What Exactly Is the Truth?

Before You Can Practice and Enter Into the Truth, You Must First Know the Truth

What exactly is the truth? What is it? How exactly can one gain the truth? If you are clear in your hearts on these questions, then you will absolutely have a path to follow, and you will know how to seek the truth in your practice and in your experience, and you will be able to practice the truth. If, however, you are not clear on these questions, then when other people fellowship about the truth with you, you won’t understand, and you won’t be able to take in what they say; you won’t be able to grasp the truth within, but will only grasp rules and doctrine, and in the end all you will be able to practice are rules, and not the truth—people like this are incapable of entering into the reality of the truth. Some people raise some questions and want to seek answers from me. So I fellowship about some truths and some principles of practice with them, and after they’ve heard this, they still don’t seem to understand it very clearly, and they say: “You’ve said so many things, so how come I don’t know my way forward?” In their hearts, they’re yearning for me to say “This is OK” or “This is not OK”, or “This is exactly what you should do.” Do people like this understand the truth? For example, I say to some people: “Be this way to that person.” And they say: “Great! I understand!” But the moment I start fellowshiping about principles of the truth, they have nothing to say and they don’t understand what the truth is. When I tell them a rule, they take it as a decree, and when I fellowship about principles of the truth, they don’t understand. Isn’t there a problem here? Can the truth be explained clearly in one sentence? The truth is the reality of positive things, and that type of reality cannot be generalized in one sentence. Like the truth of being an honest person—can that be generalized in one sentence? Moreover, the truth is principled, and only by naming the principles will you have a way forward; if you can’t fellowship about the principles clearly, then you will not have a way forward. Therefore, when someone raises a problem and you speak to them, telling them that they should do such-and-such or to just do such-and-such, then is this fellowshiping about the truth? Say, for example, someone says: “What should I do if I meet an antichrist?” And you say: “Reject them.” And they say: “OK. I’ll reject antichrists.” Can they put this truth into practice? They must be able to discern what exactly an antichrist is. If they take false leaders and leaders who have transgressed as antichrists or wicked people and reject them all, then ultimately they will reject false leaders and leaders who have transgressed—is this practicing the truth? Is this not blindly following rules? If someone doesn’t take in the truth no matter how you fellowship about it to them, what then can they take in? “Do you approve of what I want to do or not? Well? Do you approve or not? Tell me.” Is this someone who seeks the truth? They are not seeking the truth, they are asking for instructions or orders: “As for what to do, please give me an order, and I guarantee that I will act on your words.” But what if you get it wrong? For example, someone asks: “We have a wicked person in our church. Tell us, how should we handle wicked people?” I say: “Reject them.” They then go on to reject good people who have transgressed as wicked people. Is this appropriate? I must therefore fellowship with them about what kind of people are wicked people and how exactly they are to discern between evil people and good people. Good people can do bad things too, but their nature and essence are good, and they are able to repent and change; wicked people have an evil nature and essence, and they are incapable of repentance or change. You must keep these two kinds of people separate in your minds, then ascertain whether or not that person genuinely is wicked and, if so, you can then reject them. Some people don’t understand when I say this, and they say to me: “What exactly do you want me to do?” I want you to tell people apart, get right exactly what a wicked person is, and then reject them. If you don’t apply your discernment, just blindly follow rules and handle good people who have transgressed as if they were wicked people, then is this appropriate? So in line with these matters that we’re discussing, what exactly is the truth? Should people know exactly what the truth is? How come simple-minded people always try to practice the truth as though it were a set of rules? They are incapable of seeking the truth. Can one sentence take the place of the truth? Can rules take its place? Can orders take its place? The question as to what exactly the truth is is so very real. Most people get stumped at this point; there are many matters in which they don’t know how to seek the truth, they follow rules with whatever issue they encounter, and people like this don’t understand what the truth is. Because they don’t know the truth, this kind of difficulty and dilemma therefore arises. All of God’s chosen people know clearly that the truth is from God and that God’s words are expressed by Christ. All of God’s words are the truth, and it may be said that every single sentence of God’s words is the truth and is an expression of truth. Then someone says, “Can you confidently affirm that every single sentence of God’s words is the truth?” Basically, this can be affirmed. For most of God’s words, one sentence makes a truth. But there is a part of God’s words where several sentences together thoroughly tell a truth. Therefore, there are some truths which cannot be substituted by just one sentence, and a passage of God’s words may contain several truths, or just one truth. There are some of God’s words in which one sentence forms one truth. For example, when it comes to what God has and is, one sentence is a truth, an eternal truth, an ever-lasting truth. For example, the sentence “God is a righteous God” is a truth. Take, for example, God saying “I will also solemnly declare to you.” Words like this explain a truth only with several other sentences all together. Therefore, all of God’s words are expressions of truth, and that is for certain. Because God’s words are all expressions of truth, therefore all the truths God expresses form the way of truth. The way of truth cannot be substituted by one sentence, but rather all of God’s words together make up the way of truth. Today, after reading God’s words, we can see that they express many truths—they are all truths for corrupt mankind to attain salvation and they are all the life that corrupt mankind must attain. Therefore, all the truths God expresses are the way of truth, the way of eternal life.

