How to Stand Witness Amidst Disasters and Trials
The Minimum Conditions That Should Be Possessed by Someone Who Will Be Saved and Made Perfect
During disasters and trials, those people who will be saved and made perfect can be revealed, allowing others to see them bear resounding and magnificent witness for God. People who will be saved and made perfect possess at least five conditions. First, no matter how terrible their surroundings, they persist in eating and drinking God’s words, they persist in communicating the truth with their brothers and sisters, attaining an understanding of the truth and entering into reality. Second, no matter how terrible their surroundings, they persist in living a church life; at least two or three people eat and drink God’s words together, exchange their knowledge of experiences with each other, help and support each other, and carry out assistance, watering and supply for those who are not clear on the truth, as well as perform their own responsibilities. Third, no matter the surroundings, they persist in doing their own duties to the best of their abilities. For example, they bring before God all those around them, the people they can reach, and those who are able to accept the gospel, and they persist in spreading the gospel and bearing witness for God. They often call on, water, and support those weak brothers and sisters, those brothers and sisters new to the faith. They also save and offer protection to those brothers and sisters who are in danger, who are easily deceived, or those brothers and sisters who have already been deceived. Fourth, if they discover a false Christ, an antichrist, or evil people who have appeared to deceive and disturb God’s chosen people, they will stand up and expose and fight against every kind of false Christ, antichrist, and evil person in order to protect God’s chosen people. In order to protect God’s chosen people, making them eat and drink God’s words as normal, they perform their own responsibilities. Fifth, if they discover subpar humanity of any leader or worker, and that person is revealed to be lacking the work of the Holy Spirit, they can limit that person’s misconduct. They can allow brothers and sisters to have discernment, not be fooled by false shepherds and false workers, and refuse their leadership. If people are able to fulfill such a responsibility, they have really achieved the outcome of protecting God’s chosen people; this is a person loyal to God, and this is a magnificent witness. If one possesses these five standards amidst disasters and trials, then this kind of person is someone who stands witness, and someone who is faithful to God. The more this kind of person faces trials and refinement, the more faithful they are to God. No matter how awful the surroundings, no matter how great the persecution, they continue to eat and drink God’s words as usual, ceaselessly communicating the truth, and are still able to gain the work of the Holy Spirit by approaching God and praying to God. Thus, amidst all kinds of disasters and trials, all those who from beginning to end eat and drink God’s words and pursue the truth are people who have had the work of the Holy Spirit in them all along. Having God by their side brings them comfort. These kinds of people are those who will be saved, and are those who will remain. Every person should be able to distinguish this. Some people have the work of the Holy Spirit amidst disasters and trials and have the enlightenment and illumination of the Holy Spirit when communicating the truth, bringing enjoyment to those who listen; the more they face disasters and trials, the more they feel that their own responsibilities are great and the more they persist in doing their duty to satisfy God. They enact the ultimate devotion for God; these people are all those who will be saved. This is proven by the facts. As for all those who stand witness amidst disasters and trials, other brothers and sisters ought to come close to them, and they should water each other, supply each other, and support each other, join hands and do their duty, come together and serve, and not be apart. If an evil person is discovered, no matter whether he used to be a leader or a worker, if he doesn’t have the work of the Holy Spirit now and he engages in misconduct, what should be done? Without a doubt, he should be rejected. At this time, people should not have emotionality or rely on their own imagination, because those who do not have the work of the Holy Spirit are ones who are eliminated by the Holy Spirit, and they are detested by God. These are certainly not people who pursue the truth, because God is righteous, and God does not make mistakes. Amidst disasters and trials, why would people not have the work of the Holy Spirit? Without a doubt, they are definitely not someone who pursues the truth, they are definitely not utterly faithful to God, and they are not someone who is loyal to God. Thus, God exposes them, and does this through their lack of the work of the Holy Spirit. When coming into contact with someone who does not have the work of the Holy Spirit, what do people feel? Do you know? They feel that they are especially disagreeable, that they don’t seem like a brother or sister, and that they are particularly dissolute and unconstrained, the same as an unbeliever. So for these kinds of people, they should be kept away from and rejected. You cannot rely on emotionality, for God does not make mistakes. In order to stand witness amidst disasters and trials, the main thing is that one must adhere to these five principles and standards of practice.
