The Above’s Answers to the Questions of God’s Chosen People From Around the World (10)

Fellowship From the Brother Above – January 15, 2026 (Part One)

This New Year’s showcase has shown us that many of God’s chosen people, especially those who participated, have tasted the work of the Holy Spirit and come to appreciate that God is right by our side, helping us at all times. They’ve all experienced that when they pray to God, it is easier to obtain the work of the Holy Spirit and gain God’s help, and they have seen that Almighty God is the real and living God, and thus have greater faith to follow Him. What does this show? This is sufficient to show that as long as people follow God and fulfill their duties, it is easy for them to obtain the work of the Holy Spirit, and easy for them to gain the enlightenment and illumination of the Holy Spirit and achieve an understanding of the truth, and then be able to develop true faith in Almighty God. All of this is achieved through doing our duty. There are many people who, after coming to believe in Almighty God, have not started doing a duty. Can these people obtain the work of the Holy Spirit? (No.) Even if they obtain a little of the Holy Spirit’s work, it will not be much; they can only obtain a little of the Holy Spirit’s work when eating and drinking God’s words. It is impossible for them to obtain more of the Holy Spirit’s work. Now, most of you, God’s chosen people, see that the disasters are becoming greater and greater, and you all want to pursue the truth to attain salvation and be perfected. So how should you practice to achieve this? You must fulfill your duties as much as possible and expend yourselves for God as much as possible. This is the path to attaining salvation. Do you see this path clearly? (Yes.) If you don’t do a duty or expend yourself for God, can you obtain more of the Holy Spirit’s work? (No.) This has been confirmed by the experiences of countless people. The more you expend yourself for God, the more you suffer and the greater the price you pay, the more times you will seek the truth and pray to and rely on God, the more truths you will gain, and the greater your faith in God will be. In contrast, those who do not do any duty at all and indulge in fleshly enjoyments will find it very difficult to obtain the work of the Holy Spirit. What kind of state are you in when you find it difficult to obtain the work of the Holy Spirit? For one thing, your faith in God is too small; for another, when you encounter various difficulties, your flesh is weak and cannot overcome them, and you cannot practice the truth to submit to God and satisfy God. This kind of state affects your life growth. Look—many of God’s chosen people were able to obtain the work of the Holy Spirit just by participating in this New Year’s showcase—doing a duty for such a short time. So, if you can expend yourself for God over a long period and persist in doing more duty, will you not have more opportunities to obtain the work of the Holy Spirit? Will you not make greater gains? (We will.) Now, some of those who participated in the showcase have seen that Almighty God is the real and living God, who is by our side at every moment, hearing our prayers and helping us anytime and anywhere. They all feel that Almighty God is the only true God, without the slightest error. Didn’t they gain this knowledge through experience as they did their duty? Can someone have this experiential knowledge without doing a duty? (No.) This spiritual experience can be gained only by doing your duty. The more that you pray and rely on God while doing your duty, the more opportunities you will have to obtain the work of the Holy Spirit, the more opportunities you will have to experience the work of the Holy Spirit, and the more knowledge of God you will have. The more knowledge of God you have, the greater your faith, and the purer your submission to and love for God become. Through doing your duty, you see how the Holy Spirit works. The process of life growth is exactly like this—this is precisely how it is. So, what should we do when we encounter various difficulties in the process of following God and doing our duties? We should pray to God, rely on God, look to God, and seek the truth. In this way, we can understand more truths. As long as we understand the truth, no difficulty can keep us from following God, and no difficulty can keep us from pursuing the truth to achieve knowledge of God. Everyone who believes in God wants to know God. So, how do you come to know God? There is a path here, which is to eat and drink God’s words. You must set your sights on this path accurately; this is the path to knowing God. If you focus on eating and drinking God’s words, you can obtain the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit and achieve an understanding of the truth. Once you understand the truth, you will have knowledge of God and have faith, you will be able to overcome Satan’s temptations and the weakness of the flesh, and all your difficulties can be resolved. Tell me, what process is this? This is the process of pursuing the truth. By pursuing the truth, you can obtain the work of the Holy Spirit, and by pursuing the truth, you can achieve knowledge of God. Then what results can knowing God achieve? This question is also worth thinking about. Once we know God, we can submit to Him, love Him, and worship Him. Knowing God is the way to submit to God, love God, and