And when we mention the way of eternal life, the relationship between the truth and life becomes clear. What exactly is life? To be precise, the truth is life, and so the way of truth is the way of eternal life, which is the way of life, and the way of life is the way of eternal life. So what kind of way of life is the way of eternal life? The way of truth expressed by God is the way of eternal life. What does the way of eternal life mean? It means that you accept in your heart all the truths expressed by God, you understand them in your heart and they are rooted in your heart, and ultimately, you live by this way of truth; people like this are the ones who attain eternal life. Do people who gain everlasting life still die? People like this don’t die. Someone asks: “What if their body dies?” Their body sleeps, but their soul exists forever. Someone says: “Does the soul of Satan and the souls of corrupt mankind exist forever?” Those souls will be destroyed in the end. So why is it that those who gain the way of eternal life never die? It’s because people like this are newly-created by God and God blesses people like this and praises them that God will never destroy all those who gain the way of truth and who gain the truth as their life, and He will let them live forever. Why is it that satanic creatures cannot gain eternal life? It’s because they defy God and because God hates and curses them, and so God will surely destroy them. The entire universe and everything in the world changes according to God’s will and disposition and, in accordance with God’s disposition, everything that defies God or opposes God must be destroyed. We all now know that there is Hades and hell within the spiritual world. What kinds of souls are kept within hell? The ones kept in hell are the souls that belong to Satan and that defy God. So when will they be destroyed? This is arranged by God. They are now kept in hell and are ruled in hell, and that is a punishment. They don’t die, but suffer pain and they suffer punishments—this is a fact. If you believe in God and gain the truths God expresses as your life—you don’t need to gain many truths and change a lot, but in accordance with God’s words, at the very least you must achieve a 30 percent change—then you are saved. Because the life of man is so limited, and time is so limited, you cannot possibly live out all the truths God expresses. If you can live out 30 percent then that’s great, and you are guaranteed to have been saved. Within these few limited decades of a person’s life, does God demand that we achieve a 100 percent change? No, He doesn’t. God requires that we achieve at least a 30 percent change. If we can practice some truths, we can live out some realities of the truth, we can expend sincerely for Him, we can basically obey Him, we are not deceived or constrained by Satan and we don’t do evil, this is already pretty great, and if we can be honest people, then we are saved. Everyone must be clear in their hearts regarding the questions of how we should pursue the truth, and which realities we should enter into as a minimum in order to see real change in ourselves and to truly conform to God’s will. If you are always unclear on these questions, if you always misunderstand God and always think “God’s requirements are too high. No one will ever achieve them, not in a whole lifetime, and I fear not even in two lifetimes,” then you have misunderstood God’s will. God does not demand that we live out His words in their entirety, that we live out the truth in its entirety and that we achieve a 100 percent change. God requires that we achieve a 30 or 40 percent change as a bare minimum; what He requires of us is not excessive in the slightest, but is very practical. You must now thoroughly understand what exactly the truth is, and after you have thoroughly understood this, you will also totally understand and comprehend His requirements. Moreover, how man should pursue the truth so as to achieve results will also become perfectly clear to you. Most important now is that we must recognize what the truth is. To be precise: 1) the truth is the way of life that comes from God, and all the truths expressed by God are the way of life; 2) the truth is what God’s life has and is, and it is a complete representation of God’s disposition; 3) the truth is the life and the image prepared for man by God; 4) Christ is the truth, the way and the life, and He is an exemplar for us all; 5) the truth is everlasting life; 6) the truth is the reality of positive things; 7) the truth is the highest life maxim. If you can clearly recognize all seven of these points, then you will know exactly what the truth is; if you have true knowledge of these seven points, then you will know the truth clearly. When you are fellowshiping about the truth, you will be clear about whether you are fellowshiping accurately or not, and fellowshiping clearly or not; when other people are fellowshiping about the truth, you will be able to grasp the reality of the truth and the essence of the truth, you will be able to grasp the fundamentals, and you won’t bother to investigate any useless words or rules. Moreover, in your practice you will be able to ascertain the accurate principles of practice and achieve the criterion of practicing the truth. Therefore, when