The Above’s Answers to the Questions of God’s Chosen People From Around the World (10)

Fellowship From the Brother Above – January 15, 2026 (Part Seven)

Question 6: Some brothers and sisters often judge whether someone is suitable to be a leader or worker based on their outward efforts and how busy they are, yet they overlook this person’s humanity and whether they can accept the truth. When tackling this problem, what key points should we focus on in our fellowship?

Answer: Here, you have to discern what they are busy with. Would a person with the truth reality only be busy with external things? (No.) So what work does a person with the truth reality focus on? What things are those without the truth reality often busy with? You should discern this. When serving as a leader or a worker, a person with the truth reality focuses on leading people to eat and drink God’s words, on fellowshipping the truth so they can know themselves, on using the truth to resolve problems, and on leading people to practice the truth and act according to principles. Furthermore, they pay special attention to people’s life growth; if anyone is facing difficulty, they help resolve it. When fellowshipping the truth in gatherings, they don’t speak empty words; they only solve real problems. This is the work that a person with the truth reality likes to do most. However, a person without the truth reality who only knows how to be busy with external things cannot speak of any truth reality, so they often talk in words and doctrines, using empty theories to encourage people. They also particularly like to show themselves off, putting themselves on a pedestal to lecture people and make them submit. In addition, what kind of people does a person without the truth reality like most? They like those who admire and flatter them. They promote such people to do church work, and as a result, these people are just like them, doing external things out of enthusiasm alone. But can doing things out of enthusiasm produce results? There won’t be any real results. They are often busy for six months to a year and then fail. You can see that the results of their work are poor; it can be said that their work is riddled with errors. You see, doesn’t doing things out of enthusiasm alone and without the truth end in failure? (It does.) A person without the truth reality will just incite and rouse people to do external things. They run around hitting obstacles everywhere, and their work yields little result. They also don’t know how to use the truth to resolve problems, so in the end, they can only fail and be shamed. When they first roused everyone up, they were full of confidence, thinking, “This time I can do great work and show you how capable I am!” They never think that no matter what work is being done, nothing can be accomplished without the truth. Those without the truth become disheartened when they encounter setbacks, discouraged when they fail, and negative when they encounter difficulties. They have no truth reality and cannot resolve problems. When they see numerous problems and difficulties, it is like they are looking at a prickly hedgehog—they are at a loss for where to start and have no way to handle them. This is how a person without the truth reality works. At this time, tell me, would they admit that they have no truth reality? Those with conscience and reason would admit it, but false leaders have no conscience and reason. They think this is not a problem, and even talk big and preach high-sounding doctrines to lecture people, “Don’t be scared by difficulties; we must face them head-on and continue to work hard!” But much work cannot be done well by relying on enthusiasm alone. Without the truth, no matter how they work, they cannot achieve results. Take the work of gaining people in preaching the gospel. Potential gospel recipients have notions. If you don’t fellowship the truth thoroughly and resolve their notions, will they be able to accept the gospel? If you don’t resolve their notions, they won’t accept it. You must fellowship the truth clearly and resolve their notions before they can possibly accept it. Do you think people will accept the gospel just because you preach a few doctrines and shout slogans? It’s not like that. Gaining people in preaching the gospel is no simple matter. People without the truth reality only know how to rouse and call on people to work hard out of enthusiasm—to suffer more and pay a greater price in preaching the gospel. As a result, when problems and difficulties arise, they don’t know how to use the truth to resolve them, paralyzing the work and causing it to collapse. So, are you able to discern what a false leader is from these problems that arise in their work? (Yes.) You see a person working with great energy and bustling at the beginning, but not long after, when they encounter various problems, they become negative and weak, and completely slump. Then, people will have discernment of them: “It turns out you start strong but finish weak in your work, so you have no truth reality. No wonder you can’t do real work.” You can discern whether a person has the truth reality in this way. No work in God’s house is simple; without the truth reality, you cannot stand firm. Without the truth reality, you cannot gain people in preaching the gospel; without the truth reality, you cannot resolve real problems; without the truth reality, you cannot lead people to know themselves; without the truth reality, you are even less able to lead people to enter the truth reality. If you have no truth reality, you will not achieve results no matter how many words you speak or how many doctrines you preach. Do you see these matters clearly? (We can see them somewhat clearly.) Then tell me, do those who are constantly busy and bustling around with external matters all day have the truth reality? (No.) Don’t just look at how busy and bustling they are every day. First, look at what results they can achieve in their work. When encountering real problems, can they fellowship the truth to resolve them? Can they grasp the root of the