It Is Very Important to Understand God’s Disposition (Selections)

I speak with you today not as in ordinary conversation, so it behooves you to approach My words carefully and, moreover, to reflect deeply upon them. What I mean by this is that you have devoted too little effort to the words I have spoken. You are even less willing to ponder the disposition of God; seldom does anyone put effort into it. For this reason I say that your faith is nothing more than grandiloquence. Even now, not a single one of you has dedicated any serious effort to your most vital weakness. You have let Me down after all the pains I have taken for you. No wonder that you have no regard for God and your lives are devoid of truth. How can such people be deemed saints? Heaven’s law will not tolerate such a thing! Since you have so little understanding of this, I have no choice but to expend more breath.

The disposition of God is a subject that seems very abstract to everyone and is, moreover, one that is not easy for anyone to accept, for His disposition is unlike a human being’s personality. God, too, has His own emotions of joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness, but these emotions differ from those of man. God is what He is and He has what He has. All that He expresses and reveals are representations of His substance and of His identity. What He is and what He has, as well as His substance and identity, are things that cannot be replaced by any man. His disposition encompasses His love for mankind, solace of mankind, hatred of mankind, and even more, a thorough understanding of mankind. The personality of man, however, may be optimistic, lively, or unfeeling. The disposition of God is one that belongs to the Ruler of all things and living beings, to the Lord of all creation. His disposition represents honor, power, nobility, greatness, and most of all, supremacy. His disposition is the symbol of authority, the symbol of all that is righteous, the symbol of all that is beautiful and good. More than that, it is a symbol of Him who cannot be[a] overcome or invaded by the darkness and any enemy force, as well as a symbol of Him who cannot be offended (nor will He tolerate being offended)[b] by any created being. His disposition is the symbol of the highest power. No person or persons can or may disturb His work or His disposition. But the personality of man is no more than a mere symbol of the slight superiority of man over beast. Man in and of himself has no authority, no autonomy, and no ability to transcend the self, but is in his substance one who cowers at the mercy of all manner of people, events, and things. The joy of God is due to the existence and emergence of righteousness and light, because of the destruction of darkness and evil. He takes delight in bringing the light and a good life to mankind; His joy is a righteous joy, a symbol of the existence of all that is positive and, even more, a symbol of auspiciousness. The anger of God is due to the harm that the existence and interference of injustice brings upon His mankind, because of the existence of evil and darkness, because of the existence of things that drive out the truth, and even more, because of the existence of things that oppose what is good and beautiful. His anger is a symbol that all things negative no longer exist and, even more than that, it is a symbol of His holiness. His sorrow is due to mankind, for whom He has hopes but who has fallen into darkness, because the work He does on man does not come up to His expectations, and because the mankind He loves cannot all live in the light. He feels sorrow for the innocent mankind, for the honest but ignorant man, and for the man who is good but lacking in his own views. His sorrow is a symbol of His goodness and of His mercy, a symbol of beauty and of kindness. His happiness, of course, comes from defeating His enemies and gaining the good faith of man. More than this, it arises from the expulsion and destruction of all enemy forces, and because mankind receives a good and peaceful life. The happiness of God is unlike the joy of man; rather, it is the feeling of garnering good fruits, a feeling even greater than joy. His happiness is a symbol of mankind breaking free of suffering from this time forth, and a symbol of mankind entering a world of light. The emotions of mankind, on the other hand, all arise for the sake of his own interests, not for righteousness, light, or what is beautiful, and least of all for the grace bestowed by Heaven. The emotions of mankind are selfish and belong to the world of darkness. They do not exist for the sake of the will, much less for the plan of God, and so man and God can never be spoken of in the same breath. God is forever supreme and ever honorable, while man is forever base, forever worthless. This is because God is forever making sacrifices and devoting Himself to mankind; man, however, forever takes and strives only for himself. God is forever taking pains for mankind’s survival, yet man never contributes anything for the sake of the light or for righteousness. Even if man makes an effort for a time, it is so weak that it cannot withstand a single blow, for the effort of man is always for his own sake and not for others. Man is always selfish, while God is forever selfless. God is the source of all that is just, good, and beautiful, while man is he who succeeds to and makes manifest all ugliness and evil. God will never alter His substance of righteousness and beauty, yet man is perfectly capable, at any time and in any situation, of betraying righteousness and straying far from God.

God said, “I speak with you today not as in ordinary conversation, so it behooves you to approach My words carefully.” Here it says, “I speak with you today not as in ordinary conversation.” This means that the conversation in this piece is very important, it is one of the more important pieces of God’s words. Afterward, it says, “[S]o it behooves you to approach My words carefully.” What does “to approach My words carefully” mean? We must ponder this. Doesn’t the word “carefully” denote “cautiously”? Doesn’t it denote “solemnly”? We must approach God’s words both cautiously and solemnly. It will not do if we approach them either solemnly or cautiously. That is, the words in this piece must be viewed as being very important, because it involves whether or not we can be perfected and it involves our outcome and destination. If we attain results in understanding, entering into and practicing this piece of God’s words after we read it, then we will have been perfected, and we will be one after God’s heart. Therefore this piece of God’s words is critical! How should we treat it? Here, God said, “[S]o it behooves you to approach My words carefully and, moreover, to reflect deeply upon them. What I mean by this is that you have devoted too little effort to the words I have spoken.” In the past you did not approach God’s words carefully, so you put little effort into them. If you want to approach them carefully from now on, then you will have to put a lot of effort into them. Therefore, here God said, “… and, moreover, to reflect deeply upon them.” If you attain results through reflecting deeply upon God’s words, you will have devoted enough effort to them. Do you understand? How should you devote effort to God’s words? In a sentence: Reflect deeply upon God’s words. This piece of God’s words is especially important and you should deeply ponder it all the more. The words in the following paragraph directly testify of God’s disposition. At the core of God’s disposition are mainly God’s joy, anger, sorrow and happiness, each of which has a symbolic meaning. If you can experience them thoroughly and truly know God’s disposition, then you will be truly blessed; if you can’t experience them thoroughly and when it comes to them, you feel totally perplexed and have nothing to say, then you will be finished. Even a sentence about God’s joy, anger, sorrow and happiness is enough for us to experience for a lifetime. Everything is connected with God’s joy, anger, sorrow and happiness. In communicating God’s disposition, we need to clarify what God’s joy is, what God’s joy includes, when God feels joy as well as His emotions toward our behaviors and states. Now let’s link them up with reality. For example, if a person falls in the midst of trials and denies God, then what disposition will God express? Will it be joy? Will it be happiness? Will it be sorrow? What will it be? It will be sorrow. Some people have stood firm in their testimony in the midst of trials and they have overcome Satan. What then is the disposition God will express? Is it happiness or joy? It is certainly one of those, right?

Let’s read more of God’s words. “For this reason I say that your faith is nothing more than grandiloquence. Even now, not a single one of you has dedicated any serious effort to your most vital weakness. You have let Me down after all the pains I have taken for you.” “For this reason I say that your faith is nothing more than grandiloquence.” Why did God say this? What is the context that God spoke these words in? Do you know? What is the previous sentence? “You are even less willing to ponder the disposition of God; seldom does anyone put effort into it.” This is the actual context. Directed at such a state of man, God said, “For this reason I say that your faith is nothing more than grandiloquence.” Why did God say this? Because people have believed in God for many years, but don’t know God’s disposition, this is the conclusion God made about their faith. Isn’t this the case? God said, “[Y]our faith is nothing more than grandiloquence.” What does this mean? It means that our faith is not real, and we can merely speak some theories that sound good, and that we have no reality at all. The word “grandiloquence” here means some theories that sound good. When faith in God is mentioned, there are some people who say some grandiose words: “What do we believe in God for? We believe in God because of God’s mercy on us. What is the reason for us believers to receive salvation? God’s grace and God’s pity….” But these people don’t know anything about God’s disposition. How does God look upon this sort of faith? God said, “[Y]our faith is nothing more than grandiloquence.” What does this mean? Is this sort of faith a true faith? It is not a true faith. Is it up to standard? It is not. Does God approve of this sort of faith which is not up to standard? It does not merit God’s approval, it is like a blind man lighting a candle, who is making an effort in vain. As you see, there are many people nowadays who believe in God and meet together regularly, and some of them can fulfill some duties. The best of them are able to forsake their homes, their work as well as their parents and children to expend themselves for God. On the surface, those who are able to give up these things have a great faith, but when they have believed in God to the end, if they still don’t truly know God’s disposition, then won’t that be tragic? Forsaking so many things and expending themselves for God so much without results, blooming so brilliantly without gain, this is tragic. What disposition will God express to such people? Joy, anger, sorrow or happiness? Sorrow, right? If those who have believed in God for many years understand nothing but many spiritual doctrines, talk arrogantly, lecture people, theorize without any reality, mislead God’s chosen people, and set up their personal fiefdoms, then what disposition will God express to such people? It will certainly be anger, great anger. God will send disasters upon them and punish them! Of all the people who believe in God but don’t attain any results, some will ultimately provoke God to anger because they have committed all manner of evil, and some will fall in the wilderness in the end because they have not entered into the reality of the truth. God feels sorrow and pity for these kinds of people. Who is to blame? They only have themselves to blame. God has expressed His words for everyone to read them. Who doesn’t have access to God’s words nowadays? Everyone has God’s words, hymns, sermons and all kinds of movies. All that one needs to eat and drink is available. If you don’t pursue the truth, then who do you have to blame? If you understand the truth but don’t put it into practice, then who is to blame?

