It Is Very Important to Understand God’s Disposition (Selections)

“…………

Every sentence I have spoken contains within it the disposition of God. You would do well to ponder My words carefully, and you will surely profit greatly from them. The substance of God is very difficult to grasp, but I trust that you all have at least some idea about the disposition of God. I hope, then, that you will show Me and do more of that which does not offend the disposition of God. Then will I be reassured. For example, keep God in your heart at all times. When you act, do so according to His words. Seek out His intentions in all things, and refrain from doing that which disrespects and dishonors God. Even less should you put God in the back of your mind to fill the future void in your heart. If you do this, you will have offended the disposition of God. Again, supposing you never make blasphemous remarks or complaints against God throughout your life, and again, supposing you are able to discharge properly all that He has entrusted to you and also to submit to all His words throughout your life, then you will have avoided transgressing against the administrative decrees. For example, if you have ever said, ‘Why do I not think that He is God?’ ‘I think that these words are nothing more than some enlightenment of the Holy Spirit,’ ‘In my opinion, not everything God does is necessarily right,’ ‘The humanity of God is not superior to mine,’ ‘The words of God are simply not believable,’ or other such judgmental remarks, then I exhort you to confess and repent your sins more often. Otherwise, you will never have a chance at forgiveness, for you offend not a man, but God Himself. You may believe that you are judging a man, but the Spirit of God does not consider it that way. Your disrespect of His flesh is equal to disrespecting Him. This being so, have you not offended God’s disposition? You must remember that all that is done by the Spirit of God is done in order to safeguard His work in the flesh and in order that this work be done well. If you neglect this, then I say that you are someone who will never be able to succeed in believing in God. For you have provoked the wrath of God, and so He shall use fitting punishment to teach you a lesson.

Coming to know the substance of God is no trifling matter. You must understand His disposition. In this way, you will, gradually and unknowingly, come to know the substance of God. When you have entered into this knowledge, you will find yourself stepping into a higher and more beautiful state. In the end, you will come to feel ashamed of your hideous soul, and, moreover, will feel that there is nowhere to hide from your shame. At that time, there will be less and less in your conduct to offend the disposition of God, your heart will come closer and closer to that of God, and a love for Him will gradually grow in your heart. This is a sign of mankind entering a beautiful state. But as yet, you have not attained this. As you all rush about for the sake of your destiny, who has any interest in trying to know the substance of God? Should this continue, you will unknowingly transgress against the administrative decrees, for you understand far too little of the disposition of God. So is not what you do now laying down a foundation for your offenses against the disposition of God? That I ask you to understand the disposition of God is not at odds with My work. For if you transgress against the administrative decrees often, who among you will escape punishment? Would My work then not have been entirely in vain? Therefore, I still ask that, in addition to scrutinizing your own conduct, you be cautious in the steps you take. This is the higher demand that I make of you, and I hope that you will all consider it carefully and give it your earnest regard. Should a day come when your actions provoke Me to a towering rage, then the consequences will be yours alone to consider, and there will be no one else to bear the punishment in your place.

Today, our fellowship continues with “It Is Very Important to Understand God’s Disposition.” God says, “Every sentence I have spoken contains within it the disposition of God. You would do well to ponder My words carefully, and you will surely profit greatly from them.” Every sentence spoken by God contains His disposition. This means that each word reveals His disposition. Some may not able to comprehend this. “Each word reveals His disposition? Could this be true?” Most people think that some of God’s words indeed reveal His disposition, that it could be felt and that it’s rather obvious. But they are not able to recognize that some others of God’s words also reveal God’s disposition, or rather that every sentence of God’s words reveals God’s disposition. What is the reason? The reason lies in their poor ability to receive God’s words. Only those who can, and truly understand the truth will recognize how every word from God reveals His disposition. If one’s understanding of truth is too shallow, and the experience of his faith is still shallow, can he achieve this effect? No. This is why many brothers and sisters cannot recognize it, saying, “I am not able to see how every word spoken by God reveals His disposition.” This is very normal. What is the problem here? They are too inexperienced and so cannot recognize it. It’s like making someone who has only completed elementary school attend high school or university courses. It is beyond his competence. No matter how the teacher explains, he cannot understand the lessons. Is this related to having a poor foundation? Yes. When do you count as having stature? How do you measure your stature in truth and life? It is based on this sentence of God’s words. When you can see God’s disposition within every word of God, when you see how God’s disposition is revealed in every word He says, how they represent facets of His disposition—when your understanding has reached this level—then you truly have stature. This indicates you have knowledge of God. Then what stature do you now have? Do you know how to measure it? There are those who say, “I have no idea on it. I’ve read much of God’s words, yet I still do not know for sure which ones specifically reveal His disposition, or what connection they have with God’s disposition. I simply cannot distinguish them. What I do see is that God says some powerful words in His wrath, so those certainly reveal His disposition. But then there are His exhorting words, blessings, everyday conversations. Why is it that I am not able to see His disposition through them?” What is the cause of it? They have just started their faith and are of small stature and shallow experience, or perhaps they lack experience and knowledge about the truth. Now, as you listen to my fellowship and communication with you, have you come to know me a bit better? All of you have. How was this attained? It is because you have come to understand and experience some perspectives and knowledge that I fellowship, and you can confirm that what I say has reality and is correct that you have some knowledge of me. Right? Then, have you come to experience and know God’s word? If someone has experienced and known God’s word, can he be certain that each of God’s words contains His disposition within? He would be able to take in this, and he would no longer stick to their guns. Nor will he say, “Only words spoken in anger and with authority denote God’s disposition; while others do not.” Instead, he will say, “Common words reveal God’s disposition as well, even the simplest ones, for His disposition is revealed through all He says. And that is the truth.” If he has this level of understanding of God’s word, then he is invaluable and carries weight. Now, remember what I have said in your hearts. Experience in this way for a period of time: “I will seek the truth in every word He says to see if they truly contain His disposition.” Try it and stick it out for a while. I promise you, the reward will be great. The day will come when you will feel utterly convinced and say, “Every word said by God is true. They all contain God’s disposition. I am completely convinced now.” When this effect is achieved, does it mean you have some knowledge of God? What does having knowledge of God mean exactly? It means to know His disposition. After someone senses that God reveals His disposition in everything He says, that His words represent His disposition, he will feel different when he reads the word of God. He will feel, “All of God’s words are the truth. Regardless of whether I understand them, regardless of whether I have experienced them, regardless of whether they conform to my imaginations and notions, these are God’s words and the truth. Of that I am sure.” Such a person will be able to treasure God’s words, he will be able to focus on seeking the truth in His words, he will be able to focus on accepting the truth, life, and reality in God’s words into his heart. This kind of person can achieve knowledge of God. He will be able to receive a fruitful life from God and God’s words. Do you not agree with me? What is the path to receiving a fruitful life from the words of God? Can those who perform religious ritual receive a fruitful life? Can you receive a fruitful life by listening to sermons of pastors and elders in the religious community? Can you receive a fruitful life by reading the works of famous or great people from religious communities? No. Why is it so? For no matter how grand it is, how good it is, or how much it conforms to people’s conceptions and imaginations, man’s word is not the truth. It does not come from God.

What is it that makes God’s word so precious? God’s word is the life, God’s word is the truth, it is the reality of positive things, it is the very life God has blessed man with. Regardless of whether His word conforms to our conception and imagination, we should eat and drink it earnestly, seek the truth in it seriously, and ponder it carefully. If you can grasp the reality of the truth and life in God’s word and then accept it into your heart, practice it, and live it out, that’ll be great. Then, you will have received a fruitful life from God. You see that some people have experienced the work of God, and they become more honest, speak more accurately, and act more practically. What is the reason here? This effect is reached because they have gained the truth and made the truth their life. Don’t you agree? Why do those who are able to speak of letters and doctrines lie too much? Why do they always behave without principles? Despite believing in God for many years, why do they not know what the truth is and what reality is? Wherein lies the problem? Being able to speak of doctrinal words is meaningless. Religious pastors and elders only have knowledge about the Bible and theology, yet this does not represent life. Isn’t this the case? So if we put effort in seeking the truth in God’s word until we’re able to know how His disposition is revealed in every word, that they all contain the disposition of God, then in the end we will achieve knowing God. Where do we begin to know God? From knowing every one of God’s words. If we are able to see God’s disposition and what God has and is and understand His will in each of His words, then by eating and drinking God’s word like this, at the end we will gain the truth and life and achieve knowledge of God. It doesn’t matter now how long we’ve believed in God. The key is how much we know of His word and how much we have entered into His word. That’s most crucial. Some have been believers for 20 years, without understanding or entering into the reality of the truth of even one of His words. They’ve wasted 20 years. Then there are those who have believed in God for three or five years and only know some of God’s words, yet they can see His disposition in all of them. They’ve seen His righteousness and holiness, and thus they’ve come to revere Him. Haven’t they gained life? Yes, they have. There is no doubt about it. Religious pastors and elders have spent a lifetime reading the Bible and delivering sermons. But why then do they lack reverence in their heart? What is the problem here? How have they been reading God’s word? Why did they not develop reverence toward God from it? Why did they not achieve true knowledge of God? A lifetime of preaching the Bible, yet why did they not gain the life? This is a question that should be pondered carefully. Isn’t this matter worth reflecting upon? It most certainly is. The Pharisees often interpreted the Bible to believers. Yet, when the Lord Jesus appeared to do His work, they did not recognize Him. They recognized how the Lord Jesus’ word is authoritative and powerful, that it is truly different from the speech of the common folk, yet they could not accept that He was the Messiah. “You are not called the Messiah. How can You claim to be the Messiah? I shall crucify You then!” What is the problem here? Did they know of God’s word? They did not. They studied the Bible for so many years, yet they had learned nothing of God’s word. What is the problem here? Does explaining the Bible more equate to knowing God’s words more? No. If so, how did they explain the Bible to others? They preach nothing but Biblical knowledge. They focused only on exhibiting themselves as the expert on the Bible, “I ought to know the Bible well, I ought to preach it. The more well-versed I am about the Bible, the better my sermons will be, the more people will listen!” This was all they cared about. What happened after they focused on this? What did they neglect? Practicing and experiencing God’s words. This neglect was a fatal mistake! They neglected seeking the truth and grasping God’s will in His word, neglected knowing what the reality of the truth in God’s words is, and what kind of life it can bring people. Moreover, they didn’t know how the word of God is connected with God’s disposition. They ignored these paths and methods of seeking the truth. Therefore, all their studies of the Bible and preaching were useless. They gained nothing.

