30 Thanks and Praise to Almighty God

Verse 1

We have now heard the voice of God,

been brought before His throne.

We savor the words of God,

we understand the truth He spoke.

Verse 2

Rituals of religion, we’ve cast them off, all those bonds.

Unrestrained by rules, our hearts are released.

And we are happy as can be, living in God’s words,

happy as can be, living in God’s words.

Chorus 1

Thanks and praise to Almighty God,

who expresses truth to save mankind.

Thanks and praise to Almighty God!

We go through the judgment of Christ,

and our vague faith subsides.

Verse 3

We closely follow God’s steps,

kingdom training we accept.

God’s judgments are like a sword,

disclosing thoughts that we have.

Verse 4

Arrogance and selfishness,

and falseness are all revealed.

Only then I see my corruption.

No place to hide, I fall before God.

Chorus 2

Thanks and praise to Almighty God,

who expresses truth to judge mankind.

Thanks and praise to Almighty God!

We are face to face with God,

and we rejoice to see His glorious countenance.

Chorus 3

We give thanks for God’s salvation.

We offer praise for His righteousness.

My desire is to practice truth,

forsake the flesh, to be reborn, comfort His heart.

Chorus 4

Thanks and praise to Almighty God!

God’s judgment is so righteous.

Thanks and praise to Almighty God!

My corruption is being cleansed.

Because of Him I am blessed.
