Only by First Entering the Right Track of Belief in God Can One Walk the Right Track of Serving God

Everyone who has worked as a leader of the church for several years thinks they have done a lot of work for God, and that even if they have not performed meritorious deeds, they have at least worked hard, so they wonder how they could have become a person who resists God. Everybody thinks this is incredible. They all think: I am serving God as long as I am doing the church’s work; I have served God in accordance with His will as long as I have done the church’s work well; I am faithful to God as long as I am faithful to the church’s work; I will be someone who is after God’s own heart as long as I persist in serving God to the end. Therefore, all people who have served God for many years think they have done a lot of work and also endured a lot of suffering and that they are someone who is faithful to God and surely someone who is after God’s own heart. Accordingly, after serving God for many years, they begin unscrupulously enjoying the benefits of status; they sit high on a pedestal, think that justice is tardy, and start to act like a king. They don’t have any fear of God in their heart and all use their own methods to run their own operations, racking their brain to fight for power and gain and doing their utmost to trap and control God’s chosen people, contest God for His chosen people, and dream of forcibly making them their own. For the sake of satisfying their ambitions and desires, they stoop to anything, do whatever they want, and make self-satisfaction their standard. If they are satisfied, they think God is satisfied too and that they are qualified to enjoy the blessings of status. This is how they unwittingly embark on the road of an antichrist.

In the Age of Grace, the apostle Paul was a classic example. When he first believed in God, he was a classic antichrist, arrogant and conceited, not submitting to anyone, devoted to religion, striving for status, and without any fear of God in his heart. After being punished by God, he was given a chance to atone for his sins by God through bearing witness for Him. Only then did he start to bear witness for Jesus. After serving God for many years, he did not have any knowledge of the essence of Christ or have any knowledge of his own substance as the foremost of sinners who resisted God, much less did he have knowledge of God’s disposition and the purpose of God’s work. With just some Bible knowledge and enlightenment of the Holy Spirit, he considered himself an exceptional person, indulged in boastful talk, and went around lecturing people everywhere to show himself off. Even though he endured a lot of suffering, he did not have any change in his life disposition, and moreover, he went back to his old ways, becoming more and more arrogant and conceited. Not only did he not have fear of God in his heart, he could even shamelessly bear witness for himself—“To me to live is Christ.” He did all he could to boast about the suffering he had endured and flaunt his seniority to make people obey him. But in fact, he had long become a genuine antichrist. After he finished doing service, he was subjected to the punishment he deserved. Just as God said, he completely represented the archangel. Evidently, Paul did not possess the truth at all and was not a person who truly obeyed God.

The lesson learned from Paul’s failure is this: One who serves God but does not pursue the truth is destined to fail. A person who does not pursue the truth is a person who does not obey God’s work. Without pursuing the truth, one will have no change in his life disposition. Without pursuing the truth, one will not be able to know God. Therefore, all those who do not pursue the truth are people who resist God. This shows that corrupted human beings are certain to walk the path of antichrists if they do not resolve the problem of serving God but resisting God. If those who serve God work with their notions, imaginings, and desire for blessings and are never able to change, they will all surely fail in the end. We have seen that many people who served God that didn’t pursue the truth and relied only on their own will to serve God and their own imaginings to work were eliminated because they did many things that interrupted God’s work and resisted God. Serving God yet resisting God is something that people cannot help but do. No one wants to resist God—it is determined completely by man’s God-betraying nature and totally conforms with the inevitable law of corrupted human beings serving God. All those who serve God can be said to be God-resisting people before they have possessed the truth and obtained changes in their life disposition. There are no exceptions. This is because people who don’t pursue the truth surely don’t have knowledge of God’s work, cannot understand God’s will, and are not people who have changed in their life disposition. How could such people give service that is after God’s own heart? It’s absolutely impossible! As corrupted human beings do not possess the truth, even if they serve God, their service will surely be that which resists God. There isn’t a person whose service can be after God’s heart. This is determined by corrupted mankind’s nature. People who serve God must see this clearly.