146-B-2

Here, God says, “You would do well to ponder My words carefully, and you will surely profit greatly from them.” If you ponder and seek this aspect of the truth, “you will surely profit greatly from them.” How should you understand this? Basically, if you can see that each sentence that God says contains God’s disposition within, then you have reaped a lot. This is a great reward in regard to faith. In terms of life progress, this is a huge step. That is why God says, “[Y]ou will surely profit greatly from them.” Now, have you attained this spiritual stature yet? Do you see that each sentence that God says contains God’s disposition? If you can give many examples, that is, if you can randomly pick out one sentence of God and demonstrate that it “contains within it the disposition of God,” then your harvest is great. In the past, many people said, “How can we understand God’s disposition? Well, I’ll specifically read the words that God says when He gets angry to understand it. I’ll read these words about which people God curses and convicts to understand it.” Is this correct? This is one-sided. Then how do you understand His disposition? Each sentence that God speaks has God’s disposition. If you can understand this matter, it is fine. Do not just read one aspect of God’s words. You must read different aspects of God’s words. You must read every aspect of God’s words. Every aspect of God’s words has God’s disposition within. If you can see clearly this matter, you will have an understanding of God’s word. When you are free, ponder God’s words like this, “Is God’s disposition in these words of God? These words express God’s compassion for people and compassion is a part of God’s disposition. God’s righteous disposition has compassion. What those words show is God’s love for people and love is also a part of God’s righteous disposition. These words show God’s wrath and God’s wrath is also a part of God’s righteous disposition.” In the end, you will realize that God’s disposition is in each of God’s words. No matter which passage of God’s words or sentences they read, they can discover God’s disposition and what God has and is, isn’t this understanding the truth? Understanding the truth refers to this. If in every sentence God speaks we can recognize the disposition of God, and we can recognize what God has and is, then it is not difficult to understand God’s will. If a person has such a capacity to understand in eating and drinking the word of God, he is a person who loves the truth. This is a sign that he is on the right track of believing in God. That is, this person knows how to eat and drink the word of God and can live independently. If a person so pursues the truth and so eats and drinks the word of God, it will be much easier for him to achieve a knowledge of God’s disposition, and he will certainly be able to achieve a knowledge of God. If you eat and drink the word of God and are able to find God’s disposition in each sentence, and even if you cannot express your understanding clearly, you feel that they hold the disposition of God and what God has and is—if you have this kind of feeling, isn’t it that you have a pathway in eating and drinking the word of God? You know how to contemplate God’s word—you are clear about what you should gain, what you should know, and what you should understand from God’s word. Only if people know how to eat and drink the word of God will they mature in their lives. Only those who know how to eat and drink God’s word are ones who pursue the truth. If a person does not know how to eat and drink the word of God, and when he reads the word of God, he cannot see the disposition of God held within it, and cannot find what God has and is—in that kind of case, can he understand the truth? He cannot. You must thoroughly see this. Therefore you should measure and reflect on yourself—whether you know how to eat and drink the word of God, and upon eating and drinking the word of God what kind of result you can achieve—and then you will know your own true stature. Some people say, “I really like to work for God; I prefer to be a preacher to witness God.” To do this, where do you begin? What do you need to have? You need to have an understanding of the truth and know the disposition of God. If you want to achieve this result, you have to know how to eat and drink the word of God. The most important thing in eating and drinking the word of God is to be able to know God: to know and understand the disposition of God, to see what God has and is, to understand the will of God and God’s requirements of humankind, and to find the meaning of truth borne in the word of God. Only those people who achieve these results in eating and drinking the word of God are ones who pursue the truth, and it is only this way that they can know God through experiencing God’s work. If you do not eat and drink the word of God in this way, your reading of God’s word is useless, and no matter whether you forsake for God, or whether you spend and suffer for God, if you don’t know how to eat and drink the word of God, you will still have no way to attain the truth. So leaders and workers had best do more spiritual devotions, so that they will be able to guide God’s elect to eat and drink the word of God, guide God’s elect to understand God’s disposition, see what God has and is, see the whole duty of humankind and God’s demands, and find the truth and understand the mind of God in the word of God. Only those who achieve these results are worthy of the name “leaders” or “workers.” This is the leaders and workers’ most practical job, and their most fundamental job. God said, “Every sentence I have spoken contains within it the disposition of God.” If you have this understanding as you eat and drink the word of God, then it means that you have understood many truths, and you are able to see through many things. You perceive that the word of God is not simple, you perceive that the word of God is the truth and is the voice of the Creator, and that all the requirements and intentions that the Creator has for created humankind are borne in the word of God. When you have this understanding, then you will begin to treasure the word of God and treasure the truth, and even if you leave everything to pursue the truth and know God, you will not regret it—it is so necessary, for the truth is so valuable. The most critical aspects of experiencing the work of God are eating and drinking the word of God and putting into practice and experiencing the word of God. These are the most fundamental and the most critical aspects of experiencing God’s work.

Then God says, “The substance of God is very difficult to grasp, but I trust that you all have at least some idea about the disposition of God.” What is the connection between God’s disposition and God’s substance? If you have some idea about God’s disposition, why do you feel that it is difficult to grasp God’s substance? Is there a mystery within here? Right now, we are unable to communicate any mystery but from God’s words we can feel God’s intentions. What are God’s intentions? When it comes to God’s substance, it is difficult for us to grasp it, and we are at a loss what to do. We don’t know how to describe it, how to summarize it, and how to understand it, and we can’t find the right path. Here, God says, “I trust that you all have at least some idea about the disposition of God.” What is the meaning of “have at least some idea about”? It means to know a little bit or understand a little. This is what it means to “have at least some idea about.” If we can have at least some knowledge of God’s disposition, then it is advantageous. With this knowledge, when we ponder about God’s substance, it will be easier to understand. This is a breakthrough point. Which aspects of results must we attain when we seek an understanding of God? First, we must understand God’s disposition. Second, we must understand God’s substance. If we have at least some knowledge of God’s disposition and we then seek to attain a further understanding, would it still be hard for us to grasp God’s substance? Wouldn’t we be able to understand a bit about God’s substance? This is how the situation is. Let me give you an example. If you know a person, can you see clearly this person’s humanity, character and substance? Some of you said, “I cannot see clearly this person’s substance, but I know a little about their character.” If you have achieved some knowledge of his character, would you be able to understand this person’s personality and substance? Isn’t this a path? This is a path. Now, when we seek an understanding of God, we start with an understanding of God’s disposition. Once we have a genuine understanding of God’s disposition, we will have an understanding of God’s substance. Now, we are clear and sure about the path of understanding God. Let’s continue reading God’s word.

God says, “I hope, then, that you will show Me and do more of that which does not offend the disposition of God.” Does this point out the minimum result that should be attained when it comes to understanding God’s disposition? It is that we can do some things that do not offend God’s disposition for Him to see. God wants to observe this. What is the minimum result that can be attained through understanding God’s disposition? It is to not offend God’s disposition. In the past, why was it that we frequently offended God’s disposition? All the things that we did that offended God’s disposition were due to the fact that we did not have an understanding of God’s disposition. As we experience God’s work, we frequently encounter dealing and pruning. Each time we encounter dealing and pruning, it brings about some results. Of course, this refers to those that genuinely believe in God and can accept the truth. If those that do not accept the truth are unrepentant, they will be expelled, right? The purpose of dealing and pruning is for us to understand some truth, God’s intentions and God’s demands. This way, when we do work again, it will come closer to God’s demands and we can correct some mistakes. In this way, we will no longer offend God’s disposition. If this is the case, how do those who believe in God stop resisting and offending God? What is the path for this? It is to focus on understanding God’s disposition. Only when we understand God’s disposition, know what God despises, detests and curses, will we not offend God’s disposition. Due to our understanding of God’s intentions, we refuse to do what God despises, detests and curses. We do not contact those that God curses. Instead, we clear them out. In this way, when we do things, the majority of the times, it would be in accordance with God’s intentions. For example, what aspect of God’s disposition does it represent that the Lord Jesus cursed the Pharisees? God hated the Pharisees. Mainly, He despised hypocrisy. Why did God hate these hypocrites? It was because they tried to deceive God. They were one person in front of God and they were an entirely different person behind His back. Since they did not accept the truth, when they interpreted the Bible, they did not seek God’s intentions. They did not abide by God’s demands when they led God’s chosen people. In regard to these hypocrites, firstly, they deceived God, secondly, they contradicted God’s intentions, and thirdly, they were unrepentant. That was why God cursed them. Can God’s disposition be found within the fact that God cursed the Pharisees? Which aspect of His disposition? Isn’t it the disposition that despises evil and falsity and curses those that resist Him? Almighty God expresses so much truth, yet the pastors and elders of the religious world do not accept, seek nor investigate it. Instead, they convict it. Does this offend God’s disposition? It offends God’s disposition in a very serious manner. In which area is it evident that God’s disposition has been seriously offended? When they resist, convict and blaspheme Almighty God, it is equivalent to nailing God onto the cross again. Isn’t this offending God’s disposition? That is why God expresses words of judgment and conviction toward the religious world, “The religious world—how could it not be destroyed by My authority on earth?” How can they not topple if God says this? It is intolerable to Heaven’s law if they do not topple over.