worship God. Only when you know God can you enter into the reality of submitting to, loving, and worshiping God. That is to say, only when you know God can your submission to, love for, and worship of God be true, absolute, and free of any difficulty. Some people ask, “If I only have a little knowledge of God, can I achieve submission to God?” You cannot achieve this result with only a little knowledge of God. If you only have a little knowledge of God, you can only overcome temporary difficulties—but you won’t have the stature to persist and achieve absolute submission to God. If you only understand a little truth in your belief in God, can you resolve all difficulties? Can you see all things clearly? (No.) To attain salvation in your belief in God, you need to understand a great many truths. Therefore, the Lord Jesus promised man: “When He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth(John 16:13). What does this “all truth” refer to? It refers to the truths that we must understand and enter into to attain salvation and be perfected in our belief in God. This includes truths in many aspects—not just the truths of how to conduct oneself, and not just the truths of knowing God, but also the truths of submitting to God, the truths of triumphing over Satan and standing firm in your testimony, the truths of discerning false leaders and antichrists, and all the truths that ought to be possessed by people with normal humanity. Therefore, this “all truth” is of the utmost importance. Now, quite a few people understand some truths, but can the little bit of truth you understand enable you to overcome Satan’s temptations and bear resounding testimony for God? (No.) Perhaps you can overcome small temptations, but is it easy to overcome great temptations? For example, is it easy to overcome the test of life and death? (No.) Temptations such as life and death, marriage, and fame and status are not easy to overcome. If you want to overcome them, you must have a certain degree of knowledge of God; you must have Job’s faith and Peter’s submission before you are able to stand firm in your testimony. This requires you to constantly pursue the truth and seek a deeper knowledge of God. Therefore, the pursuit of the truth is endless when we look at it from the perspective of the process of pursuing the truth and the results to be achieved. Some people say, “The pursuit of the truth is endless, but the number of truths that people should understand and enter into must be finite. If we possess twenty, thirty, forty, or fifty truths, does that not mean we possess all truth?” You can’t put it this way. Can you see clearly what “all truth” refers to? (It refers to God’s words.) It is certain that “all truth” refers to God’s words, but it primarily refers to God’s disposition, God’s essence, and God’s love—that is, what God has and is. What God has and is is so rich that nobody could ever fully know it. Some people ask, “What result must I achieve in pursuing the truth to meet God’s requirements?” You must be able to fully know God, have knowledge of all that God has and is, be able to be face-to-face with God, and live completely in the light. When people achieve this result, they meet God’s requirements. So how many years of pursuit does it take to achieve such a result? Is a lifetime of pursuit enough? (No.) Is five hundred years of pursuit enough? (No, the pursuit of the truth is endless.) Why do we say it is endless? Could it be that we can never fully know God? (God’s disposition, God’s essence, and what God has and is are so rich that nobody could ever fully know them.) Correct. It is impossible for people to ever fully know God, precisely because He is too great and too rich; no one can fathom Him, and no one ever will. Look at the four living creatures mentioned in Revelation who praise God day and night without ceasing. Why do they praise God day and night without ceasing? We cannot calculate how many years they have been in contact with God in the third heaven—perhaps hundreds of thousands of years, millions of years, or even longer—yet they still praise God day and night without ceasing. What is going on here? This is because nobody can ever fully know what God has and is. What does the fact that nobody can ever fully know Him show? It shows that God is too great and too wondrous, and that what God has and is is too rich. Is that not so? (Yes.) The Creator is so great and so wondrous that people can never fully know Him even given all eternity. So, to be able to spend our whole lives pursuing knowledge of the Creator—is this not the most wonderful thing in life? Is this not the happiest thing in life? (It is.) Therefore, praising God is eternal. When you experience God’s work, gain a little enlightenment from the Holy Spirit, and have a little knowledge of God, your spirit then gains a little liberation, and you will ceaselessly thank and praise God, saying, “God is so good! God is so almighty! God is so wondrous!” You can achieve this result with only a little knowledge of God, so what result can you achieve if you have much knowledge of God? You will be completely liberated, and you will thank and praise God forever without ceasing. Is that not so? (It is.) Then is praising God not the greatest enjoyment? (It is.) Therefore, knowing God is endless, and it is also the most meaningful thing. Now, there are some of God’s chosen people in churches around the world who, in the process of doing their