People who serve God who want to be perfected by God and serve Him in complete accordance with His will must first enter onto the right track of belief in God before they can enter onto the right track of serving God. Only after entering onto the right track of belief in God, having true knowledge of God’s work, having actual experiences of life entry, and understanding the truth can a person who serves God truly understand God’s will and know how to cooperate with the Holy Spirit’s work to cause God’s chosen people to be saved. This is a necessary condition of entering onto the right track of serving God. To have knowledge of God’s work, they must understand: How does God judge and chastise man so that man can be saved, and why must man know the corrupt essence of mankind? How should corrupted mankind pursue the truth to be saved? Why must man understand the truth to break free from Satan’s influence? Why can one only be changed in their life disposition by knowing God? Only when they are clear about these questions will they have truly understood how God saves people, and can they begin to pursue the truth, officially accept His judgment and chastisement, and properly obey God’s work in order to be saved. Only in this way can they truly enter onto the right track of belief in God. Only when they have entered onto the right track of belief in God to be saved themselves can they lead God’s chosen people to enter onto it. Only if they have led God’s chosen people onto the right track of belief in God does it mean that they have truly cooperated with the Holy Spirit’s work and served God in harmony with His will. If one who serves God cannot bring God’s chosen people onto the right track of belief in God so they can be saved, they are not serving God and are instead interrupting God’s work. Their service is service that resists God. Therefore, it is extremely important for people who serve God to enter onto the right track of belief in God themselves. If they have not entered onto the right track of belief in God, they will absolutely not be able to bring God’s chosen people onto the right track of belief in God. If one who serves God does not have true knowledge of the essence of corrupted mankind and cannot see how God judges and chastises people to allow them to be saved, then it is not possible for them to unquestionably obey all of God’s work. How could such a person be qualified to serve God? Even if they serve God, they are still someone who resists God. Their service is definitely not genuine.

People who serve God before having entered onto the right track of belief in God all serve God in the following ways of service, which in substance are all services that resist God.

1. Serving God in accordance with one’s own preferences is service that resists God.

Serving in accordance with one’s own preferences is to perform the church’s work based on a person’s own thinking and likes. They do it in whatever way they want, in whatever way they think is good, and in whatever way they think is right. They do it completely based on their own will. It can also be said that this kind of service is service that is rendered according to one’s own wishes. They unreservedly and selflessly “contribute” their own knowledge, viewpoints, absurdities, and deviations to the church, imposing them on God’s chosen people. In the meetings, they are always spouting doctrinal words as they please, for they don’t possess reality and are not able to guide them to eat and drink God’s words or able to fellowship about the truth. They treat people based on their emotions and preferences and engage in playing politics. They do things without principle and always play tricks like unbelievers, and moreover don’t know how to use the truth to resolve problems. They have no love toward God’s chosen people, don’t support or help them, and can even stand on their high horse to lecture and control them; they are not able to do any practical work of watering, supporting and supplying people with the truth. All of their actions and conduct are based on their own will, such that God’s chosen people achieve no growth at all, yet they feel good about themselves, as if they had done a lot of work and rendered great service to God. The result, however, is that they have hindered God’s chosen people from entering onto the right track of belief in God; they have done a lot of meaningless work, seriously interrupting God’s work. This is sufficient to prove that people who fulfill their duty based on their own preferences do not know God’s work or understand His will, and they do not possess any truths. How can a person full of Satan’s corrupt disposition and not possessed of any truths lead God’s chosen people to enter onto the right track of belief in God based on their own thinking and viewpoints? This is without a doubt a person who serves God but resists God. This is a wrong path that should be seen through and abandoned.