Let’s continue to fellowship. God says, “I hope, then, that you will show Me and do more of that which does not offend the disposition of God. Then will I be reassured.” What are the things that you can do that do not offend the disposition of God? First, fulfill your duties and do your work according to God’s demands. Do not do things according to your own wish and do not take rash and random actions. By doing this, you will not offend God’s disposition. Second, do not blindly judge and convict the things that you do not see clearly or understand. This means you have a heart that reveres God. If you do not have the truth or you do not see clearly a matter, you should seek the truth. Third, do not reject the things that God says which you do not understand or have no experience with. Do not say, “This sentence is not necessarily correct. I have my own opinions about it.” Judging God’s words is also offending God’s disposition. There is also one other very important matter. Do not resist Christ and the man used by God. You must not say words of judgment and moreover the words of conviction because this is something that directly offends God’s disposition. Look at how, during the Age of Law, some Israelite leaders did not obey Moses and said some words of judgment. What was the result? They were directly wiped out by God. That was something serious. They directly offended God’s administrative decrees. Christ is God incarnate. If you directly convict or resist Him, this is very serious. There is one more matter. In regard to the small minority of the people in the religious world who are relatively devout, you must save them with a loving heart. Do not say that 100% of the people in the religious world have been convicted and will be exterminated. This is not correct and it is not in accordance with God’s intentions. Do not say things that contradict God’s intentions. When you say things, it must be based on God’s word. Do not say things that are not in accordance with God’s word. Do not do things that you cannot confirm are in accordance with the truth. In this way, you will not offend God’s disposition. When God’s family expels antichrists and evil people and purges nonbelievers, it does not mean that we lack love. This has been done according to God’s words. It has been done according to the church administration that God promulgates. If some people do not see clearly these matters, they should seek the truth and learn how to obey. God’s family does not make mistakes. God’s family does things with principles. If you cannot accept, then seek the truth. You may ask, “According to what basis do you do these things?” Then I will tell you. And if you ask, “What basis do you have for doing those things?” I will also fellowship with you about this. After I fellowship with you, you will understand. If I do not fellowship with you, do you dare guarantee that you can understand? You do not dare because your spiritual stature is small and because you do not have much reality of the truth. You must know yourself. If you have obedience and can pursue the truth, that confirms that you are someone that God will save. If you do not obey and you are also not someone who pursues the truth, sooner or later, you will be eliminated, right?

146-B-3

God said, “I hope, then, that you will show Me and do more of that which does not offend the disposition of God. Then will I be reassured.” No matter how many years you have believed in God, whether three, five, eight, ten or twenty-odd or thirty-odd, can you guarantee that you will not do anything that offends God’s disposition? You all say that you cannot. Why can you not guarantee this? Because you are not familiar with God’s disposition and most importantly, you do not have a God-revering heart, therefore you are unable to guarantee that you will not do anything that offends God’s disposition. What kind of person can God feel reassured by? As God said, “I hope, then, that you will show Me and do more of that which does not offend the disposition of God. Then will I be reassured.” God will only feel reassured about those people who are able to not offend God’s disposition. God won’t feel reassured about anyone who cannot guarantee that they will not offend God’s disposition. Let us give an example. Churches elect leaders every year. Some people, after they are elected, become false leaders and are eliminated, and others become antichrists and are expelled. They are elected, and no matter how many people they are elected from and how they appear to be good at first, why do they unexpectedly become false leaders or antichrists? What is the reason for this? Now we can be certain that if people do not pursue the truth, none of them can guarantee that they will not fall. Is that not the case? The Holy Spirit reveals those leaders who do not pursue the truth. What is revealed of them? Firstly, that they cannot do real work. Secondly, that they do not seek the truth in what they do and do not do things according to principles. Thirdly, that they are capable of doing some evil and interrupting and disturbing the work of God’s family; this offends God’s disposition. Doing evil deeds offends God’s disposition, and complaining about God, judging God, blaspheming God, these all offend God’s disposition. According to this, can we be certain of what kind of person will not offend God’s disposition? Some say these words, “I can abide by the rules. I do not judge or say anything about things relating to God, so I will not offend God’s disposition.” Can saying this guarantee that they won’t offend God’s disposition? Everyone says it cannot. Some people say: “Although I do not pursue the truth, I do not do evil deeds and do not interrupt nor disturb the work of God’s family.” Can they guarantee that they won’t offend God’s disposition? No, they can’t. People easily complain against and judge God, do evil things, and harm, make things hard for, or punish others when their personal fame and status is affected. What is the purpose of saying these things? It is to make you recognize that without the truth and a God-revering heart, it is easy to offend God’s disposition. Some people say: “My character is good, I have humanity and I believe in God sincerely, so how could I offend God’s disposition? In my heart I love God! I have believed in the Lord for many years. I love God the most. Whoever offends God’s disposition, I will not!” Are these words tenable? No one considers them tenable. The people who have believed in the Lord for many years and believe they love God the most are the most troublesome people. Are these words easy to accept? Some people say: “I believe I love God the most, so how can I become most troublesome?” The Pharisees were like this. The Pharisees often explained the Bible and were well-versed in the Bible; how could they crucify the Lord Jesus on the cross? Could it be that they did not recognize the words of the Lord Jesus as the truth? The Lord Jesus did not sin at all, and He uttered many truths, performed many signs and wonders, healed people and cast out demons, excluded people’s difficulties and anxieties, and gave people so much grace. Just because He was not called the Messiah they condemned Him. They were condemning the truth, weren’t they? The Lord Jesus is the Lord who expressed the truth. Why did they condemn Him? This is what the Pharisees did, who believed that they loved God the most, is that not so? This shows that people who do not have the truth, nor God-revering hearts easily do things which offend God’s disposition.

What kind of people does God feel at ease with? People who can do things that do not offend God’s disposition. This is the lowest criterion For example, when asked why you need to pursue the truth as a believer in God, you may reply, “Before, I frequently resisted and judged God and offended God’s disposition for lack of the truth. Now, I want to repent. I want to live out the likeness of a human being.” What kind of people have the likeness of a human being? Those that do not resist God. At least, what they do does not offend God’s disposition. God does not detest such people nor is He disgusted with them. The minimum demand that God has for those who believe in Him is that they must have some reality of the truth. Not offending God’s disposition is the reality that God demands us to enter into. For example, when someone says, “I do not understand a question,” someone else says, “Tell me about it.” After they pose it, the other person fellowships about the truth in response. Then they say, “I understand now.” This is great. They are not offending God’s disposition. However, some people do not mention that when they do not understand the truth. They do not seek the truth and instead, they rely on their own views to judge and convict the truth blindly. Is this offending God’s disposition? This is offending God’s disposition. With some people, the more you communicate the truth, the more they cause disturbance or sit there chit-chatting. Is this offending God’s disposition? Why is this offending God’s disposition? Not only do they not listen attentively, but their drivel affects other people. Are these people reasonable? These people are revolting. Nobody values such people. If someone says, “Oh, I thirst for the truth,” but when I communicate it to them they engage in idle chit chat, what would I do? I would just leave. I would stop communicating to this person. Some people may say: “You are heartless.” I would reply: “This person is someone that does not love the truth. He is not willing to listen to me communicate. What is the point in communicating to them? Isn’t it stupid and ignorant of me to continue communicating to them?” In the Bible, the Lord says, “Give not that which is holy to the dogs, neither cast you your pearls before swine” (Mat 7:6). Unbelievers say, “Give words to the sensible and food to the starving.” Is this rational? From now on, eliminate those who drivel and cause disturbances at gatherings. God’s family does not want them. None of them must remain! All of them are demons. Understood? These satanic demons who try to cause disturbances should go back to where they came from. Let them get out of here! God’s family does not need them to hear sermons!

Let’s continue our fellowship. God’s word says, “For example, keep God in your heart at all times. When you act, do so according to His words. Seek out His intentions in all things, and refrain from doing that which disrespects and dishonors God. Even less should you put God in the back of your mind to fill the future void in your heart. If you do this, you will have offended the disposition of God.” What does it mean to offend God’s disposition? Do you understand? “[R]efrain from doing that which disrespects and dishonors God. Even less should you put God in the back of your mind to fill the future void in your heart. If you do this, you will have offended the disposition of God.” These words are very important! The work of perfection that Christ of the last days has come to perform is to be done on those that love and pursue the truth. Just because Christ summons people under His name does not mean that they necessarily can enter the kingdom. It is not this. God will create a group of overcomers before the disasters. These overcomers love the truth and are people that pursue the truth. When they have been made complete, the rest will be placed in the midst of the disasters to be refined. If someone who accepts God’s work of the last days pursues the truth, they will become perfected. If they do not pursue the truth or love the truth, then their faith is useless. That is why during God’s work of the last days, God’s family has expelled at least 300,000 people. Why do we dare to expel so many people? Aren’t these people better than religious people? It is because they do not love the truth and are incapable of being perfected that God has eliminated them. Just because someone is admitted into God’s family does not mean that they will be able to enter into the kingdom. There are those who do not love the truth. When the truth is communicated, they whisper into each other’s ear saying idle words. God is disgusted with such people. They cannot be perfected. Their faith is no good. Presently, within the church, are there still those that disturb and interrupt? All the leaders of the churches should exercise supervision and eliminate people who disturb and interrupt. God’s family does not need these people. They do not behave properly. Expel them. Do you hear me? I will not get involved with the elimination of these people. The church can make these decisions. If some people, all along, do not pursue the truth at all, then eliminate them. We do not need them. God’s family does not want these people. These people are useless. In the religious churches, one more person means that more money can be collected, for more money will be donated. God’s family does not want these people. Even if they donate money, we do not want them. If you think that God’s family lacks love, then go join the religious world. Does God’s family treat people with love? The love of God’s family is principled. We love what God loves and we hate what God hates. We do not show love to satanic demons. In all matters, God’s family maintains its principles. What do people in the religions understand? Do they understand even a bit of the truth? Their love is muddled love. It is the love of Satan. It is love that originates from emotions. It is fake love. Is this true love? Their humbleness is fake. They do not know God and they do not have hearts that revere God. They do not recognize who they are. Are they humble? It is fake! They do not have the reality of the truth. They fake humbleness and love. Who are they deceiving? They are deceiving themselves. Can they deceive God? Does God want them?