The Several Kinds of People Eliminated Amidst the Great Disasters and Trials
There are mainly five kinds of people who will be eliminated amidst the great disasters and trials. One kind is those who have all kinds of work of evil spirits, including those false Christs who deceive people. The second kind is antichrists. What is an antichrist? Precisely speaking, it is one who always wants to control and ensnare God’s chosen people, who lays their own turfs in opposition to God; this kind of person is an antichrist. There have been some events previously in God’s house where some antichrists have emerged to deceive people. An antichrist will not say that he is Christ, nor will he say that he is sent by God. He simply believes that he has the truth. Often, all those people who spread it around that “The man used by the Holy Spirit is also corrupted and his work also has impurities of man’s will” are all antichrists; what is their intention in spreading such words? It is to make God’s chosen people not listen to the man used by the Holy Spirit and not obey the leadership of the man used by the Holy Spirit. The unspoken implication is to make people listen to them and accept their leadership. These kinds of people are antichrists, because they make people listen to them, they make people not accept the leadership of the man used by the Holy Spirit. They are laying their own turfs. Nominally they believe in Almighty God, but make people listen to them. This is called laying their own turfs. All those who want to lay their own turfs are antichrists. What is the difference between antichrists and false Christs? Since false Christs have the work of evil spirits, they will say that they are Christ, they are sent by God, they have come to do new work, they have the Holy Spirit living inside of them, and they are God’s appearance. They dare to impersonate Christ. Only those who dare to impersonate Christ are false Christs, because they do not have the essence of God’s divinity and inside they have only the work of evil spirits. Only this kind of person is an authentic false Christ. Why do we not say that antichrists are false Christs? Because they do not impersonate Christ, they do not say they are Christ, they only antagonize the man used by the Holy Spirit, and spread some fallacies, saying “The man used by the Holy Spirit is also corrupted. His work also has impurities of man’s will. We cannot listen to them, we should listen to God.” Actually the unspoken implication is to make people listen to them, and make people obey them. They want to lay their own turfs. This kind of person is called an antichrist. Some people cannot distinguish between them, calling false Christs antichrists, and calling antichrists false Christs. This is incorrect, and they are a little muddled. There is another kind of people, the people of three falsehoods who are also revealed and eliminated during disasters and trials. What are three falsehoods? False shepherds, false apostles, and false workers; these are called the people of three falsehoods. These kinds of people have in the past been promoted as leaders, workers or apostles. Apostles generally refer to those people who walk within the church; leaders are ones who lead at all levels in the church; workers are those people who coordinate the work of the leaders. How are these three falsehoods exposed? In the past it was often said, if all those who are leaders and workers do not have the work of the Holy Spirit, then they are false; they are false apostles, false shepherds, false workers. Why would they not have the work of the Holy Spirit? This kind of person is definitely not one who pursues the truth, so they are exposed by the Holy Spirit; the Holy Spirit has forsaken them. So how can this person become a leader? How can they be promoted as a worker? Individual leaders cannot see through them; they can disguise themselves. Perhaps they also abandon their family, perhaps they also do their duty very energetically and very actively. At the time, because people were not so clear about the truth, they saw that outwardly they were very enthusiastic, very good. So they elect them. In fact, they are very cunning inside, they are not someone who pursues the truth. Perhaps they like to pursue fame and fortune, or place importance on vanity. Only because they could speak letters and doctrines, and were especially good at dealing with people, were they mistakenly elected. What happened after they were elected? Because they had no real repentance, all along they could not pursue the truth, thus the Holy Spirit eliminated them. How did the Holy Spirit eliminate them? The Holy Spirit forsook them. As soon as the Holy Spirit forsook them, the Holy Spirit wanted to make use of all kinds of surroundings to expose them and to let everyone see; “Ah! They don’t have the work of the Holy Spirit!” If someone does not have the work of the Holy Spirit, all that they do seems unsuitable. The more you look at what they do, the more it appears as though they do not understand the spirit. All they do seems unreasonable, and problems tend to emerge. They have no wisdom at all, it is just not right. This kind of person is someone without the work