If man always calls God Jesus Christ,

but doesn’t know He’s begun a new age

and new work in the last days,

if man still awaits the arrival of Jesus the Savior,

then could they see the arrival

of Jesus the Savior from heaven?

Verse 1

God calls these people nonbelievers;

those who are like this don’t know Him,

their belief in God is false.

They do not wait for God’s arrival,

but the coming of the King of the Jews.

Verse 2

They do not long for God to destroy

this impure world that they’re living in,

but for the return of Jesus,

who they believe will redeem them

and save mankind from this corrupt land.

How can such people become the ones

who in the last days complete God’s work?

The wants of man can’t bring fulfillment

to God’s wish or His work’s completion.

They love only His past work,

without knowing He’s God Himself

who’s always new and is never old.

Man knows He’s Jehovah, He’s Jesus,

but man doesn’t know He’s the One of last days

who will bring man to an end.

Man knows only what he sees and thinks,

man’s yearning is from his own notions.

Bridge

It is not in line with God’s work, but goes against it.

If God worked by man’s ideas, when would the end be?

When would mankind enter rest?

How could God enter the seventh day, into the Sabbath?

God works according to His plan and to His purpose,

not by what mankind desires.