problems and fellowship on it? Can they lead people to know themselves? Can they fellowship the truth and make up for people’s deficiencies? Can they explain the truth principles thoroughly? If they can explain these things thoroughly, the problems get resolved, and the work takes a step forward. When new problems arise, they can again fellowship the truth to resolve them, and the work takes another step forward. In this way, the work progresses continuously. A leader or a worker with the truth reality can achieve such results in their work. Can you discern things in this way? (Yes.) Some leaders and workers haven’t believed in God for long and don’t have much truth reality. When they encounter problems in their work and cannot resolve them, they get so anxious they break out in a sweat, and they quickly pray to God. After praying, they ponder in their hearts, “I have no truth reality and cannot resolve problems. What should I do? I must quickly find people to cooperate with me and help me resolve these problems.” So they find people who understand the truth to help them resolve problems. They find someone to work with to fellowship on this problem, and someone else to work with to fellowship on that problem. With the help of several people, they resolve the problems one by one. What do you think of people like this? Although they don’t have much truth reality, they have conscience and reason. When they encounter problems, they can pray to God and look to God, and they can find people who understand the truth to help resolve them. In the end, whether their brothers and sisters help them or they themselves receive the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit, they resolve quite a few problems, and the work can continue to move forward. Later, when they encounter more problems, they can again seek help in this way, finding people who understand the truth to work with. In the end, the work gets going, church life bears fruit, brothers and sisters can gain people in preaching the gospel, and their own stature also grows a lot. Tell me, do people like this pursue the truth? (Yes.) They are people who pursue the truth. Don’t just look at their small stature; when they encounter all these problems, difficulties, and obstacles in their work, they know to look to God and can also find ways to resolve problems. Most importantly, they know to find people who understand the truth to work with and resolve the issues together. In addition, they know that people cannot do the work or resolve real problems just by relying on enthusiasm, so they focus on finding those who understand the truth when promoting and cultivating people. When they spot people who understand some truth and have comprehension ability, they cultivate these people. When encountering difficulties, they pray to God and look to God together with others, and through harmonious cooperation, they can still resolve problems and do the work well. These leaders and workers are right people; they pursue the truth. There are some leaders and workers who always cover things up and hide things in their work. No matter how many problems or difficulties there are in the work, they don’t allow people to report them to God’s house or to the Above. Such people have ulterior motives; they are trying to establish their own independent kingdoms. If they don’t report problems, can they really fellowship the truth to resolve them? (No.) They don’t have that stature. These people are walking the wrong path; the path they are walking is the path of Paul. I usually watch for whether there are such people among the leaders and workers, and dismiss any I find immediately. Some leaders and workers submit a report to the Above when they encounter problems they cannot resolve. Over a period of time, they report quite a few problems. Are they not afraid that people will say their stature is small? They don’t consider this. They feel that their own vanity and pride are not important; they think that the work of God’s house is what is most important, and cannot be delayed, so they must quickly report problems to the Above and get the Above to help in resolving them. Do people like these pursue the truth? (Yes.) They are people who pursue the truth. In fact, no matter what problem you report, no one will look down on you, nor will anyone laugh at you and say you don’t pursue the truth or have no truth reality. On the contrary, people will say, “No matter what problems come upon them, this person can make a report to and seek from the Above. They are not delaying the work of God’s house and they possess conscience and reason!” The Above keeps such people on because their hearts are right, they are quite honest, and they can seek the truth simply and openly. This makes them worth cultivating, and God’s house cultivates such people. So what attitude should you have in doing your work? No matter what problems or difficulties come upon you, you should pray to God, rely on God, and seek the truth to resolve them. If you cannot resolve them yourself, find leaders, workers, or brothers and sisters who understand the truth to help resolve them, or report to and seek from the Above. These are all correct paths, and those who can practice in this way are right people. What is the one practice that is most undesirable? It is covering up and hiding problems that arise in the work—no matter how many—and not reporting them upward. They cannot resolve them themselves, yet they don’t find leaders, workers, brothers and sisters who understand the truth to help. They just cover up the problems and don’t resolve them at all. What consequences will result from someone acting in this way? They will paralyze the work. Such a person is absolutely not someone who pursues the truth. They have seriously delayed the work of God’s house, and they bring only disaster and woe upon God’s chosen people! Therefore, as long as the evidence is conclusive, I dismiss such leaders and workers directly without a second thought and never use them again. This is the attitude of God’s house toward this type of false leader.

