168 Christ of the Last Days Is Man’s Gate Into the Kingdom

Verse 1

God now works not in a spiritual body,

but the body of His second incarnation.

He’s an ordinary flesh, looks the same as others,

yet He can provide truths you’ve never heard.

Verse 2

This trivial flesh holds all of God’s words of truth,

this flesh undertakes God’s work in the last days,

He also expresses God’s disposition

in its entirety for man to come to know.

Chorus

Didn’t you greatly desire to see God in heaven?

To understand Him and see man’s destination?

He’ll tell you the secrets that no man could tell you,

He’ll explain the truths that you don’t understand.

He is your gate into the kingdom,

He’s your guide into the new age.

Verse 3

Such an ordinary flesh holds boundless mysteries.

His deeds seem cryptic, but His work’s goal shows

that He’s not as simple flesh as man believes,

for He shows God’s will and care for man in the last days.

Chorus

Didn’t you greatly desire to see God in heaven?

To understand Him and see man’s destination?

He’ll tell you the secrets that no man could tell you,

He’ll explain the truths that you don’t understand.

He is your gate into the kingdom,

He’s your guide into the new age.

Bridge

You can’t hear His words shaking heaven and earth

or see His eyes like flames, feel His iron rod,

but you can hear the fury of God in His words,

and know that God shows compassion for mankind.

You will see His righteous disposition, His wisdom,

and realize God’s concern and care for all mankind.

Chorus

Didn’t you greatly desire to see God in heaven?

To understand Him and see man’s destination?

He’ll tell you the secrets that no man could tell you,

He’ll explain the truths that you don’t understand.

He is your gate into the kingdom,

He’s your guide into the new age.
