75 The Judgment of God’s Word Is to Save Man

Verse 1

Though God has said many words to you

of chastisement, of judgment,

they’ve not been done unto you,

yes, not been done unto you in deed.

Verse 2

God came to do His work and speak words.

Though His words may be stern,

they are spoken in judgment

of your corruption, rebelliousness.

Verse 3

The purpose of God doing this way

is not to cause man harm,

but save man from Satan’s domain.

God’s words are stern to help get results.

Pre-chorus 1

Only through this way of working

can mankind know themselves,

can they break away

from their rebellious disposition.

Chorus

Though God’s words may be stern,

they’re uttered for man’s salvation,

as He is only speaking words,

not punishing man’s flesh.

These words help man live in the light,

know the light exists and is precious,

know they’re beneficial to man,

and know that God is salvation.

Verse 4

The work of words has great meaning:

Man can know and thus practice the truth,

achieve dispositional changes,

know themselves and God’s work.

Verse 5

Only this working through speaking

can promote the relationship

that is between God and man.

And only words can explain the truth.

Verse 6

It’s the best way to conquer man.

Apart from speaking words,

nothing can help man better know

all the truth and all the work of God.

Pre-chorus 2

God speaks in His work’s final stage

to reveal unknown truths, mysteries,

make man gain the true way, the life,

and thus satisfy the will of God.

Chorus

Though God’s words may be stern,

they’re uttered for man’s salvation,

as He is only speaking words,

not punishing man’s flesh.

These words help man live in the light,

know the light exists and is precious,

know they’re beneficial to man,

and know that God is salvation.
