5. Following the incident in Zhaoyuan, Shandong on May 28, the CCP government stepped up its efforts to attack house churches, and even went so far as to mobilize armed police to suppress and crack down on The Church of Almighty God. Many people have expressed doubts about the Zhaoyuan incident, believing this to be an attempt by the CCP to attack and suppress The Church of Almighty God by fabricating a false case to turn public opinion against it. Despite that, the case was publicly tried in a CCP court and reported by major Chinese media outlets, and some people believe what the CCP said. We’d like to hear what you think about the incident in Zhaoyuan.

The Shandong Zhaoyuan Case—which was singlehandedly fabricated by the CCP—had a great impact both in China and abroad at the time and many ignorant people were deceived by it. But will the world ever fall for it? Today, how many people still trust the judgments of the CCP’s law courts and the reports of its media? Deceit and concealment can never last for long; lies will always be lies, and can never become truth. Everyone who understands the CCP knows that China is ruled by a Communist dictatorship and has no judicial independence or freedom of the press. CCP judges have no independence; they have to do as the CCP government says and all cases are handled according to the will of the government. China’s media, too, are controlled by the CCP government, and are nothing but a mouthpiece and tool of the CCP dictatorship. These are accepted facts. There is no question, then, that cases in CCP law courts are ridiculous farces that distort the facts and turn the truth on its head. There is no impartiality or fairness at all! During the public trial of the Shandong Zhaoyuan Incident, the suspects clearly stated, “I have never been in contact with The Church of Almighty God,” and “What the state is attacking is Zhao Weishan’s ‘Almighty God,’ not our ‘Almighty God.’” Their confessions make it abundantly clear that they are not members of The Church of Almighty God, and neither are they recognized by The Church of Almighty God; they have nothing to do with The Church of Almighty God. So why did the CCP judge feign deafness to this and not adjudicate the case according to the facts? Why, in the absence of any evidence, did the judge blatantly contradict the confessions of the suspects and deliberately distort the facts, turn the truth on its head, and persist in labeling these suspects as members of The Church of Almighty God? Is it not obvious that the CCP was fabricating lies to frame and falsely accuse The Church of Almighty God, to suppress and persecute the Church and turn public opinion against it? Did this not contravene the facts, did it not trample over the law? Were these not bare-faced lies? How could such a judgment not be called into doubt? The CCP has been spreading lies and deception for years. It is growing ever more notorious and depraved, corrupt and evil. Its reputation is in tatters; both at home and abroad, its stench is unbearable. Ever more people across the world are seeing the CCP for what it really is; no one believes the CCP any more, because the CCP is an odious and atheistic political party, a group belonging to Satan the devil that has no equal throughout the world in its wickedness and opposition to God.

Anyone with an understanding of the CCP is likely to be familiar with its modus operandi. Each time the CCP violently suppresses religious belief, democratic rights movements, ethnic minority protests, and so on, it first fabricates false incidents to pervert public opinion and whip up the populace, after which it carries out bloody suppression. Take the Tiananmen Square protests in 1989, for example: This was originally a student movement to fight corruption and promote democracy and freedom, but the CCP instructed unidentified individuals to pretend to be students and mix with the protesters, where they created chaos through acts of vandalism, arson, and overturning military vehicles. Blame was placed squarely on the students and the student movement was labeled a counter-revolutionary riot, thus providing a pretext for the suppression of the students and the launch of a bloody crackdown in which at least several thousand students were shot or crushed by tanks. Thus did the CCP stage a chilling campaign that shocked the world and bitterly disappointed the Chinese people—the Tiananmen Square Massacre. The same happened in the CCP’s suppression of Tibetan protests. First it instructed people to mix with the protesters with orders to commit acts of violence, including burning, killing, robbing and looting, then it mobilized the army to open fire on the protesters on the grounds of suppressing the Tibetan rebellion. The list goes on. These facts are proof of the CCP’s well-established tactics for eradicating dissidents: First it creates lies, distorts the facts, and makes false accusations, then it carries out a bloody crackdown. In fact, the Zhaoyuan Case has formed the basis by which the CCP has perverted public opinion in order to brutally oppress and persecute The Church of Almighty God. It is yet another heinous crime in the CCP’s persecution of religious belief. But after suppressing and persecuting The Church of Almighty God for all these years, is the CCP really able to eradicate it? Many years ago, the Jewish people offended God’s disposition by nailing the Lord Jesus to the cross; they were cursed by God, and suffered unprecedented destruction of their nation. Because of its frantic opposition to God and brutal persecution of Christians, the Roman Empire, too, was destroyed by a plague sent down by God. These are all facts. The CCP could not escape being cursed and punished by God for its opposition and condemnation of God’s work of the last days. As Almighty God says, “We trust that no country or power can stand in the way of what God wishes to achieve. Those who obstruct God’s work, resist the word of God and disturb and impair the plan of God shall ultimately be punished by God. He who defies the work of God shall be sent to hell; any country that defies the work of God shall be destroyed; any nation that rises up to oppose the work of God shall be wiped from this earth and shall cease to exist” (“God Presides Over the Fate of All Mankind” in The Word Appears in the Flesh).