of the Holy Spirit. Someone who doesn’t have the work of the Holy Spirit will look at any issues incorrectly, most prone to prejudice and absurdity, most prone to arbitrary recklessness. Regarding the exposed false leader, false apostle and false worker, how exactly should we see them? First, they cannot communicate the truth; every time they communicate, all they speak is the outer husk, it is all letters and doctrines, it all sounds good, yet it doesn’t have a bit of reality. The things that are communicated make people listen but not have the path of entrance or principles of practice, and everything is superficial. This is clear. They do not have the truth or reality. What’s more, there is also another kind of manifestation. That is, they do not communicate the reality of truth. When communicating, as soon as they see that there are some people present who understand the truth, then they do not dare to communicate the truth and they avoid it. Only with those people who do not understand a bit of the truth do they speak some letters and doctrines to confuse them. Now are these people easily distinguishable? Among the flock, if you saw a sheep that never ate grass, what would be the problem? This is most certainly a false sheep, wearing a sheep’s skin. When it comes to sheep, we can easily distinguish. When it comes to people, who do not eat and drink God’s words and cannot communicate the truth, this is the greatest and most obvious evidence that they do not have the work of the Holy Spirit. If they are new believers, having believed for one year or so, then communicating some letters and doctrines is a normal phenomenon, because after believing for one year one cannot understand the truth. If they have believed for many years, listened to many sermons, still don’t truly know or have a path of practice, and still don’t even slightly grasp the essence of truth, what is the problem with this? This problem is obvious. It is either that they don’t have the work of the Holy Spirit or that they don’t understand the spirit and their calibers are inadequate. No matter what reason it is, as long as they don’t have the work of the Holy Spirit, this proves that they are a person who does not possess the reality of truth. They are not suited to be a leader or a worker. Do you understand? If among all levels of leaders and workers of the church, some do not communicate the truth very well, but that is because the time of their belief in God is short, and they are really pursuing hard, doing very well some duties that are suitable for them, unable to be a leader, unable to communicate the truth, and doing their duty obediently and docilely, then this kind of person is someone who still has hope of being saved. This kind of person should be helped and supported to allow them to enter the truth. If they do not have the work of the Holy Spirit, who also act blindly and recklessly without a bit of obedience, always wanting to talk to people, always wanting to control people, ensnare people, then this is an exposed false apostle, false leader, false worker. God’s chosen people should reject this kind of person, should refuse and restrict their leadership. This is absolutely unmistakable, and completely conforming to God’s intention. There is another kind of people, the non-believers. This kind of person does not eat and drink God’s words amidst great disasters, perhaps because they are afraid of their surroundings, or because they do not love the truth. In sum, they do not eat and drink God’s words from start to finish, and they do not do their duty. This kind of person belongs to the non-believers. When people come into contact with this kind of person, they always have a kind of feeling, “Why is it that you never fit in with us? Why is it that you are never of one heart with us? You are different to us, and you don’t fit in, you have the flavor of an unbeliever. When I have contact with you and talk to you, it seems a little awkward, a little strange.” This suffices to show that they are non-believers, they do not have a common language with us who believe, especially with those who pursue the truth. When they do things, they also don’t fit in. So how should this kind of non-believer be treated? If you were a leader, if you were a worker, should you put effort into this kind of person? Putting effort into this kind of person is no use. Outwardly they say, “I’m willing to pursue, communicate it to me.” Afterward, they return home and as usual do not eat and drink God’s words. The effort was for nothing. So what kind of weak, passive person is worth putting effort into? It is this kind of person who persists in eating and drinking God’s words, who does honest work. No matter how poor their caliber is, they do honest work. When they meet brothers and sisters, they say: “Ah! My caliber is poor. Can you give me some help? Communicate a little with me. I have encountered something, but I don’t know how to see it and I don’t know how to carry it out.” They strive forward. This kind of person is worth helping. If they don’t strive forward, then when they meet with you, they talk all about matters of the unbelievers and words of the unbelievers, they gossip about outside