2. Serving God in a religious way is service that resists God.

Serving in a religious way means to serve completely according to religion’s traditional ways and practice of service, firmly adhering to all kinds of religious rituals, and to lead people only by the knowledge of the Bible. It is vigorous and full of religious flavor on the outside, completely in conformance with human’s conceptions, and people have no criticism about it, but there is none of the Holy Spirit’s work. People who serve in this way give sermons that are all religious doctrines and biblical knowledge, full of religious conceptions, with none of the Holy Spirit’s enlightenment. And the meetings they hold are lifeless. Over many years of this type of service, God’s chosen people cannot receive the truth, cannot know or obey God, nor enter onto the right track of believing in God. Because what people are pursuing is not salvation, but grace and blessings, consequently changes in people’s life disposition cannot be seen. These types of people serve for several years, but it is all empty labor with no gains. This is the consequence of the religious way of service. It is evident that this type of person serving God really does not understand God’s work, nor do they understand God’s intentions. They do not know what cooperating with the Holy Spirit’s work is and this is purely the blind leading the blind. They lead God’s chosen people astray. They believe in God yet resist and do not know God. Like the Pharisees, they cannot be saved. There is no doubt that this type of religious way of service is classified as a service of resisting God. This is a wrong path that should be seen through and abandoned.

3. Serving God in accordance with one’s own notions and imaginings is service that resists God.

Serving God in accordance with one’s own notions and imaginings means to work based completely on one’s own notions and imaginings. Regardless of whether it is God’s words or His requirements, they will ignore it as long as it does not conform with their notions and imaginings. They always think their own notions and imaginings are correct and stubbornly believe that only the things conforming with their own notions and imaginings are the truth, and thus they can even doubt God’s words and the truths that don’t conform with their notions. They can judge and refuse to accept the work arrangements and the sermons and fellowship of the above and can even withhold and suppress them; they simply don’t know to pray to God or seek the truth, and they are arrogant and self-righteous by disposition. They have no regard for the co-working brothers and sisters, so fellowshiping and coordinating harmoniously with them is even more out of the question. They work and handle problems completely in accordance with man’s notions and imaginings. They especially respect notions, place blind faith in knowledge, and pay attention to doctrines. They think that they are correct and without error, as if they were standard upon which the truth is measured and were the truth, which is why they doubt everything. They don’t care that God’s chosen people cannot yet enter onto the right track of believing in God, are completely unconcerned that God’s chosen people don’t have the church life, and show no responsibility toward the life entry of God’s chosen people. As a result, after they have worked for many years, they are lifeless and have gained nothing; they have neither gained the truth nor obtained any change in their life disposition, and they have completely lost the work of the Holy Spirit. God’s chosen people have also got into trouble along with them, falling into the deception and control of the devil Satan; they have believed in God for many years but are not able to enter onto the right track of belief in God, let alone be saved by God. Without question, this kind of service completely deviates from God’s work and goes against His will, and is fully a service that resists God. This is a wrong path that should be seen through and abandoned.

4. Serving God in the position of Christ is the service of antichrists and is completely a service that brazenly resists God.

Serving God in the position of Christ mainly refers to the service rendered by leaders who never bear witness for or exalt God, don’t communicate their knowledge of God, and rarely talk about knowing and dissecting themselves, as if they did not have any corruption. And when they preach and fellowship, they don’t regard God’s chosen people as their equals, working completely in the position of Christ. These are the most arrogant people most lacking in reason. All those who don’t bear witness for or exalt God in their work and don’t talk about knowing themselves at all are antichrist-types. After having done the church’s work for several years, such people have gained some enlightenment from the Holy Spirit or understood some truths, learned to speak some spiritual words, and won over the approval of some people, and the amount of people who follow and flatter them has also increased, which makes them feel like they are special and that they have gained the truth, that they can be on an equal footing with Christ. They then start to work in whatever way they wish. They no longer see themselves as a member of corrupted mankind, as if they had not been corrupted by Satan. They rarely talk about their knowledge of their own corruption or bear witness for God, but keep bearing witness for themselves in all situations. Accordingly, their tone of voice and mentality also change. Before they know it, they have started working in the position of Christ, thinking that for them to live is Christ, that they are full of the truth, and that there is none above them except the One. They don’t obey anyone, and they preach and fellowship in the position of Christ, and can even imitate Christ’s words to lecture people. This is sufficient to prove that such people who serve God have already embarked on the road of the antichrist Paul, and that their service is completely a service that resists God. This is the terrifying outcome brought by these corrupted human beings not pursuing the truth and not knowing the corrupt essence of mankind. When these people understand some truths, they become crazy and forget what they are, and moreover they don’t know what dispositional change is. Do they have any reason at all? People who don’t know themselves are those most lacking in reason and those who are in the greatest danger. Such people have some gifts, so they are especially arrogant and conceited and don’t obey anyone. Unwittingly, they have embarked on the road of antichrists. If these people can reject the work arrangements and the sermons and fellowship from the above, they will have started to set up their own independent kingdom. This reveals that they are Satan and means that demons are taking power. God’s chosen people should band together and annihilate them, thoroughly banning and rejecting them. Evidently, all those who try to stand in God’s position and control God’s chosen people are antichrists. It is a wrong path that should be seen through and abandoned.