Let’s continue our fellowship. God’s words say, “Again, supposing you never make blasphemous remarks or complaints against God throughout your life, and again, supposing you are able to discharge properly all that He has entrusted to you and also to submit to all His words throughout your life, then you will have avoided transgressing against the administrative decrees.” What does not transgressing against the administrative decrees involve? How can one do this? “Again, supposing you never make blasphemous remarks or complaints against God throughout your life.” Is it easy to never make blasphemous remarks or complaints against God for the entire time you are alive? It is not easy. How can this be done? You must understand God’s disposition and thus develop a heart that reveres God. Only then will you be able to never make blasphemous remarks or complaints against God. Can you do this if you just rely on abiding by regulations? This is a spiritual matter in life. This is not a matter that involves abiding by rules. If you do not have a life that reveres God, you will not be able to do this. Look at those who do not love the truth. When I deal with them, they keep silent and appear to be submissive. However, do they have a life of obedience? They do not. They curse me behind my back. Afterward, they still persist in going their own way. Why is it that they persist in going their own way? It is because they are people that do not love the truth and are not interested in the truth. Isn’t this the case? They do not have this reality of life. They cannot practice obedience. “[S]upposing you are able to discharge properly all that He has entrusted to you … throughout your life.” What kind of life must you possess if you are to do properly all that He has entrusted you with? You must have a heart that reveres God and you must have a heart that obeys God, right? The foundation is having a heart that reveres God. This is the most basic thing. Only if one has a heart that reveres God can one develop a heart that obeys God. On the foundation of a heart that reveres God, if you can achieve an understanding of God, you will develop a heart that loves God. Having a heart that reveres God is most fundamental and practical. In the past, we frequently fellowshiped about what obtaining life means. In fact, when someone has a heart that reveres God, this person has life. All those without a heart that reveres God do not have life. Those that do not have life, in the end, regardless of how many years they have believed in God, they will die once the disasters descend. They will be exterminated. “[A]nd also to submit to all His words.” “[T]o submit to all His words” is God’s demand. What does it mean to “submit to all His words”? Do you know? Some people can only obey the portion of words that are in accordance with their opinions and imagination. When it comes to God’s promises, blessings and words of mercy, they say, “Great, these are God’s words.” However, when it comes to God’s words of anger and His curses, they are not able to obey. They do not obey God’s words of judgment and chastisement either. Are they a person that obeys God? They are not someone that genuinely obeys God. If, when God’s work comes to an end, they still only accept and obey a portion of God’s words but do not accept other portions, do they have life? Do they have the reality of the truth? No, they do not. They still have notions about God and they are dissatisfied with God. They are particularly dissatisfied with God’s words of dealing and pruning and God’s words of judgment and chastisement. Then, what is such people’s final destination? In the end, they will be eliminated. Since they can offend God’s disposition, God is not willing to see them. God wants them to disappear forever. He will exterminate such people when the great disasters descend. This is how it is. Now, wouldn’t you say that understanding God’s disposition is important? You all say that it is important. To what degree is it important? It involves man’s final destination. If a person believes in God for a few years but does not have a heart that reveres God at all and is able to offend God’s disposition, what kind of final destination will this person have? He will be eliminated by God. God does not want this kind of person. How will this person be eliminated? Some people say that the Holy Spirit will leave this person. This is incorrect. This person will be thrown into the middle of the disasters. He will die within the disasters and that will be the end of him. Won’t all those who do not know God’s disposition be eliminated in the very end? All those who do not obey God’s words and obey the arrangements of God’s family will be eliminated. God’s family does not want such people.

146-B-4

Here are a few sentences of God’s words regarding people offending God’s disposition. “For example, if you have ever said, ‘Why do I not think that He is God?’” If someone has said this sentence, they are finished. This is the result of their not pursuing or accepting the truth, and they have no one else to blame. Are the people who always say this sentence not dead men? They are dead men. What is the nature of saying the following sentence? “‘I think that these words are nothing more than some enlightenment of the Holy Spirit.’” Do such people know the words of God? This is one problem. What other problems are there in saying this sentence? They do not admit that Almighty God is the incarnate God, they do not acknowledge God’s work, they do not accept the truth, they do not have a God-fearing heart and they do not seek the truth. Such people are destined to be eliminated. Is it a simple matter for them to be able to say such words? How arrogant are they so that they can say such words? Some words should be held back in one’s heart and in one’s mind. If they had a God-fearing heart, they would not say them. What is the problem with them being able to say such words? They do not have a God-fearing heart. Such people are finished and destined to be eliminated. It is okay as long as new believers do not condemn and judge God, but they have to accept the truth. They should accept as much as other people have fellowshiped about. If new believers cannot accept the truth no matter how people pass on fellowship to them, then they are finished and destined to not be saved. As mentioned earlier, anyone who says “‘[w]hy do I not think that He is God?’” offends God’s disposition. Why do you not acknowledge that He is God? You are arguing and denying God. You are openly rebelling against and passing judgment on Him. With this kind of disposition you are finished. Some people who have just started to believe in God do not have a clear vision. They say, “I still cannot recognize these are the utterances of God incarnate. I must keep seeking the truth.” How is this? Is there any sense in this? There is sense in this. Then what is the tone of this wording: “‘Why do I not think that He is God?’” It has a satanic tone. It means, “Why should I believe He is God?” Is this the tone of this sentence? Can other people tell that those who say such words are the devil? Some people who say similar words also do not know God, but they are rational and truly believe in God, so others do not feel resentment toward their wording and can understand them. There is some rationality and an intention of seeking the truth in their wording and it is quite objective and true and does not contain Satan’s toxins and disposition. If what someone says contains Satan’s toxins and disposition, then they are the devil. If someone has a little normal sense, but yet they cannot understand or see clearly the truth, then this is normal, because they are small in stature and the words they speak are true. Can you discern them in this way?

As below, there are also the words, “‘In my opinion, not everything God does is necessarily right.’” What is the nature of these words? What are these words based on? These words are based on notions and imagination and this is a problem. What other problems are there? If someone says what God does is not necessarily all right, is it that they directly deny that God is the truth? How do rational people who understand the truth view this? People who understand the truth say: “God’s work and words are all the truth and they are all right. It is just that there are some things of which we have little experience and knowledge and do not understand. My not seeing clearly and understanding does not necessarily mean that some elements of God’s work are not right.” How are such words? They are rational. With the same meaning, the words expressed by people who have Satan’s disposition offend God’s disposition, and the words expressed by people who have some humanity and reasoning do not offend God’s disposition and are objective and realistic. So what kind of people should be eliminated and which kind of people should be saved? People who possess Satan’s disposition and Satan’s toxins should be eliminated. Such people are the devil and the enemy. The object of God’s salvation is those whose words are objective, true and rational though they do not understand the truth. Do you understand? They are similar words and almost mean the same thing, but the forms of expression are not the same. The clear difference between them lies in the disposition. The kind of disposition which directly offends God is Satan’s disposition, because people with such a disposition question God. People who have normal reason say: “I cannot understand it. I need to seek the truth.” What they have spoken is true and this does not offend God. If people who do not understand God’s words and question or resist God, then what they say is offensive to God’s disposition. Can you differentiate them now? You see some people, from the outside, experienced some suffering and cast aside something but after believing in God for ten to twenty years, they suddenly burst out with satanic words. They were lies and words that oppose and condemn God. Tell me, was this just a revelation of corruption? It was not. What was the problem here? It was satanic devils revealing themselves. So these words represented their essence and nature. At this time, their innermost thoughts were revealed, which had been hidden for many years but were finally exposed. Some of them were immediately expelled.

Here there is also another sentence: “‘The humanity of God is not superior to mine.’” What is the problem in saying this sentence? Such people do not know God’s humanity is normal humanity. The satanic humanity looks great and kindhearted from the outside, passes itself off as being extremely good, and pretends to be merciful and particularly noble. They think highly of this kind of humanity but look down on normal, ordinary humanity. What is the problem with this? Some people say they do not know what normal humanity is and what corrupt humanity is. Sometimes those satanic hypocrites appear to be lofty because they speak all the right words and they can pretend. Look at the great red dragon. In front of people around the world and the United Nations, these demons speak really pleasantly, “The object of our struggle is the people’s yearning for a better life.” Have they struggled for the people? Who do they struggle for? When they arrest corrupt officials, it is not a struggle for the people but for themselves. It is to pave the way for them to seize power as a dictatorship and to combat their political opponents. We believers in God are a disadvantaged group. We do not participate in politics yet the great red dragon continuously arrests and represses us, putting us in prison and brutally persecuting us, eager to kill all of us. Is this a struggle for a better life of the people? So, if some people appear particularly good on the outside, it is phony and deceptive. Only the normal humanity of Christ is truly good and principled. Only that is what normal humanity exactly means. The humanity of many people is not normal. They pass themselves off as earnest and good, push themselves forward, and display themselves. It seems as if their humanity is noble, but in fact, it is totally different on the inside. When revealed, they have no truth at all. Some rely on zeal and good intention, some are revealing themselves and some harbor evil intentions. So people who say “the humanity of God is not superior to mine,” firstly, do not have the truth and secondly, do not know nor understand what normal humanity is, what being hypocritical is and what Satan’s “greatness, gloriousness and correctness” is. They view Satan’s “greatness, gloriousness and correctness” as a good thing. “That is what loftiness is, what greatness really is!” They view the normal and ordinary as insignificant. Do such people have discernment? They have no discernment.

As follows, there are also the words, “‘The words of God are simply not believable.’” In saying “[t]he words of God are simply not believable,” what do such people mean by “simply not believable”? The words of God are all faithful and true. They will all be fulfilled, honored and achieved. How can such people say they are simply not believable? What kind of people speak words that are simply not believable? People who tell lies. No matter what they say, you cannot tell which words are true and which are false. Such words are simply not believable. Who do such words belong to? They are the words of the devil Satan and the great red dragon. Their words are simply not believable. Is it blasphemous to describe the words of God as not believable? What kind of person could speak such words? Only the devil Satan, the great red dragon, demons or evil spirits can speak them. Is it the case that only beasts who do not love the truth at all can speak the words above? These words are typical of words that offend God’s disposition, which are just a few examples given by God. Do you understand?