Here God said, “Even now, not a single one of you has dedicated any serious effort to your most vital weakness.” What does “your most vital weakness” refer to? Our most vital weakness is our deepest corruption and it is also the root cause of our resistance against God. So how should this weakness be resolved? What is the nature of this weakness? If we can’t see through it and are careless of it, then that will bring trouble for us and we will ultimately provoke God to anger. Just like the children in a family. The adults tell them, “Be diligent in your studies, and I will always support you, even if I have to go without good food and drink, or if I have to toil and labor. You only need to study diligently. However far you go in your studies is how far I will support you.” They promise to be very good, but when studying, they only want to have a good time and always play games, rather than engage in proper study. Finally, graduation day comes but they don’t receive a diploma. The parents placed so much hope in the children, hoping to see some achievements, hoping that each child would be able to get a diploma and find good work, but in the end were disappointed. Would the parents be very upset with their children? Of course they would be very upset. They paid in blood, sweat and tears for their children, but in the end their hopes were completely dashed and amounted to nothing and their investment was all lost. Wouldn’t that make any parent upset? It would break their hearts! God is now working among us and treats us just as He would His own children. If we do not make a good effort, then when God’s work is over, we won’t have anything to show for it, and God will be very angry with us. You can understand that, can’t you? “[N]ot a single one of you has dedicated any serious effort to your most vital weakness.” Do you now understand what it means? Some people experience God’s work for a few years and say, “I have discovered that sometimes when God’s work doesn’t conform to my notions, I still misunderstand God and I become negative even to the point that I complain against God. What kind of issue is this if this trouble remains unresolved even in the end? I will certainly still be a person who disobeys and resists God. I am even capable of betraying God, and in serious cases, where something that doesn’t conform to my notion comes to me, I can even judge and condemn it. Isn’t this courting death? You see, I have just believed in God for a few years, so God puts up with me, forgives me and has mercy on me if I pass judgment on, have notions about, or condemn God’s work or if I am negative and weak when His work does not confirm to my notions. Will God still have mercy on me when His work is finished? God will be angry at me and I will be in trouble.” What do those who pursue the truth think? They think: “In what things am I unable to submit to God? In what things am I able to submit to God? What states affect my submission to God? What corruptions are obstructing me from submitting to God? I can’t absolutely submit to God, so what is the root cause?” They then begin to dedicate effort to their most vital weakness. Some people don’t pursue the truth and are never able to submit to God. The root cause is that they are arrogant, too self-right and are not able to accept the truth. They understand all the truths, but they are unable to put any truth into practice. In addition, their attitude toward God is this, “If what You do conforms to my notions, then I will submit to You and I will even love You. If what You do doesn’t conform to my notions then not only will I not love You, I won’t even be able to submit to You, and I will judge and condemn what You do.” What kind of problem is this? Isn’t this very troublesome? If you have only believed in God for a few years, God won’t be so hard on you. God regards you as a child who doesn’t understand things. But after you have listened to many sermons and believed in God for many years, eight to ten years, God will test you, have you turn in the examination paper, and look at the results. Just at this time, trials will come upon you. If you fall and betray God, His anger will immediately be unleashed on you.

Does it prove that people love God if they have notions about Him and judge Him? It proves that they do not love God. Some people always look at the humanity of God incarnate. When they see that His humanity is ordinary and common, they have notions, thinking, “Is He really God?” If the truth of God’s incarnation has been communicated to them many times but they still have notions and doubts about Christ, this is a real issue. You still don’t know God! Christ has expressed so much truth but you still don’t admit that He is God. You don’t know anything about God. What does the first sentence in the Gospel of John say? “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (Jhn 1:1). As the Word is God, do you even want to see God’s Spirit? When the Word appears in the flesh, isn’t He the practical God? You don’t need to be concerned with Christ’s humanity being so common and ordinary. He is the Word appearing in the flesh. As He has expressed so many words through such a common and ordinary humanity, is He not God appearing to man? If you have notions, then you still don’t understand the truth, right? People always cannot accept that God, the Lord of creation, is clothed in an ordinary flesh. God is the Lord of creation and God has such great love for mankind. He loves us unconditionally and is so tolerant, patient and forgiving. However, when God wears an ordinary flesh, you cannot accept it. Aren’t you being too critical and harsh with God? Why are your demands of God so high and stringent? If people are so mean to God, doesn’t that mean they have no humanity? It is because people haven’t put in effort into pursuing the truth to resolve their greatest disobedience to God and their most vital weakness that they can’t see through the root causes or the substances of these issues and ultimately, they haven’t achieved any results. That is why God said, “You have let Me down after all the pains I have taken for you.” Now how do you understand God’s words “[y]ou have let Me down after all the pains I have taken for you”? Why did God say this? What context did God say this in? What does letting God down after all the pain He has taken for us mean? It means not seeking and pursuing the truth to resolve our most vital weakness and not attaining a transformation in our disposition. This is letting God down after all the pain He has taken for us, it is failing to live up to God’s hope for us and failing God’s expectation of us: Our life remains immature. Aren’t such people rebellious sons? If some people use this sentence in the wrong place, saying, “Letting God down is not forsaking the world, not forsaking the flesh and not putting aside one’s emotions. These are the manifestations of letting God down,” is saying this correct? These things are not considered to be truly letting God down. So what does truly letting God down refer to? It refers to not pursuing the truth, not resolving one’s own vital weaknesses, and not transforming in one’s disposition. These are what truly let God down. According to God, in what things do people fail to live up to God’s will and let God down? People don’t resolve their own vital weaknesses and don’t pursue the truth to be transformed in their disposition. It is based upon these matters that God said that people are letting Him down after all the pains He has taken for them. This is what truly letting God down refers to. Don’t misuse it. Do you understand?

Reading further on in God’s words, “No wonder that you have no regard for God and your lives are devoid of truth.” What does “you have no regard for God and your lives are devoid of truth” refer to? It refers to the fact that people do not know the disposition of God. What has God said about people who don’t truly know His disposition, regardless of how many years they have believed in God? He has said that they have no regard for God and their lives are devoid of truth. You could say that anyone who doesn’t pursue the truth and doesn’t have the slightest knowledge of God’s disposition is a person who has no regard for God and his life is devoid of truth. Below, God says: “How can such people be deemed saints?” In God’s eyes people such as this cannot be deemed saints. They are not worthy to be called saints. Then what kind of person is deemed a saint? What kind of person is worthy to be deemed a saint? People who know God’s disposition and have a heart that reveres God are worthy to be called saints. In the past, I used to think that once you believed in the Lord and prayed then you were saved, and by being saved you were a saint, and as long as you behaved well you were saints. That was my understanding at the time. Now I see that this is just a human notion. How absurd! Now how do I explain what a saint is? Everyone who knows God’s disposition and has a heart that reveres God is worthy to be called a saint. After I say this, some people may say: “Is this based on God’s words?” Is there a basis in God’s words? The basis for this is found in God’s words, “It Is Very Important to Understand God’s Disposition.” If I read them this passage of God’s words, they will say, “Yes, it is completely accurate to explain it this way.” What truths must a person who believes in God possess to have a heart that reveres God? Mainly, if they know God’s disposition then they are able to develop a heart that reveres God, and if they have a heart that reveres God then they are able to become a person who reveres God and shuns evil. Only people who revere God and shun evil are worthy to be called saints. So let us be diligent in feasting upon this piece of God’s words from now on, let us put effort into the truths in it, pray and communicate with God regarding them, and practice and experience God’s words, and one day we will have a heart that reveres God. At that time, we will be able to revere God and shun evil in all things. And then we’ll be saints, right? In general, one will become a saint and have the decency of a saint after 10 years of experience.

God said: “How can such people be deemed saints? Heaven’s law will not tolerate such a thing!” Here it mentions that “Heaven’s law will not tolerate such a thing.” The previous sentence says, “How can such people be deemed saints?” Afterward it says, “Heaven’s law will not tolerate such a thing!” What does this mean? Is this easy to understand? Such people aren’t saints, but you call them saints. This is what Heaven’s law will not tolerate. Isn’t this what it is referring to? Such people are not saints, but they want to be deemed saints and enter into the kingdom of heaven. Isn’t this something Heaven’s law will not tolerate? This is what these words mean. Right now if you, a believer in God, don’t pursue the truth and you don’t have any knowledge of God’s disposition, and basically, you don’t revere God or shun evil, but you want to be deemed a saint and hope to enter the kingdom of heaven, there is no way you can! Heaven’s law will never tolerate such a thing! Isn’t this what it means? So what understanding should you derive from this sentence? It is that if you believe in God, but haven’t attained the knowledge of God, then don’t think you can enter into the kingdom of heaven. Heaven’s law will not tolerate this. What does “Heaven’s law” refer to? It refers to God’s disposition and God’s administrative decrees. Heaven’s law is a common saying that refers to God’s disposition and God’s administrative decrees. The meaning of “Heaven’s law will not tolerate such a thing” is that God will not allow you to pass and will not tolerate you. For example, those pastors and elders in the religious community want to enter into the kingdom of heaven, but isn’t this something that Heaven’s law will not tolerate? God won’t tolerate this, there is no way for them to enter into it, and they shouldn’t even think about it. They condemn and blaspheme against Almighty God’s work in the last days but they still want to enter into the kingdom of heaven. Heaven’s law will not tolerate this! “Defiance means death!” This is the case. “Defiance means death!” The “defiance” refers to these pastors’ conscious and deliberate resistance against God’s work in the last days, which means death. It doesn’t mean that people who are deceived who say some things showing judgment and resistance will die, it is not like that. God looks at people’s substance and hearts, He doesn’t merely look at their outward actions. So why is it that those in the religious community don’t accept God’s work in the last days but want to be raptured into the kingdom of heaven at the return of the Lord? Because they don’t know God or His disposition and don’t understand the administrative decrees. They are simply indulging in wishful thinking. Isn’t this the case? Below, God said, “Since you have so little understanding of this, I have no choice but to expend more breath.” Do you see how much God has said during His work in the last days? Millions of words! God has spoken so many words and expended so much breath, for there’s no alternative. We are too dull-witted and numb, we lack too much and God has to make painstaking efforts for us and expend more breath—speak a lot.

