This book gathers together the questions and notions common to people who seek and investigate the true way, to which it provides solutions that integrate the words of Almighty God. These questions and answers are of great benefit to people in understanding the truth and investigating the true way, and are also an indispensable reference for God’s chosen people as they spread His words and testify to His work. God’s sheep hear His voice, and if, having read this book, they are able to discover the truth and recognize that the words of Almighty God are the voice of God, then they are the wise virgins who have welcomed the Lord.

Introduction

I. Questions and Answers on the Return of the Lord Jesus

1You testify that the Lord has become flesh, secretly descended to earth, and is performing the work of judgment beginning from the house of God. How is this possible? The Bible explicitly prophesies, “And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory” (Mat 24:30). “Behold, He comes with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him” (Rev 1:7). We believe that when the Lord returns, He should do so with clouds and appear openly to all peoples. Yet you testify that the Lord has already become flesh and secretly descended to earth, which is completely different from our understanding. What’s going on here?
2Concerning the return of the Lord, the Bible clearly states, “But of that day and hour knows no man, not the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but My Father only” (Mat 24:36). No one knows when the Lord will come, yet The Church of Almighty God is testifying that the Lord Jesus has already returned. How do you know this?
3You testify that the Lord Jesus has returned in the flesh. So where is the Lord now? Why haven’t we seen Him? Seeing is believing, so the fact that we haven’t seen Him proves that the Lord has not yet returned. I’ll believe it when I see it.
4We’ve believed in the Lord for many years and have always worked hard for Him, vigilantly awaiting His return. We believe that we should be the first to receive revelation about the Lord’s return. You now testify that the Lord Jesus has returned, so why haven’t we received revelation about this? That we haven’t proves that the Lord has not returned. Is it wrong for us to think this?
5In the ages of both the Old and New Testaments, God worked in Israel. The Lord Jesus prophesied that He would return during the last days, so when He returns, He should arrive in Israel. Yet you testify that the Lord Jesus has already returned, that He has appeared in the flesh and is performing His work in China. China is a nation ruled by an atheistic political party. In no country is there greater resistance to God and persecution of Christians. How could the Lord’s return be to China?
6We have read many of Almighty God’s words. They possess authority and power, and they are indeed the voice of God. Yet the pastors and elders say that in the Bible it is written, “I marvel that you are so soon removed from Him that called you into the grace of Christ to another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than that which we have preached to you, let him be accursed” (Gal 1:6–8). Going by these words spoken by Paul, the pastors and elders say that our belief in Almighty God strays from the name of the Lord Jesus, and from the way of the Lord Jesus. They say we believe in another gospel, and that this is apostasy, a betrayal of the Lord. Though we feel what they say to be wrong, we can’t say for sure in what way they are wrong. Please fellowship with us about this.
7In the Bible it is written, “For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first” (1Ts 4:16). You testify that the Lord Jesus has returned, but we have not heard the shout, or the voice of the archangel, or the trump of God, nor have we beheld the dead saints rise again. So how can it be proven that the Lord has returned?
8We believe that the wise virgins’ preparing of the oil refers to being unfailing in prayer, in reading the Scriptures, and in attending assembly, working diligently for the Lord, and vigilantly awaiting the Lord’s return. This is what it means to be a wise virgin, and when the Lord returns, we shall welcome the bridegroom and attend the feast of the Lamb.
II. Questions and Answers on the Incarnation