matters, they do not discuss a bit about belief in God, or pursuit of the truth, or entry of life. Is this not a non-believer? This kind of person is a non-believer. You do not have to exert effort on them, and it is no use. They come, deal with them and then the issue is finished. You do not need to offend them, not to mention any rejection. If they do not come, let it go. If you have responsibility within the church and are willing to do your duty, you should know upon which people to make an effort, for whom to carry out help, whom to supply, whom to water, and whom to protect. There are some people who do not pursue the truth; they always like to watch for miracles, paying attention to the supernatural work of the spirit. As soon as they hear someone say there is some new, fresh matters in a certain place, that God has sent some person to do new work, that Christ has appeared and spoken again, and that the Holy Spirit has again spoken and given revelation, then they have energy and pay close attention to these things. This kind of person is the most easily deceived. When false Christs, antichrists, and evil people rise to deceive people, they will follow them and become their accomplices. Of these people, most are people who don’t understand the spirit, absurd people, people who only pay attention to miracles, or they are people who most like to accept the work of evil spirits, who most like supernaturalness. Remember, this type of person is not someone who pursues the truth. You communicate the truth, and they will not understand no matter how they listen. As soon as there is the work of evil spirits, as soon as there is a false Christ deceiving people, as soon as there is an antichrist disturbing people, they will rise immediately to answer, cooperate, follow, and act as an accomplice. These people are seemingly born and destined to be the tools of Satan. So how should this kind of person be treated? Should this kind of person be rescued and helped? These people are all absurd people who don’t understand the spirit, and to help them is no use. If among them there is one whose humanity is relatively good, who can do some small favors for God’s house and take care of some minor affairs, although he is far from doing his duty, he should also be protected. You can have a helper by your side, but he must have a good humanity, and be an honest and reliable person. If he is very cunning and is capable of doing anything, if you find this person to help in God’s family, is this not troublesome? There is also another kind of person who is eliminated during disasters and trials, that is, evil people. What is an evil person? Evil people are people in the church who do not have the work of the Holy Spirit. They do not have the work of the Holy Spirit, and they always want to hold position and control God’s chosen people. Evil people are always reckless and mischievous within the church; they harbor personal intentions. Some to get status, some to get money, some to act mischievously, to bully the men and seize the women. These are called evil people. Amidst great disasters and trials, these five main kinds of people are exposed and eliminated objects. Every one of God’s chosen people must be able to distinguish them. If you cannot distinguish these five kinds of people, then although you often eat and drink God’s words, since the time of your belief in God is short, your experience too little, you have never experienced any kind of work of evil spirits, and you cannot distinguish, you are easily deceived and fooled.
Now do you know what a false Christ is? False Christs are people pretending to be Christ. They say that they are Christ, that they have been sent by God, that they are Christ, the Son of God, that they have God’s Spirit within them, and that they are here now to carry out new work. They are pretending to be Christ, they actually do not have any substance of divinity, and they are false Christs. Now, if they aren’t pretending to be Christ, yet are always trying to deceive people, are they false Christs? No. They do not pretend to be Christ, yet try to deceive people. Some of them have the work of evil spirits, and some are false prophets or antichrists. All those that do not have the truth, that always want to speak, always want to do work, always want to rope people in and control people, are those who deceive people. False Christs also deceive people, but because they pretend to be Christ yet do not have Christ’s substance of divinity, we say that they are false Christs. What then is an antichrist? An antichrist always judges and casts doubt upon Christ, deceives people and makes them deny and leave Christ. He wants to bring all those who believe in God under his own thumb, to control them, and then to lay their own turf, making people listen to him, preventing people from listening to God. This kind of person is an antichrist. What are the differences between an antichrist and a false Christ? A false Christ has the work of evil spirits in him. He pretends to be Christ to deceive people, he passes himself off as Christ to make people believe in him and follow him. Because he does not have the substance of divinity, we class him as a false