Let’s continue communicating God’s words. “The disposition of God is a subject that seems very abstract to everyone and is, moreover, one that is not easy for anyone to accept, for His disposition is unlike a human being’s personality. God, too, has His own emotions of joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness, but these emotions differ from those of man.” What does “abstract” in “[t]he disposition of God is a subject that seems very abstract to everyone” mean? It means vague, unclear, hard to understand, and hard to grasp. That is what it means. “… and is, moreover, one that is not easy for anyone to accept.” Why is it so hard for people to accept God’s disposition? Do you know the reason? I believe there are several reasons. First, God’s disposition is profound, and it is beyond the reach of man and is intangible and invisible. Second, God’s disposition is also very positive and noble, and so surpasses people’s level of understanding. So people have a hard time accepting it. If you said that a person had a certain temperament, disposition, and strengths, people would easily accept it, but if you talk about what God has and is, and His disposition, people would have a hard time accepting it. This is the second reason. The third reason is that God’s disposition is inherently holy and righteous, and God’s joy, anger, sorrow and happiness represent God’s holiness and righteousness, but people are so deeply corrupt that they do not believe this, they doubt God, they have misconceptions of God, and they are full of their own imaginings. That is why God has said that His disposition is a subject that is not easy for people to accept. Are you able to understand it now? There are these three main reasons why God’s disposition is not easy for people to accept. Then aren’t God’s words real? All of God’s words are true and real and now you can understand. It wouldn’t work without communicating it like this. How would people understand if it wasn’t communicated this way? They would think, “If it is not easily accepted, then this means that the truth is not easy to enter into or understand.” Isn’t this too simplistic? God’s disposition is not easy for people to accept, but why is it difficult? There are these three main reasons. Let’s continue on fellowshiping about God’s words. God said, “… for His disposition is unlike a human being’s personality. God, too, has His own emotions of joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness, but these emotions differ from those of man.” As you see, upon mentioning God’s disposition, God said, “God, too, has His own emotions of joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness.” What does God’s disposition mainly refer to? Specifically speaking, it refers to God’s joy, anger, sorrow and happiness. In general, what is the nature of God’s joy, anger, sorrow and happiness? It is righteousness, love, light and holiness. These refer to the substance. God said that when you know His disposition then you will also know His substance. That is, when you know the joy, anger, sorrow and happiness in God’s disposition, you will also know God’s substance. Based on the characteristics and the symbolic meaning of God’s joy, anger, sorrow and happiness, what is the substance of God’s disposition? It is primarily righteousness as well as holiness, love and light. Is it possible to only use one term to describe it? It is not enough to only use the word “righteousness.” Of course “righteousness” is the right word for it, but God is also holy. But only using “holiness” to describe the substance of His disposition is not enough, either. Don’t forget “love”; it can’t be ignored, neither can “light” be ignored. These words all should be used to describe it, and people will be able to understand it in this context. This is quite complete. God mentioned, “God, too, has His own emotions of joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness, but these emotions differ from those of man.” Once joy, anger, sorrow and happiness are mentioned, some people will think that God’s joy, anger, sorrow and happiness might be a little higher than whatever human joy, anger, sorrow and happiness are. Here, God said, “[T]hese emotions differ from those of man.” What does this mean? It means you can’t understand God’s joy, anger, sorrow and happiness based on human joy, anger, sorrow and happiness. That is what it means.

God said: “God is what He is and He has what He has. All that He expresses and reveals are representations of His substance and of His identity. What He is and what He has, as well as His substance and identity, are things that cannot be replaced by any man.” All that God reveals, and all that God expresses represent His own substance, and what does it mean to represent God’s substance? God’s substance refers to the substance of God’s disposition and God’s life. All of God’s words that are expressed by God as well as all of God’s revelations represent God’s disposition and God’s life substance. God once said, “Every sentence I have spoken contains within it the disposition of God.” But here, God said, “All that He expresses and reveals are representations of His substance.” Therefore, let us contemplate this: What is the relationship between God’s disposition and God’s substance? This is a very deep topic. We can say that God’s disposition represents God’s substance. Accordingly, can we say that God’s disposition is the revelation of God’s life substance? This is also valid. If this is valid, then how should we view the relationship between God’s disposition and God’s substance? God’s disposition is the revelation of God’s life substance, which represents God’s life substance. If people come to know God’s disposition, then they also come to know God’s substance. Therefore, can we say that, to know God’s disposition is to know God? Yes, we can put it this way. Someone might ask: “What does it mean to know God?” Primarily, it means to come to know God’s disposition. Someone might then ask: “God demands that we must come to know His work, to understand the truths regarding the vision within God’s words. So, what is the relationship between knowing God’s work and knowing God’s disposition?” If a person truly knows God’s work, can they also come to know God’s disposition? Everyone says yes. If a person has some knowledge of God’s work, but has no understanding of God’s disposition, does such a person really know God? No, they don’t. What aspect of God must we come to understand to truly know God? Some say God’s disposition. That is correct. Therefore, to know God’s disposition, it means to know God.

The topic of this passage of God’s words that we are reading today is “It Is Very Important to Understand God’s Disposition.” What does this “very important” refer to? “Very important” refers to the fact that if people can know God’s disposition, then they know God. That is, to know God, it is critical to know God’s disposition. Such is the proper understanding. Why does God say that it is very important to understand God’s disposition? Other than the fact that understanding God’s disposition is of great importance to knowing God, what other meaning is in this? What problems of mankind can be solved by understanding God’s disposition? What results can be attained? This is also something that we must understand, isn’t that right? To put it simply, knowing God’s disposition equals knowing God. Of course, there is some distinction between knowing God’s disposition and knowing God’s substance. According to God’s words, if you know God’s disposition then you are very close to understanding God’s substance, and you have at least attained certain results. We cannot say that knowing God’s disposition is to completely know God’s substance, that knowing God’s disposition is to completely know God. It is not appropriate and inaccurate to say this, because the truths here are too profound. We can say that to know God’s disposition is the most profound truth, and that it is the truth that is the most difficult to attain. This passage of God’s words clearly explains the core of God’s disposition. What is the core of God’s disposition? God’s emotions of joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness represent God’s disposition, and they are the core of God’s disposition. We have mentioned some things in the past, such as those people that God likes, those people that God hates, those people that are blessed by God, those people that are despised by God. These all represent God’s disposition. What relationship is there between the truths in these respects and the core of God’s disposition—God’s emotions? They are included in God’s emotions. God’s joy includes the people that God likes, which is part of the details about the highest representation of God’s joy; God’s anger includes those people that God hates, God’s happiness includes those people that are blessed by God.

Let us continue to read these words of God’s, “What He is and what He has, as well as His substance and identity, are things that cannot be replaced by any man.” What does it mean by “cannot be replaced by any man”? It means any one of us created beings cannot replace God. There are some specific details here. For example, can a corrupt person represent God, even if they are being used by God? No. Why can they not represent God? Because of these words, “What He is and what He has, as well as His substance and identity, are things that cannot be replaced by any man.” If a person cannot replace what God has and is, as well as His substance and identity, how can they be qualified to represent God? They are not qualified to represent God—no one from corrupt mankind can represent God. Some might say, “If we pursue the truths and attain perfection, and are able to live out some of what God has and is, as well as some of God’s image, can we then represent God?” No. Remember this well: No human being can represent God, and only the incarnate God is the flesh worn by God, and He is the only One qualified to represent God. Why is the incarnate God able to represent God? Because He is the materialization of God’s Spirit. The substance of the incarnate God is divinity, and He is able to express what God has and is, therefore He is able to perform God’s work through God’s own identity. For example, when you see Christ chatting with people, you may think, “Ah, He is just a person!” When He is just chatting, He is to all appearances an ordinary person. But soon after, when God incarnate begins to work, to express His words, you can see that God’s substance is manifested. When people are chatting with God incarnate, He starts to express God’s substance, to do the work of God. We can try to do the work of God or express God’s substance, but no matter how hard we may try, we will be unable to express anything of it, and we will only be able to express the things of man. Isn’t this a difference between God and man? If you merely see that God incarnate is chatting with people, you would think “This is just a person.” What you see is Christ’s humanity, which is not the substance of God incarnate. The substance of God incarnate enables Christ to do the work of God among man. In the past 20-30 years, Christ has done the work of God when living on the earth like us. Doing the work of God and expressing God’s words are Christ’s job, the mission of God incarnate. So isn’t the substance of God incarnate different from that of man? When God has become flesh and come among mankind, His entire life mission is to do the work of God. As for us, we are to do our part as man, this is our mission; our substance is different from His substance, and that is what determines that our identity is different from His. Do you understand? Some people don’t see this, thinking, “What is the work that Christ does all His life?” God incarnate does the work of judgment of the last days. When Christ has completed His work, the will of God will have been carried out. How about us? We can only do our duties as human beings, and that is enough. Is this not an obvious difference between the incarnate God and man? Some people think that they are knowledgeable and cultured, and they look down on the incarnate God. Is this not being foolish and ignorant? Looking down on God and always having notions of God shows that you are fools! How much value has your life produced? Do you dare compare yourself with God? You can’t stand up to comparison with Him because the difference is so huge! Christ resolves so many issues with a single sentence. You see, I often give sermons. No matter how much I fellowship, when God expresses a piece of words, that piece of His words is worth more than all the sermons I have given. It will exist and have value for thousands of years, and it is worthwhile for mankind to read it for thousands of years. After you read one of my sermons a few times, it will be outdated, for you have experienced all that it says. Man can’t be compared to God! This is the difference between man and God. The incarnate God is qualified to represent God, while none of created mankind is qualified to represent God. Can you see clearly through this matter now? This is the way that we must understand these words of God.