As follows, God says, “Then I exhort you to confess and repent your sins more often. Otherwise, you will never have a chance at forgiveness.” What does “confess and repent your sins more often” mean? Do you know? The meaning of this is that you are already in danger. Admitting your sins once is not enough. You must do much repentance and amend your ways. Then, you may get the chance to attain forgiveness. If you do not sincerely repent and amend your ways, you will certainly be eliminated. From the words of God, do you get this meaning? “Otherwise, you will never have a chance at forgiveness.” This is not a trivial matter. You will never get the chance and there will be no opportunity. You will be done for. Some people say: “Is it really so serious?” Tell me, is it so serious? Some people say: “Other people say more serious things than this and have not been eliminated by God’s family. God’s chosen people think they are really good people. They are still doing their duty!” Does this happen? It does. Does it mean that such people are fine and not in danger? No. Why does it not mean this? Some people say that it does not represent their future outcome. That is not correct. It is wrong. The church not expelling them or dealing with them does not mean that God has not eliminated them. They have already been eliminated by God. Why can you not give such an answer? Do you really think that all those who have not been eliminated from within the church are counted by God? They are not necessarily counted by God. For example, in a church there are thirty people who haven’t been expelled, who all attend meetings normally, but in God’s heart, there are only ten of God’s people, or there are just five who are God’s people. Those fifteen are service-doers. The remaining ten have been eliminated and they are even not qualified to be service-doers. This is how it is viewed by God. Do you understand? So not being expelled by the church does not mean that one can be saved or at least is a service-doer. I talked to God about this matter before and God asked me: “Look at the church you are familiar with. For example, there are thirty or fifty people. Tell Me how many out of them can remain?” I pondered and counted them one by one and then said: “Oh dear. Not even half.” So what is the matter with that half? Besides those who have the work of evil spirits, there are those whose humanity is not good and those who are of poor caliber, who do not pursue the truth and who do not understand the truth. Of the remaining half who are good, some do not pursue the truth and their humanity is just okay. It’s good enough if they can survive as a service-doer. Very few pursue the truth. This is just one church’s situation and I cannot say that all churches are like this. So what kind of people can survive? Those who do not say judgmental words about God for a lifetime, whose humanity is good, who have no notions about God and who obey the arrangements made by God’s family. Some people say: “Are they fools?” They are not fools. They know very well in their hearts. They have God-fearing hearts and do not have notions about God. They say: “It is I who misunderstand and do not see things clearly. I cannot blame God and cannot be unreasonable; I must have reason. God’s words are all the truth. Even if I do not understand them, they are the truth. These words do not conform to my notions and imagination, but they are still the truth and represent God’s disposition.” Such people have okay character, are rational and obedient. But what kind of people can see that every word of God is the truth and has God’s disposition? Those who are of quite good stature, with twenty to thirty years’ experience and understand the truth can see this clearly. Those with little experience can see that some of God’s words possess God’s disposition. Those with deep experience can recognize that God’s disposition is not only majestic and wrathful, but also merciful and loving. Those merciful and loving words contain God’s disposition, and those righteous and majestic words also contain God’s disposition. In addition, there are some words representing God’s disposition, which have the principles and wisdom of God’s actions in them and represent God’s holiness. Do all these words have God’s disposition? They also have God’s disposition. So those who have deep experience and who truly have knowledge of God’s disposition see that every word of God possesses God’s disposition. Such people already have knowledge of God. So can such people still judge God’s words? They will not judge God’s words again. They recognize that all of God’s words are the truth and no matter whether or not they have already experienced them themselves or have knowledge of them, they are one hundred percent sure they are the truth.

146-B-5

As follows, God continues by saying, “[F]or you offend not a man, but God Himself.” In the Age of Grace, the work of the Lord Jesus rarely bore witness to the fact that the incarnate God is God Himself. In the last days, during the Age of Kingdom, Almighty God directly tells us that God incarnate is God Himself. He repeats it many times to make us understand. Why was it that the Lord Jesus did not directly say such words very often in the Age of Grace? This was the first time in the history of mankind that people accepted God incarnate. They were of small stature and they could not understand much of the truth about God’s incarnation. Therefore the Lord Jesus did not make it hard for people in that stage of His work and His demands were not too high. If someone acknowledged that He was Christ, the Son of God, then the Holy Spirit would do His work in them and God would be with them and bless them. Why are the demands for people in this stage of work high? On the one hand, that stage of work acted as a foundation. In addition, and most importantly, the work God does in the last days is the work of perfecting people. When it comes to perfecting people, God wishes to make complete a group of people who truly know God, achieve changes to life disposition and are of one heart and mind with God. God wishes to make complete this group of people so His demands of people are high. He comprehensively and specifically bears witness to Himself, what He has and is and His disposition for people to know. Saying too little would not do. Is this not so? So why say that God’s work of the last days is truly the work of perfecting people and very valuable? This is because God bears witness to His disposition and what He has and is so much and so comprehensively so as to let people know them, which is to perfect a group of people into the ones who know Him. If He had no intention of perfecting people, He would never have said so many words, right?

What is God’s intention in speaking so many words about His own life disposition and what He has and is? Do you know? In the words of man, God introduces all aspects of Himself and what He has and is to people for them to know and understand. If He bears witness to Himself too little, then how would people know Him? There is no way people could know Him. Can they know Him through imagining? They cannot. Can they know Him from all things created by God alone? Their knowledge would be very limited. Can they know Him from scientific inquiry? This cannot be achieved. There is only one way and that is by God incarnate telling us about God Himself, God’s disposition and what God has and is. The more we listen, the more we shall know God. So God’s last days’ work is the work of perfecting people to attain the truth. Some people say: “Is the work of God in the last days not the work of judgment? Is the work of judgment not to cleanse people? Why is it also the work of perfecting people?” What is the relationship between cleansing people and perfecting people? Some people say that perfecting people happens at the same time as cleansing people. This is true and accurate. Cleansing people is the process of perfecting people and so it is indeed perfecting people. Why do I say this? What does the cleansing of people depend on? It depends on understanding the truth. What does understanding the truth mean? The truth is what God is and the revelation of God’s life disposition. If people truly understand the truth, they would see God’s disposition, God’s essence and what God’s life has and is in the words of God and be enlightened within: “Oh! What God has and is is within these words. I see God, I see God’s disposition and I see God’s holiness and righteousness from within these words.” This is what understanding the truth means. Is that not the case? Understanding the truth means to be clear about the truth which is the reality of positive things and God’s life essence. After understanding the truth, people will know God. This is the first outcome. The second outcome is that once they see God, they will find themselves to be intolerably filthy and corrupt and feel too ashamed to show their face. Are these outcomes achieved at the same time? Once you understand the truth, the truth like a mirror will reflect you and you will immediately see that you are nothing in the face of the truth and that you are intolerably filthy and so insignificant. The truth is so valuable, for the truth is the true light. Once one feels remorse after seeing that they are intolerably filthy in the face of the truth, they stop committing such sin. In their hearts they hate that kind of sin and hate such evil. Is this the process of being cleansed? After being cleansed, they have the words of God as their life and magnify the words of God in their hearts. If the words of God in their heart become their life and they can live out the reality of some positive things based on the words of God, have such people been perfected?

What is the relationship between being perfected and being cleansed? They are actually just two versions of the same thing. People who have been cleansed are people who have been perfected. If they haven’t been cleansed then they haven’t been perfected. This is because they haven’t gotten the truth. God’s perfecting of people is to let people attain the truth and the first outcome of attaining the truth is to be cleansed. The truth is the exact opposite to Satan’s fallacies. Once the truth has entered people, Satan’s fallacies flee. There is no place for them in people’s hearts. And in this way the truth reclaims people’s hearts that had been occupied by Satan. Once people have been occupied by the truth and it has become people’s lives, what do people live out? Not Satan’s corruption but the reality of the truth, is that not right? This is the process of being cleansed. So is the process of being cleansed the process of being perfected? What is the relationship between being perfected and being cleansed? These two outcomes are achieved simultaneously; they are just two versions of the same thing. God uses the truth to judge people and to cleanse people in His last days’ work and the final outcome is on the one hand the cleansing of people and on the other hand the perfecting of people. So are people who are cleansed and perfected saved? They are people who are saved. This is how God saves people, resolves their corruption and perfects them. Now you understand. Why is it that some people who have believed in God for ten to twenty years are not yet cleansed and are still filthy and corrupt, tell lies, follow the trends of the world, worship people in their hearts and do not have an obedient and God-fearing heart? They have not accepted the truth, nor pursued the truth, is that not so? If they have not pursued the truth then it is impossible for them to attain the truth. As the saying goes, “whatever one sows, that will he also reap.” Does one ever reap beans after sowing melon seeds? Everyone says no. So do people who have not pursued the truth, but only pursued fame and status ever attain the truth? Are there such cases? In the same way, there are not. So those who do not pursue the truth shall not attain the truth. It is not a word of a lie that what you reap depends upon how much effort you make and the price you pay for the truth.

Here God says: “[F]or you offend not a man, but God Himself.” These words are condemning. If people sin against God, it is difficult for them to escape God’s punishment. None of them can escape it; they will sooner or later die. If someone who truly loves the truth occasionally makes mistakes, they should quickly repent. When God sees that they are in pursuit of the truth and their humanity is quite good and that they sincerely repent, their sin against God shall be classed as a transgression which God can forgive. If God sees that someone is not good, but too arrogant and conceited and that they do not love the truth, then they will be forever eliminated by God after they sin against God once. Even if they try to repent, they are not sincere, so they will be done for.

As follows, God also says, “You may believe that you are judging a man, but the Spirit of God does not consider it that way.” If the Spirit of God does not think so, is what you think of use? It is not of use. Pastors and elders in religious circles think that they are judging a person, not God, but the Spirit of God does not think so. The Jewish chief priests, scribes and Pharisees also thought that Lord Jesus whom they judged, condemned and crucified was not God, nor the Messiah, but the Spirit of God did not think so. The Spirit of God thinks that His incarnate flesh represents Him and is Him and anyone who condemns His incarnate flesh is condemning the Spirit of God. The nature of this is not the same as that of condemning a person. Jewish people believed in Jehovah God and were loyal to Jehovah God. For two thousand years they had been in awe and obedient, but God did not care about this. Since they opposed God, God made them stateless for two thousand years. God has cast the people of Israel, who believed in Jehovah God in the Old Testament Age of Law, away to every nation. Some had been massacred and some were held in slavery. This was their punishment from God. How do you view this punishment? Was what they believed of any use? It was of no use. So condemning God incarnate is a great sin which directly offends God’s disposition. If you offend God’s disposition, you will be made to face all kinds of disaster, including complete annihilation. Do you understand?