Christ, a fake, a forgery. False Christs generally all have the work of evil spirits; only this could result in daring to pretend to be Christ. An antichrist does not necessarily have the work of evil spirits, and perhaps is born as the devil reincarnate. He is not a good thing, he is a human without humanity. Because an antichrist does not necessarily have the work of evil spirits, he does not dare to pretend to be Christ, he does not dare to say that he is Christ, has God’s Spirit within, or that he can express God’s words. He does not dare to say such things. The average antichrist does not dare openly deny or condemn Christ, because he fears that once he does, people will abandon him. Thus, on the surface he says that he believes in Almighty God, but then turns and attacks the man used by the Holy Spirit, making him the object of his attack. He makes people suspicious of the man used by the Holy Spirit, and makes people abandon him. For example, he says “The man used by the Holy Spirit is also corrupted by Satan, his work is also adulterated by man’s will.” By this he means to make people stop listening to the man used by the Holy Spirit, and instead listen only to him, to make people refuse the words and reject the leadership of the man used by the Holy Spirit, because he wants to hold power alone. This kind of person is an antichrist. Antichrists mainly do not acknowledge God incarnate, and simply cannot believe that God is incarnated in the flesh and comes among the people. No matter how much truth He expresses, antichrists will not acknowledge or accept any who comes and carries out work as the Son of man. This kind of person is an antichrist. All people who condemn Christ’s work in the last days, who deny that Christ is God incarnate, and who do not accept all the truths expressed by Christ in the last days are antichrists. It can be explained as such; this definition is the most correct. But there are also two kinds of antichrists. The antichrist in religious communities is public, but the antichrist hiding in God’s house is concealed. The antichrist concealed in God’s house is a hypocrite, because although he appears to believe in Almighty God, all he does is to resist God, to deceive people into doubting God, to disrupt and disturb Almighty God’s work, and to rope in God’s chosen people and hold power alone, to make people believe in him and follow him. The antichrists in the religious world and the antichrists concealed in God’s house are not the same. Antichrists in the religious world publicly condemn, deny, and resist Christ. Religious pastors and leaders at all levels in religious communities, the inner pillars of the religious world, are all public antichrists. Do you know the behaviors of a public antichrist? They openly resist God, deny God, condemn God’s work, saying Almighty God’s work is an evil cult and laying all manner of charges. Such people are all antichrists. What is the most accurate definition of antichrists? Antichrists do not acknowledge God incarnate, they do not acknowledge there is such a thing as God’s incarnation, they only acknowledge that Jesus was once incarnated in the flesh. That is something they have no choice but to acknowledge, for if they did not acknowledge that, believers would abandon them even more. So, those who do not acknowledge God becoming flesh to carry out His work among man are all antichrists. If these antichrists were able to be around at the time that the Lord Jesus was carrying out His work on earth, do you think that they would have been able to accept Him? Of course not! If those people now in religious communities were around at the time that the Lord Jesus was carrying out His work, 90% of them would not believe in Him. Remember this. It is absolute. So, what kind of people will ultimately be saved? It is those who believe in God incarnate, those who accept the work and the words of the Son of man incarnate. These are the people who have the truest faith in God, and any among them who truly seek the truth shall be saved and perfected. It doesn’t matter how low their status is. God will lift the needy from the dunghill, for God is righteous! The antichrists in the religious community do not acknowledge God incarnate. They think that anything that bears witness to God incarnate carrying out work among people is an evil cult or a heresy. Anyone who thinks in this way is an antichrist. Because antichrists do not acknowledge God incarnate, they are like the Jewish chief priests and elders who did not acknowledge Jesus. Therefore, these religious leaders are all antichrists, they are all nonbelievers. In the eyes of God, they are people who do not believe in Him. Is this an appropriate argument to make? It is 100% correct! Antichrists, accurately speaking, are non-believers. Who does an antichrist believe in? Himself. He thinks that he is truth, and that he can lead and save people. In fact, he believes in himself, and he does not believe in God. This is the most corrupt, most arrogant, and most shameful aspect of antichrists. Antichrists and false Christs must be accurately discerned. You must not call a false Christ an antichrist, nor should you call an antichrist a false Christ.
