Verse 1
God’s given you many warnings.
To conquer you, truths He’s bestowed.
Don’t doubt or drop His words at will;
for God that’s an absolute no.
Pre-chorus
You’re suspicious of God and His words,
never taking in what He says.
So, God tells each of you
in all seriousness:
Don’t ever connect His words
with philosophy or lies,
even more, do not deal with
His words with scornful eyes.
Chorus
God hopes that you will be able
to believe every word He says,
and more that you’ll understand
the deep meaning of what He says.
Verse 2
Don’t judge or take God’s words lightly,
or say that God always tempts you.
Don’t say His words aren’t accurate.
For these things He will not excuse.