Previous: 4. Although you believe in Almighty God, read the words of Almighty God, and pray to the name of Almighty God, the CCP is disseminating information saying that The Church of Almighty God was created by a man, and you do whatever he says. You testify that this person is a priest, a man used by God, and that he is responsible for all administrative affairs. I can’t figure it out—just who founded The Church of Almighty God? What are its origins? Can you explain this?

Next: 6. You testify that Christ of the Last Days, Almighty God, is the return of the Lord Jesus, and that He is expressing all truths for the judgment, purification, and salvation of mankind. Yet the CCP claims that the “Almighty God” you believe in is just an ordinary person. The CCP knows everything about this person’s family background, and has even posted this person’s photo, name, and family address online. I can’t get this straight—is what the CCP says true or false?

The end of all things is approaching. Do you want to know how the returned Lord rewards good and punishes evil and determines man’s outcome? Do not hesitate to join our online sermon to get the answer.

2. The differences between the work of those used by God and the work of religious leaders

The work carried out by the one who is used by God is in order to cooperate with the work of Christ or the Holy Spirit. This man is raised up by God among man, he is there to lead all of God’s chosen ones, and he is also raised up by God in order to do the work of human cooperation. ...God’s aim in using this man is so that all those who follow God can better understand God’s will, and can attain more of God’s requirements.

Question 2: Pastors and elders often read the scriptures and preach to people, pray for brothers and sisters, have love for believers and ask people to hold on to the Bible. If we say they are hypocritical Pharisees, most believers will not be able to see through or distinguish. Then please communicate to us in more detail.

Almighty God says, “If your intention is not to submit to Him but you have an ulterior motive, then what you say and do, even the prayers you say to God, your every act, will be viewed as resisting to God. Even if you speak tenderly, act with a mild manner, your actions and expressions appear appropriate to others, and you give an impression that you submit to God, yet judging from your intention and your viewpoint of belief, all you do is against God, and is evil. ”

Question 5: Paul’s sacrifices and suffering were forced. We admit that as well. However, when you say that Paul in substance hated the truth and was the enemy of God, I don’t agree with that. What are you basing that on?

Almighty God says, “At the very mention of Paul, you may think of his history, and of some inaccurate and spurious stories about him. He was taught by his parents from childhood, and received My life, and because of My predestination, he was possessed of the qualities required by Me. … However, his flaw was that, because of his innate gifts, he often talked boastfully. And so, because of his disobedience, part of which directly represented the archangel, when I became flesh for the first time, he did his utmost to resist Me.”

Question 1: It is clearly written in the Bible: “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever” (Heb 13:8). So the name of the Lord does not change, but you say that the name of the Lord Jesus will change in the last days. How can you explain that?

Almighty God says, “There are those who say that God is immutable. That is correct, but it refers to the immutability of God’s disposition and substance. Changes in His name and work do not prove that His substance has altered; in other words, God will always be God, and this will never change. If you say that the work of God always stays the same, then would He be able to finish His six-thousand-year management plan? You merely know that God is forever unchanging, but do you know that God is always new and never old?"