we understand exactly what the truth is, our seeking of the truth, our acceptance of the truth and our practicing of the truth all become accurate, and we have a way forward with them all. If you don’t know what the truth is then you will be in trouble—you may seek the truth but you will achieve nothing, you may try to practice the truth but you will not be able to grasp the way forward, and you will not be clear on whether what you do conforms to the truth or not—you will be in a complete muddle. Within these seven points, for example, there is one that says “The truth is the highest life maxim.” When it comes to life maxims, some people take satanic life maxims as the truth. Aren’t these people muddleheaded? Satanic philosophies and satanic logic are not genuine life maxims; they are false reasoning and we do not accept them. We accept God’s words, for only God’s words are the highest life maxim. If in this life we can take many of God’s words as our life mottos, put them into practice and abide by them as the highest maxims in our lives, then our life outlook and our values will undergo a fundamental transformation, and we will then live out a real life. Now, people all across the world are discussing what exactly life is, what path people should walk, what exactly a genuine life outlook is and what genuine values are. Can the people in the world come up with any clear answers on these issues? No, they can’t. Because the basis of their discussions is wrong, because they do not base their discussions on God’s words but on their life experiences and their own personal views, they will never be able to know the truth. Why is it that those philosophers, writers, thinkers and politicians in the world are without real life? Have they read many books? They have read so many books, but all the books they’ve read are satanic books. Not one of them is truly God’s words, and so they are without life. The words expressed by God in the last days are the most crucial truths, the most important truths for truly saving people. In the last days, God opens the small scroll, and this scroll of the last days is powerful—it is the highest life maxim and it is the way of everlasting life.

If you want to enter into the truth, then you must first know the truth. Once you know the truth, you then have a path forward in pursuing and practicing the truth. First, you must know what the truth is—this is so important. The truth comes from God and it is all the reality of positive things. At the same time, the truth is what God’s life has and is and it is a complete representation of God’s disposition. Today, God expresses these words that we may eat and drink them, and that we may attain them. Is this not God’s greatest blessing for mankind? Eating and drinking God’s words, living the church life, fellowshiping about the truth and training to perform our duties, then practicing these truths and assimilating them as we perform our duties, entering into all realities of the truth through experience and practice, and then finally turning these truths into our lives—this is the path to gaining the truth. Requiring you now to practice the truth in your duties and to handle matters in accordance with the principles of the truth is so beneficial to you gaining the truth. Some people who do their duties now don’t contemplate how to practice the truth and are always slipshod in their duties. Doing duties like this is a waste of time. Some who go out to spread the gospel by pitching it on the street just stand by their stall and do nothing; they stand there all day long without gaining a single person. When they’re asked what they’ve achieved, they say: “I haven’t achieved anything. I just feel that when I get home my legs are very tired from standing up all day.” Do people like this know how to pursue the truth? It doesn’t matter that you haven’t gained anyone, and God’s family makes no demand that you gain new people every day. But if you don’t achieve anything in a day, does doing your duty this way conform to God’s will? What are you doing it for? If you don’t know to pursue the truth in your duties, then what meaning is there to your belief in God? If no one comes seeking the true way, then two of you could fellowship some of your experience and knowledge, or you yourself could contemplate some of God’s words, or watch all the different people on the street in order to develop your discernment and insight. And after you get back home, you’ll think, “I achieved something today. I obtained some light through contemplating God’s words and I achieved something through fellowshiping and learned something from my partner. I saw some kind of phenomenon in the people walking to and fro. Because of this, I’ve understood some of God’s words, I’ve developed some intelligence and wisdom, and I now know how to approach a certain kind of person.” These are all achievements. If you’re at a stall all day long and you’ve spent all day doing this duty, but by the time you get home you haven’t achieved anything, is there any meaning to performing your duty in this way? Isn’t that just a vain waste of time? While doing your duty you should contemplate God’s words, fellowship about the truth, and try to develop your insight and discernment when you come into contact with people, so