1You testify that the Lord Jesus has returned, and that He has become flesh to perform His work. How is this possible? The Bible says: “You men of Galilee, why stand you gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as you have seen Him go into heaven” (Act 1:11). After the Lord Jesus finished the work of the crucifixion, He rose from the dead and appeared to His disciples. He became a glorious spiritual body and ascended to heaven. When the Lord returns, He should also appear to us as a spiritual body risen from the dead. Why do you say that God must become flesh and appear and work as the Son of man in the last days?
2I have believed in the Lord for many years, and I have read the Bible a great deal. Why have I read no prophecy of the Lord becoming flesh as the Son of man and doing the work of judgment in the last days? You testify that the Lord Jesus has returned in the flesh, that He is Almighty God, and that He is performing the work of judgment of the last days. Is there any basis for this in the Bible?
3I have believed in the Lord Jesus for many years, and although I’m aware that the Lord Jesus is God become flesh, I don’t fully understand the truth of the incarnation. If, when the Lord returns, He really does appear as the Lord Jesus did, working as the Son of man, then it will be impossible for us to recognize Him or to welcome His coming. I feel that the incarnation is a mystery, and only a handful of people understand the truth of the incarnation. Please fellowship with me on what exactly the incarnation is.
4According to what is written in the Bible, the Lord Jesus is Christ become flesh, He is the Son of God. Yet you testify that the incarnate Christ is the appearance of God, He is God Himself. If the Lord Jesus is God Himself, how can the Lord Jesus pray to His Father when He prays? Is the incarnate Christ the Son of God or God Himself?
5The work of the Age of Law was done through Jehovah God’s use of Moses. Why does God not use someone to do the work of judgment of the last days? Why must He become flesh and carry out this work Himself?
6During the Age of Grace, God became flesh and served as a sin offering for mankind, thus redeeming mankind from sin. God has become flesh once again in the last days. He expresses the truth and does the work of judgment, utterly cleansing mankind and saving mankind from the influence of Satan. Why must He become flesh twice to perform the work of mankind’s salvation? What is the true significance of these two incarnations?
7You say that the Lord Jesus has returned in the flesh, in the form of a Chinese person. We can’t accept that. According to what is written in the Bible, the Lord Jesus departed in the form of a Jew, so we believe that when the Lord returns during the last days, it should also be in the form of a Jew. How could He come in the form of a Chinese person?
8You testify that God of the last days has been incarnated as a woman. We can’t accept that. It is written in the Bible that Jesus called the God in heaven the Father, and the God in heaven called Jesus the beloved Son. Are fathers and sons not male? The Bible also says that, “the head of the woman is the man” (1Co 11:3). Women therefore have no authority, so why do you say that God of the last days has been incarnated as a woman?
III. Questions and Answers on the Work of Judgment in the Last Days

1We believe that the Great White Throne Judgment refers to a great table set out by God in heaven, with each person kneeling on the ground to confess the sins they committed throughout their lives, after which God determines whether they enter the kingdom of heaven or descend to hell. You, meanwhile, testify that God has come to earth in the flesh and that He is expressing the truth and performing the work of judgment of the last days. Why does this differ from our own understanding? Just what is God’s judgment of the last days all about?
2We believe that the Great White Throne Judgment prophesied in the Book of Revelation is aimed at the unbelievers who belong to the devil Satan. When the Lord comes, those who believe in Him shall be raised into heaven, following which the Lord shall rain down disasters to destroy the unbelievers. This is the Great White Throne Judgment, yet you testify that the judgment of God of the last days has already begun. So why have we not beheld God raining down disasters to destroy the unbelievers? How could this be the Great White Throne Judgment?
3Upon the cross, the Lord Jesus said, “It is finished” (Jhn 19:30), thus proving that God’s work of saving mankind was fully accomplished. Since we believe in the Lord Jesus, our sins have already been forgiven, and we are justified by our faith. When the Lord comes, we shall be raised directly into the heavenly kingdom. Why must God still express the truth and perform the work of judging and purifying man?
4You say that if we do not accept God’s work of judgment of the last days, we shall not be cleansed, and thus will not be fit to enter the kingdom of God. We do not believe this. Although we are still capable of sin and are bound by the flesh, it is clearly stated in the Bible that “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed” (1Co 15:52). We believe that God is almighty: A single utterance from God created the heavens and earth and all things, and a single utterance from God can raise people from the dead. When God comes, He will be able to instantly change our form and raise us into the kingdom of heaven. We therefore do not need God to become flesh in the last days and express the truth and perform the work of judgment and purification.
5You testify that the Lord has returned to do the work of judgment of the last days, but the Lord Jesus said, “For if I go not away, the Comforter will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He is come, He will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment” (Jhn 16:7–8). We believe that after the resurrection and ascension of the Lord Jesus, the Holy Spirit came down to work upon man during the Pentecost, reproving man of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. So long as we confess our sins and repent to the Lord, we shall be reproached and disciplined by the Holy Spirit, and this is our judgment by the Lord. Just what is the difference between the work of judgment of the last days that you speak of, and the work of the Lord Jesus?
6You say that God expresses the truth to judge and cleanse man in the last days. God speaks words judging mankind in both the Old and New Testaments—God’s judgment has never left man. Are you saying that these words are incapable of judging and cleansing man? What is the difference between the words of judgment expressed by God in the last days, and God’s words which judge man as recorded in the Bible?
7You testify that God does the work of judgment during the last days in order to utterly cleanse man and save man, but I have read the words expressed by Almighty God, and some of them are quite severe—they condemn and curse man. Is this not the punishment of man? How can it be called the cleansing and salvation of man?
8We believe that the Lord Jesus is the Savior because He forgave us our sins and redeemed us from our sins. You now testify that Almighty God is Christ of the last days, the appearance of the Savior, and that He is expressing the truth and performing the work of judgment beginning from the house of God to utterly cleanse and save man, and to free man from the dark influence of Satan. How does Almighty God utterly cleanse and save man?
9The Israelites have believed in Jehovah for generation upon generation, and people who believe in the Lord Jesus can be found all over the world. Since Jehovah, the Lord Jesus, and Almighty God are one God, why do you say that regardless of whether people believe in Jehovah or Jesus, if they do not accept the last-days judgment work of Almighty God, they will be eliminated?
IV. Questions and Answers on the Name of God

