17 The Significance of the Appearance of God

Intro

God’s appearance signifies

His arrival on earth to do His work.

With His own identity, disposition, method,

He comes to initiate and end an age.

Verse 1

His appearance isn’t a ceremony,

or a sign, picture, miracle or grand vision,

much less a religious process,

but a real fact that can be touched and seen.

Verse 2

It’s not for going through the motions

or for a short-term undertaking,

but is instead for a stage of work

in His management plan.

Chorus

This work starts a new age and ends the old one.

It’s an improved form of work for man’s salvation.

It brings man into a whole new age.

This is the significance of God’s appearance.

Verse 3

God’s appearance is always meaningful

and connected to His management plan.

It’s different from His appearance

when He guides and leads and enlightens man.

Chorus

This work starts a new age and ends the old one.

It’s an improved form of work for man’s salvation.

It brings man into a whole new age.

This is the significance of God’s appearance.

Bridge

God carries out a stage of His great work

each time He reveals Himself.

It differs from His works in other ages.

It’s undreamed of, a new experience for man.

Chorus

This work starts a new age and ends the old one.

It’s an improved form of work for man’s salvation.

It brings man into a whole new age.

This is the significance of God’s appearance.

This work starts a new age and ends the old one.

It’s an improved form of work for man’s salvation.

It brings man into a whole new age.

This is the significance of God’s appearance.
