314 God’s Authority Is Everywhere

Verse 1

God’s authority exists in all situations.

God dictates and arranges every human fate,

all things in accordance with His thoughts and His wishes,

and it will not alter for human change.

Verse 2

It is independent of man’s will.

It cannot be altered by any changes in time

or space, or change of geography.

For God’s authority is His very substance.

Chorus

God’s authority is unique to Him,

and it’s not restricted or ever limited

by any people, or any place,

not by anything or any space.

God’s authority is everywhere,

at every hour and every instant.

Though heaven and earth may pass away,

God’s authority is here to stay.

Verse 3

Whether man can know or accept God’s rule,

it can’t change God’s sovereignty over man’s fate.

No matter if you know God’s rule, His power still exists.

Even if you don’t obey, He commands your fate in every way.

Verse 4

God’s authority and His rule over man’s fate

are independent of human will.

They do not change in accordance with man’s preference,

nor will they change because of man’s choices.

Chorus

God’s authority is unique to Him,

and it’s not restricted or ever limited

by any people, or any place,

not by anything or any space.

God’s authority is everywhere,

at every hour and every instant.

Though heaven and earth may pass away,

God’s authority is here to stay.

Bridge

At all times God wields His authority,

He continues His work, He shows His might.

He rules and provides for everything,

and orchestrates them for all of time.

It is a fact that none can change;

since time began it’s been this way.

Chorus

God’s authority is unique to Him,

and it’s not restricted or ever limited

by any people, or any place,

not by anything or any space.

God’s authority is everywhere,

at every hour and every instant.

Though heaven and earth may pass away,

God’s authority is here to stay.