as to achieve something every day and progress every day. By doing your duty in this way for a year, even though you may not gain many people, you will understand many truths, you will have a thorough understanding of many issues, and you will not have performed your duty in vain. You must always make some progress every day. If you spend many hours just standing there without making any progress at all, then this way of doing your duty is meaningless. Can’t two people doing their duty together fellowship about the truth? Why not learn something from someone else? Say, for example, someone is arranged to work with you, and this person has never been very good at speaking, or they are very much at odds with your imaginings and they’re not compatible with you, then there is a lesson to learn in this situation. Say someone is arranged to work with you who insults you in a roundabout way and who is sarcastic to you—is there not a lesson to learn from doing your duty with this kind of person? You can understand many truths. On the one hand, you are able to understand what normal humanity is and what a corrupt disposition is, and to develop your discernment through what the person you’re working with reveals. This is learning by negative example. Moreover, you must learn how to tolerate others and be patient with others. By means of this person, you can see how tolerant and patient you are, whether or not you are magnanimous, whether or not you are lenient and whether or not you have any stature—these are all opportunities to learn lessons. Before, when someone insulted me, I hated them, but now my life has moved on. When someone insults me, I have learned not to hate them, but instead I see their pitifulness, and then I can tolerate them and be patient with them. If you hate someone when they insult you and you want to lash out at those who disgust you, then your life disposition has not changed. It won’t do to be intolerant of others. To be able to get along with any kind of person, to know how to associate with them, to be magnanimous, to have tolerance, patience, forgiveness and understanding, and to be compassionate—this is normal humanity. Are there any lessons to be learned by pitching the gospel from a stall on the street? There are so many truths that we need to enter into and learn in this duty. Someone says: “I’m not compatible with anyone, so I want to do my duty on my own.” What do people like this lack? They lack the truth and they are without insight. They are so intolerant, they have no patience, and they are narrow-minded petty people with hearts full of jealousy. Are there many truths that should be sought when pitching the gospel from a stall on the street? Are there many things that should be learned? There are so many. As we believe in God and pursue the truth, no matter what kind of people we encounter, no matter what kind of people we associate with and no matter what kind of environment we find ourselves in, we can always seek the truth, there are always lessons to learn in practicing the truth, there are always opportunities to know ourselves and there is always the experience of being perfected to be had. For example, say you don’t know yourself too well and someone is arranged to work with you who is the opposite of your ideal. Would you be able to learn anything? If, when you interact with them, you discover: “I’m narrow-minded and I’m not compatible with anyone,” then isn’t this your shortcoming? This is your shortcoming. Are we far from living out a true human likeness? We are so far from it. Therefore, in the church, no matter what kind of people we come into contact with, there are always many lessons to learn. God arranges this kind of church life for us, and whether we encounter positive people or negative people, they are all beneficial for our lives to grow, and they are all indispensable. Someone says: “I still don’t know how to discern wicked people.” OK, so it’s arranged that a wicked person comes into contact with you—is this not an opportunity to be perfected? Someone says: “I just don’t know how to discern different kinds of people.” OK, so all different kinds of people will be arranged in turns for you to learn how to tell them apart—is this not an opportunity to be perfected? Do you not have lessons to learn now as you do your duty? Regardless of whether you gain new people or not, you must learn lessons. You mustn’t waste time and you mustn’t think, “I’m pitching the gospel today in order to gain people. I don’t need to attain anything else, I don’t need to gain the truth and I don’t need to gain life either.” This is just being silly. When we were small, we went up the mountain to get firewood. We saw a few dry sticks and gathered them up, then filled up a cart and pulled it back home. Sometimes we got some firewood and we could also pick up some other products from the mountain, and this is called hitting two birds with one stone, right? In summer, we went up the mountain to pick mushrooms as well as some wild fruits—two birds with one stone. We wouldn’t just go up the mountain for one thing, but rather we gathered whatever we saw and whatever was useful. This is what wise people do. So are there not many lessons that you should learn when performing your duty? There are so many lessons you should