1You testify that the Lord Jesus has returned in the last days and that He has a new name, Almighty God. How is this possible? The Bible clearly says, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Act 4:12). “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever” (Heb 13:8). We believe that the name of the Lord Jesus can never change, and that He can be called by no other name upon His return.
2You testify that the returned God of the last days is called Almighty God. We believe that the name “Almighty God” refers to the omnipotence of God and is not a new name for God. Why do you say that “Almighty God” is the new name of God?
3You testify that Jehovah, the Lord Jesus, and Almighty God are all the names of God in different ages. I’d like to ask why God adopts different names in different ages? What is the significance of this?
V. Questions and Answers on the Bible

1The Bible is testimony to the Lord, and it is also the basis of our faith. For two thousand years, all who’ve believed in the Lord have done so according to the Bible. We therefore believe that the Bible represents the Lord, that to believe in the Lord is to believe in the Bible, and to believe in the Bible is to believe in the Lord. We can never depart from the Bible. How could we believe in the Lord if we were to depart from the Bible? Are you saying there is something wrong with our understanding?
2You testify that the Lord Jesus has returned, that He is Almighty God, and that He is expressing truths to carry out the work of judgment beginning from the house of God. Yet the pastors and elders say that the words and work of God are all recorded in the Bible, and that the truths of the Bible are whole and complete. They say that there can be no words and work by God outside of the Bible, and that anything outside of the Bible is heresy. How should we regard this issue?
3Based on the words of Paul, who said that “All scripture is given by inspiration of God” (2Ti 3:16), the pastors and elders of the religious world believe that the words of the Bible are the words of God. Yet you say that not all the words in the Bible are the words of God. What do you mean by this?
4I’ve been studying the Bible for over twenty years. I’ve learned that although the Bible was written by more than 40 different authors at different times, it does not contain a single error. This proves that God is the true author of the Bible, and that all Scripture comes from the Holy Spirit.
5The Bible is testimony to the work of God. It is through the Bible that all who believe in the Lord acknowledge that the heavens and earth and all things were created by God. It is because of the Bible that they behold the wonder, greatness, and omnipotence of God’s deeds. What’s more, the Bible contains many words of God and experiential testimonies of man that are able to provide for the life of man, and are greatly edifying to man. Can we gain eternal life from reading the Bible? Or does the Bible not contain the way of eternal life?
6You testify that The Word Appears in the Flesh is the little scroll opened by the Lamb foretold in the Book of Revelation. We do not believe so. We believe that the “little scroll” refers to the Bible, the Bible is the little scroll, and it is enough that we only read the Bible.
7You testify that The Word Appears in the Flesh contains the new words of God, but the Book of Revelation explicitly states, “For I testify to every man that hears the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add to these things, God shall add to him the plagues that are written in this book” (Rev 22:18). Is this not adding to the Bible?
8For two thousand years, man’s faith in the Lord has been based upon the Bible. After Almighty God began the work of judgment of the last days, all who accepted Almighty God focused on reading the words of Almighty God, and seldom read the Bible. What I want to know is, after they accept Almighty God’s work of the last days, how can people correctly approach and use the Bible?
VI. Questions and Answers on Being Saved and Being Fully Saved

