Satan is defeated when people are delivered,

no longer its food, not devoured, instead relinquished.

For such people are upright,

have faith and obedience and fear toward God;

they break with Satan completely.

For they bring shame on it, make a coward of it,

completely overcome it.

Their belief in God, obedience and fear of God

make Satan let them go.

Only people like these have been truly gained by God.

It’s His objective in saving man.

If they want to be saved, be completely gained by God,

Those who have been saved by God

have undergone God’s trials,

been tempted, attacked in so many ways by Satan.

Those who are saved understand God’s will and requirements,

submit to His plans;

they can fear God and shun evil.

They possess honesty, are kindhearted

and can see the difference between love and hate.

With a sense of justice, they are rational

and care for God and treasure all from Him.