learn. Why don’t you learn lessons in your experiences? If you don’t learn anything then you’re silly, you are not a wise person, and you have no intelligence or wisdom. Are the lessons God arranges for us in our home environments good or not? Our home environments are His masterpiece. Some people don’t understand this, do they? What do I mean when I say, “Our home environments are God’s masterpiece”? God arranges around us all manner of people—parents, husbands, wives, children, relatives and friends—and these different kinds of people are there for us to learn lessons from, and they are there to render service in order to perfect us. If this was really true, then wouldn’t it be God’s masterpiece? Have you learned anything from this? If you haven’t learned anything, do you acknowledge that this is God’s masterpiece? If you don’t recognize God’s deeds and don’t see God’s deeds in these environments, then aren’t you blind? All the different people, matters and things around us are enough for us to be perfected, these are the things God uses to render service in order to perfect us. If you don’t know how to seek the truth and don’t know how to exercise entry into life, then you will never be able to be perfected, and this is the truth. Say, for example, you are a sister in the church and there are some restrictions which your husband wants to put on you. So you become weak, you lose confidence in your faith and you are constrained so that, in the end, you are defeated. What must you do if you want to overcome him? Convince him and shame him—this is formidable. Some people’s children don’t behave well and are very rebellious. How should they be treated? Don’t make too high demands on them and don’t force them to do things they’re unwilling to do, but learn to let nature take its course. Everyone has their own destiny, and for this you must be magnanimous and patient. In some families, the siblings don’t get along well with each other, as though they are inherently opposed to each other or as if enemies in a previous life have been born together into the same family. What can you do in this situation? You must practice being magnanimous, tolerant, patient and lenient. If you can achieve this, then it will be a very powerful way to handle this situation. Every person, matter and thing has a lesson for us to learn, right? They are all our lessons—remember these words. All people, matters and things are our lessons, and we shouldn’t lose even one of them. If, from every kind of person, we can learn something, develop some insight and increase our wisdom, until finally we are able to attain transcendence and not be constrained anymore, then this is formidable. If in your environment you are really able to learn how to seek the truth, practice the truth and enter into reality, then you can be perfected by God and you can then live out a genuine human life. One day when you really gain the truth, everyone around you will come to congratulate you and give you their approval, and say, “You are really great, I admire you, you’re better than me and I’d like to make friends with you,” or “I’m proud and honored to have you in our family.” At that time you will have learned your lessons, and you will have graduated. When we truly understand what seeking the truth is, what practicing the truth is and what gaining the truth is, and ultimately what exactly living out a true human likeness is like, we are then truly freed from Satan’s influence. Though we may mix with devils, we will not be disturbed by them. For example, a devil asks you: “What are you going there for?” “You still don’t get it? I’m going to do my duty.” They say: “I don’t object.” You say, “Thank you,” but in your heart you think “Even if you did object, it wouldn’t matter.” Is there any point in shouting and fighting? You can resolve problems without shouting, and you are not constrained by any person, matter or thing. You can abandon Satan wearing a very natural smile. When you are pitching the gospel on the street, do you still need to glare at devils if they come to harass and tempt you? Just reply smilingly to them. They say: “We don’t like this, we like money instead.” What should you say? You say: “Whoever gives us money is our father, and whoever feeds us is our mother.” When they hear this, they say: “Those words are fair enough. They are our life, our world view and our motto.” In your heart, you think, “This is the authentic devil Satan,” but you can’t say that, so you give a smile and just nod your head, and that’s that. What you said didn’t displease them, and you saw through them. Satan’s temptations are now easy to deal with, right? Answer them with a smile and they will have nothing to say and will be ashamed, and they will say, “You seem really wise.” Don’t get angry with them; just answer them so that they have nothing else to say, so that they are rendered speechless. Is it now easy to enter into the reality of the truth? How did you learn lessons before? How did you seek to be perfected? Were there any deviations? There were so many deviations before, you lost so many good chances and you lost a lot of opportunities to be perfected, and it was because you didn’t know how to pursue the truth. Without the truth, you are prone to follow rules and you can easily go to extremes.