Serving in the position of Christ refers to service that is rendered in the antichrist Paul’s way. It is a common mistake that corrupted human beings make most easily when serving God. No one is excepted. Without God’s care and salvation, it is difficult for anyone to escape this terrible fate. This is because, by nature, everyone is arrogant, conceited and self-righteous, and refuses to obey anyone. That is why they all think very highly of themselves, and they want to be God and make people submit to and worship them as soon as they have understood some truths. Among mankind, a person who is able to truly obey one or two people is already a very humble person. But actually, this kind of person also doesn’t obey anyone deep in their core; they just speak more courteously to give themselves some leeway. With most people, if they have worked for five or six years and preached a lot of sermons, as soon as they have won over some people’s approval, they will become arrogant and deviant. They will think that they have been perfected and for them to live is Christ, and that since they do things for the sake of others, others should do things for the sake of them and hence they should enjoy the benefits of their status with a clear conscience. This kind of corrupt condition of theirs reveals that they are Satan. Such people are precisely antichrists. The way they act as leaders is not much different to the way the great red dragon rules. Corrupted human beings who serve God have a poor foundation, and all have malicious, arrogant and conceited natures. This is mankind’s fatal weakness. If a person who serves God cannot especially pursue the truth and accept God’s judgment, chastisement, pruning, and dealing, they will easily go back to their old ways as soon as their status grows high and they have a bit of capital; that’s a natural law. This is particularly true with those who have gifts and are knowledgeable. If they are not ones who pursue the truth, they are arrogant people who don’t obey and cannot be tamed by anyone. After serving God for many years, such people will all surely walk on the road of antichrists and be punished by God like Paul. All those antichrists are walking on this path of no return. This is the path to being cursed by God. People who serve God must see this clearly.

