929 Has Your Heart Turned to God?

Verse 1

A human heart turned to God

is one that can always look to God,

a heart that can forsake the flesh,

a heart that thinks on God.

In their conduct and their speech,

in their every single behavior,

they can please the God they love,

their hearts burdened for God’s will.

Pre-chorus

When your ideas and thoughts are not right,

you can forsake your intentions

to act according to God’s will.

Chorus

The more you experience this way,

the more your heart can turn to God,

and the more you can please God and love Him.

Verse 2

Whether you face jail or sickness,

ridicule or slander,

or seem to have no way out,

you can still love God.

When trials come up,

you can still love God.

This will mean that your heart

has turned to God.

Pre-chorus

When your ideas and thoughts are not right,

you can forsake your intentions

to act according to God’s will.

Chorus

The more you experience this way,

the more your heart can turn to God,

and the more you can please God and love Him.
