46 Christ’s Kingdom Is a Warm Home

Verse 1

Christ’s kingdom is my warm home,

it belongs to all God’s people.

Christ walks and speaks in the church,

Christ walks and lives among us.

Pre-chorus 1

The judgment of God’s words is here,

as is the work of the Holy Spirit.

Chorus 1

God’s words supply us and guide us,

God’s words, they help our lives grow.

This is a just world ruled by Christ.

Christ’s kingdom is a warm home, is a warm home.

Verse 2

Christ’s kingdom is my warm home,

it is so dear to God’s people.

God’s words reign in the church.

We act on truth, exalt Him in our heart.

Pre-chorus 2

There’s no more infighting,

there’s no need for defense or fear.

Chorus 2

Christ is the resting place for man’s soul.

I need not wander anymore.

This is Christ’s kingdom people long for.

Christ’s kingdom is a warm home, is a warm home.

Verse 3

Christ’s kingdom is my warm home,

all of God’s people treasure it.

Here I experience God’s trials,

they purify my corrupt disposition.

Chorus 3

Christ of the last days, You are our beloved.

We’ll love and praise You for evermore.

God’s words are here, as is Holy Spirit’s work.

Christ’s kingdom is a warm home, is a warm home.

Outro

The story of my life growth is here.

My quiet words to God are here.

My memories record the price that God pays.

I’m moved by everything here.

Sincere affection is here,

and words cannot express nor can say.

Christ’s kingdom is a warm home.

Christ’s kingdom is a warm home.

Christ’s kingdom is a warm home, is a warm home.