The above four types of services are all services that are based on man’s own will, and are thus all services that resist God. Before corrupted human beings have been perfected by God, their ways of serving God all fall into these four types of services. The services of most of those who are relatively reasonable fall into the first three types. It is most easy for those who are especially arrogant and conceited and who have gifts to walk the path of serving like an antichrist, that is, the fourth type of service—“serving in the position of Christ.” Strictly speaking, without the judgment, chastisement, pruning and dealing of God, it is easy for anyone to walk on the path of antichrists once they have worked for a while. There is nothing for man to boast about on the path of serving God. The higher one’s status, the more danger they are in. It is easy for anyone who has not experienced God’s special judgment, chastisement, pruning and dealing to stray into Paul’s path. Therefore, those who can accept and submit to God’s judgment and chastisement and undergo a great many various trials in their service shall be protected by God. This shows that accepting and submitting to God’s judgment and chastisement and undergoing various types of trials is very worthwhile. When a person has got on the right track of service and receives God’s perfection, they will realize that it is really because of God’s grace and deep love that they have experienced God’s judgment, chastisement, pruning and dealing. That we corrupted human beings can serve God is due to God’s exceptional exaltation of us. Based on our corrupt essence, we are not worthy of serving God and are not qualified to serve God. Since we are specially graced by God, we should have a heart that fears God and perform the work of the church in accordance with God’s requirements and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We should never forget that we are corrupted human beings and forever unworthy of serving God, and that man will always be a creature and should stand in and never overstep the position of a creature. These two things are what a sensible person must possess, and we must always hold on to them. There is another thing that is even more important, and it is to firmly remember: Christ will always be my Lord, my God. If you don’t respect Christ as the Lord and God, you should immediately stop serving and self-reflect. No matter when, if you can disobey and betray Christ in your heart, you are an antichrist. You should all the more accept responsibility and resign so that you won’t be punished for doing all sorts of evils. This is the best caution signal, the best warning sign. You’re in trouble if you don’t have this caution in your heart. Regardless of how many truths a person understands and whether they have changes in their life disposition, what they essentially are and the position they ought to stand in can never change. This is something people who serve God must pay attention to. Hence, people who serve God not only need to pursue the truth, do their best to pursue knowledge of their own corrupt essence, and strive to clearly see just what they are, but they also have to often pray and ask God to discipline, punish, and expose them. This really is very necessary. Without God’s judgment and chastisement accompanying us corrupted human beings, it is easy for us to stumble in our service of God. No one is an exception. People who have already experienced it are comparatively safe. Of course, this is all thanks to God’s judgment, chastisement, and protection, and there is nothing about themselves for them to boast about. Those who serve God who have not experienced God’s more severe judgment and chastisement and His direct pruning and dealing are all in great danger. They must do their utmost to pursue the truth to rescue and protect themselves. This is absolutely imperative. When serving God, you must always examine whether the path you have walked is right and if you have gone against God’s will, and often compare yourselves with God’s words to self-reflect. This is beneficial to you and to God’s chosen people. All those who truly have a heart that fears God will practice this.

The state of serving God but resisting God is a common expression that people have before they gain the truth and obtain changes in their life disposition. A person who does not possess the truth is surely not compatible with God. After people have been corrupted by Satan, they are full of Satan’s corrupt disposition, are hostile toward God in everything, and have a nature that resists and betrays God. How could such corrupt people not resist God if they serve God? For instance, if a person has an arrogant and conceited nature, it is very hard for them to exalt and bear witness for God, and they will certainly only bear witness for themselves when serving God, often show themselves off when working, think highly of themselves and look down on others, especially value those who have gifts, but spurn and exclude simplehearted people and those who can practice the truth. How could such unjust people give true service? For instance, when crooked and deceitful people serve God, it is even more unlikely that they will exalt and bear witness for God. They will surely act perfunctorily, go through the motions, and deceive God far too much, and take the credit for themselves while putting the blame on others. How could such despicable crooks give true service? For instance, when people with greedy natures serve God, they will always pay attention to how much profit they have gained and whether it’s enough to cover the cost, and if they lose too much they will think it’s not worth it and they have suffered a great disadvantage, and that they must reap more profit for it to be fair. How could such sordid merchants give true service? For instance, when people with evil natures serve God, they will always pay attention to interacting with the opposite sex and satisfying their lustful desires. They won’t feel like working without handsome men or beautiful women by their side. How could such evil people give true service? If one who serves God is not an upstanding and decent person or someone who pursues the truth, their true natures will become obvious as soon as they gain status. Therefore, God’s house has repeatedly stipulated that we must cultivate people with good humanity, that is, cultivate people who pursue the truth and have a sense of justice, to be church leaders and workers at all levels. If they are not the right people then they are not worth cultivating. The wrong people will surely do a lot of evil and fraudulent acts to harm God’s chosen people. Only the right people and upstanding and decent people can, through experiencing in their service all kinds of pruning and dealing, gradually enter into God’s words, gain the truth, and be perfected by God in the end. It is inevitable for one to have transgressions and deviations in their service of God, but we need to look at whether they are someone who pursues the truth and whether they possess work abilities and caliber. If they are the right person then they are worth cultivating. When such a person serves God, they will be able to gradually walk on the right track and give service that is after God’s own heart. If they are not the right person then they will bring more losses than benefits, causing harm to God’s chosen people and thus holding up the church’s work.