duties, pray to, rely on, and look to God, and so feel that “God is so wondrous and so almighty! God is truly our ever-present help! The Almighty God we believe in is the one true God, the Creator!” When people have this feeling, does their faith not increase? (It does.) When they do their duties with increased faith, they will be able to practice the truth and act according to principles, and they will get some results in submitting to God. Later, when they see that they have become people who submit to God, there will be so much peace and joy in their hearts! They will feel, “I can finally break free from Satan’s influence and will no longer be constrained by my corrupt disposition. I have finally attained salvation. I am truly so happy!” Therefore, the truth is so precious! The truth can make people liberated and free. When you gain the truth as your life, you are no longer constrained by your corrupt dispositions, and you can attain salvation and become an overcomer. To live in the truth is to be liberated and free, and to ceaselessly praise God in your hearts. When you give true thanks and praise from your hearts, is this not the most enjoyable thing? Are these not your happiest moments? (They are.) This is tasting the joy of gaining the truth. The more you understand the truth, the more peace and joy you will have in your hearts; the more you understand the truth, the more liberated your spirits become; the more you understand the truth, the closer and more normal your relationship with God becomes; the more you understand the truth, the easier it is for you to live in the light; and the more you understand the truth, the more clearly you see the darkness and evil of this world. So can you see what is happening in the world now? Dictatorships are collapsing one after another, the great catastrophes have begun, and various plagues, wars, and famines have all descended. In the future, even more people will die. So are you afraid of death now? Are you still constrained by this matter? Have you been liberated? (We have not yet been completely liberated.) Then hurry to equip yourselves with the truth and see through death. When you can see through it completely, you will be completely liberated.

Tell me, what kind of people, in God’s eyes, are those who understand the truth and have knowledge of God? They are people who have attained salvation. People who have attained salvation understand the truth and have had a change in their disposition; people who have attained salvation have true submission to and true love for God. Are these people not precisely the group of people God wants to gain? Are they not members of Christ’s kingdom? When you pursue the truth to the point of understanding it and can do the duty of a created being well, you will have peace and joy in your heart, and you will be calm and fearless in the face of any environment. Especially for those who have experienced many hardships and trials and have knowledge of God, are they still afraid of death? (No.) When people come to have knowledge of God’s righteous disposition, they feel that they are too filthy and corrupt, that they deserve to die and be destroyed, and that they are unworthy of living before God. They are no longer so fearful or afraid of death in their hearts. They will say, “No matter where God places me, I will worship and praise Him. Even if God places me in hell, I will still praise Him.” Therefore, God says: “God’s work will end when people see themselves as the sons of hell(The Word, Vol. 1. The Appearance and Work of God. Revelations of the Mysteries of “God’s Words to the Entire Universe,” Chapter 30). What does this mean? It means that when people know themselves to the point of realizing, “I am a son of hell, a descendant of Satan, unworthy of living. It’s simply wishful thinking for someone like me to want to believe in God to receive blessings, and enter the kingdom of heaven and gain eternal life,” then God’s work is at an end. So why does God want people to know themselves in this way? What exactly is God’s intention? (When people realize they are sons of hell, then for one thing, they have a true knowledge of their own essence, and for another, they have true knowledge of God’s disposition and of God’s righteousness and holiness. At that time, people will no longer try to bargain with God, and they will be able to let go of their intention to gain blessings and completely submit to God’s orchestrations and arrangements.) (When people realize they are sons of hell, they can truly repent, and they can also strive with all their might to pursue the truth and seek a change in their life disposition, ultimately achieving fear of God and submission to God. This is the result God’s work aims to achieve.) Very good! Well said. When people realize they are sons of hell, then at the very least, they have gained a thorough knowledge of their corrupt dispositions and nature essence, and their knowledge of themselves has achieved results. So why is God satisfied and His work finished when people realize they are sons of hell? What is the relationship between this and being cleansed of corrupt dispositions? What is its relationship with submitting to God? What is its relationship with attaining salvation? Let’s first say this: When people realize they are sons of hell, do they still pursue fame, gain, and status? (No.) Will they still pursue blessings, rewards, and crowns? (No.) Will they still pursue