63 Judgment Is God’s Primary Way to Perfect Man

Chorus

How does God perfect man?

It’s through His righteous disposition!

Righteousness and majesty,

wrath, curses and judgment,

God’s disposition mainly includes these.

And with judgment He perfects man.

Verse 1

Some people don’t understand and then they ask why,

why it is that God can only make man perfect,

make man perfect through judgment and through curse?

If man is cursed by God, then wouldn’t he die?

Verse 2

They ask, “If God judges man, isn’t he condemned?”

How can man still be made perfect then?

These are questions spoken by

those who simply do not know the work of God.

Chorus

How does God perfect man?

It’s through His righteous disposition!

Righteousness and majesty,

wrath, curses and judgment,

God’s disposition mainly includes these.

And with judgment He perfects man.

Verse 3

What God curses is the disobedience of man,

and what He judges are all of man’s sins.

Though He speaks harshly, with great vehemence,

with these stern words, He reveals man’s inner essence.

Pre-chorus

Such judgment makes man see the essence of his flesh,

and so he submits in obedience to God.

Chorus

How does God perfect man?

It’s through His righteous disposition!

Righteousness and majesty,

wrath, curses and judgment,

God’s disposition mainly includes these.

And with judgment He perfects man.

Bridge

Man’s flesh is sinful, it is of Satan,

disobedient, for God to chastise.

And so, to allow man to know himself,

the words of God’s judgment must befall him.

Every kind of refinement must be used.

And only then can God’s work reap its fruit.

Judgment is God’s primary way

of making man perfect.

Chorus

How does God perfect man?

It’s through His righteous disposition!

Righteousness and majesty,

wrath, curses and judgment,

God’s disposition mainly includes these.

And with judgment He perfects man.