God said: “His disposition encompasses His love for mankind, solace of mankind, hatred of mankind, and even more, a thorough understanding of mankind.” Here it mentions what God’s disposition encompasses. God’s disposition does not only involve one aspect, so what does it encompass? It encompasses 1) His love for mankind, 2) His solace of mankind, 3) His hatred of mankind, and 4) a thorough understanding of mankind. Some people say: “Isn’t there only love in God’s treatment of mankind? Why would He also have hatred of mankind?” “His love for mankind” and “His solace of mankind” are easy to understand, as they conform to people’s notions. People also have no problem understanding “His thorough understanding of mankind.” So what does “His hatred of mankind” refer to? Is this easy to understand? Actually, it is very simple. Because people began to resist God after they were corrupted by Satan, they have been hated by God. What manifestations come from resisting God? First, denying God; second, judging and condemning God; third, dealing with God in a perfunctory manner; fourth, wanting to receive blessings by using God; fifth, refusing to listen to God’s words, submit to God’s work or accept God’s judgment and ultimately becoming an enemy of God. Wouldn’t this kind of disposition be despised by God? It would surely be despised by God, that is, be hated by God. When hatred is mentioned, it means curses are involved, doesn’t it? Didn’t God have hatred toward the Pharisees? God had hatred toward them, so God cursed them. Therefore, if some people don’t accept God’s work, and they even resist God, then these people are hated by God. Since they are deeply corrupt and are in the same category as the devil Satan, God does indeed have hatred for these people. As you see, God has expressed so many truths during His work of the last days, but how many people have accepted them? The majority of people do not heed them and are not interested in them. Many other people resist and condemn God. Isn’t this what mankind is doing? Are people really welcoming God’s coming? No, they are not; their welcoming is fake, they’re only paying lip service. They want to use God in order for Him to rapture them into the kingdom of heaven, to take them to heaven. Is this kind of a welcome a true welcome? No, this is using God! So that’s why God said He has hatred for mankind. That is how you can understand these words.

God then said: “The personality of man, however, may be optimistic, lively, or unfeeling.” When speaking of human personality, God merely gave a simplified summary without adding anything else. What is the meaning of this? It’s that God’s disposition is incomparable to human personality. Therefore, don’t attempt to give an explanation of God’s disposition in terms of human personality. Some people, when they talk about God’s disposition, they think of human personality, they look at the personalities of those people used by God, then they blindly relate them to God’s disposition. This is blaspheming God. Therefore, God provided a simple explanation of human personality here, and its meaning is to remind people and have them understand that they shouldn’t compare God’s disposition to people’s personalities. Don’t blindly relate the personality of someone that you like and worship to God’s disposition, because in doing such a thing you are resisting and blaspheming God. No matter how good a person’s personality is, no matter how fully they possess the principles of the truth, we cannot compare their personality with God’s disposition, because this is blaspheming God.

The passage below is crucial, the words are canonical: “The disposition of God is one that belongs to the Ruler of all things and living beings, to the Lord of all creation.” This sentence concisely explains that only the Lord of all creation possesses the disposition of God. Here, God first briefly talked about His own disposition—what it is, where it comes from, and who has it—so that we may not connect God’s disposition to any of the created. Isn’t that right? Can the disposition possessed by the Lord of all creation be compared with the personality of the created? These two things are vastly different as between heaven and earth. They shall never be compared, and they cannot be compared. God’s house has made a movie called Rapture in Peril, and in it, some people from the religious community said, “God created men in His own image, and if men live out the image of God, then they become God.” Isn’t this ridiculous? And what did the witness fellowship about this issue? “Even if you have lived out some reality of God’s words, some image of God, you still cannot become God. This is because that which you have lived out is a mere drop in the ocean of what God has and is, or of God’s life. So how can you become God?” After watching this movie, God said, “Something is missing here: Even if you have lived out some of God’s image, do you have God’s authority? Do you have God’s power? Can you create the heavens and earth and all things? No, you can’t. There is no need to speak of living out one ten-thousandth of God’s life—even if you were to live out eighty percent of God’s life, it would still be in vain, and you still wouldn’t become God. Because you don’t have God’s authority, you don’t have God’s power, you don’t have God’s substance, therefore you can never become God.” God then said, “This movie is missing these things. The issue has not been communicated clearly. It has only gotten certain things right, and it would be far improved if these words were added.” Can mankind be compared with God? No, we cannot. Many people treat the incarnate God the same as they treat a created being. They even have a low regard for the incarnate God. What is their problem? This issue is serious; on a fundamental level it is an issue of not knowing God, not knowing the incarnate practical God. The incarnate God is ordinary, normal, and insignificant in appearance, but He has God’s substance, and it is very difficult for any person to come to know Him, for the substance of divinity that is hidden inside of Him can never be fathomed by mankind. Only a word spoken by Him can accomplish anything. Isn’t that the case? The incarnate God has only expressed some truths, and their purpose is for the purification and salvation of mankind. If He utters a word to obliterate the heavens and earth and all things, then it shall be done. This is a tremendous thing. If He says a word to destroy mankind, then it will be done for. Such an ordinary person, yet He has the substance of divinity. Can anyone deny this? Since He can express these truths, couldn’t He say a word that would obliterate mankind, obliterate the heavens and earth and all things? It would be so easy for Him. The Lord Jesus said a word to rebuke the wind and the sea, and the wind and the sea calmed down. He raised Lazarus from the dead with just a word, and Lazarus came out of his grave. The body of Lazarus had already been buried in the grave for a few days, and it might be beginning to stink and rot, yet none of that mattered. Because of a word from God, Lazarus was resurrected. God’s words have such authority that they can move the heavens and the earth. Doesn’t this prove that Christ has the substance of divinity? Most certainly, it does. Therefore, Christ is God. We might be taller and bigger than Him, yet we are created human beings, we are worthless and lowly, while the incarnate God possesses God’s honor and glory. Therefore, all those who despise the incarnate God are blind and they don’t know God, all those who have conceptions of the incarnate God are ignorant and without the truth. A word from Him can destroy you. A word of Him can spell your end. How dare you resist and condemn Him? Aren’t you courting death? Isn’t that so? God is merciful and loving, and He does not lower Himself to your level. But if you really anger Him, could anything good happen to you? Just a word expressed by Him will mean the end of you. Don’t you believe it? What do you think happens to anyone God hates? If God says, “This man is a devil, I hate him, I no longer wish to see him,” what will happen then? Can such a man redeem himself? No, he cannot redeem himself. Even if he were to bow down in front of Him a hundred times, it would be futile, because he has already incurred His wrath. If God says that someone is no good, that he is a devil, I shall say “Got it, I’ll expel him.” And I will immediately expel that person. If God hates anyone, I say nothing and I will immediately deal with the person. If someone pleads for a person that God hates, this can easily offend God’s disposition. If God has said so, why do you not believe God’s words, why do you rebel against Him and speak on behalf of the devil, Satan? There is something wrong with you, right? Therefore, in this sort of case we should submit, and we must not plead on Satan’s behalf. If God says that He hates such and such a person, we must expel and remove him, and then God shall be satisfied. God’s disposition is that which is possessed by the Lord of all creation. Is it easy to come to know the disposition that is possessed by the Lord of all creation? It is not easy. Therefore, we must experience God’s work. After we have experienced many things, we will come to know God’s disposition. Such experiences are necessary. We cannot rely on our own imagination. By relying on our meager ability to understand and comprehend God’s words, will we be able to see clearly through God’s mind? Will we be able to understand God’s disposition? Will we be able to achieve such results? Most certainly not. 

What is the disposition possessed by the Lord of all creation? God described it as follows, “His disposition represents honor, power, nobility, greatness, and most of all, supremacy.” These are the five representations, and these five things have profound significance, so we must thoroughly understand each of them. The first thing is, “His disposition represents honor.” Some might ask, “What is honor?” As it is understood according to human conceptions, the person with the highest position or the highest power is the most honorable. If we ask, “What is that person’s rank?” and get the reply: “He’s a high-ranking official,” then we’ll think: “He is very honorable.” Such is people’s understanding of honor. Here, God said “His disposition represents honor,” which means that only God’s disposition can represent honor. Other things are unworthy to be called honorable. They cannot represent honor because true honor is a representation of God’s disposition. Now, do you still think that the official with a high ranking is honorable? Is it right to think so? No. All those officials that belong to Satan, regardless of how high their ranking is and how much power they have, all that they represent is evil, filth, corruption, and negative things. They have no connection with honor. Corrupt humanity does not deserve the word “honor,” isn’t that right? So, then, how did this word “honor” come about? It was to be used to bear witness to God. People have no honor to speak of, so this word should be used to bear witness to the disposition of God. Only God’s disposition deserves the word “honor,” only God’s disposition represents honor, and only God’s disposition is true honor. Beside God’s disposition, what else is honorable? What else can represent honor? Nothing. These words of God’s have clarified the true meaning of honor: Only God’s disposition can be called honorable, only it can represent honor, and nothing else can represent honor. Some might ask: “The president of a nation has unsurpassed prestige, and isn’t he honorable?” Is he honorable? Can he represent honor? If in the moment ago, you said “He is also honorable,” and in the blink of an eye, he is destroyed, would your point of view still be valid? How can an honorable person be destroyed? No matter how highly ranked the negative characters are, they can never represent honor. We may say, “This person has a lot of power,” but we should not say, “He is honorable.” Honor is a positive word, it is a positive thing, and only that which comes from God and belongs to God can be called honorable. If you call those people, things, and powers belonging to Satan honorable, then you are desecrating the word “honor,” and you are resisting God and going against the truth. Do you understand now?