To resolve the problem of serving God but resisting God requires knowing the root of the problem. No one who serves God wants to be a person who resists God. It is completely determined by corrupt mankind’s God-betraying nature. All of man’s actions and conduct are dominated and controlled by their nature. Man’s heart is filled with man’s imaginings, notions, and absurdities of all kinds, as well as man’s corruption and foolishness, which are incompatible with the truth. Man’s corruption is also full of deceit and hypocrisy—he is unwilling to practice the truth but tries to save face at all costs; he doesn’t possess reality and yet pretends he does to deceive others. In particular, man’s corrupt disposition contains the various treacherous ulterior motives of corrupted mankind, and he also has a narrow and malicious heart. That is why everyone can hate and seek revenge against others, and has a tendency to attack others to elevate themselves. To achieve their own purposes, they can use all kinds of deceitful methods such as making up lies, twisting the facts, calling white black and black white, and so on. In order to satisfy their own desires or achieve their own goals, they can even stop at nothing to deceive and resist God. All of these various revelations of corruptions are deeds of serving God but resisting God. If one who serves God has these corrupt deeds, how can they not be said to be someone who resists God? If a person who serves God is not someone who practices the truth, then they are surely someone who resists God. If a person who serves God is not someone who genuinely obeys God, then they are surely someone who resists God. If a person who serves God cannot gain the recognition and approval of God’s chosen people, then they are surely someone who resists God. If a person who serves God cannot perform the church’s work in accordance with the work arrangements from the above, then they are surely someone who resists God. If a person who serves God does not possess the truth, then their service is surely service that relies on their own will and follows rules. Could such service bring people into God’s words for them to enter into the truth? Could it make people get rid of their corruptions and be saved? If their service cannot achieve such a result, then what value does it have? Accordingly, all service that is based on one’s own will or follows rules is service that interrupts God’s work and resists God.

The key to whether a person who serves God can serve Him in accordance with His will is whether that person is the right person and whether they are walking the right path. If a person who serves God is walking Peter’s path of serving God, then even though they express corruptions in their service, they can pursue the truth to resolve their problems of corruptions, can accept pruning and dealing, can constantly sum up and learn lessons from their failures, and can often examine what deviations they still have, and hence can constantly correct themselves and repent, so that they will gradually enter onto the right track of serving God and eventually become someone who is after God’s own heart. If a person who serves God is walking on Paul’s path—they are full of ambitions to seek status, often testifying about themselves, showing off themselves, and protecting their own reputation and status, and they do not pay attention to resolving their own transgressions and corruptions, do not inspect the deviations they have made in their service, and do not pursue to enter into the truth and obtain changes in their life disposition, but instead seek to receive blessings and rule as king, dream of receiving glory with God and see themselves as Christ, then they have long been walking the path of antichrists and they will inevitably end up being punished. It is very important for people who serve God to resolve their problem of serving God but resisting God. This not only has to do with the carrying out of God’s will and the fate of God’s chosen people, but also the ending and destination of people who serve God.