1You say that people can only be cleansed and fully saved if they accept God’s work of judgment of the last days. We do not believe so. The Bible says: “For with the heart man believes to righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to salvation” (Rom 10:10). “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus” (Rom 8:1). We have already been forgiven our sins and are justified by our faith by believing in the Lord Jesus. We are delivered once and forever, and when the Lord returns, we shall be taken directly into heaven. Why then do you say we must accept God’s work of judgment in the last days in order to be fully saved?
2We have always believed that to be forgiven our sins through our belief in the Lord Jesus is to obtain the grace of salvation, yet you say that “being saved” does not mean true salvation. So just what does it mean to be saved, and what does it mean to be fully saved? What is the essential difference between being saved and being fully saved?
VII. Questions and Answers on Being Caught Up

1The Bible says: “Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord” (1Ts 4:17). We believe that once the Lord arrives, we will be caught up directly into the clouds in the sky to meet with Him. You testify that the Lord has returned, so why have we not been caught up?
2Before, the pastors often preached that when the Lord comes, we would be caught up into heaven before the disasters, but now we see every kind of major disaster befalling the earth and we have not been caught up. The pastors say that our not having been caught up means the Lord has not yet returned, that the Lord will appear to us amid the disasters, and we will be caught up into heaven during the disasters. I don’t understand: Are we to be caught up before the disasters, or during them?
VIII. Questions and Answers on Entering the Kingdom of Heaven

1You say that we must accept God’s work of judgment of the last days, as only then will our corrupt satanic dispositions be cleansed and changed, and only then will we enter the kingdom of God. So, as the Lord requires, we are humble and tolerant, we love our enemies, we bear our cross, we discipline our body, we forsake worldly things, we work and preach for the Lord, and so on. Are these not all changes that have occurred in us? Are you saying that this is still not enough for us to enter the heavenly kingdom? I believe that as long as we continue striving in this way, we will become holy and will enter the heavenly kingdom.
2The apostle Paul said, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: From now on there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness” (2Ti 4:7–8). We have believed in the Lord for many years, and throughout, we have emulated Paul in running the course and working for the Lord. We have spread the gospel and built churches, and we have kept to the name of the Lord and the way of the Lord. There is no question that the crown of righteousness shall be laid up for us. As long as we are diligent in our labor for the Lord and vigilant in awaiting the return of the Lord, we shall be raptured directly into the kingdom of heaven. Are you saying there is something wrong with what we practice?
3The Lord Jesus said: “Not every one that said to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of My Father which is in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name? and in Your name have cast out devils? and in Your name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess to them, I never knew you: depart from Me, you that work iniquity” (Mat 7:21–23). Those who say “Lord, Lord” all believe in and serve the Lord. They have always made sacrifices, expended themselves, and worked hard for the Lord, and they have spread the gospel and built churches. Have they not followed the Lord’s will by doing all this? When the Lord Jesus returns, why will they not be commended by the Lord, and instead be condemned by Him as evildoers?
IX. Questions and Answers on the Way of Eternal Life