Following on from that, God said that His disposition represents “power.” How did we use to understand the meaning of power? We said that: “This person has power. He has a lot of power, he has a lot of influence, and no one can do anything to harm him. The Communist Party is in great power in China. Anyone who says anything bad against the Communist Party will be obliterated without ever understanding how it happened.” This is our point of view. Yet from the point of view of God, does the Communist Party have any power? What is the Communist Party, from the point of view of God? It is a pile of bones, it is a pile of dirt, it is a pile of filth, it is garbage. It is the dregs of history, it is a bunch of demons and evil spirits, and it is going to be destroyed by God. It has nearly finished performing its service, so God shall destroy it very soon. Do you still think that the Communist Party has any power? Or that it can represent power? It has no power, and only God’s disposition can represent power. If we say that God’s disposition represents power, then how should we understand God’s disposition? God’s disposition has several characteristics, and one of them is honor, supreme honor. Another is power. Power is something that has to do with authority. No one can overcome God’s disposition, no one is above God’s disposition, because God’s disposition determines all things. Once God’s disposition issues forth, it alters all things, and no forces can resist it or hold it back. Isn’t this the truth? So tell me, does God’s disposition represent power? When some people see how rampant the Communist Party is today, and that corrupt mankind is strongly resisting God, they want to see how they all end, to see what shall come of them. If that is the case, then they must first understand God’s disposition: How does God, according to His disposition, view the evil forces of the Communist Party, and other forces of Satan that resist Him? What has He said about them? Through seeking the truth, they find that God has spoken something and made clear prophecies regarding the forces of Satan, and they come to realize: “Oh, this comes from God’s disposition. God’s disposition has been revealed, and He wants to annihilate all of Satan’s evil forces.” And this shall come to pass, for God’s words determine all things, and God’s words can accomplish anything. Based on this fact, isn’t it easy to understand that God’s disposition represents power? Is this not fact? Yes, this is fact and no one can deny it. Just a few words from God, and you wait and see, things shall come to pass. Suppose the president of a nation offends God. When God becomes angry, in no time at all this president will get into trouble, then he will be impeached and driven out of office. Who decides that? God decides it. So does God’s disposition represent the highest authority or not? God is in charge of the universe. If those on a certain planet put up resistance to God, when God gets angry that planet will be destroyed; if a person in power puts up resistance to God, when God gets angry that person will lose their position of power. With one word God can do anything. One word from God and a nation can be destroyed, humankind can be wiped out, a planet can be annihilated, the sun, the moon and the stars can all be replaced. Tell me, don’t God’s words represent power? Doesn’t God’s disposition represent power? Such is the case when we speak the truth. Here we have come to the understanding regarding the second aspect of God’s disposition. First, God’s disposition represents honor, supreme honor; it is a positive thing, it is worthy of love, and it is worthy of praise. God’s disposition is righteousness, majesty, wrath, and judgment; it is also mercy and love. God’s disposition is so wonderful! God’s disposition is honor, God’s disposition is power, God’s disposition is authority. Therefore, all the words revealed by God’s disposition represent authority, and they represent honor.

Here, it says that God’s disposition represents “nobility.” When talking about “nobility,” people often say, “So-and-so is a noble man,” meaning that this person is particularly dignified. “Noble” is something that seems lofty and positive to people, isn’t that the case? The respectable and good things, or the loftiest and the best things that people worship, they call noble. However, in the eyes of God, only God’s disposition can represent nobility, only it can be called noble, and only it can be adored and worshiped by mankind. This is how it should be understood. If the disposition of God represents nobility, what is it that expresses this nobility? First, it is love. God’s love is the noblest, purest, and most sincere. Isn’t this nobility? In addition, there is light within nobility. God is light, without the least bit of darkness. This, too, is the meaning within nobility. This is as much as we can fellowship about God’s disposition representing “nobility.”

Let us now fellowship about God’s disposition representing “greatness.” Look at the things that mankind worships: power, nobility, honor, greatness, and supremacy. These are all things that mankind worships the most, aren’t they? Yet from God’s point of view, these things that mankind worships are mistakenly used. It is a mistake to use these most positive things to describe Satan’s kind, the people, matters, and things that belong to Satan. This is based on human conceptions and imaginings, and it does not fit with the truth. Here, God’s words are very clear: Only God’s disposition represents honor, power, nobility, and greatness. God’s disposition represents greatness. When we speak of His greatness, we mean that it is beyond anyone’s reach. How great is it? It is impossible to describe how great it is. He controls the entire universe. The entire universe functions according to His thoughts. The Milky Way, the Solar System, and other galaxies and planets all move according to His thoughts. So tell me, is God’s disposition the greatest? Those evil forces that belong to Satan also claim themselves to be great, glorious, and correct, but is that really the case? Does it fit with the truth? What happens to those who pretend to greatness, glory, and correctness? They end up as a pile of rotten bones, turn into a pile of garbage, and receive everlasting shame. Satan wants to represent honor, power, nobility, and greatness, but what is the result? Satan is unable to represent those things; it has failed in humiliation. Those types that belong to Satan, don’t they want to pass themselves off as good and lofty people in order to deceive others? We now see that only God’s disposition is worthy of representing honor, power, nobility, and greatness. How do we explain “greatness”? It’s something that people are unable to reach, it’s something highly worshiped by mankind, the loftiest thing. God’s disposition represents greatness, which means that no one can deny, prevent, suppress, or restrict it. This is why it is true greatness. God’s disposition represents honor, power, nobility, and greatness; who can deny that? Even Satan cannot deny that, and there is nothing that anyone can say to deny it. Everyone can do nothing but shut their mouths, nod their heads and show complete conviction, for this is the truth. This is also fact.

We shall now fellowship about God’s words that follow: “His disposition represents … most of all, supremacy.” What does “supremacy” mean? God’s disposition represents supremacy, which means that God’s disposition is supreme. The results that His disposition achieves, the authority that His disposition represents, and the power and status that His disposition demonstrates in people’s hearts, no one can surpass, overcome, or deny. This is supremacy. When we talk about supremacy, it is not only the case that created mankind shall never achieve supremacy, but those non-created beings shall also never achieve supremacy. Can the angels attain supremacy? No, they cannot attain supremacy. What are angels in the eyes of God? Mankind praises the power of angles, yet, in the eyes of God, they have no power, nor do they have authority. So, even those non-created beings will never achieve supremacy. Only God represents supremacy, only God’s disposition represents supremacy. What do the aliens represent? Mankind cannot surpass them in technology because theirs is far too advanced. Mankind’s sciences have only been developing for over two hundred years, yet how many millennia have the alien sciences been developing? There is no way to know, but it must be hundreds of thousands of years or millions of years at the very least. Their technology is very advanced, to a level that cannot be fathomed by mankind. Look at how big the aliens’ spaceships are. Some of them are even larger than Earth and pass around the sun without being incinerated. Alien sciences are far more advanced than the sciences of mankind. But can the aliens’ power surpass God’s authority? No, it can’t surpass God’s authority, because only God’s disposition is supreme, only it represents supremacy. Do you understand now?

This passage is crucial! We have finished talking about the five things that God’s disposition represents, so below we will fellowship about the six things that God’s disposition symbolizes. God has said, “His disposition is the symbol of authority, the symbol of all that is righteous, the symbol of all that is beautiful and good. More than that, it is a symbol of Him who cannot be[a] overcome or invaded by the darkness and any enemy force, as well as a symbol of Him who cannot be offended (nor will He tolerate being offended)[b] by any created being. His disposition is the symbol of the highest power. No person or persons can or may disturb His work or His disposition.” “His disposition is the symbol of authority.” What is the result that is achieved once God reveals His disposition? It makes people see how much ability God has, and that God is the highest authority with the greatest might. Therefore, the result that is achieved is to conquer people, to make them submit, prostrate themselves on the ground and worship eternally. So are the people prostrating themselves to worship because God commanded, “Kneel down to worship Me immediately”? Did God say that? God did not say that, but once God’s disposition is revealed it is able to achieve such results objectively. What it achieves is the result that the highest authority can achieve. It is the symbol of the highest authority and is the highest authority itself. What is authority? God’s disposition is the authority. It is even more impressive than ordinary authority, and the results that it achieves are even more obvious. If God simply ordered people, “Kneel! Prostrate yourself,” people would kneel down, since it would be unacceptable not to kneel—people walking under low eaves have no choice but to bow their heads—but they would not submit in their hearts. But once God’s disposition is revealed the situation is different. It makes people submit both in word and in thought, and prostrate themselves in willing worship forever. See in Revelation how the twenty-four elders and four living creatures day and night never stop calling out, “Hallelujah! Praise God!” How worthy of worship is God! That is the result that God’s disposition achieves. Once people see God’s face, people can only prostrate themselves and keep on worshiping God, for they don’t know how to express their feelings with words. After God’s disposition issues forth, the power that it has demonstrated, the results that it has accomplished, the tremendous influence that it has achieved, are they not symbols of authority? God’s disposition carries great authority, and it can accomplish all things. This is the symbol of authority. What of mankind? Anything important must be decided by the highest authority or the top decision-making body, then the documents are stamped with a big red seal and signed by a president or famous expert signifying that “this document represents authority.” This is how people understand authority. They think, “Those official documents issued by central government agencies have authority, and their words count.” Yet how long will they be effective? What results can they achieve? Once God’s disposition issues forth, once a word of God is uttered, the authoritative organization that people worship will be gone, turned to ash. Can mankind’s power ever represent authority? No. In the blink of an eye, it will be turned into a laughing stock, swept out the door, and become history. Therefore, only God’s disposition truly represents authority; it is the only symbol of authority. Does God need to issue some documents and stamp His seal on them for every few words that He speaks? No, He simply says the words and the deeds are done. When the time comes, His words shall be fulfilled, they shall come true, they shall come to pass, without needing anyone as witness. Time is their witness, history is their witness, and all people will be convinced. This is the proof that God’s disposition is the symbol of authority.