Question 7: Some brothers and sisters don’t understand the truth and have poor discernment ability. How can we fellowship on the principles of elections so that they can better understand them, and elect people who are fit to be used according to the principles?

Answer: You should normally fellowship on these principles. Once the brothers and sisters understand them, they will know how to discern people in elections, and they will be able to elect people who are fit to be used. So how should you discern people in order to elect those who are fit to be used? First, look at those who are relatively good at knowing themselves, who normally frequently open up about their own problems and corruption simply, and who can fellowship about their true situation with others. People like this are right people; they are honest people. Some leaders and workers never open up about their own states or revelations of corruption. Does this mean they have no corruption? (No.) No matter how much corruption they have inside, they simply won’t open up or tell anyone—they keep themselves tightly wrapped up. These are the most deceitful people, and the people who are best at putting on disguises. Therefore, if someone never talks about knowing themselves and never opens up about their own state, then you must be on your guard against them the most. They are the best at putting on pretenses and disguises, and they are the most deceptive. Such people absolutely cannot be elected as leaders. They should not be elected as leaders even if this means electing someone with slightly poorer caliber, but who is simple and honest. What do you think of discerning people in this way? (It’s good.) If someone dares to open up to everyone no matter what mistake they have made, dares to expose their true thoughts, and says why they did what they did at the time and what their intentions and motives were, everyone will hear this and think, “This person has spoken about the revelations of corruption that most people are unwilling to speak of. They are so simple and open! They can speak from the heart; they are an honest person. I must elect such a person as a leader.” You see, not only do the brothers and sisters not laugh at them, but they admire and trust them, and want to elect them as a leader. Therefore, the more simple and open someone is, the more trustworthy they are; the tighter someone wraps themselves up to conceal things from and trick others, the less they can be trusted. You must view people in this way. In addition, if a person always brings new light when fellowshipping on the truth and sharing their understanding of God’s words, and always talks in a particularly practical way, what does this show? It shows that they have the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit. A person who often has the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit is absolutely a right person. If they were not a right person, would the Holy Spirit enlighten them frequently? Impossible. If someone always brings new light when fellowshipping on God’s words and talks in a particularly practical way, and on top of that they do things in an honest way, without tricks or disguises, and call a spade a spade, then they are trustworthy and are basically an honest person. You won’t go wrong electing them as a leader or a worker. You see, some people generally say pleasant-sounding things, but when they act, they always do things the wrong way, always violate the truth principles, and always think of their own interests. When it comes to their actions, they are not the same person as usual; they become another person. They say one thing and do another; they are human to your face but a devil behind your back. What kind of people are they? (Deceitful people.) They are genuinely deceitful people. Are deceitful people devils? (Yes.) Then what people can be called devils without any risk of being wrong? (Deceitful people.) Yes—deceitful people. What are the manifestations of deceitful people? First, they often lie; second, every word they say carries an intention and purpose; third, they are the best at putting on disguises. Anyone who only says pleasant-sounding things but never does the right thing and cannot be trusted at all is a devil. Therefore, deceitful people are devils; this is absolutely correct. What do you think of discerning people in this way? (It’s accurate.)

Question 8: Say we can already determine that someone is not a right person and is not suitable to be elected as a leader, but everyone is likely to vote for them if they come across well on election day, meaning they might get elected. How should we wisely prevent this from happening to safeguard the work of God’s house?

Answer: In this situation, you should read a few passages of God’s words on discerning people before the election, so that everyone can learn to discern before they vote. Some people are usually not active or proactive, and they are consistently perfunctory in their duties, but in the few days leading up to the election, they become particularly enthusiastic, start to be active, and begin to recognize what mistakes they have made in the past and what corruption they have revealed, and so on, saying all the right things. Tell me, isn’t the timing of these manifestations a bit off? Why are they so active right before the election when they usually don’t do their duty earnestly? This is a bit abnormal, isn’t it? (Yes.) Therefore, when electing leaders and workers, you must look at their usual and consistent manifestations. You cannot elect someone just because they come across well in the few days before the election. You cannot judge a person based on these temporary manifestations, as they involve disguise and deception. Devils are just this cunning. If everyone grasps the principles of discernment, they will not be misled.

Question 9: During elections, some brothers and sisters only look at people’s outward manifestations when writing evaluations. They give good evaluations to those who appear nice and polite to others on the outside, but they are unclear about key points such as whether this person pursues the truth, whether they have life entry, and whether they do their duty according to principles. This affects our judgment. How should we discern in order to elect right people?

