform your duties, you interrupt God’s work. As you perform your duties, you humiliate God. As you perform your duties, you seriously betray the truth. Aren’t these all examples of transgressing God’s administrative decrees? Notice how some people do service through performing their duties. Some people carry out God’s will through performing their services. Other people do evil and resist God through performing their duties! All different essences exist. All kinds of people exist. That is why some people are sent back home after they have performed some duties. They were unable to serve adequately because they always resisted God. The way they performed their duties was a disturbance. Some people do not pursue the truth at all as they perform their duties. They never have positive results. They are just service-doers. Some people are suited to handle external matters. It is okay for them to handle external matters. They have a bit of humanity and they are willing to expend for God, but they do not have any truth. When it comes to bearing witness for God, they speak some muddled words and they have no results at all. They do not have any reality of the truth. Do the efforts of these kinds of people count as performing duties of one of God’s creations? They do not count. They do not have principles nor do they have the truth. That is why they do not have results. Their results are minimal. All they can do is handle some external matters, but they are unable to attain the result of bearing witness for God. This is just doing service! That is why their work does not have any value. It does not matter if we have them or not. Having them is just a little bit better, but they do not actually play an important role nor can they bear witness to God. They are unable to achieve the result of bearing witness to God. They stay idle and exert a little effort. Now, if they perform their duties in this way for a long time, wouldn’t it transgress God’s disposition? Some people do evil and disturb as they perform their duties. They become false leaders or antichrists. They do not change despite repeated admonition. They do not accept dealing and pruning. Expel them! These people do many evil things. Their performance of duties is doing evil. Their performance of duties is a scramble for position and benefits. They talk about letters and doctrines to confuse people and they promote those who do not seek the truth, absurd people and evil spirits. Isn’t this doing evil? They give up their family and career to do evil. They are doing evil and resisting God recklessly. It is hugely sinful, right? This is why God’s family expels these kinds of people. Externally, they all have cast aside everything. Why is it that some people perform their duties as one of God’s creations, some people do service and some people do all kinds of evil things for many years? What is the basis for our saying so? The basis is the essence of their doing those things and the consequences that result from doing so. Notice how some people perform their duties but chat idly on the computer and watch all sorts of heinous videos. Some people have romantic relationships over the internet and they always want to connect with the opposite sex. Aren’t they doing corrupt and crooked things? If these behaviors continue for long, wouldn’t they transgress God’s disposition? If they were to continue, God would get angry, “Eliminate them! Drive them back! Don’t keep them!” They would be disposed of with just one word. Now, aren’t these people rushing about and toiling for their own fate? Do they truly expend for God? They do not expend for God. They are opportunistic so that they can be blessed and enter the kingdom of heaven. They are opportunists. They seize this opportunity to achieve their own goals. These people are evildoers who have infiltrated without our knowledge. The evil-doers who have infiltrated God’s family are opportunists.
What is the cause of these matters? “[F]or you understand far too little of the disposition of God. So is not what you do now laying down a foundation for your offenses against the disposition of God? That I ask you to understand the disposition of God is not at odds with My work. For if you transgress against the administrative decrees often, who among you will escape punishment? Would My work then not have been entirely in vain?” That is why, at the same time that God expresses the truth to cleanse and save man, He also reminds and warns man. How does He remind and warn man? Sometimes, He points out a path for you to take. Sometimes, He points out your intentions and adulterations and the dangerous consequences they cause. Here, God says, “That I ask you to understand the disposition of God is not at odds with My work.” God says these things in order to attain one aspect of results. What are the results that God wants us to attain through our understanding of His disposition? Actually, these results are the results that will be attained through God’s work in the very end. If God only expressed the truth but did not point out a path and did not remind and warn man, would man be able to fulfill God’s demands? He would not, because man is numb and dull-witted. In this final age, people are deeply corrupted. Satan’s disposition has taken root deeply within mankind. It would be ineffective if God only expressed the truths and only spoke in the way that He treated Job. It would be quite ineffective. That is why God must directly use words of judgment, chastisement and warning. He must remind us in a very serious tone and point out the path for us. He speaks in such a comprehensive manner so that the results He wants can be attained! What is God’s purpose of doing this? He does not want His work to be fruitless. This being the case, God absolutely must intend His work to come into fruition, achieve results and save a group of people. He will not give up until He achieves His goals. That is why God has done a lot of supplementary work. He has given a lot of reminders and encouragement. He has pointed out the path. God has given a lot of thought to this!