God then said that His disposition is “the symbol of all that is righteous.” People have never understood what is truly righteous. In the unbelievers’ world everyone says that they themselves are right and they all have their own reasons. Who is righteous? No one can say for sure. However, all the words expressed by God show us that all of them are truths. Since all of them are truths, aren’t they symbols of righteousness? Only truths are righteous. Therefore, God’s disposition is the symbol of all righteousness. This is something that we have always said: All truths and everything positive in this world come from God. In ancient times, they were expressed through the prophets; during the Age of Grace and the Age of Kingdom, they were and are expressed through the incarnate God. All truths and everything positive come from God, and this is fact. Since all truths and everything positive come from God, and the words of God’s represent God’s disposition and are all revelations of God’s disposition, therefore, fundamentally speaking, isn’t God’s disposition the symbol of all righteousness? There are no negative things amongst those revealed by God’s disposition, there is not a shred of evil, they are all positive things, and they are the symbols of all righteousness. Do all the words that God uses to damn Satan symbolize the righteousness in God’s disposition? God’s damning Satan does represent the righteousness of God. God exposes the essence and secrets of the satanic evil world. This also is the expression of His righteousness. That God wants to end this dark, evil age offers even more proof that God’s disposition is the symbol of righteousness. Have you read the words of God that say why God wants to end this age? It is because this age is too dark, too evil, and resists God to breaking point. God created all things for humankind, and in creating all, God prepared it all for humankind. Now humankind not only does not thank God, but also resists God and opposes Him, tries to abolish God’s work and establish regions in the world that are without God, and persecutes God’s chosen people. In addition to this, the religious community seeks to gain control over all of God’s chosen people. Doesn’t all this represent darkness and evil? God has damned this dark and evil world, damned the devil Satan, and damned the religious community. This demonstrates that God’s disposition is the symbol of all that is righteous. Does putting it this way make it easier to understand? Then let’s say something about the micro aspect of this, a practical aspect: God detests our corrupt disposition, God despises our rebelliousness, and deplores our satanic nature. Therefore, God has worked on us with extreme patience. This can also demonstrate that God’s disposition is the symbol of all that is righteous. If you pursue truths and righteousness, then you should read God’s words and experience God’s work, and you shall know that God’s disposition is the symbol of all righteousness. No one can deny that. You see, since the words of Almighty God were published online and have been spread to all corners of the world to be witnessed, has any denomination dared to deny these words of Almighty God? Has any political party dared to say that the words of Almighty God are not truths? No, no one dares to question or challenge the words of God. There are many evil elements amongst corrupt mankind, and they have some conceptions regarding God’s work and God’s words, but they do not dare to deny that the words of Almighty God are truths. Is this not fact? Those evil forces that belong to Satan always want to find flaws and nitpick in God’s words, trying to look for any external reasons to make others deny God. This proves that Satan is running out of tricks. Because it is unable to deny that the words of Almighty God are the truths, therefore it tries to find something external against Him to confuse people, to prevent them from accepting the work of God. This is all that Satan knows; it only knows such underhanded tricks. Do you now have a good grasp of these matters? However, those ignorant people listen to Satan and allow themselves to be confused by Satan. They refuse to accept God’s work. And why is that? Part of the reason is because they are ignorant and muddled, but it is mainly because they don’t love truths. Look at those who really love truths. After they have listened to the words of truth, they deny the words of Satan, they refuse, they say no, and they say: “I believe that all these words are the truths,” and accept them. Whereas those who don’t love truths find some excuses to reject them. God allows such things, for God does not force anyone. This is also God’s disposition. And what does such a disposition represent? It represents greatness, and it also represents nobility. The disposition that He has demonstrated, not forcing anyone to do anything, treating mankind with magnanimity, being patient, forgiving, and tolerant with mankind, these all represent the nobility of God. But how does God treat those who don’t love truths? Besides patience, magnanimity and tolerance, He has another method: If you do not accept, that is fine, but I shall put you in the middle of a catastrophe to be refined. No one predestined by God shall be lost, and those not predestined by God shall all die in the catastrophes. How about God’s method? Everyone says that it is good. So God does have a method to deal with such people. God is able to handle all kinds of people. For those who deserve to die, God will let them die in the catastrophes and be destroyed by them; for those who do not deserve to die, they are put in the middle of catastrophes to be refined, and a few years of refinement will make them obedient. Look at all of these people who have accepted God’s work: They all started with conceptions, they were all arrogant, but what happens? Aren’t most of them obedient now? They are all like lambs now, aren’t they? They have all become like lambs, allowing God to steer and slaughter them, submitting to all of God’s arrangements. Many of them have abandoned everything for God, enduring all kinds of pain to follow God. They have suffered through coercion and persecution from their families, abandonment by their relatives, and capture by the government, yet they still want to follow God. Aren’t they as obedient as lambs? They have achieved such a great transformation because they have been conquered by God’s work and have been purified by God’s words of judgment, and they have attained some perfection. And what of the unbelievers? They are still not submitting, they are still resisting. That is fine; they shall be dealt with during catastrophes. Doesn’t it depend on a word from God? God pays no attention to them now, God does not force them. It would be good if they accept God, and they shall be blessed by God; if they do not accept God, then they shall suffer and they shall be put in the middle of a catastrophe. Isn’t this matter quite simple?

God’s disposition is “the symbol of authority,” “the symbol of all that is righteous,” and also “the symbol of all that is beautiful and good.” How did we use to understand beauty and goodness? Those things that we deemed positive were beautiful and good; those things that we deemed negative were not beautiful or good. But do our ideas about this reflect the truth? No, they don’t. Some people were born particularly beautiful, so we said, “Oh, this is something beautiful!” but is that right? Some were born with a kind face, and we said, “Oh, this is something good,” but is that right? All of this is wrong. Corrupt mankind cannot represent beauty and goodness. No one can represent them, because only God’s disposition is the symbol of all that is beautiful and good. What does the beauty of God’s disposition refer to? What does the goodness of God’s disposition refer to? Have you learned anything? Can you give a summary? In what ways is the beauty in God’s disposition expressed? In what ways is the goodness in God’s disposition expressed? We can discover these things in God’s words, isn’t that right? This is one aspect of it, while on the other hand we can find out even more from the final results achieved by God’s purifying, saving, and perfecting God’s chosen people. Can those perfected by God live out beauty and goodness? They can now live out some of them, but we cannot say that they represent beauty and goodness. We can only say that they can live out a bit of beauty and goodness. To be an honest person, to speak honestly, isn’t this beauty? Isn’t it goodness to love others as ourselves? To be an honest person, to practice truths, to submit to God, to practice the love of God, these are the most beautiful things. To be an honest person is the beauty of humanity in itself. What does an honest person reveal? Vitality, exuberance, being simple and open, speaking their heart, without any cunning, without any lies. Isn’t this beauty? The unbelievers have this to say, “Those with a beautiful spirit are the most beautiful,” and there is some truth to this. What does a beautiful spirit refer to? Doesn’t it refer to an honest person? If an honest person has gained truths, if an honest person can truly love and submit to God, then aren’t they the most beautiful of people? If an honest person is able to love God, if they can love others as themselves, then aren’t they lovable? Lovable things are always the most beautiful things. God is the most lovable, and the incarnate God is the beloved. Christ, the beloved, is the most lovable. Those who truly love God are also lovable, but their lovability is different from that of Christ’s, isn’t that right? Their lovability is far inferior to that of Christ’s. In the hearts of people, these are the most beautiful things. God’s words are the most beautiful, because they are the symbol of all that is beautiful and good, they are all positive things. As for God’s disposition, it is even more so the symbol of beauty and goodness. What is beauty? What is goodness? Do you now have some understanding? Beauty is that which is the most beautiful, that which is most liked by people; goodness is that which is the kindest, that which people most long for, that which they most approve of. God’s disposition is “the symbol of all that is beautiful and good,” and this is the best summary possible. Therefore, isn’t God’s disposition worthy of people’s love? Isn’t it the most lovable?

We always used to ask, “What is it to love God? What makes people capable of loving God? People must have a heart that loves God, but how is the heart that loves God created? Where does it come from?” Now that we have talked about so many things, can you see clearly through this matter? Where does the heart that loves God come from? It comes when we have come to know God’s disposition. When we see that there are these five representations to God’s disposition, which are “honor, power, nobility, greatness, and most of all, supremacy,” and that God’s disposition is “the symbol of authority,” “the symbol of all that is righteous,” and “the symbol of all that is beautiful and good,” we feel that God’s disposition is highly lovable, that it is worth the eternal praise of mankind. When we say that God’s love is too vast, that God is so lovable, that God is so great, what are we referring to? We are referring to the disposition of God, and they all come from our understanding of God’s disposition. Isn’t that right? Because God’s disposition has these symbolic significances and represents these aspects, therefore, when we have come to some understanding of God’s disposition we can directly feel that God is so lovable, that if we do not love God, then we do not deserve to be called human beings. People who do not love God do not deserve to be called human. Is it valid to say this? But many people cannot say such a thing at the moment, and only after they have experienced some things can they say such a thing. Let us now explore another issue. We know that a heart that loves God comes after one has gained an understanding regarding God’s disposition. And with our limited knowledge of God’s disposition, can we achieve love of God? No, we cannot. Suppose you say, “I have some understanding of God’s disposition.” Then, others might ask you, “Are you able to love God?” So you might reply, “I don’t love God yet, because my love is too meager.” What does this prove? That you have too little understanding of God. You say that you have an understanding of God’s disposition, yet you still have not gained a heart that loves God. Could such a limited understanding be up to scratch? Has it brought due results? No. Therefore, even if you are able to talk about many doctrines, they are not based on true understanding because your understanding does not bring due results. What level must our understanding of God reach before we shall receive praise from God? We must be able to love God, and we must have a heart that fears God. If we can attain this, then our understanding has reached the benchmark. Why do we say this? Because this understanding of ours has allowed us to attain a reverence for God, to achieve true love of God and true submission to God. It has gained fine results, it has borne fruits, and so such an understanding is up to standard. God does not expect people to understand Him to a very high degree, to attain a high level of comprehensiveness or completeness in our understanding. God does not expect this. He only wants to see some results from us, then our understanding is up to standard and we shall be praised by God. What level did Peter attain? From the fact that Peter was willing to be crucified upside down for God, we can see that he loved God to the extreme. He loved God to such a degree, “I must be crucified upside down for God, for I am deeply unworthy of the Lord’s crucifixion for me! God is so lovable! He is the Creator, while I am a corrupt man. I deserve to perish, my sins deserve to be punished, so I’m not worthy of the Lord’s crucifixion for me. I must repay the Lord’s love. I must be crucified upside down for Him.” Therefore, what is the manifestation of Peter’s crucifixion? It is a manifestation of the greatest love for God, a love that no one can achieve. Why did God praise Peter’s understanding of God? Because he had attained the greatest love for God. Look at those people who have been blessed by God. One such man was Abraham. He was able to offer his only son to God. He was able to raise the knife to kill his son, and if God had not prevented him, the knife would have fallen and his son would have truly become a burnt offering. That is the degree to which he submitted to God, and for which he gained God’s praise. Peter was praised by God because of his love for God. Abraham’s submission and Peter’s love for God, how were they achieved? They are attained because Abraham and Peter had some true understanding of God. God’s disposition is “the symbol of all that is beautiful and good,” and now we have gained some understanding of these words, isn’t that right?