God says, “You may believe that you are judging a man, but the Spirit of God does not consider it that way. Your disrespect of His flesh is equal to disrespecting Him.” Based on what should we measure people’s attitude toward God? For us, it is based on our attitude toward God incarnate and our attitude toward the words He utters. And for religious people and unbelievers, it is based on their attitude toward God incarnate. God has been incarnated. What is your attitude toward Him? Do you recognize Him? If you do not recognize Him, you will be eliminated. If you condemn or oppose Him, then you will be eliminated by disaster and God will not save you. God has tolerated mankind for six thousand years—the symbolic figure is six thousand. The end is now and new accounts and old accounts will be settled together. This is called waiting for an opportunity to settle accounts with people. Previously God was so tolerant of mankind because God had not yet incarnated again to do His last days’ work. Now God has incarnated and this era will be brought to an end through His incarnation. Based on mankind’s satanic nature, they will certainly oppose God incarnate and will thus be destroyed and die. Therefore, the era of God being incarnated again to do His work is the era of worldly destruction. Do you understand? So you will not survive if you do not obey and hold God incarnate in awe and veneration. No matter whether or not you understand the truth, you must have reason and must be very obedient. Some people do not say anything yet curse me in their hearts when I deal with them. Tell me, does God know it? Of course God knows it. If they do not say anything then that is not too serious; if they say it out then there will be trouble and they will be directly expelled by the church. If they do not say it then they will not be expelled, but the Spirit of God examines it and it illustrates that they have not been obedient and that they do not accept the dealing of God’s family. Tell me, is there a reason for me getting angry? Could I get angry for no reason? If there is no reason, then my anger would not come out. There is no love or hate without any cause or reason. There is always a reason for my anger, is that not so?

146-B-6

Let us continue with our fellowship. God says, “[B]ut the Spirit of God does not consider it that way. Your disrespect of His flesh is equal to disrespecting Him.” Do these words represent God’s disposition? Are these words the truth? All of the words of God are the truth. Some people do not understand, “Not respecting His flesh is equal to not respecting the Spirit of God. Is it really so serious?” Tell me, is it this serious? Everyone says it is. Why is it that no one dares to oppose and condemn the Spirit of God? Firstly, they cannot see or touch Him; secondly, they know that God has majesty and wrath and opposing the Spirit of God is a terrible thing. So in general, no one opposes or condemns the Spirit of God for nothing; even if there are some, they are a typical satanic demon. Is that not so? So how is people’s attitude toward God revealed? God has incarnated and people’s attitude toward God is revealed in how people treat God’s incarnate flesh. So whatever your attitude toward God’s incarnate flesh is your attitude toward God. This is not an exaggeration at all. It is entirely fitting and true. That is how it is. Your attitude toward God’s incarnate flesh is your attitude toward God and without God’s incarnate flesh, your attitude toward God cannot be revealed. When God is incarnated, your attitude toward God is revealed. For example, how are mankind’s attitude toward God and whether or not they welcome God’s coming revealed? When God is incarnated, God will see what your attitude toward God incarnate actually is. Some people say: “God incarnate wears the shell of an ordinary person and people cannot recognize Him!” You are not required to recognize His flesh. Is your attitude not revealed through whether or not you listen to, accept and obey these truths uttered by God incarnate? God incarnate utters many truths. If you listen to, accept and obey them then you are someone who obeys God, who can listen to, accept and obey the words of God. If you do not accept, but contradict, oppose and feel hatred for these truths that are uttered by God incarnate then is your attitude toward the words of God not revealed? God incarnate speaks to mankind in the human world. If mankind can oppose, condemn and betray His words then how will they be toward the words uttered by the Spirit of God in the spiritual world? Can they obey them? They cannot obey them. They may not dare publically condemn them but they cannot obey them. This attitude is the same as their attitude toward all the words uttered by God incarnate. For example, today the pastors and elders of the religious community all condemn the words and work of God incarnate. If these people are raised up to heaven and the Spirit of God speaks these words directly, will they condemn them? What will their attitude be? It will be the same, because God’s words will be the same. So why do we say that pastors and elders of the religious community oppose God? This is because even though there are extenuating circumstances for them not recognizing God incarnate, the words that He utters are the direct utterances of the Spirit of God and not spoken by man. Is their non-acceptance and condemnation of the words uttered by the Spirit of God because they have a grudge against God incarnate? Is it because they have prejudices about God incarnate that they do not accept these truths? They have not seen God incarnate and base their condemnation of Almighty God on His words and utterances, is that right? The nature of this is different. They have not seen Almighty God themselves and do not know Almighty God, so what are the grounds for their condemnation of Almighty God? It is based on the words spoken by Almighty God. They do not accept these words that Almighty God has uttered. They view them with disgust and fury and so they condemn and oppose them. This is how they condemn God. Is this not the truth? That is the case.

There are also many people who condemn me. Do they know me? They have not even seen my face. I have not stolen anything from them, nor have I ever cheated them, and I do not even know them, so why do they hate me? This hatred is not without rhyme or reason. Is it not because I serve and bear witness to Almighty God? Is it not because Almighty God uses me to do this work that they hate me? I convey my sermons to people publically. According to my sermons, who do I have private grudges against? I have not cursed any people, so why do they hate me? They hate me because I do this work, because I preach these sermons and because I serve God. So doesn’t their hatred oppose God? Isn’t it evil? Some people have another reason for hating me. They hate me because I deal with them. But why do the majority of people not hate me when I deal with them? Is it not right when I deal with them? Why do I deal with them? Can I deal with them if they do good? Can I deal with them if they do not disturb and interrupt the work of God’s family? I have never dealt with ordinary brothers and sisters. I deal with false leaders and antichrists. Also, I deal with other leaders and workers if they do something wrong. Do I deal with ordinary brothers and sisters? Do I deal with new believers? No. There are principles to my dealing with people. I do not blindly deal with people. It is always according to the words of God, is that not so?

Viewed from God’s point of view, “Your disrespect of His flesh is equal to disrespecting Him. This being so, have you not offended God’s disposition?” Offending God’s disposition is a serious matter. Some people say: “How come some people who have offended God’s disposition are fine?” How do you know they are fine? Do you dare determine that those people who have offended God’s disposition are fine? Can you see it if they are punished by God? Some people were previously very normal, but why do they suddenly become possessed? Why is it so? Some people were previously very zealous but now they have suffered a sudden decline and, like someone afflicted with a mental illness, become stupid and numb to a considerable degree. Why does this happen? This does not happen without rhyme nor reason. Some people are abandoned by the Spirit of God, and God does not do work in them. Some are even handed over to Satan. Some people have fallen into disaster ahead of time. Does God openly tell you those things? How do you know they are fine? Can you see it if God really does something? Now it is the time to reveal people. You see, some people suddenly meet with a mishap; some people suddenly become possessed, some people are suddenly involved in a car accident, some people suddenly get ill or encounter disasters. Tell me, why is this? These are all arranged by God and God does new things every day. It is wrong for you to not recognize it because you cannot see it, is that not so? If people do not pursue the truth, aren’t they in danger? They may be handed over to Satan, fall into the midst of disaster or fall ill at any time. They are in danger. Some people say, “I have offended God!” when they reflect upon a sudden trouble. They feel regret, but it is too late. They have already gone too far and cannot be saved. They should have repented and amended their ways as soon as they were aware of their offense against God, but they have not done so and have gone too far. God has eliminated them, and they have come to the end of their service. If you do not pursue the truth and do not obey when rendering service, then in the end you will know that you have been eliminated. When you know it, you will already be beyond salvation, like one in the terminal stage of cancer, is that not so? “This being so, have you not offended God’s disposition?” This is the case. If, after offending God’s disposition, you realize through reflection, “Ah, it really is an offense to God’s disposition,” you should quickly repent and amend your ways. Do not let it go carelessly. If you do this frequently, there will be trouble. One must learn how to consciously obey in everything. Some people say: “Brother, when you deal with me, I will immediately obey. If you deal with me now, I will obey once you have finished. If you hit me now, I will also obey.” Do you have such a mindset? If so, do some actual deeds to make other brothers and sisters see that you really are capable of obedience. No one will really hit you but being dealt with is a possibility. Other brothers and sisters may deal with you. The one who deals with you may not be me. Sometimes when other brothers and sisters deal with you it is also from the Holy Spirit. Can you be obedient in such situations? Whoever deals with you, as long as they do so in line with the truth and fact, should you obey them? If God uses an unbeliever to deal with you and to prune you, should you obey? You must obey them all. To be obedient is fundamental to being human. A person who is completely disobedient has no reason. Reason is mainly manifested in obedience, tolerance and love for brothers and sisters. It is also manifested in being an honest man. These are all fundamental to being human. If you do not have obedience toward God, the truth and God’s work then you are finished. Your failure to do so suffices to ruin you. The first principle for approaching people is to be honest and the second is love, which is essential. What is love? Love is tolerance, forgiveness and treating people with sincerity. Love is being able to be tolerant and patient, being able to not disturb others and not do things that disadvantage others. Love is being able to help and give charity to those who are facing difficulties. Love is being able to help people to seek the truth and support them when they have problems. The greatest love is to provide and help people in their life. The next is to give material help and charity. Love is not paying lip service, not mouthing sweet words, when things cannot actually be done. Love is doing practical things; it is principled, based on discernment and according to the words of God. What should one do to not offend God’s disposition? One cannot judge God’s incarnate flesh and more importantly cannot condemn, nor blaspheme nor belittle Christ. One must hold God in awe and veneration. This is most critical. If you do not understand then do not talk at random. If you talk at random so that the devil ridicules you, God will eliminate you, for you humiliate God. God will not recognize that you truly believe in Him. Is it not humiliating God to dare judge Him who you believe in? Who do you believe in? If you dare ridicule Christ, ridicule the God you believe in, can God recognize that you believe in Him? Since you oppose God, God does not recognize that you believe in Him. In His heart He feels disgusted, “This person does not believe in God. I do not know him. I am sick of him!” Then you are finished. Based on these words of God, even if you try hard for a lifetime, I fear you will never be able to redeem yourself. You see, a good impression is not easy to create, but a bad impression can be made anytime. Is this not the case?

