78 Beholding the Image of the Son of Man in His Judgment and Chastisement

Verse 1

God’s true face can’t be fully expressed

using any human language.

God is too great to be summed up like that,

so He uses a different way.

By expressing His disposition,

God reveals His true face to man.

Those who know the Son’s disposition

have seen the Son of man’s true face.

Chorus

Within the stream of chastisements and judgments,

the Son of man gets to show His disposition,

allowing all who accept His chastisement and judgment

to see His true face via the things that He says.

It’s the truth of the Son of man’s face as seen by John.

But for some it’s a truth that will never be seen,

staying invisible to those who can’t accept

the work of God in the Age of Kingdom.

Verse 2

When man has gone through each step of God’s work

within the Age of Kingdom,

they’ll know the truth behind John’s words

on the Son of man among the lampstands:

“His head and His hairs were white like wool,

and His eyes were as a flame of fire,

His feet fine brass burned in a furnace,

His voice the sound of many waters.

Pre-chorus

And He had in His right hand seven stars,

and out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword,

and His countenance was as the sun shining in its strength.”

Bridge

You’ll then know beyond all doubt

that this ordinary flesh

that has come to say so much

is the second incarnate God.

And furthermore, you will sense

how blessed and fortunate you are.

So are you not willing to accept this blessing?