God’s disposition is even more “a symbol of Him who cannot be[a] overcome or invaded by the darkness and any enemy force.” This statement should be easy to understand, right? Someone said, “That God’s disposition is the symbol of beauty and good is easy to understand: God is beauty and good; Satan is evil. But can God defeat Satan and overcome satanic forces of darkness and evil?” Some people who could not figure out the answer said, “Is God able to destroy the great red dragon? Can God strike down Satan’s kingdom and destroy it by disasters? If so, then God’s disposition is truly the symbol that He can be above all and can overwhelm satanic evil forces.” So can we now see the fact that God has defeated Satan? The simplest thing is that the result to be achieved through God’s work will ultimately be achieved, no matter how much of Satan’s persecution and hounding His chosen people have to undergo, or how great their frustration. What does this show? It indicates that God’s disposition can triumph over any enemy force, right? “More than that, it is a symbol of Him who cannot be[a] overcome or invaded by the darkness and any enemy force.” No enemy force is able to overcome Him. At present it is the great red dragon that hounds God’s chosen people so cruelly that some of God’s chosen people have fled China for other nations. But the great red dragon still wants to pursue them, even using diplomatic means and economic sanctions to exert pressure to have them repatriated to China. Have they accomplished this? After spending who knows how much money on this and investing much human effort and material resources, they have not accomplished their goal. In the end, the chosen people are to be made complete by God and taken into God’s kingdom, and Satan cannot do anything to stop it. Isn’t that a fact? That is a fact. So can that fact prove that God’s disposition is even more “a symbol of Him who cannot be[a] overcome or invaded by the darkness and any enemy force”? Yes, it is entirely capable of proving this. So when we have finished reading this sentence of God’s words, and then look at the actual results that God’s work has achieved and the fact of God defeating Satan, we can testify that these words of God’s are all too accurate, all too real. They are genuine and credible. Some people harbor conceptions: “Since the great red dragon stirs up such trouble and hounds God’s elect, why doesn’t God destroy the great red dragon?” Quite a few people say this, including those in the religious community. Some unbelievers even say, “If God were to destroy the great red dragon that would show that God is more awesome than Satan, and then we would believe in God. Look at how the great red dragon’s police cars keep going by, sirens blaring, a dozen at a time. How great it would be if with one word God would flip them into the ditch! Then we would believe in Him!” Even though the police cars keep going by and not a single one is flipped over, it doesn’t matter. When the end comes the whole nation of the great red dragon will collapse, so does it matter if the police cars are not flipped into a ditch? How great it will be when the country simply collapses, right? But this will happen in God’s time, and God has already determined when, right? When the great catastrophe comes, China will be the first to be destroyed, and destroyed by the hand of God. No sooner was this said than it was confirmed as an accomplished fact, something already completely certain. What proof is there? There is a mountain in Guizhou, China where a landslide revealed a large rock with Chinese characters on it. What characters? Scientists went to investigate it, took photos, and published them in the newspapers, six large characters reading: The Chinese Communist Party will perish! These six characters were high up on the rocks of the mountain. According to the geologists who went there to investigate, the characters were not carved by humans, and the rock was formed several hundred million years ago. So when were these characters created? We can’t say whether it was several thousand years ago, or tens of thousands of years, or possibly several hundred thousand years ago. So some have said, “That’s not right. If you’re saying the characters were formed thousands or tens of thousands of years ago, the Communist Party didn’t yet exist then, it hadn’t been formed. How could there be the characters for ‘the Chinese Communist Party will perish’ when it had not yet been formed? How many years altogether has the Chinese Communist Party been in existence?” The Chinese Communist Party was formed in Shanghai in 1921. That’s over ninety years ago. So what about that rock? Several hundred million years old. And the characters? Perhaps several hundred thousand years old. So if there was no Communist Party then how could the characters have been formed? Is something like that possible? Is there a basis for it in God’s words? God has such power. All is orchestrated by God, arranged by God, and destined by God. Therefore, hundreds of thousands of years ago or even tens of millions of years ago, long before this thing appeared, God had already preordained that in the last days He would make a group of people who would be of one mind with God; He had preordained that the Communist Party would be selected as a foil; He had preordained where the group of one mind with Him would be born, and when we would come before God. He had preordained how much we would have to suffer while experiencing His work, whether it be eighty-one tribulations or one hundred and eighty tribulations. He preordained all of these. Everything was preordained. Therefore, because God preordained them, and because God is almighty, the prophecies of the Book of Revelation and the prophetic books of the Bible were created. The prophecies in the prophetic books were uttered several thousand years before the events happened, right? Those things in the Book of Revelation were spoken of two thousand years ago. They are the revelations written by John the Apostle after he saw visions on the island of Patmos. These things were uttered two thousand years ago, so God long ago arranged the events of the last days, isn’t that so? As for the Communist Party, God has decided that the Communist Party will do this service of acting as a foil in the last days. When it has completed its mission serving as a foil God will then destroy it. Why has God exposed those characters on the rock in Guizhou in advance and let people see them? This rock was exposed just at the high tide of the Communist Party defying God, condemning God, and persecuting God’s chosen people. He has used this rock to reveal a secret, which is that God has already preordained that the Communist Party is ultimately to be destroyed, and so God’s chosen people will have faith in Him, right? Isn’t it by means of this rock that God has spoken to people, to give them revelation? If I put it this way is it easy for you to understand? Now let’s take another look at this sentence of God’s: “More than that, it is a symbol of Him who cannot be[a] overcome or invaded by the darkness and any enemy force.” Is that true? God preordained these things long ago. Before there was a Communist Party and this evil world, God had already preordained these things. Can we recognize God’s disposition in all this: “More than that, it is a symbol of Him who cannot be[a] overcome or invaded by the darkness and any enemy force”? Is it easy to recognize? So if some new believers ask whether or not God can destroy the great red dragon, this is fitting testimony. How else can you bear witness? You can say that the Roman Empire persecuted Christians even worse in the age of the apostles. The Roman government killed and beheaded who knows how many. In the end how was it destroyed? It was also destroyed by God, destroyed with plague. When the great plague struck, the corpses covered the territory of the Roman Empire. God finished it off with the plague. Some nations He has finished off with popular rebellions. Some nations He has finished off with warfare. There have been all sorts of ways to finish them off. So how will God finish off the Chinese Communist Party? God will destroy it with His own hand! After God has returned to Zion He will instantly bring catastrophic destruction down on the Communist Party, this we must understand. These things are enough to demonstrate that God’s disposition is even more “a symbol of Him who cannot be[a] overcome or invaded by the darkness and any enemy force.”

God’s disposition is also “a symbol of Him who cannot be offended (nor will He tolerate being offended)[b] by any created being.” Why bring that up? Some people do not understand what was said above, that no enemy force can overcome God. They say, “There is a person who is awesome, not an ordinary enemy force at all. This person’s power is extremely great. He is the antichrist!” God has spoken about this. God’s disposition is “a symbol of Him who cannot be offended (nor will He tolerate being offended)[b] by any created being.” Anyone you can name, no matter how powerful, is still a created being. God’s disposition is the symbol that He cannot be offended by any created being. That is, so long as someone is a created being, no matter how much ability they have, they cannot offend God’s disposition. Whoever offends God will be destroyed, isn’t that so? Tell me, can any created being lift up the Earth? If God lets loose one big flood, they would be drowned, so how could they lift up the earth? God can destroy a planet at will, so what does any created being amount to? God can destroy a created being the same as stepping on an ant, isn’t that right? God’s disposition is also “a symbol of Him who cannot be offended (nor will He tolerate being offended)[b] by any created being,” which means that His disposition cannot be offended by any created beings. No man, no created being, can offend God’s disposition. Presidents cannot, aliens cannot, scientists cannot, those high officials cannot, those leaders in God’s house cannot, and neither can those used by God or the angels. No one can offend God’s disposition! God’s disposition is righteousness, it is holiness, and it cannot be offended by anyone. In the Old Testament Age of Law, King David offended God’s disposition. He committed adultery because of his momentary lust, and was he punished? Yes, he was punished, although David was not really that kind of person. David was a good man. Look at his life—had David done anything like that before? No, he had never committed adultery before, and he never committed it afterward, either. There was only the one time during his lifetime, yet God did not let it go and David was punished for it.

