350 Corrupt Man Cannot Represent God

Verse 1

All the actions and deeds of Satan

are manifested in man.

All the actions and deeds of man

are an expression of Satan.

They can never represent God.

Man is Satan’s embodiment.

The disposition of man cannot

represent the disposition of God.

Verse 2

Some people are of good character;

God may work through such people.

Though they’re led by the Holy Spirit,

the work God does upon them

is nothing more than expanding on

what already exists within.

No one directly represents God:

prophets of yore nor those God uses.

Chorus

The example of Jesus is enough to prove

none who are of sin can represent God.

The sin of man represents Satan.

Sin does not represent God; God is without sin.

Even the Holy Spirit’s work in man

is merely directed by the Spirit.

It’s not done by man on behalf of God.

Neither man’s sin nor disposition represents God.

Verse 3

All things from God are positive.

But the disposition of man,

it has been processed by Satan

and it cannot represent God.

Only the love, the will to suffer,

righteousness, submission, humbleness

and hiddenness of God incarnate

can directly represent Him.

Bridge

This is because when He came,

He came without a sinful nature;

He came directly from God,

without being processed by Satan.

Jesus just takes the form of sinful flesh

and does not represent sin;

His actions, deeds, and words

before completing His work

through His crucifixion

all directly represent God Himself.
