574 Practicing the Truth in Your Duty Is Key

Chorus

It is always through doing his duty

man is gradually changed.

And it’s in this way he shows his loyalty.

The process is the same.

The more you’re able to do your duty,

the more truths you’ll receive,

and your expression will become more real.

Yes, it will be more real.

Verse

If in doing his duty,

all that one does is going through the motions,

and if he does not seek truth,

then he can expect elimination in the end.

Pre-chorus

For such men don’t do their duty

in the practice of the truth.

And neither do they practice truth

in the fulfillment of their duty, of their duty.

Chorus

It is always through doing his duty

man is gradually changed.

And it’s in this way he shows his loyalty.

The process is the same.

The more you’re able to do your duty,

the more truths you’ll receive,

and your expression will become more real.

Yes, it will be more real.

Verse

If in doing his duty,

all that one does is going through the motions,

and if he does not seek truth,

then he can expect elimination in the end.

Bridge

Such men are those who remain unchanged;

they will be cursed.

Their expressions are impure.

And if only that were all,

but what they express

is nothing but wickedness.

Chorus

It is always through doing his duty

man is gradually changed.

And it’s in this way he shows his loyalty.

The process is the same.

The more you’re able to do your duty,

the more truths you’ll receive,

and your expression will become more real.

Yes, it will be more real.