If the truth is the reality of positive things and it is the life which we ought to possess in our normal humanity, then can one sentence or one rule take its place? No, it can’t. Take being an honest person, for example. You can’t just say it in one sentence: “Don’t tell lies and then you’re an honest person.” This won’t do. One sentence cannot be a substitute for this truth; this truth includes several indispensable aspects of reality. Practicing when you encounter an issue in a way that means you have no deception and no deceit within you, that means you don’t tell lies, and so you feel that what you do conforms to God’s will and to the truth—this is practicing the truth. Practicing the truth cannot be clearly explained in one sentence, but you can perceive: “Practicing in this way is quite appropriate. I’ve achieved a principled practice, I can satisfy God, and I have not gone against the truth.” This is practicing the truth—it’s this simple. Firstly, you are able to pass the test of your conscience; secondly, your thoughts are relatively clear, and you feel that your practice is relatively accurate and in conformity with God’s will; and thirdly, you achieve objective practical results. This proves that you are practicing the truth. Why is following rules not the same as practicing the truth? The main reason is because there are no principles to following rules—it’s just blindly applying rules. When there are no principles, then practicing the truth is not attained. Therefore, following rules is not practicing the truth. Practicing the truth means having a grasp on principles and handling matters according to principle; this meets the criterion of practicing the truth. If someone can seek the truth in all things so that they ultimately come to know how to practice the truth, then people like this have entered into the reality of the truth. What is meant by seeking the truth? It means seeking for the principles of practicing the truth. Understand the principles clearly, and you will know how to practice the truth. If you seek but cannot find the principles for the practice of a certain truth, then you are not seeking the truth, but instead are looking for rules to follow. If you want to regard this truth as a rule to be followed, then someone could fellowship with you for quite a long time, and you will be greatly disappointed when you don’t find the rule you’re looking for. In fact, what they’re fellowshiping with you are the principles of the truth, and if you truly understand what the truth is, then you will immediately know that what they’re fellowshiping about is the truth and that there are principles within it and, at that time, you will then grasp the principles for practicing this truth. This is a precise seeking of the truth and, furthermore, you will have your answers. After you have ascertained the precise principles for practicing the truth, you know how to practice. When you proceed to practice in this way, this is practicing the truth, and you have met the criterion for it because you handle matters with principle—this is the criterion for practicing the truth. Are you now clear on what practicing the truth is? So long as you have a grasp on the principles of practicing the truth, and you have a path of practice to follow and you have the principles of practice, then you will know how to practice the truth—it’s this simple. When someone seeks the truth in all things, they are primarily seeking the principles for practicing the truth. If they understand the principles clearly, then this means that they achieve results in their seeking of the truth and they get answers from it, and afterward they will have a way forward with practicing the truth. This is how simple this matter is; don’t make it complicated, for it’s not complicated at all. According to this principle, then, how is being an honest person practiced? How is doing one’s duty practiced? How is the church’s admittance of people practiced? How is spreading the gospel practiced? How do you practice when you come across someone you don’t understand enough? You will have a way forward in all these matters and more. You may seem to now have many difficulties within you, for things are always hard at the start. However, since you’ve already passed the threshold, entering into the reality of the truth will not be difficult and, at the very least, no matter how Satan may pull at you now, you will not succumb to its pull. We are now on the road to salvation and we have already embarked upon the ark—the ark of salvation. So it can be said that, on this road, the way will get brighter the further we follow it. What do I mean by “the way will get brighter the further we follow it”? I mean that the further we follow this path, the more knowledge we will have of the truth, and the clearer our understanding of the truth will become. And because the truth will get clearer and clearer to us, the way will also then become brighter and brighter. If you don’t thoroughly understand the truth, will your way be bright? When the truth is not perfectly clear to you, it’s like not knowing which way to turn at a cross junction. You are in complete darkness within and, if the lamp in your heart is not lit, then your eyes will be darkened and have no light. Some people show no radiance in their faces and have no light in their eyes, and they are dull-witted and numb—what does this prove? It proves that their heart is not brightened; when one’s heart is brightened, one then has joy, and when one’s heart is joyful and liberated, one’s face becomes radiant. So under what circumstances can someone have joy in their heart? It’s when they have gained the truth, and at last they are clear on what path to follow and they finally understand what the truth is. This is an event of great joy. When they are perfectly clear about the truth, when they are perfectly clear about the path they are to follow from now on, then they will follow the right path for the rest of their life and they will live in the light. And when someone lives in the light, they are not constrained by any person, matter or thing, and their spirit is entirely liberated and set free. No matter what issue people like this come across, God’s clear words are there to direct them and guide them—these are the people who live in the light. Is someone who lives in the light someone who has cast off Satan’s influence? They have utterly cast off Satan’s influence, and that’s for certain. When someone has truly cast off Satan’s influence, they then become wise, magnanimous and they have great patience. They have a good grasp of any issue the moment they encounter them, they do everything in a pleasantly easy way, very simply and quite directly, and people like this are completely liberated and set free. Those who are completely liberated and set free are those who have cast off Satan’s influence and attained salvation. As for all the various theories, they know what they mean the moment they hear them, and they know how to treat them. Everything is so simple for them, and these are the people who gain the truth.