Let us continue to read the words of God. “You must remember that all that is done by the Spirit of God is done in order to safeguard His work in the flesh.” This is the principle of the work of the Spirit of God—the Holy Spirit. Why does God become incarnated? What is the significance of God’s incarnation? To directly convey the utterance of God. But the words expressed by God alone will not suffice. Most importantly, God needs to make contact with people through incarnation to reveal them. If it is the Spirit of God speaking, He is unable to contact people and to reveal people and these two functions are lacking. Is that not right? So God must be incarnated. The work that God incarnate does is the work of the Holy Spirit. It is all the expression of the Holy Spirit. So what is the work of the Holy Spirit based on and what does it center around? Have these words of God made it clear? How does God say it? “[A]ll that is done by the Spirit of God is done in order to safeguard His work in the flesh.” Some people say: “Christ does not like me, but the Holy Spirit works in me. That is enough.” Are these words tenable? Are you trying to use these words to deceive fools? “[A]ll that is done by the Spirit of God is done in order to safeguard His work in the flesh.” The meaning of these words is that the principle of all that is done by the Spirit of God is to safeguard Christ’s work. What does safeguarding Christ’s work mean? It is that the Spirit of God will condemn, eliminate and punish anyone who opposes Christ and will enlighten, lead, guide and bless anyone who obeys Christ. Whoever Christ condemns, the Holy Spirit condemns and whoever Christ likes, the Holy Spirit likes. The Holy Spirit goes at the pace of Christ. He safeguards all the work that Christ does. Do you understand? All of the Holy Spirit’s work is to safeguard Christ’s work. So if you have a bad relationship with Christ and you say to yourself, “Christ does not like me, but the Holy Spirit works in me. That is enough,” then these words are foolish. Aren’t you deceiving yourself? Are these words tenable? You are just telling yourself reassuring words. This is untenable! Is there anyone who thinks like this?

Once there was a man who I told: “What you are doing will not do. It is problematic. You are not safeguarding the work of God’s family. I think you are engaged in malpractices and using your job for selfish ends and supporting your personal interests under the banner of safeguarding the work of God’s family.” I dealt with him and after my doing so, he immediately said, “The One I believe in is God!” I said: “What do you mean? You haven’t finished your words. What is the next sentence that you didn’t say? Say them out.” “The One I believe in is God” means “I do not believe in you, I do not listen to what you say, I just obey God.” This should be the sentence that he didn’t say, right? Why did he say one sentence, and not the next? He was afraid that I would understand him if he spoke it too clearly. But I could understand from him saying one sentence. What do the words, “The One I believe in is God” mean? They mean “I just obey God and I just listen to the words of God. I do not listen to people. Do not try to restrain me. It is useless for you to deal with me. Knock it off.” Is this what he means? Tell me, how would these words be judged by the Holy Spirit? How did Jehovah God dispose of people who opposed Moses? The Spirit of God did not speak directly, but gave Moses the authority to deal with them. When Moses said one word, the ground opened up and these people were sent to hell. The power of the words Moses spoke at that moment made the ground open up and those people directly fell into the hell. God directly gave Moses this authority to destroy them, making people see what would happen if they opposed Moses. Is what is done by the Spirit of God to safeguard His work? It is all to safeguard His work. So, it will not do for people to not hold God in awe and veneration and to not obey the truth.

146-B-7

Some people say: “Does being someone whom God uses means that everything you do is right? If you do something wrong, will the Holy Spirit support you?” If I do wrong, the Holy Spirit will certainly not support me but will discipline me. However, your opposition and condemnation are unallowable. If you do so, it means that you have no reason, and it will involve you in trouble. Are the words “what’s right or wrong has nothing to do with you” present in the words of God? What should you do then? You should just listen and obey. You may say, “I am afraid that my obedience is mistaken.” If your obedience is mistaken, God will not condemn you. But if you oppose, there will be trouble. Tell me, are there moments where your obedience is mistaken? Some people say there are not. How can there not be? Any man can make mistakes, so how can I not? In the part of the work, mistakes are not normally made, because it is guided and directed by the Holy Spirit. In the words of God, there are the words, “No one may stand in the place of the man testified to by God.” What do these words mean? Some people’s understanding is that the position of the man used by the Holy Spirit whom God testifies to cannot be taken by anyone except for the brother above. This understanding is correct. Sometimes I speak from the position of leadership. Is that classed as arrogant and conceited? Is that classed as standing in God’s position? This cannot be muddled up. There is a distinction here, is there not? Have you ever pondered what “[n]o one may stand in the place of the man testified to by God” means? If some people say: “I am someone whom the Holy Spirit uses too. I am someone whom God uses too,” does this count as going against these words of God? It does go against them. If God did not testify to them, no one is allowed to stand in this position, saying, “I am someone whom the Holy Spirit uses too.” Some antichrists say that they are people whom the Holy Spirit uses too. What mistake is made here? They take the position of the man whom God testifies to. Some people ask: “If someone truly has the work of the Holy Spirit in them, does it count as God using them?” It does not. Why not? Because God did not testify to them. Having the work of the Holy Spirit and being used by the Holy Spirit are two different things. What are the characteristics of the man used by the Holy Spirit? The man used by the Holy Spirit has some authority given to him by the Holy Spirit. He has the authority to make the decisions on affairs of God’s family, and deal with some particular people and matters. In addition, he has the Holy Spirit’s work, enlightenment and illumination constantly in him. What the Holy Spirit gives him is the highest enlightenment and illumination, so no one can outdo him. Do not muddle up these words by saying, “Can God incarnate outdo him?” It will not do for you to view God incarnate as a member of mankind. You cannot argue for argument’s sake. Of course the incarnate God’s illumination is the greatest, for God is the truth, the way and the life. Even if a corrupt man has been saved, that which he receives is just the Holy Spirit’s enlightenment and illumination. Why do I say that if you discover contradictions with the words of God in the words I have said then quickly discard my words? Christ is the truth and I as man am not the truth. Do you understand? There is a principle which you must grasp to obeying the man who God uses. What is this principle? Wherever there is a violation against or contradiction with the words of God in what I say, do or in how I view things, quickly point it out, and then discard and invalidate the words that I say and prioritize the words of God. Have you grasped this principle? Suppose you happen to find that the words I say are contradictory to the words of God. Then you say, “I will listen to what the man used by the Holy Spirit says, not God. This is a rare chance for me to go against His will by listening to the words of the man used by Him.” What is the problem with this? Your satanic disposition is revealed and this is troublesome. It proves that you do not obey God, but oppose God. Do you understand? You worship and follow a person, not God. This has shown your true colors. This is not a small problem. If some people worship me and listen to what I say for every issue and do not check it against the words of God and they persist in listening to my words instead of God’s words even after discovering that there are contradictions with the words of God in what I say, then what kind of person are they? The kind of person who opposes God. They transgress willfully. So there is a principle to obeying the man whom God uses. It is not a case of obeying and listening to absolutely everything said or done by him. Obedience to God should be absolute. One must listen to everything that God says and does, regardless of whether it is right or wrong according to their views. Do you understand?

Some people ask me: “Is everything that you do on behalf of God, on behalf of Christ?” What do you think? Any member of corrupt mankind cannot represent God, do you understand? What I say and do does not represent God. So do not listen if you think certain words that I say are not in line with the truth and the words of God and do listen to whatever words you think are in line with the truth and the words of God. If any of the words I say are not in line with the truth, will you obey? Supposing some of those amongst you are of mature stature and are certain that some words I have said are not in line with the words of God and the truth, will you obey them? You can choose not to obey. Remember, this is not wrong. If there is no right or wrong for what I say, should you obey? Let me give an example. If I say that major events will happen in 2017 or 2018, some people would start to wait, saying, “I won’t get married in these two years and I will not look for work.” And what would happen if nothing big has happened during these two years? They would think, “I was fooled! You deceived me. You must take responsibility. I cannot find a partner now. You must find a partner for me!” Does this count as a mistake? It does not. Why does it still not count as a mistake even though my words are not fulfilled or honored? People cannot predict this kind of thing and it does not count as a mistake. However, those who choose not to look for a partner would suffer no loss. If they really found a partner then their loss would be high. If you do not have a partner but have gained many truths, have you made a loss? You have made no loss. Then you should not pretend to have been mistreated after gaining a favor. I do not prevent those who are not in pursuit of the truth from looking for a partner. It is up to you, is it not? Did God’s family stipulate that no one is allowed to find a partner? Although God’s family communicates the truth, it leaves the choice with you. Whether or not you get married, get pregnant, nurse a baby or pursue the truth for salvation is your own choice, is it not? Do you understand? Is there a right and wrong in these matters? No, because there are some things that people cannot fathom. But everything I say is well-intended. It is all to let you pursue the truth, practice whole-heartedly, make the best use of your time, establish a foundation sooner and stand firm when you encounter disaster. Are these words spoken for your good? These words do not harm or deceive you. They are to enable you to pursue the truth as diligently as possible. Tell me, what are the consequences of there being civil unrest in China all of a sudden and disaster coming? Some people who find, “Oh but I do not have the truth yet, I do not yet have the life, I understand too little and I am too small in stature” will weep and regret. Is that not so? If all of a sudden disaster befalls, do you think your stature is OK? Will you be able to stand firm? You all say no. You know your limitations and that you are small in stature. If you encounter disaster now, is that a good thing for you? It is not a good thing. Is me saying that this year and next are really dangerous and that major events will happen advantageous for your pursuit of life? Even if you do not hope that the CCP will collapse quickly, you cannot stand firm in great disaster if your stature is too small. If your stature is too small then your revolting manners will be disclosed and you may do all kinds of ridiculous things. Is this not so?