Let us look at God’s words that follow next, “His disposition is the symbol of the highest power. No person or persons can or may disturb His work or His disposition.” Here, it mentions the highest power, and what is the highest power in the eyes of people? Some say: “Now that we believe in God, God’s words are the highest authority, the highest command, therefore God is the highest power.” It’s right to say this from the point of view of a believer in God, but what would the unbelievers say? They’d say: “Who is the person in this world with the most power? That is the US president, because the US is the superpower in this world, it is the leader of all nations. Every nation must respect the US president, so the power of the US president is the greatest.” In the eyes of the unbelievers, isn’t this the case? Yet, here God says, “His disposition is the symbol of the highest power.” How should we interpret these words? On the surface, God is not the president of any nation. He also is not the consultant to any president, nor is He the Secretary-General of the UN. However, for everything that the presidents of different nations decide on and everything that they do, their success all depends on God’s will and what God says. Without God’s consent, all that these presidents say will be in vain. Isn’t that the case? As the saying goes, “Man proposes, God disposes.” No matter how meticulous the planning of man, without the permission of God all that planning shall be in vain. Therefore, the words from God are the symbol of the highest power, because God’s disposition is the symbol of the highest power. One word from God holds the highest authority and the highest command. At present, all the nations in the world are fighting for power, fighting for land, fighting for their own interests. Once they hear that oil or minerals have been discovered under the sea, disputes break out over that sea, and these disputes may lead to war. Every nation is constantly plotting how to win the disputes or war. When they are scheming about such things, God begins to express His words, for God wants to perform His work, and God wants to accomplish all things in accordance with His management plan. When God performs work, will all that planning from each nation go down the drain? When God performs work, their plans will end up down the drain. There is a popular saying, “Things change faster than plans.” When the situation changes, all the new-made plans will become useless. They have to plan all over again but they will never be able to keep up with the changes. Who is effecting these changes? These changes come from God; God rules over and arranges them. God continuously changes things and disarranges the plans of each national government. He allows things that should be successful to succeed, using them to do service to Him, while obstructing those things that should not succeed by making changes. What does this prove? That God’s disposition is the symbol of the highest power.

Many who study the true way say: “God is revealing Himself and performing work in China? This should not be happening, because the Chinese Communist government is an atheist regime. The CCP is an enemy of God’s, so how could it allow such a thing? If it were to forbid God’s work and deploy its troops to carry out arrests throughout China, how could God’s work succeed? How could God perfect a group of people within China? How could God’s work expand and achieve great things in China? Impossible. The power of the CCP is too great!” Are there those who have such thoughts? Many who study the true way have such thoughts, and many Chinese people say such things because all Chinese people have encountered the ferociousness of the CCP. Which ideology does the great red dragon promote? Revolution! If you provoke the great red dragon, it shall grab you by the hair, and cut your head off. What is this called? Revolution! Don’t you want to keep your heads? Yet a group of Christians dare to risk losing their heads to follow God. Others ask them, “Don’t you fear death?” And they reply, “I’ve long put my life aside!” As a result, these people, because of being protected by God, will follow God faithfully until the end, and they will be perfected into overcomers. What will this prove? “No person or persons can or may disturb His work or His disposition.” No one can disturb God’s work and His disposition, including the CCP. Has the CCP been able to disturb it up to now? No. Some might say: “If you say that it has not disturbed God’s work, then how come it has arrested hundreds of thousands of people?” Some among those hundreds of thousands of people are still standing firm, they are still following God. There are some others the great red dragon has yet to catch. They ran from one city to another, and eventually escaped abroad, and they are expanding God’s work, spreading the gospel of the kingdom to all nations of the world. Has the CCP succeeded in disturbing God’s work? No.

No person or persons can or may disturb His work or His disposition.” One point is that no one can disturb God’s work; another point is that no one can disturb God’s disposition. What does it mean that no one can disturb them? Let’s take an example, such as the president of a country wanting to do something. He usually has to consult with the members of the legislature and his cabinet. Sometimes when an aide, or an assistant, or an important person gives him some new information he changes his mind. Anyone can change their minds when influenced by a manipulative person or force. Only God’s disposition is the symbol of the highest power, and no person or persons can disturb His work or His disposition. God has dominion over everything, dominion over all, so no one can disturb Him, no one can interfere with Him. Some people have asked, “Are the angels able to say something to influence God?” Can they say something to influence Him? Suppose that when whether Job could enter heaven was being considered, God said Job still had some faults and could not enter, but the angels said to God, “This person fears God and avoids evil. Let him enter heaven.” Would God allow this to happen? Absolutely not. What does the fact that there is no such thing prove? “No person or persons can or may disturb His work or His disposition.” What God says is final, God decides everything for Himself, and no one can interfere. God has said before, “From the foundation of the world until today, never have I offered easy access to My kingdom to those who curry favor with Me. This is a heavenly rule, and no one can break it!” As far as God is concerned, no one wins favor based on personal relationship. Someone said, “If I fawn on God I’ll get into heaven without needing to pursue the truth.” Does that statement hold up? It does not. Storing up good deeds and pursuing the truth work, but flattery is useless. In this world, fawning on others is useful; in God’s house it is useless. Ask yourself, who in God’s house has been promoted to a leadership position through fawning? That sort of thing has occurred historically for a few leaders, but God’s house does not allow this. In God’s house truth holds power. If someone uses flattery but has no truth and cannot do their work, after that is revealed they will be dismissed. What does being dismissed show? In God’s house truth wields power, and God decides all. Is flattery any use? Even if it succeeds for a time such people will later be dismissed. Why is it said that “[n]o person or persons can or may disturb His work or His disposition”? First, because God is almighty, God rules over and arranges all things. People are created by Him, and none of the created beings may escape the authority of God. God has created man, therefore God can manipulate and control them. He has arranged a path in life for them, and they shall never escape from this path. No created beings are able to escape God’s authority, God’s orchestration and arrangements, or God’s control. Man shall never escape. God’s Spirit fills the universe, so every person is in God’s presence no matter where they try to escape to. Even if they could escape to the farthest corner of the world, God would still be able to speak to them because God’s authority and power decides so. You see, it is possible that when a child grows up and becomes independent, they can disobey their parents. However, none of the beings created by God can escape God’s rule and arrangements. None can escape the control of God, including Satan itself. Isn’t this the case? Regarding God’s work at present, no matter the difficulties that we encounter, no matter the obstructions and attacks from the forces of Satan, we have confidence because we have come to know God’s disposition. God’s disposition is the symbol of the highest power. All the words expressed by God represent God’s disposition, the highest power, which no forces can obstruct, sabotage, invade, or disturb. This is absolutely the case.

It is now confirmed that God’s disposition is what the Lord of creation has. Besides this, I have fellowshiped in a simple way about the five things God’s disposition represents and the six things it symbolizes, and the fellowship has more or less offered an understanding of what they mean. But to have a true understanding of God’s disposition requires your own experience. Now I offer in fellowship a couple of examples concerning one of these words of God. If you can offer more examples to verify that this word of God is the truth, it means you have a true understanding of God’s disposition from it. If you are able to produce some facts for any of these words of God, it means that you truly understand God’s disposition. If you cannot produce facts for it, can that be said to be truly understanding? It cannot. Even though I have offered examples, I haven’t offered many. It would be good if I could offer a couple more and fellowship about two or three more aspects. But no matter how many examples I offer, or how much I fellowship, you are still just accepting God’s words. The result achieved will be that you say, “I accept this, these words are practical and genuine, not vague.” My fellowship can only achieve such a result. For the rest, you need to rely on your own experience. When you can offer facts drawing on your own experience to prove those words of God’s on the five things represented and the six symbols, then you truly know God’s disposition. When you truly know God’s disposition there is an effect that goes with that. What effect? It is that you ultimately revere God and avoid evil, begin to feel how lovable God is, how lovable God’s disposition is, and that God’s disposition is so good that it is not possible for you to describe how lovable it is. What does the loveliest thing about God refer to? It refers to God’s disposition. Once you understand God’s disposition you are able to develop a heart that loves God, a heart that reveres God, and beyond these, you will no longer have conceptions about God, no longer misunderstand Him. Whatever difficulties come your way, whatever catastrophes befall you, you will not misunderstand God and you’ll be able to believe that God has His good will concerning you and giving you the lessons that you should learn. It is a great opportunity for you to experience God’s work. The worse things are, the less they conform to human conceptions, the more they contain the mysteries of the truth, and the more God is perfecting people. When we see the extremely cruel and insane way the great red dragon persecutes God’s chosen people what do we think? Don’t we come up with conceptions and ideas? Once we come up with conceptions and ideas, don’t we need to seek the truth? We need to fellowship about it, for there is something negative on our minds. Once that happens we start to doubt God, become passive, and have no strength to do our duty. Then we need to think the matter over, and seek the truth. Whenever we think it through, understand God’s intention and come to know God’s disposition, the conceptions we have are erased. What do we rely on to erase these conceptions? Isn’t it the result that is achieved by understanding God’s disposition? Do you all want to pursue an understanding of God? Everyone says yes. When you fellowship about these canonical words of God, “It Is Very Important to Understand God’s Disposition,” especially about God’s joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness, if you can fellowship a lot, which lasts at least several meetings, then you have achieved success in your belief, and you are the most blessed of people. No matter how much you can preach about other topics, none is as important as preaching about this utterance thoroughly. If you can preach about this utterance thoroughly and clearly, then you will be able to give sermons about other topics in a clearer and more thorough manner. This is the last course in the University of Truth. Understanding God’s disposition is the most advanced class in believing in God. After understanding God’s disposition, you no longer see the universe and the world in the same way because God is supreme in your heart, so no one can confuse you and no false ideas have any effect on you. In the future, when the world is thrown into chaos, since you have faith in God you will not be frightened. When death comes you will not be discontent, for you believe God is by your side. When the extraterrestrials arrive, you will also not be afraid, because extraterrestrials were created by God and so are also under God’s dominion. Whatever they say you will still worship God. If they speak demonic or satanic words, you will discern that they are evil spirits and won’t be deluded by them. You’ll say: “You have come here as extraterrestrials, saying there is no God. You are satanic devils, not extraterrestrials. Don’t try and deceive me here!” You’ll see through them in no time, right? So I say, when you have an understanding of God, none of satanic fallacies can delude you, and you can magnify God, revere God, and avoid evil, which means that you have become a person perfected by God.