Below, God says, “Therefore, I still ask that, in addition to scrutinizing your own conduct, you be cautious in the steps you take.” If you only scrutinize your own actions and you are not cautious with the steps that you take, it would still be easy for you to make mistakes, right? Some people, regardless of how many mistakes they have made and how many crooked paths they have walked, if you point them out to them, they will admit that they have made some mistakes and they understand the wrong manifestations they exhibit and the wrong actions they take. However, afterward, when they encounter some special circumstances, they will revert back to the old way of doing things. They are not cautious about the steps that they take and they end up repeating the mistakes of the past. Isn’t this the actual situation? Indeed it is. To resolve this issue, God said, “I still ask that, in addition to scrutinizing your own conduct, you be cautious in the steps you take.” How should you seek the truth when you encounter these matters? How should you pray to God? What work should you be doing? Make preparations and guard against repeating the same mistakes. These matters require you to be prepared. If you are not well prepared, you will repeat the same mistakes. Notice the way many people, after you have finished dissecting what is wrong with the way they are doing things, understand your dissection, yet they repeat the same mistakes. When they encounter the same matter, they make the same mistakes, because there is one step missing. You haven’t spoken clearly about how they should be cautious about their own footsteps and which principles they need to put into action when it comes to encountering this matter again. That is why they repeat the same mistakes when they encounter the situation again. Isn’t this the case? You have scrutinized your own actions but you are not cautious with the steps that you take. That is why you repeat the same mistakes. If you are cautious with the steps that you take after you scrutinize your own actions, and you will not make the same mistakes two or three times, you will be after God’s heart. You will have achieved what God said, “This is the higher demand that I make of you.” It is the greatest demand that God has for man. If you can accomplish this, then it is very good. Are God’s demands reasonable? God’s demands are very realistic and they can be achieved by man.
In regard to God’s demands, God said, “[A]nd I hope that you will all consider it carefully and give it your earnest regard.” Presently, we reflect on the mistakes that we tend to make as we fulfill our duties. Some people are prone to abide by the regulations. Regardless of what they do, they abide by the regulations. They believe that abiding by the regulations is the same as putting the truth into practice. They believe it is the same as obeying God’s word. Isn’t this an example of man’s conception? They do not understand the truth and they do not seek the truth. They think, “These things are very simple. Let us just abide by the rules and it should be fine, right?” Just abiding by the rules is no good. You will not get results. There are many of these people. Other people say to them, “When you communicate the truth, do not speak letters and doctrines. Talk about a genuine understanding. Tell us what is in your heart. Even if it is a little shallow, it is reality.” They say, “No, that won’t work. Speaking from the heart is too shallow. Other people will look down on me. If I speak doctrines, other people will think highly of me. Other people will say that these words are better. The average person cannot speak like this. They carry a lot of weight! If your theories are advanced, it means that you are cultured. It means you are knowledgeable and it means you are informed. If you do not speak doctrines, it means that you are not knowledgeable, learned and cultured. Only uncouth people speak from the heart.” Are there people who say this? There are many people who are like this. When I communicate God’s word to you, do I talk about theories or do I speak from my heart? Do I speak in the vernacular or do I use academic language? You all say that I speak from the heart and that I use vernacular language. Now, do you like listening to vernacular language? You all say that you do. Why is vernacular language good? You all feel that it is easy to understand and it is easy to accept. Cultured people only talk about letters and doctrines and use academic language. Isn’t this the case? Can cultured people speak in the vernacular and talk from the heart? You all say that they can. Now, why do they not do so? Are they scared of being humiliated? They are scared that people will look down on them? Some people say that Satan’s disposition causes them to be very arrogant and hypocritical. That is why they are unable to speak from the heart. Does this have anything to do with hideous souls? This is where the root is. It is hideous souls that are causing this trouble. I am not afraid of people looking down on me, judging me and disparaging me. Why am I not afraid? I believe firmly that this is the truth and that this is reality. That is why, regardless of what other people say, it cannot sway my heart. I do not care and I do not pay it any heed. Other people’s notions are useless when they come to me. No matter how other people oppose or convict me, I will not be swayed. Presently, I am fully engrossed with what God has entrusted me with. I am committed to accomplishing what God has entrusted me with. I will properly water God’s chosen people and I will accomplish the work of God’s family. This is number one. This is the most important thing. I am not concerned about anything else. It is not related to me. I am indifferent to everything else. God’s chosen people know how I water and provide for them. God also knows about the results that I attain. That is why it is completely useless for other people to judge what I say. Whatever I must do, I will do it. It is this simple. It is the truth and it is reality. I must walk the path that is in accordance with God’s intentions. I will not be restrained by anyone or anything. No matter how good your academic language is and how eloquent you are, if you do not have the reality of the truth within, can God’s chosen people accept it? God’s chosen people have not come to listen to academic language, much less come to listen to someone talk about theories. They have come to listen to the reality of the truth. They have come to listen to words of real experience. Most importantly, they want to listen to words that come straight from the heart. They want to listen to words of daily life. They want to listen to words that they can understand and words that can attain results. This is what is most important. Isn’t this the case? No matter how advanced your theories are, what good are they? They are all empty words and they are erroneous theories. Even if they listen to them for eight lifetimes, they will not obtain the truth. Moreover, the more they listen to them, the further they are from the truth. Theories and letters and doctrines just harm people, right? These issues of fulfilling duties must be resolved!
