834 God Perfects Those Who Love Him Truly
Verse 1
God wants to gain a certain group of people,
who strive to work together with Him,
who obey His work, believe in His words,
and put God’s requirements into practice.
They have true understanding in their hearts.
They’re able to walk the path of perfection.
It’s something that’s inevitable,
for they’re the ones who can be perfected.
Chorus
If you pursue and treasure God’s words,
God will work in you.
The more you treasure His words,
the more His Spirit works in you,
and the greater your chance
of being perfected by God.
God perfects those who love Him,
whose hearts are at peace before Him.
Verse 2
Those people who cannot be perfected
are those who do not clearly know God’s work,
those who do not eat and drink of His words,
and who fail to pay attention to them,
and who have no love in their hearts for God.
Those who doubt God incarnate and deceive Him,
who are careless with His words, they’re resistant;
they are Satan’s own and cannot be perfected.
Chorus
If you pursue and treasure God’s words,
God will work in you.
The more you treasure His words,
the more His Spirit works in you,
and the greater your chance
of being perfected by God.
God perfects those who love Him,
whose hearts are at peace before Him.
Bridge
To treasure all of God’s work and enlightenment,
to treasure His presence, care and protection,
to treasure how God’s words become your reality,
to truly value how they provide for your life—
all this accords best with God’s heart.
Verse 3
There’s nothing more important for believers
than to receive God’s work and gain perfection,
and become those people who do God’s will.
This is the goal that you should all pursue.
Chorus
If you pursue and treasure God’s words,
God will work in you.
The more you treasure His words,
the more His Spirit works in you,
and the greater your chance
of being perfected by God.
God perfects those who love Him,
whose hearts are at peace before Him.
