861 God’s Love for Man

Verse 1

God has come to work in a filthy land,

He has come to reveal His holiness.

To do His work and save people in this place,

He endures great humiliation.

Verse 2

This He does for a witness and for all mankind.

Through God’s work, all see His righteousness, supremacy.

By saving a group of the lowly, His greatness is shown,

and His uprightness now is fully known.

Chorus

Though born in a land filthy, yet God is not lowly.

This is how His greatness and love show.

The more He works in this way, the more man comes to know

God’s pure and flawless love for all humanity.

Verse 3

God is holy, righteous, though born in a foul land,

living with the filthy as Jesus lived with sinners.

Is not all His work for mankind’s survival?

Isn’t it all for mankind’s great salvation?

Chorus

Though born in a land filthy, yet God is not lowly.

This is how His greatness and love show.

The more He works in this way, the more man comes to know

God’s pure and flawless love for all humanity.

Though born in a land filthy, yet God is not lowly.

This is how His greatness and love show.

The more He works in this way, the more man comes to know

God’s pure and flawless love for all humanity,

God’s pure and flawless love for all humanity.