146-B-8

Understanding the truth is so important. When people understand the truth they are able to see through Satan and forsake it. They will never again be taken in by Satan, do service for Satan and be entrapped by Satan. This is not a simple thing. There are some brothers and sisters who are captured by the great red dragon all of a sudden. The great red dragon interrogates and brainwashes them saying, “There are agents around the man whom the Holy Spirit uses now. We are now in negotiation with the United States and the US government has agreed to extradite all believers in Almighty God who have gone to the United States.” On hearing this they think, “Oh. Is it not over?” And they fall apart, thinking: “It is over. Then I will tell what I know. I will not believe.” So then they abandon their belief and they surrender to Satan. Having been brainwashed, some are released the next day and some are released the day after. Some people, however, are firm and unshakable, “Whatever happens, God is still the true God. Whatever happens, I won’t recant my faith in Him! If God is crucified on the cross I will still believe, because this is God’s will. If God is rejected by the whole era, He is still God and I will still believe! Whatever you say I must believe in God. I cannot shun God!” How is this view? Everyone says it is very good. Do such people have a foundation? Some people are small in stature and when Satan tells lies, they are stunned and say to themselves, “This is not God. His work does not succeed and He is extradited by the great red dragon, then what is the point in my believing? I will not believe at all.” The great red dragon goes on to lure them, saying, “If you do not believe in God any longer then we will offer a good job to you.” “OK then!” “We will arrange for you to make videos in Beijing or Shanghai.” “Okay. What’s the salary?” “It will certainly be higher than the average.” “Okay. I will do whatever you will ask me.” They become a Judas. What is the problem with this? They have not got the truth. They can be deceived and taken in by whatever Satan says, just like many who followed the Lord Jesus. When those followers saw the Lord Jesus crucified on the cross, they repudiated Him. “Is He still your Lord?” “No.” “Will you continue to follow Him?” “I will not.” They thought to themselves, “He has died on the cross. Why should I continue to follow Him? He is not the Lord.” They could not imagine that the Lord Jesus would rise again three days after He had died. “Oh, so bad. I repudiated and betrayed the Lord. There will be trouble. Now He resurrects. Why did I never imagine that He could resurrect? He really is God!” Was it too late for regret? Regret was of no use. Some people always see things according to their notions and imagination. As soon as extradition is mentioned they are afraid, “If He is captured and dead, then He is not God. I will not believe.” They are such a fool. Even if He is dead, He is still God, for He can rise again after death and can ascend to heaven. Isn’t He God? He is even more so God. He is more acceptable by people than His incarnate, is that not so? If something like this happens that does not conform to your notions and imagination, will you still believe? When some people see this happen, they will not believe any longer. If you no longer believe then God will strike your name off the list, which means that you have been revealed and eliminated. When He rises again and ascends to heaven, then you will weep. “If I had known it beforehand, I would have followed Him. I would rather die than not admit Him!” Saying such words is of no use, for you have already failed. Your betrayal of God has been witnessed by Satan. If God were to rapture you into the kingdom of heaven, Satan would accuse you and say that God is not righteous, “This person has betrayed You. Why do You still rapture him?” So God will not do such things. You have let Satan have things on you, is that not so? God is righteous in what He does. God blessed Abraham because he had testimony. He offered his only son Isaac. Who could not admire and be convinced by such testimony? So when God blessed him, even Satan dared not to oppose and was ashamed. When God blessed Job, Satan was also ashamed. Similarly, the overcomers made complete by God in the last days, who will be taken into the kingdom of heaven, must have testimonies. Those people who deny and oppose God and have even judged God cannot enter the kingdom of heaven, or at least cannot be pillars or priests in the kingdom of heaven because they have judged God. So how can these issues and problems be resolved? Does it all depend on the pursuit of the truth? By not pursuing the truth, it is possible that you may betray God at any moment. You may betray Him when you face something. You may have notions against God when you are faced with something. Also, when something happens, you may doubt God and then deny God, which equates to you throwing your blessings away. The great red dragon brainwashes some believers by telling some lies and they no longer believe. Such people who have no truth at all have been exposed. Amongst those who have been caught, only a small proportion may stand firm, and the majority may not stand firm. It is difficult to say what the ending will be for those who do not stand firm. If God allowed those without testimony to remain and took them into the kingdom of heaven, then Satan would accuse them. So what do these words of God tell us? To earnestly pursue the truth. What does the pursuit of the truth mean specifically? To know God’s disposition. Only by knowing God’s disposition can one avoid transgressing against God’s administrative decrees. As a believer in God, if you do not transgress against God’s administrative decrees for a lifetime, you are not someone who betrays God but someone who obeys God, and you will be eligible to remain and be raptured into the kingdom of heaven.

As follows, God says: “For you have provoked the wrath of God, and so He shall use fitting punishment to teach you a lesson.” Some people say: “Is God’s disposition really like this?” Tell me, is this so? What fitting punishment or discipline have you received? Can you give examples which prove that God’s disposition really is like this? Tell me, does God act like this to unbelievers too? God acts like this to all the countries, ethnic groups or individuals, including leaders and emperors. If an emperor does not worship God and does evil, does God bestow disaster upon him? China has always been a place where the devil has been in power, so disasters have constantly befallen it over the last five thousand years, especially over the last three thousand years. There have been constant wars, sufferings and natural disasters. There have been all kinds of disasters—sometimes droughts, sometimes flooding and sometimes earthquakes. This proves that God wishes to use fitting punishment to teach people a lesson. The same is true for both unbelievers and His chosen people. This is God’s disposition. What do people often say? “Woe is for man who does evil.” When people have done bad things, the disaster comes after their conscienceless celebration: Some are knocked down dead by a car, some lose money, and some provoke someone and get punched. They encounter the relevant punishment. If you eat and drink to extravagance because you have money, you will get ill sooner or later and die. If you are promiscuous you will sooner or later die and bring disgrace and ruin upon yourself. Some people wallow in degeneration and in the end become ill. There is retribution for everything. Karmic retribution is summed up by unbelievers who do not know God from what God does and the law of things, is it not? Is God’s disposition easy to be known? There are many people who have a little knowledge of God’s disposition and who know that it really is so from what God does to unbelievers. When you experience more and find even more proof, then you will have understood this truth. If people truly love God, and do things for God in good faith, then they are guaranteed God’s blessing. They are blessed by God due to their attitude, and all that they do is protected by God. When people truly do things for God, God knows their hearts and what He wants is man’s true heart. There are some people whose alms, help and offerings are given in good faith, but have they seen God? No. They have not seen Christ. How many can see Christ? But yet whenever they read the words of God, they say, “This is God!” Every day they listen to the words of God and read the words of God. Gradually, they develop a heart that reveres God and are willing to satisfy God and do things for God. The things that such people do are examined by God and accepted by God, and they are blessed by God. They devoutly love and obey God and do not speak of personal reasons. They feel that one should obey God and that it is right and proper. They obey all that God says. Let me give an example. If God tells you to plant a tree upside down and you say: “That’s not right. That does not conform to the rules. I cannot obey this,” is this right? Everyone says it is not right. So what should you do? If God tells you to plant the tree upside down then you plant the tree upside down, although it takes effort to put a tree upside down and other people have to help. Is it easy for you to put the tree upside down with the roots at the top? It is not easy. You have to use tools and electric equipment to put it upside down and earth it up. In fact, when you do this, God would say: “There is no need. I know you are obedient. I was just testing you.” If you do not do it this way, it means that you do not obey. If you do so, even though you are blocked by God afterward, this shows that you are obedient. So at any time, you must not argue and care about whether something is right or wrong. For example, God says: “Let’s bring umbrellas. Today it will rain.” But after you bring an umbrella, it does not rain. Then, you may think: “You see, God did not say the right thing. He told us to bring umbrellas and it did not rain.” Do not care about whether it has rained or not. You heart that obeys God is precious. God cares about your heart! If you can obey then such a heart is precious, but why is it precious? You do not debate the right and wrong of this matter. The most valuable thing is your obedience to God—you can still obey despite knowing that what God says does not accord with your views. Such a heart of yours is exactly what God wants. This is the reality of obedience. If God says, “Go drink some water from this ditch,” some people will argue, “I am a clean man. I do not drink ditch water. I only drink tap water or mineral water.” Then God says, “If you won’t drink it then I’ll see whether others will. Who will drink from this ditch?” Some other people upon hearing this say, “I will drink it. If God told me to drink urine I would!” And they go and drink it. Their drinking of the water well proves that they are obeying God. If other people say, “The ditch water is poisonous and polluted. You can become ill from it,” they would reply, “I drink it for the sake of obeying God. I am willing to risk illness and even if I get ill I will obey God!” Are they someone who obeys God? If God tests you several times, and you would rather die than not obey God, that is fine. How can you fall ill? God only needs to say a few words and you won’t fall ill at all. What cannot be done with a few of God’s words? God tests people’s hearts. If you do not obey God, even if you eat the cleanest things, God may make you become ill. If it is predestined that you will die from an illness then no matter how well you take care of your health, you will still become ill. If God wants to bless you, even if you drink dirty water every day, you will not get ill. Is this not all because of God? This is all fate. Is it not?

What is absolute obedience? It primarily refers to obeying God in everything whether it be right or wrong according to people’s judgment. For example, suppose God says, “Kill your son and offer him up to Me.” If you think, “God asks me to kill my own son? By asking me to kill my son and offer him to God as a sacrifice, is He not asking me to be a murderer? This does not conform to the truth, so I will not listen,” then that is trouble and you have failed. God is testing you by this. He is not asking you to truly kill your son. Was this not the case when God tested Abraham? So in obeying God, do not use your notions and imagination to judge whether God is right or wrong. You are making a mistake if you make judgment. Whenever you judge, you disobey and betray God. This is a terrible thing, so do not judge whether it is right or wrong. Abraham did not judge but obeyed, thinking, “Ask me to offer up my son? This is the son whom God gave to me and now God wants him back. The Lord of creation has the authority and I will absolutely obey.” Before the raised knife fell, God sent a messenger to speak, “Stop!” Look, God was watching there. God was not asking him to really kill, He was just testing him. Is that not so? Sometimes when God acts, is it not in this nature? It is imperceptible to people, is it not? People are foolish and cannot fathom it. As a result, they argue. When God sees this He would say, “They are nothing in stature, so they argue groundlessly.” God is all-knowing and God is the truth. What does God not know? God knows clearly what notions and imagination people have on what He does. It is because they are not obedient that they argue groundlessly. Is it right to use people’s notions and imagination to judge what God does? Whoever judges fails and is finished. Those who make judgment are disobedient. Is that not the case? Suppose God says something like, “You will die,” and some people take it this way, “Oh! God lets me die, so I should die.” Then they really commit suicide. Does this count as being wrong? It does not count as being wrong. Why not? By saying these words God does not mean that they really should die. The meaning of “You will die” is “You are a worthless wretch.” They misunderstand God’s words. They think God is letting them die. Although they misunderstand, what does it prove that they commit suicide? Despite their poor ability to understand, these people are truly obedient to God and if God says to let them die, they are capable of obeying. They are someone who truly obeys God. Are there many people who obey God like this? Most people cannot achieve this.
