56 The Work of Judgment Is to Cleanse Man’s Corruption
Verse 1
Before man was redeemed,
much of Satan’s poison
was planted within him.
Thousands of years passed,
and man’s been so defiled
that he has a nature
that makes him resist God.
Verse 2
Thus, when he’s redeemed,
it’s only a redemption
where man has been bought back
at a price so high,
but also where the poison
that infects his nature
has not been removed.
Pre-chorus
Man is so defiled and he must change
before becoming worthy to serve God.
Chorus
By the work of judgment and chastisement,
man will fully come to know
the filthy essence and corruption
that exists within himself,
man can change himself completely,
and he can become clean.
This way man can become worthy
to come before the throne of God.
Verse 3
Through the work today
of judgment and chastisement
and also of refinement,
man can be transformed,
mankind will be able to
purge all his corruption
and thus will be made pure.
Verse 4
The current stage of work
is more than just salvation
but purification.
It’s also work of conquest.
This is the second stage
of the work of man’s salvation,
where God gains man through judgment.
Bridge 1
Through the use of the word
to refine, judge and disclose,
the impurities, the notions, the motives
and the ambitions within man’s heart
have all been revealed.
Chorus
By the work of judgment and chastisement,
man will fully come to know
the filthy essence and corruption
that exists within himself,
man can change himself completely,
and he can become clean.
This way man can become worthy
to come before the throne of God.
Verse 5
That man’s been redeemed
and his sins forgiven
can only be considered
as God ignoring them,
but man lives in a body
which is still trapped in sin,
so his sinning cannot stop.
Verse 6
Time and time again,
man will keep revealing
his satanic disposition
that is so corrupt.
The majority of mankind
sins during the daytime,
just to confess at night.
Bridge 2
Even though the sin offering always works for man,
it can never save man from all sins.
So just half the salvation is completed,
for man is still corrupt.
Chorus
By the work of judgment and chastisement,
man will fully come to know
the filthy essence and corruption
that exists within himself,
man can change himself completely,
and he can become clean.
This way man can become worthy
to come before the throne of God.
Outro
It’s hard for man to realize his sins;
he cannot see his nature’s deep roots.
He must rely on judgment by the word
so he can achieve this result.
Only this way can man be changed
from this point onward.