For people who serve God to achieve service that is after God’s own heart, they must first enter onto the right track of believing in God. Only after entering onto the right track of believing in God can they enter onto the right track of serving God. One can achieve true and formal service through understanding and gaining the truth after having entered onto the right track of believing in God. The deeper one’s experience of being saved and perfected, the more depth their service will have, and the more it will be after God’s own heart. If one who serves God is not a person who is being saved and perfected, they will not be able to lead others to be saved and perfected. This is a certainty. One who serves God must be a person who has the work of the Holy Spirit and who is experiencing God’s judgment, chastisement, trials, and refinements, and is also experiencing much pruning and dealing. Only such a person is qualified to serve God. If a person who serves God does not have the work of the Holy Spirit, they will not have true experience of life, won’t have any reality at all, surely won’t have true knowledge of God’s work, and really won’t be able to lead others to enter onto the right track of believing in God. Those without the work of the Holy Spirit are not qualified to lead people and those who don’t pursue the truth are also not worthy of leading people, because the work of serving God is to lead people to experience God’s work of judgment and chastisement and actually experience entering into God’s words so that they all can know how to eat and drink God’s words and can understand the truth and enter into reality. If one has no experience of God’s work of the last days, does not fully understand it, or cannot grasp the current work of the Holy Spirit and its principles, they will not be able to lead God’s chosen people to experience God’s work, let alone lead them to enter into the reality of God’s words. Therefore, if one does not have genuine experience of God’s work, they are not qualified to be a leader at any level of the church. If one who serves God has too little experience of God’s work and their knowledge of it is too shallow, they will not be able to communicate their actual experiences and their true knowledge of God, and it is inevitable that they will have a fearful and trembling heart, terrified of misleading God’s chosen people, misguiding them, and personally ruining them. This is a normal condition that surely exists in the heart of a person with conscience and reason. If one who serves God does not have such worry and fear, they won’t possibly do their utmost to pursue the truth and seek God’s will. I also came through this path myself. For many years, I was very afraid of holding back God’s chosen people and being condemned as a sinner through the ages. This burden weighed on my heart for many years, and thus I often prayed and sought God’s will. I really was in fear and trembling. It was not until God’s appearance that I found support in my heart. Compared to the fate of God’s chosen people, my own gains and losses and my own prospects and fate are nothing.

Knowing God’s work is so important for people who serve God! The most important thing in pursuing the truth is to know God’s work. Only after knowing God’s work and truly understanding God’s will can one lead people to enter onto the right track of believing in God. Only after knowing God’s work can one lead people to get on the path of being saved and perfected. Only after knowing God’s work can one enter onto the right track of service and achieve service that is after God’s own heart. It can be said that from the beginning of his believing in God to the point where he is saved and perfected and achieves service that is after God’s heart, one cannot do without knowing God’s work. Knowing God’s work is extremely important for mankind. This is particularly true with people who serve God. They are not qualified to serve God if they do not know God’s work. There is only one path for a person to serve God in accordance with His will, and that’s to pursue the truth and put effort into knowing God’s work. Only when one clearly understands all the truths contained in God’s work will they naturally see the way of service, will they naturally know how to cooperate with the work of the Holy Spirit, and will they then naturally know what to lead people to enter into first and what to lead them to enter into after that. All of this comes about because of one’s knowledge of God’s work. We used to often say that one can only serve God in accordance with His will by grasping His will. This means to know God’s work and from God’s work see God’s will and His requirements of man, as well as how God leads man to experience His work step by step.

God has expressed many words in His work of the last days. All of God’s words were uttered for the sake of resolving mankind’s corruption, and revolve around how people can know mankind’s corruption so that they can be saved and perfected. The words God uttered cover everything and all aspects, and their main and central point is to make people know what the corrupt essence of mankind is and the source of mankind’s corruption. At the same time, it is to let people know God’s disposition, His wisdom and omnipotence, and the results God’s work shall achieve in the end. All of these things are made very clear in God’s words. When one truly knows God’s work, they will naturally see the way to serve God. When those who believe in God have had a general understanding of the truths concerning the vision of God’s work, they should start to enter into the lesson of knowing mankind’s corrupt essence. Only when they have achieved initial results in this will they have entered onto the right track of belief in God. They will understand that they should believe in God completely for the sake of being saved. They will no longer believe in God for the pursuit of blessings and entry into heaven or for the sake of enjoying God’s grace and blessings. Instead, they will believe for the pursuit of salvation and to live out a true life. This is the true meaning of belief in God.

