553 God Will Not Abandon Those Who Truly Yearn for Him
Verse 1
It’s not because God is unwilling
to be gained by man,
it’s not because God has feelings
that man fails to gain Him,
but because man doesn’t want to
and does not seek God urgently.

If humans can reject
their lavish desires and return to God,
they still have the chance of salvation;
if man has a heart that truly yearns for God,
God will not abandon him.
Verse 2
How could one who truly seeks God
become cursed by Him?
How could one of sense and conscience
become cursed by Him?
Or one who worships and serves God
be ravaged by His wrath?

How could one who gladly obeys God
be kicked out of His house?
How could one with boundless love for God
live in His punishment?
How could one who gladly gives all for God
be left without anything?