1The Lord Jesus said: “But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life” (Jhn 4:14). So, too, does the Bible say: “He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life” (Jhn 3:36). We believe that the Lord Jesus is Christ, the Son of Man, and that the way of the Lord Jesus is the way of eternal life. We believe that as long as we believe in the Lord, we will be able to attain eternal life. Yet you testify that only Christ of the last days, Almighty God, can bestow the way of eternal life unto man. Are you saying that if we follow the Lord Jesus, we will not be able to attain the way of eternal life? Why do we need to accept the words and work of Almighty God, Christ of the last days?
2The Lord Jesus and Almighty God are one God. They perform different work in different ages. The Lord Jesus did the work of redemption and preached the way of repentance, and Almighty God does the work of judgment and cleansing in the last days, and brings the way of eternal life. So just what is the difference between the way of repentance and the way of eternal life?
3If we accept the work of the last days of Almighty God, just what should we pursue in order to gain the way of eternal life?
X. Questions and Answers on How to Listen to God’s Voice and Welcome the Lord

1The Lord Jesus said: “My sheep hear My voice” (Jhn 10:27). When the Lord returns, He shall speak His utterances and go in search of His sheep. Critical to awaiting the return of the Lord is seeking the voice of God, but we are unable to distinguish between the voice of God and the voice of man. Please fellowship on this with us.
2You testify that the Lord Jesus has returned, that He is Almighty God incarnate, who is expressing all truths that can cleanse and save mankind, and that He is doing the work of judgment beginning from the house of God. So how should we recognize the voice of God, and how can we be sure that Almighty God is the return of the Lord Jesus?
3You testify that The Word Appears in the Flesh was personally uttered by God, yet there are those who believe that these words were spoken by someone who was enlightened by the Holy Spirit. Just what is the difference between words expressed by the incarnate God, and words spoken by someone enlightened by the Holy Spirit?
4What is the difference between the words of God conveyed by the prophets of Isaiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel in the Age of Law, and the words of God expressed by the incarnate God?
XI. Questions and Answers on How to Differentiate Between the True Christ and False Christs

1There are currently a number of incidences of deception by false Christs in various religious communities throughout the world. Unable to see this deception for what it really is, many people have followed these false Christs, thus fulfilling the Lord Jesus’ prophecy: “Then if any man shall say to you, See, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect” (Mat 24:23–24). We therefore believe that anyone who is testified to as being the coming of the Lord is unquestionably a false Christ, and there is no need to seek them out and investigate them. Are we wrong to believe this?
2Recently, I’ve read many of Almighty God’s words, and have found that they possess both power and authority. Every one of His utterances is the truth, they are indeed the voice of God, and Almighty God is the return of the Lord Jesus. But there is one thing I don’t understand: There are some people who are now pretending to be the return of the Lord Jesus, and they, too have spoken words. Some of their words have been made into books, and a number of people have been tricked into following them. How can we tell the words of false Christs for what they really are?
XII. Questions and Answers on How to Differentiate Between the True Way and False Ways

1You testify that “Eastern Lightning” is the true way, but the CCP and most of the pastors and elders from the religious world now oppose and condemn Almighty God’s work of the last days, which demonstrates that “Eastern Lightning” cannot possibly be the true way. Is there something wrong with our understanding of this?
2You testify that Almighty God is the return of the Lord Jesus, and that He is expressing the truth and performing the work of judgment of the last days. Although what you testify to is in line with the Bible, many people in our church do not accept it. We believe that, to be the true way, it has to be accepted by many people, and that what is accepted by few people is a false way. We’ll wait until many people in our church accept this before we start believing in it.
3Our conviction that the work of the Lord Jesus is the true way is because the Lord Jesus can redeem us and forgive us our sins. So what proof do you have to support your testimony that “Eastern Lightning” is the true way?
XIII. Questions and Answers on How to Differentiate Between Religion and the Church