Below, we discuss what is an evildoer. An evildoer is someone who detests the truth. He does not love the truth, but detests it. Why does an evildoer detest the truth? Because he likes wickedness, he likes wealth, benefits, and worldly things, and he craves fleshly pleasures. Therefore, evildoers are capable of any evil deed. Evil people do not love the truth. Do they have a heart that fears God? Not in the slightest. So they dare to do any evil deed. Evildoers also do not have true belief in God and do not believe that God repays each person according to his conduct. They do not believe that good is rewarded with good and evil with evil, so they are capable of any evil deed. This is an evildoer. An evildoer easily commits wicked acts, and he does not pursue the truth, or if he does, he is content to stop at understanding letters and doctrines. He thinks that understanding letters and doctrines means he understands everything. Actually, he doesn’t understand the truth, though, he merely knows some letters and doctrines, which he is able to speak, but is entirely unable to practice. So evil people cannot be trusted, whatever they do is not reliable, they do not do honest work; this is an evil person. If someone violates the interests of an evildoer, he will have hatred toward that person, he will take revenge and scheme against them, even going so far as to murder for money in order to achieve his own goals. This is an evildoer. An evildoer has no conscience or reason. What sentence could be used to describe him? An evildoer is a wild beast, with a brutish nature. Even those who are good to him are inadequate. You may be ninety-nine parts good and one bad, and he will be angry. This is an evildoer. Evildoers have crept into God’s house. Some want to gain blessings with intentions of getting blessings, and this is certain, but others have personal goals, with some desiring status, and some hoping to extract profits from their brothers and sisters. In sum, they do not love the truth, and they do not seek to live out a true life. Such people, regardless of whether they seek status or money, may do any wicked deed at any time and any place. What are the differences between evildoers and antichrists? Antichrists are people who do evil, just as evildoers do evil, but an antichrist’s evil is more harmful than that of an average evildoer, because he can deceive people and entrap God’s chosen people. The average evildoer cannot entrap many people, only himself or a few others around him. Thus, antichrists are more harmful and dangerous than the average evildoers. No matter whether it is an antichrist, a false Christ, or an evildoer, they all do the same things, that is, they can all do evil, they can all disturb and interrupt God’s work, and they can all rope in, deceive and control their brothers and sisters. They share this in common. But an evildoer does not pretend to be Christ, and does not have the ability to deceive too many of God’s chosen people to lay his own turf. He does not have such an ambition but only does evil to satisfy his fleshly needs. This is an evildoer, and he cannot attain salvation. If evildoers had the abilities of antichrists, if they could rope in and deceive many people and hold power alone, they would also be antichrists. Without this ability, they are average evildoers, and cannot be called antichrists. Are you now clear on the concept of evildoers?
There is another category, that is, false apostles, false leaders, and false workers. What are false apostles, false leaders and false workers? They are all those leaders and workers who cannot lead people to enter into the reality of God’s words, who do not truly pursue or love the truth, and lose the work of the Holy Spirit and are exposed. Because they themselves have no reality, they do not know what it is to enter into reality, and they know even less how to pursue the truth to attain entry into reality. Because they are unable to lead God’s chosen people to enter into God’s words and into truth, they are false. They are promoted due to man’s will and should be eliminated. But if this leader or worker who lacks the work of the Holy Spirit always wants to deceive people or speak some doctrines to control God’s chosen people, he is also an evildoer. If in his heart he does not believe in Christ, truly acknowledge Christ, submit to Christ, or accept Christ, and also tries to use theories and doctrines to deceive people and hold power alone, then he becomes an antichrist. So, if certain false leaders and false workers have great ambition and want to control others and hold power alone, they are not ordinary false leaders or false workers, they have become antichrists through and through. Normally, when people lack the work of the Holy Spirit and cannot speak of the reality of truth, they will do nothing, are willingly obedient, follow God’s work, and listen to whoever leads. False leaders or false workers like this can still attain salvation. Merely lacking the work of the Holy Spirit does not mean they are evildoers or antichrists. If they have ambition, do not obey the arrangements of God’s house, do not accept the advice and encouragement of their brothers and sisters, insist on doing things even without the work of the Holy Spirit, and have their own personal goals and do not stop until they reach them, then the nature has changed, and this is no longer an average leader or worker, this person has the nature of an antichrist. Do you understand? What are false leaders and false workers? They lack the work of the Holy Spirit, only can speak letters and doctrines, and lack reality. They are false, because they cannot achieve results, and God does not acknowledge them. Some antichrists were leaders and workers in the beginning, but then lost the work of the Holy Spirit, and finally evolved into antichrists. This situation is not infrequent. If he evolves into an antichrist, you can no longer say he is a false leader or false worker. He is an antichrist hiding in God’s house, an antichrist hiding within the church. He wants to hold power alone and is plainly without the work of the Holy Spirit. Many brothers and sisters have discovered and all can verify this matter: He is not obedient, does not honestly experience God’s work or pursue the truth, and also wants to control people, unscrupulously entrap people, deceive people, and do important things by their ambitions. This kind of person is not an average false leader or false worker, but rather is an antichrist.
