32 We Worship You, Almighty God Incarnate

Verse 1

In the last days God has become flesh

to express the truth, judge and purify man.

Like a sharp sword, His words

pierce our hearts and our souls,

showing us the truth of man’s corruption by Satan.

We are arrogant, deceitful, selfish and greedy.

Our conscience is lost, man we barely resemble.

Pre-chorus 1

We bow down on the ground.

We confess, we repent,

we are full of remorse.

Chorus 1

We worship You, Almighty God incarnate.

Your words conquer and purify us.

As we learn the truth,

we cast off our corrupt dispositions.

We thank You for Your love!

You save us from Satan’s influence.

We praise and worship You, Almighty God incarnate.

Verse 2

Almighty God has suffered shame to save us,

enduring persecution and hardship in silence.

Hidden and humble, He provides for us, He leads us.

He worries over our growth,

tolerating our rebellion, doing His utmost to save us.

Pre-chorus 2

God’s righteousness and love

have taken root within our hearts.

Chorus 2

We worship You, Almighty God incarnate.

Your concealment and humility are so lovely.

Your words and Your truth,

they have become our life.

We thank You for Your love!

You save us from Satan’s influence.

We praise and worship You, Almighty God incarnate.

Bridge

The Almighty transcends the heavens.

No one can understand His wisdom.

He uses the great red dragon as a foil

to serve the perfection of His people.

After pain and persecution,

we know the true face of the devils’ king.

We’ll be loyal to God,

bear testimony until our end.

Christ is the truth, the way, and the life.

Pre-chorus 3

We follow the Lamb.

We testify God’s righteousness forever.

Chorus 3

We worship You, Almighty God incarnate.

Your work is wise and, oh, so wondrous.

You’ve defeated Satan

and made a group of overcomers.

You have gained glory.

You’re the truth, the way, and the life.

We praise and worship You forever,

Almighty God incarnate.