1Today, many people in the religious world feel there is no light to the preachings of pastors. They see the faith of believers dwindling, and people discuss only physical pleasures and chase after the trends of the world, and some even do business in the churches. They worry that their church is a false church, and that they will be abandoned by the Lord when He returns. But there are also those who believe that their churches couldn’t possibly be false churches because they hold such lively events as Bible contests, Holy Communion, and celebrations of various festivals. So how should we identify false churches?
2Various religious denominations now appear to dutifully abide by religious ceremony, but the pastors focus only on preaching words and phrases from the Bible and theological theories, and the enlightenment and illumination of the Holy Spirit are entirely absent. Believers’ lives go entirely unprovided for. They have believed in the Lord for many years but are ignorant of the truth and incapable of putting the words of the Lord into practice. Their faith in the Lord has become nothing but a religious belief. I don’t understand why churches today have descended into religion.
XIV. Questions and Answers on the Appearance and Work of God, and the Origins of the Church

1The prophecies in the Bible concerning the Lord’s return have now all largely been fulfilled, and the Lord may well be here already. We see that The Church of Almighty God is publicly testifying online that Almighty God is the return of the Lord Jesus, and many people from all religions and denominations who truly believe in the Lord and yearn for the appearance of God have returned to Almighty God. We would like to know just whether Almighty God is the appearance of God or not.
2As we understand it, several prestigious international religious experts and academics have recognized that The Church of Almighty God is an emerging Christian church. What is the difference between The Church of Almighty God and traditional Christianity?
XV. Questions and Answers on How to Identify Religious Antichrists

1Before the arrival of the Lord Jesus, the Pharisees would often expound the Scriptures in the synagogues and pray before people. They appeared very pious, and, in people’s eyes, it didn’t seem like they did anything that violated Scripture. So why were the Pharisees cursed by the Lord Jesus? In what ways did they defy God, why did they incite God’s wrath?
2The pastors and elders of the religious world are all well-versed in the Bible and often expound on it to others, asking that people adhere to the Bible. In so doing, do they not elevate and testify to the Lord? How can you say that they are deceiving people, that they are hypocritical Pharisees?
3The pastors and elders of the religious world all serve God in churches. They are supposed to be vigilant and heedful in awaiting the Lord’s return. So why do they not only make no effort to seek out or investigate Almighty God’s work of the last days, but instead spread rumors, pass judgment on and condemn Almighty God, and try to deceive believers and stop them from investigating the true way?
4The religious world frantically resists and condemns Almighty God. It has committed evil act after evil act, becoming a staunch bastion of antichrists. But what will the religious world’s outcome and end be for believing in God but opposing God’s work of the last days?
XVI. Questions and Answers on How to Differentiate Between Following God and Following Man

1In the Bible, Paul said “Let every soul be subject to the higher powers. For there is no power but of God” (Rom 13:1). “Take heed therefore to yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to feed the church of God” (Act 20:28). Most people in the religious world go by the words of Paul in their belief that pastors and elders are appointed by the Lord, and that they serve the Lord in churches. They believe that those who listen to and obey the pastors and elders obey and follow the Lord, and to listen to the words of the pastors is to listen to the words of the Lord. Is this in line with the Lord’s will?
2The pastors and elders have believed in the Lord for many years, they are highly knowledgeable about the Bible, and their faith is superior to ours, so we should listen to them in our faith in the Lord. You testify that the Lord Jesus has returned and is doing the work of judgment beginning from the house of God, but most pastors and elders do not accept this, and even go so far as to oppose and condemn it. As such, we cannot accept it, either.
3In the religious world, the pastors and elders hold power. They walk the path of the hypocritical Pharisees, and although we follow them and do as they say, we believe in the Lord Jesus, not the pastors and elders. How then can you say we also walk the path of the Pharisees? Are you saying that those of us who believe in God in religion really won’t be saved?

Why does it treat Christians as arch criminals, using revolutionary means to suppress, persecute, and even torture them to death?