There is one more category, which is, non-believers. Non-believers are people who believe in God in name only. All those who believe in God in name only, do not attend meetings, eat and drink God’s words, or pursue the truth, who nominally acknowledge that Almighty God is God, but do not accept these truths and do not love the truth; these are believers in name only; they are a non-believer. As soon as you mention the worldly pursuits, they have strength; as soon as you mention something that has benefit for their flesh, they will seek it. They have no interest in the truth, are unwilling to eat and drink God’s word, and unable to fulfill their duty for God’s house and for God. They cling to the world and the pleasures of the flesh. Such people are non-believers. What are the behaviors of non-believers? They do not perform their duties, and if the great red dragon oppresses and persecutes them, they no longer go to meetings, much less eat and drink God’s word. They look for work, work to earn money, and go on worldly pursuits. Non-believers do not cause any harm to God’s chosen people, they simply do not pursue the truth. Some use such an excuse as “Ah! Life is hard for my family, so I have to earn money!” In fact, those who genuinely pursue the truth have clothes and food and know that is enough. But them? The pleasures of the flesh know no limits. They are never satisfied with their enjoyment or their life. They try their utmost to be comfortable, rich, and powerful. This kind of person, accurately speaking, is one who does not love the truth. Those who do not love the truth, who do not pursue the truth, and who cannot perform their duties are non-believers. Is this explanation of non-believers clear to you now? When people first begin to believe, they do not understand any truth, they do not pursue it at all. Do not classify them as non-believers. New believers do not understand the truth. If someone believes for only half a year or a year, do not call them a non-believer, and do not say they do not pursue the truth. If someone doesn’t understand the truth, how can they pursue it? If they listen to many sermons for two or three years, and understand the significance of pursuing the truth and its value, but still do not love it, then this is a problem. They do not love the truth. How can you explain? If other people all understand, they should also understand. Others all pursue; why do they not pursue? Doesn’t this expose them? How else can we explain “non-believers”? All those who believe in God for many years and do not pursue the truth or truly eat and drink God’s words, but instead cling to the world, are non-believers. This is the most accurate definition of non-believers. Comparing non-believers and evildoers, which is more harmful? Evildoers. Comparing evildoers and antichrists, which is more harmful? Antichrists. Comparing antichrists and false Christs, which is more harmful? False Christs, because they have the work of evil spirits. The harm from antichrists is also no small; they are more or less the same. Even though we can say there are differences, the differences are slight. Can you discern between them now? Do not label others recklessly! Some leaders and workers who lack the work of the Holy Spirit may do some inappropriate things, and many brothers and sisters will think “This is not appropriate, it is full of loopholes, this is no good at all, is this acting blindly and arbitrarily?” One look may tell you they lack the work of the Holy Spirit, but you must not label them an “antichrist.” They are a false leader, false worker, or false apostle without the work of the Holy Spirit. What about the antichrist? Do not label him a false Christ or an evildoer. If he is an antichrist, he is an antichrist. What’s more, do not speak of the average evildoer as an antichrist, and even more so do not speak of him as a false Christ. And non-believers? Do not speak of them as false Christs or as misleading people, they are simply non-believers. Do you understand? Some cannot discern antichrists from false Christs, and some cannot discern average evildoers from false leaders and false workers, and label them randomly. This should not be done.
