Chapter 32. What Kind of People Will Be Punished

Blasphemy and slander against God is a sin that will not be forgiven for this age and the coming age and those who commit this sin will never be reincarnated. This means that God’s disposition doesn’t tolerate mankind’s offense. Some people may say some unkind words or ugly words when they do not understand, or when they are deceived, restricted, controlled, or suppressed by others. But when they accept the true way in the future they will be filled with regret. They then conduct enough good deeds and are able to experience change and achieve understanding, and in this way their previous offense will no longer be remembered. You should know God fully, you should know whom those words of God are directed at and the context of those words, and you should not randomly apply God’s words, nor arbitrarily define the words of God. People who have no experience do not compare themselves against God’s words in anything. Whereas people with a little experience or some insight tend to be oversensitive. When they hear the words of God that curse, despise, hate or eliminate people, they take it all upon themselves. This shows that they do not understand the word of God, and they always misunderstand God. Some people pass judgment on God before they have read any book, made any investigation, heard any fellowship of those who understand God’s new work, or much less had any enlightenment of the Holy Spirit. Thereafter, someone preaches the gospel to them and they accept it. Later, they feel regretful for this matter, and they repent. Then, they will be viewed according to their future behavior. After they believe in God, if their behavior is particularly bad, and they write themselves off, saying “Anyway, I have spoken words of blasphemy and ugly words before. God has declared that people like me would be condemned. Well, my life is over,” then such people really are finished. With regard to people’s conditions, some ever resisted, some rebelled, others spoke words of complaint, engaged in misconduct, committed acts against the church or did things that damaged the family of God. Their outcomes will be determined with reference to their nature and the full breadth of their behavior. Some people are wicked, some are foolish, some are silly, and some are animals. People are all different. Some wicked people are possessed by evil spirits, while others are the messengers of the devil Satan. With regard to their natures, some are particularly sinister, some are particularly deceitful, some are especially greedy for money, while others are sexually promiscuous. Every person’s behavior is different, so each person should be viewed comprehensively according to their personal nature and behavior. In keeping with man’s mortal flesh, whoever he is, his instinct is to simply have a free will, to be only able to think about things but not to have the faculty to directly penetrate the spiritual world. Just like when you believe in the true God and would like to accept this stage of His new work, but without anyone preaching the gospel to you, with the Holy Spirit merely working, merely enlightening you and guiding you somewhere, it is impossible for you to know what God will accomplish in the future. People cannot fathom God, they do not have this faculty. People have no faculty to directly fathom the spiritual world, or to see through the work of God, much less to say that they will serve God most willingly like an angel. Unless God has conquered, saved and reformed people, or watered and supplied people with the things issued by God, people are unable to accept the new work. If God does not do this work, people will not have this within them, and this is decided by man’s instinct. So when I hear of such things as people resisting or rebelling, I seem to get very angry, but then, when I consider man’s instincts, I deal with it differently. Therefore, any work done by God is well measured. God knows what to do and how to do it. For those things people cannot do instinctually, He will certainly not require them to do. God deals with each person according to the background at the time, the actual situation, people’s actions, performance and expressions, and the environment and context people are in. God will never wrong anyone. This is the righteousness of God. As you see, Eve ate the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil when she was tricked by the serpent. But Jehovah did not reprove her, did He? He did not say: “Why do you eat? I told you not to eat, so why do you still eat? You should have discernment and should know that the serpent speaks only to seduce you.” He did not say this, nor did He blame her. As He created people, He knows what people’s instincts are, what their instincts are made of, to what extent people can control them, and what people can do. When God deals with someone, when He adopts an attitude toward someone—whether it is disdaining, hating, or disgusted—He does so based on a full understanding of the context of people’s words and their situations. People always think that God only has divinity, God is righteous and unoffendable. They think that He does not have any humanity, does not consider the difficulties of people, and does not put Himself in their place; that God will punish people as long as they do not follow the truth and that He will remember if someone resists even a little, and will punish them afterward. This really is not the case. If you understand God’s righteousness, God’s work, and God’s treatment of people in this way, then you are seriously mistaken. The basis that God uses to deal with people is unimaginable to man. God is righteous and will sincerely convince all people sooner or later.