Entering onto the right track of belief in God is so meaningful for God’s chosen people. As their knowledge of God’s work deepens, God’s chosen people will be able to genuinely and absolutely obey God’s work and do their utmost to pursue salvation. This means they will have embarked on the right track of believing in God to be saved, and will never again be possibly deceived or disturbed by false Christs or antichrists. They will not be deceived by the work of various types of evil spirits, disturbed by various kinds of religious theologies, fallacies and heresies, or controlled by any people, things, or events. They will resolutely follow God, experience God’s work, and fulfill the duty of a created being. They won’t again go down the wrong path, and the road they walk will grow brighter and brighter as they fully enter onto the bright and correct life path of being saved and perfected. Only leading God’s chosen people to enter onto the right track of belief in God in this way conforms with God’s will. As your experience of life deepens, you will be able to lead God’s chosen people completely in accordance with God’s requirements, and experiencing God’s work will become easier and easier for you. Because you can lead God’s chosen people as your understanding of the truth deepens, at this point, you will naturally always be guided and accompanied by the work of the Holy Spirit. Fulfilling one’s duty of serving God is also hard in the beginning. When one has had the true experience of life and true knowledge of God’s work, they will have become clear about the way, enlightened in their heart, and have grasped the principles and way of the work, so they will no longer be confused or constrained in their heart and will feel much more relaxed and liberated. And they will know how to do a good job on the substantive work of serving God and the fundamental and core work of each time period, be able to grasp to what extent they should do them and what results they should achieve instead of doing them blindly and aimlessly, and be able to learn to do them progressively by following the work of the Holy Spirit—all of this appears on the surface to be the workings of man, but it is actually the workings of the Holy Spirit. And in the end, they will see the ever-renewed beauty of the Holy Spirit’s work. This is service that is completely after God’s own heart. In true service, the less corruption people who serve God reveal, the less harm they will bring people; the more people who serve God can practice the truth and live in the work of the Holy Spirit, the more edification and benefit they will bring people. When a person who serves God has completely entered into the reality of the truth, it will be easy for them to lead people into the reality of the truth. This means that they will have completely entered onto the right track of serving God and started to accept God’s perfecting.

We must clearly see: Entering onto the right track of serving God often requires emerging from the failure of working by relying on one’s own will, and entering into the service in the current work of the Holy Spirit, doing only the fundamental work God requires man to do. Entering onto the right track of service means emerging from the practice of working arbitrarily and aimlessly because of lack of the truth, and entering into the true service of doing the substantive work of serving God accurately in accordance with His will. Entering onto the right track of service is emerging from the vague practices that conform with doctrines and notions, and entering into the steps of God’s current work and into the true service of using God’s words to resolve people’s corruptions. For people who serve God, entering onto the right track of service is the best practice in pursuing to be saved and perfected. Only after entering onto the right track of service can one be saved and perfected. Only after church leaders of all levels have entered onto the right track of service can God’s chosen people enter onto the right track of believing in God. If those who serve God can endure all kinds of sufferings for the fulfillment of God’s commission and be faithful to God until the end, then they are people who will be saved and perfected. If some people cannot bear the sufferings and keep intending to escape or wash their hands of their duties and abandon their service, then that is giving up halfway. Only those who emerge from the sufferings, tribulations, and all kinds of trials will be people who have truly been purified and perfected. After people who serve God have entered onto the right track of service, they will officially enter into the experience of being saved and perfected. The more trials they enjoy in the fulfillment of their duties, the more they will gain. Unconsciously they will understand the truth ever more clearly, and their work will be more and more practical and all be substantive work with value, without any useless work. As their entry into God’s words becomes deeper, God’s chosen people will also enter into the reality of God’s words with them. At this point, they will have achieved service that is after God’s own heart. At that time, any work they do will be a true testimony. Therefore, only service that can make God’s chosen people be saved and perfected is service that is after God’s own heart. Only those who serve God in this manner are people who carry out God’s will.