Let’s continue reading God’s word, “Should a day come when your actions provoke Me to a towering rage, then the consequences will be yours alone to consider, and there will be no one else to bear the punishment in your place.” What is the meaning of this? If man does not seek the truth and does not focus on understanding the disposition of God, what results can he attain? The closer it gets to the end, the more seriously he will offend God’s disposition. Notice how, today, when you offend God’s disposition, God will give you a warning and that is it. However, in the end, when the day comes that God’s work comes to an end, if you still offend God’s disposition, God will emit His wrath. How is God’s wrath at that time described? “Should a day come when your actions provoke Me to a towering rage….” In other words, when God’s work concludes, if you still haven’t obtained a bit of truth, and the action of offending God’s disposition has become so serious as to provoke God to a towering rage, God would exterminate you. “[T]hen the consequences will be yours alone to consider.” What are the consequences? You will be punished. When God’s work concludes, God will be angry at all those who have believed for years yet have not sought the truth at all. He will eliminate and destroy these people. Understood? Here, this sentence is most clear, “[T]here will be no one else to bear the punishment in your place.” It means you have been convicted. What is the final end of those who sin? It is death. The price of sin is death. “[T]here will be no one else to bear the punishment in your place.” The punishment cannot be escaped! The Lord Jesus will not be nailed onto a cross again for us. The only ending for these people is death. Someone said, “It’s okay to die. To live is to endure hardships.” Is this the case? What does death refer to here? Your spirit, your soul, and your body will be punished. It is not over when your body dies. Your spirit and your soul will also be punished! Right now, there is no way that we can imagine that punishment. The Bible says that in hell, their worm does not die and the fire in not quenched. The fire burns continuously. Is the one burned alive or dead? It is a man’s soul that is burned in hell. He will scream in pain, yet he will not die. The burning is eternal. This is the disaster that one will face in the lake of fire and brimstone. Do you think that once your body dies, it is over? You are thinking of anything good? This is not the case, understood?
God said, “[T]here will be no one else to bear the punishment in your place.” Whoever has sin will face retribution. This is God’s disposition. This is His righteous disposition. All those who have been convicted by God will die. Nobody can be saved from this. Someone said that he believes in Buddhism. This is useless! Someone said, “I believe in Jesus.” It won’t work that you believe in Jesus. The Lord Jesus will not save you. Who is Jesus? Jesus is the Almighty God of today. Jesus’ Spirit has come and He has put on the fleshly body of Almighty God. If you do not believe in Almighty God, Jesus will not acknowledge you. What would you say the result is when the Lord publicly descends on a cloud? Does the Bible mention what the result is? The Bible does mention this. When the Lord descends on a cloud, all the people will weep. What kind of situation is this? All the people weeping confirms that when God publicly appears, it is not in accordance with man’s notions! When those who long for the arrival of Jesus’ spiritual body see this, they will be shocked, “The Lord that has arrived on a cloud is actually Almighty God, whom we have resisted, convicted and forsaken! This time it is bad!” That is why all the people will weep. Who causes you to not accept? It would have been good if you had accepted. Presently, many people exclaim, once they experience Almighty God’s work, “Oh! This is great! If I did not accept Almighty God, I would not be able to have my corrupt dispositions cleansed. I have so many of Satan’s dispositions. How can I be considered a human being? I’m just a living demon! Even if I have no plan to enter the kingdom of heaven, to live out the likeness of a human being, I must accept God’s judgment and chastisement! I am already extremely fortunate to accept Almighty God’s judgment and punishment and live out the likeness of a human being. This is already a great blessing. Why would I still desire to enter the kingdom of heaven? This is just an extravagant thought.” After we have experienced this for a period of time, our humanity is already clearly better than before, right? We are no longer as arrogant and self-righteous, nor are we as crooked and treacherous. We are more low-key and our normal relationships with other people have also improved. We are able to impartially deal with everyone and we no longer do things which are clearly evil. This is what it means to have the likeness of a human being. For the sake of having the likeness of a human being, it is worth accepting God’s work. This is called blessing! If you did not accept Almighty God’s work, would you be able to experience such a big change? Religious people who have believed for many years even say that they love the Lord most, for they are able to cast aside everything and spend for the Lord and they are able to spread the gospel and do the work for God. However, they are filled with satanic dispositions. They are especially arrogant and conceited. They do not accept the truth and they refuse to obey anybody. Isn’t this the image of a demon? This is called the image of a demon. Are they devout people? Do they serve God? They are purely living demons. Someone said, “As living demons, they would do bad things.” If you live out satanic dispositions then you already are a living demon. If you also do demonic things, then isn’t this even more serious? Right? In that case, you would have become an evil demon. You would no longer be a regular living demon. Even though one is filled with satanic dispositions, they still say that they love God, love the Lord most and can enter into the kingdom of heaven. Don’t they have any sense of shame? They are absolutely shameless! That is why, now that we have believed in Almighty God, we have obtained quite a lot, we understand a lot of the truth and we finally have a bit of the likeness of a human being. Isn’t this bearing witness? This is the result that God’s judgment of the last days has achieved on us. These are the initial results. Even better witnessing will come later on.