sitting at the Lord’s left or right hand? (No.) Will they still pursue reigning as kings with the Lord? (No.) They will no longer pursue any of these things. Then are they still constrained and controlled by their satanic dispositions? (No.) Are they still capable of scheming for their own interests? (No.) Can they forsake everything to expend themselves for God? (Yes, they can.) Can they achieve true submission to God? (Yes, they can.) When people realize they are sons of hell, they can give up all fleshly interests, their corrupt dispositions are cleansed, they have no unreasonable demands of God anymore, and they can submit to God unconditionally. Even if they die after rendering service, they can still submit to God. Then, they have attained salvation, and they have not lived their lives in vain. Tell me, what is life all about? How should you live so that your life has value and meaning? Is there any meaning in living for fleshly interests, or for fame, gain and status? (No.) If you don’t know what life is all about, there are two places you can go to learn this lesson. One is the intensive care unit of a hospital. If you interact with people who are about to die and listen to what they are feeling in their hearts, you will realize that rushing about and busying oneself for money, fame, and gain all one’s life is utterly useless, and that these things cannot save one’s life. The other place is the crematorium. When you see the dead being burned to ashes there, your heart will churn and you will ponder, “Is this all there is to life? Is it just being born as a baby, slowly growing into an adult, and finally dying and being burned to a pile of ashes?” After you ponder, you will think, “Pursuing money, fame, and gain in this life is not at all practical. All of these things pass in the blink of an eye, and you can’t take anything with you when you die. Living a lifetime like this is meaningless; it is all vanity!” This is the insight people get from going to the crematorium. Life is just like this—all vanity and pain. Not a single person in all corrupt mankind has lived out a true life. Only those who gain the truth and do their duty well can live out a true life. God’s work in the last days is to make just such a group of people complete. This group of people has experienced God’s judgment and chastisement, gained the truth, and attained salvation. They can be of one heart and mind with God and do the duty of a created being well. This is living out a true life. So what do such people enjoy? True happiness. True happiness in life is living in the light. The most meaningful and valuable thing in life is to bear testimony for God and praise God eternally. This is also the most enjoyable thing. God intends to accomplish this work in us, this group of people, and achieve this result. Is this not the most meaningful thing? (It is.) Now, there are some people who have experienced God’s work for three to five years and have some knowledge of God. Does this not mean they have life experience? For example, some people realized through participating in this New Year’s showcase, “Oh, Almighty God is truly almighty! When we were filming our performance, the weather was bad and we couldn’t film. Through praying to and relying on God, it soon cleared up, and we completed the filming smoothly. We truly thank God for His help! We have seen God’s deeds; God is truly so wondrous!” There were also brothers and sisters who had difficulties learning hymns. They relied on God and said, “No matter how difficult this hymn is to learn, we must do our best to finish learning it. Let’s pray to God and rely on God, asking Him to lead us to sing this hymn well so that we can achieve the result of praising and testifying to God.” When they prayed to and relied on God, the Holy Spirit worked, and they learned the hymn, which they had originally found so hard, very quickly and without any difficulty. They felt, “Oh, how can the results of praying to God be so obvious? God’s work is so wondrous!” These people experienced God’s deeds and came to have knowledge of God. Can you gain this knowledge just by reading the Bible? Can you achieve an understanding of the truth and attain God’s salvation? (No.) You cannot achieve this result by reading the Bible alone. You must experience God’s judgment in the last days to have knowledge of God, understand the truth, and be made perfect by God. The judgment of the last days is the most meaningful thing for corrupt mankind. Therefore, many people now feel, “Pursuing the truth is so good! Experiencing God’s work is so good!” In the process of doing their duty, by praying to and relying on God, and seeking the truth, they can see God’s wondrous deeds, see that God is the real and living God and man’s ever-present help, and also see that understanding the truth is so meaningful. Now that they can have this knowledge, they have some faith in God. This is the first result achieved in life entry. So have such people not embarked on the path to salvation? (Yes.) This is embarking on the path to salvation. If they experience God’s work in this way for a few years, they can attain salvation. Attaining salvation means that they have cast off their corrupt dispositions, walked out from under Satan’s influence, and become people who submit to God. Those who truly submit to God are qualified to inherit God’s promises and receive God’s blessings. These people can be brought by God into His kingdom!
