12 God Has Brought His Glory to the East

Verse 1

God gave Israel His glory, took it away,

then brought the Israelites and all mankind to the East

to reunite with the light, relate to it,

so they no longer have to go and search for it.

Verse 2

God will let all who are searching see the light again,

see His glory in Israel, all His glory,

see He’s come down upon a white cloud in the midst of man,

see the fruits in abundant clusters and countless white clouds.

Chorus

He does this so all will know

God’s taken His glory from Judea long ago

and brought it to the East.

For the last days have already come,

the last days have already come,

the last days have already come!

Verse 3

God will let all who are searching see Jehovah, God of Israel,

see the Master of the Jews, the longed-for Messiah.

It’s the full appearance of God who’s persecuted

by the kings throughout the ages they will see.

Verse 4

God will work on the whole universe, He will do great work,

reveal all His glory and deeds to man in the last days.

Chorus

He does this so all will know

God’s taken His glory from Judea long ago

and brought it to the East.

For the last days have already come,

the last days have already come,

the last days have already come!

Bridge

He’ll show His glorious countenance in its fullness

to those who’ve waited many years for Him,

who’ve longed for Him to come on a white cloud,

to Israel that’s longed for Him to reappear,

and to all mankind who persecute Him.

Chorus

He does this so all will know

God’s taken His glory from Judea long ago

and brought it to the East.

For the last days have already come,

the last days have already come,

the last days have already come, have already come!