The CCP has not only used television, radio, newspapers, the internet and other media to slander, frame and discredit The Church of Almighty God, but has also conducted wide-scale arrests of its members, resulting in many Christians being imprisoned and cruelly tortured, and even being tortured to death. Why is the CCP’s persecution of The Church of Almighty God so severe?
3In the Bible, Paul said, “Let every soul be subject to the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whoever therefore resists the power, resists the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation” (Rom 13:1–2). Practicing according to the words of Paul, we should submit to the ruling powers in all things. And yet, the atheistic CCP government has persecuted religious belief throughout its history. It is hostile to God, and not only does it not permit us to believe in the Lord, but it also arrests and persecutes those who spread the gospel and testify to God. If we bow to the Chinese Communist government, cease to believe in the Lord, and stop spreading the gospel and testifying to God, will we not be standing on the side of Satan by opposing and turning our backs on the Lord? I really can’t figure this out: Just what must I do to conform with the Lord’s will in matters of the ruling powers?

1You testify that The Church of Almighty God has its origins in the appearance and work of Christ of the last days, Almighty God, but the atheistic CCP government and the leaders of the religious world condemn you as heretical and as a xie jiao. So how can we have discernment over what the CCP and religious world say?
2The CCP has disseminated information online saying that in order to spread the gospel and testify to God, people who believe in Almighty God give up their families and jobs. Some people even remain unmarried their whole lives. The CCP says that your beliefs destroy families. Is what the CCP says true?
3I see that The Church of Almighty God does nothing more than spread the gospel and testify to God’s work of the last days, asking that people be honest and walk the right path of human life. But the CCP is disseminating information saying that the church’s ultimate aim in spreading the gospel is to overthrow CCP rule. How can I know whether the CCP’s words are true or false?
4Although you believe in Almighty God, read the words of Almighty God, and pray to the name of Almighty God, the CCP is disseminating information saying that The Church of Almighty God was created by a man, and you do whatever he says. You testify that this person is a priest, a man used by God, and that he is responsible for all administrative affairs. I can’t figure it out—just who founded The Church of Almighty God? What are its origins? Can you explain this?
5Following the incident in Zhaoyuan, Shandong on May 28, the CCP government stepped up its efforts to attack house churches, and even went so far as to mobilize armed police to suppress and crack down on The Church of Almighty God. Many people have expressed doubts about the Zhaoyuan incident, believing this to be an attempt by the CCP to attack and suppress The Church of Almighty God by fabricating a false case to turn public opinion against it. Despite that, the case was publicly tried in a CCP court and reported by major Chinese media outlets, and some people believe what the CCP said. We’d like to hear what you think about the incident in Zhaoyuan.
6You testify that Christ of the Last Days, Almighty God, is the return of the Lord Jesus, and that He is expressing all truths for the judgment, purification, and salvation of mankind. Yet the CCP claims that the “Almighty God” you believe in is just an ordinary person. The CCP knows everything about this person’s family background, and has even posted this person’s photo, name, and family address online. I can’t get this straight—is what the CCP says true or false?
7You testify that the Lord Jesus has returned, and that He is Christ of the last days, Almighty God. But the pastors and elders of the religious world say that what you believe in is not the Lord Jesus, and that The Church of Almighty God does not belong to Christianity. Is there any credence to the words of these pastors and elders?
8The Church of Almighty God testifies that the Lord Jesus has returned, and you spread the gospel to people of all religions and denominations. Many who truly believe in the Lord have left their churches and started believing in Almighty God—are you not stealing sheep from other churches?
9You testify that “Eastern Lightning” is the appearance and work of Christ of the last days, Almighty God, but I’ve read many articles on well-known websites like Baidu and Wikipedia that condemn, attack, and vilify The Church of Almighty God. I know that the information on Baidu is monitored and controlled by the CCP, and that it isn’t necessarily trustworthy. But foreign websites such as Wikipedia have also followed the CCP and religious world in condemning you. I can’t work it out—are the statements made on these websites true or false?

1Through reading the words of Almighty God and listening to the fellowships and testimonies of the brothers and sisters, I’ve become certain that Almighty God is the return of the Lord Jesus, and I now accept Almighty God’s work of the last days. But some displeasing and unsettling things have occurred in my family recently. Why do such things happen, and how should I experience them?
2Recently, after reading some of Almighty God’s words and listening to the fellowships and testimonies of the brothers and sisters of The Church of Almighty God, I have felt greatly provided for and edified in my spirit. I understand much more now than I did during the years I spent worshiping the Lord, so Almighty God must be the return of the Lord Jesus. But since my pastor found out that I’d been looking into Almighty God’s work of the last days, he has been doing everything he can to stop me. He hassles me about it every day. He has even asked my family to keep an eye on me and not let me read the words of Almighty God or listen to the church’s sermons. I feel really hurt inside. How should I experience these things?
3I acknowledge that what is preached by The Church of Almighty God is the true way, but because the people in our church have been deceived by the lies and fallacies spread by the pastors and elders, they’re all hostile to The Church of Almighty God. I’m worried that after accepting Almighty God’s work of the last days, I’ll be rejected and vilified by my brothers and sisters from my old church. My stature is too small, and I’m not brave enough to face all this—what should I do?

Why is every denomination beset by such famine?

Now more and more people who truly believe in God from all religions and denominations have joined The Church of Almighty God. Why is The Church of Almighty God thriving, while the entire religious community is so desolate?

2Because they have not seen God, some people say that there is no God in the world, while others use their personal experiences to testify to the existence of God. We don’t know if there really is a God, so how can we determine whether God exists or not?

Looking back, they recollect their lives: going to school, working, getting married, having children, awaiting death, their whole lives spent busily rushing around for the sake of family, money, status, fortune and prestige, utterly devoid of the true direction and objectives of human existence, and unable to find any value or meaning in being alive. So people live generation after generation in this painful and empty way. Why are people’s lives so painful and empty? And how can the pain and emptiness of human existence be resolved?
4If we do not believe in God, and are merely virtuous, doing good and committing no evil, will we be saved by God?
5It is good to believe in God, but I think all religions teach people to be good people. So no matter which religion people believe in, as long as they are sincere and commit no evil, surely they will be saved by God?
6I believe there is a God, but I’m still young, I have to work hard for my family and my career, and there’s still so much I want to do. Will I still be saved if I wait until I’m old and have the time to believe in God?
7Some people think that believing in God means being committed to attending church on Sundays, making donations and being charitable, and regularly attending church activities. They believe that by doing these things, they can be saved. Are such views in line with God’s will?

How will God treat those who blindly accept these rumors and fallacies, and make no effort to seek out and investigate the true way? What kind of end will they have?
3Some people have acknowledged that Almighty God is the return of the Lord Jesus, but because they are afraid of being arrested and persecuted by the CCP and intimidated and threatened by the pastors and elders of the religious community, they dare not accept the true way. What will the end of such people be?

1Today, the earth is beset by disasters like earthquakes, famines, plagues, floods, and droughts. These disasters are growing in scale, and causing ever more deaths. God loves man and saves man, so why must He rain down such great disasters?
2The pastors often tell us that although disaster after disaster rains down, we must not be afraid, for the Bible tells us: “A thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you” (Psm 91:7). If we have faith in the Lord, and continue to pray, read the Bible, and gather together, disaster shall not befall us. But there are some religious pastors and Christians who have died in these disasters. They all read the Bible, prayed, and served the Lord, so why did God not protect them?
3Today, disasters are occurring with increasing severity and frequency. These signs indicate that the great disasters of the last days foretold in the Bible are about to begin. How can we gain God’s protection and survive amidst these disasters?

XXVIII. Questions and Answers About How the Heavenly Kingdom Appears on Earth

1The Lord made us a promise, saying, “I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also” (Jhn 14:2–3). The Lord Jesus resurrected and ascended to heaven to prepare a place for us, and so this place ought to be in heaven. Yet you testify that the Lord Jesus has returned and established God’s kingdom on earth. I don’t understand: Is the heavenly kingdom in heaven or on earth?