Answer: To judge a person, you cannot just listen to how nicely and pleasantly they speak; the key is to look at how they act. What do you think of this statement? Nonbelieving politicians often say this, and it applies equally in God’s house. That is, to judge a person, you cannot just listen to what they say; more importantly, you must look at what they do. You must weigh up whether they are a person who practices the truth based on the things they do and their manifestations. What aspects should you look at in particular? Look at whether they have a God-fearing heart. If you can see this accurately, your judgment of whether they are a positive figure or a negative figure will be correct. If a person has believed in God for many years but doesn’t have a God-fearing heart at all, then they are capable of doing any deceptive or absurd thing. Do you believe this? (We do.) If someone has a God-fearing heart, then they are trustworthy. In general, they will not do things that offend God, nor will they do evil. Therefore, whether someone has a God-fearing heart is crucial. In addition, look at whether they generally handle small matters according to principles. If, even in small matters, they strictly follow the truth principles and can practice the truth, then this person cannot be wrong and is likely to be a positive figure. Also, look at whether the words they usually speak are empty, whether they are practical, whether their words are adulterated, whether they speak with intentions, and whether they often lie. If they usually don’t tell lies, and their words are not adulterated with personal intentions but are all for safeguarding the work of God’s house, and if they speak words from the heart that are practical while being objective and rigorous, then this person is trustworthy. If they usually tell too many lies and always have personal intentions, then they are unreliable, and you cannot vote for them in the election. Do you understand? (Yes.) So do you know how to judge people now? First listen to whether their words are honest, and you will roughly know in your heart what kind of person they are. In addition, can you tell how they do things and whether they have principles? Do they do their duty according to the principles? Are they quite conscientious? Do they seek the truth in matters they cannot see clearly? Are they devoted in their duty? If someone can usually uphold principles in their duty, in speaking, and in handling matters, then they are trustworthy. If this person always speaks big, empty words and doesn’t do tangible things, then they are absolutely no good; they are a devil and a Satan, completely unchanged. This is guaranteed to be correct. These are the crucial things in judging and evaluating people.

Question 10: When writing evaluations during elections, some brothers and sisters clearly have some discernment of the person being evaluated, but when it comes to actually writing the evaluation, they only write about the person’s strengths and don’t mention a single word about their problems and shortcomings. They think that writing truthfully about others’ problems is tantamount to filing a complaint against them, and they cannot correctly understand the significance of evaluating people fairly. How should we fellowship to help brothers and sisters write evaluations based on the facts, so that everyone can elect people who are truly suitable?

Answer: When writing evaluations, they only write about others’ strengths and not their shortcomings—what kind of thinking are they being constrained by? (The thoughts and views of a people pleaser.) They are being a people pleaser who offends no one. So why do they act as a people pleaser? Because they live by satanic philosophies. Can you evaluate people objectively and fairly if you live by satanic philosophies? (No.) When they write evaluations that only mention strengths and not shortcomings, their personal intentions are in this; they are unwilling to tell the truth for fear of offending people. Therefore, they are perfunctory, just writing a little about others’ strengths, and cannot deliver an objective and fair evaluation. If you cannot evaluate people objectively, it would be better not to write an evaluation at all. Why only write a little about their strengths? They think, “If I write a little about their strengths, I can curry favor with them and it also counts as completing the task. Anyway, I wrote an evaluation, so you can’t say I didn’t do this duty.” Look—isn’t the way this person does their duty too adulterated? Are they acting according to principles when they write only about the person’s good side? (No.) What mistake have they made by not acting according to principles? They are not evaluating people fairly and objectively, and their words are not based on facts. People whose words are not based on facts and who cannot evaluate people correctly, fairly, and objectively have only satanic philosophies in their hearts. They are not guileless in their conduct; they are not honest people. Therefore, you must help such people dissect and know themselves. Once they have an understanding of the essence of their actions and know how to act in accordance with principles, they will be able to evaluate people fairly and objectively.

Question 11: After being elected as leaders or workers, a few brothers and sisters want to refuse this commission: Some of them feel they are not good enough and can’t shoulder the work, and some of them worry that they don’t have much time. How should we fellowship to encourage them to accept their commission?

Answer: Some people are unwilling to be leaders or workers. What are they worried about in their hearts? Why are they unwilling to be leaders or workers? (They are afraid of taking responsibility, and afraid of being revealed and eliminated if they don’t do the work well. In addition, they are afraid of the worry and exhaustion; they indulge in comfort and are unwilling to suffer this hardship.) For one thing, they are afraid of being revealed and eliminated if they don’t do the work well; for another, they are afraid of suffering and exhaustion; and for yet another thing, they are afraid of offending people by upholding the truth principles. They are worried about these three things, so they think of all kinds of reasons and excuses to decline their duty, saying, “I don’t have the stature to shoulder the work right now; I am not worthy to be a leader or a worker at the moment,” or “My current conditions don’t permit it; I don’t have time to do this duty.” So, do these people pursue the truth? (No.) Can they be saved and made perfect? (No.) They cannot be saved and made perfect in the end, so their belief will be vain. Even if they have the gifts and caliber to be a leader, their gifts and their caliber are useless—they have not been put to use. God gave them these gifts and this caliber so that they could do their duty, but they don’t show consideration for God’s intentions and instead think of all sorts of ways to decline their duty. Such people absolutely do not pursue the truth; they are people who betray God. So aren’t people like them living their whole lives in vain? (Yes.) If they do not use the gifts and caliber that God gave them in their duty to complete their commission, then they will accomplish nothing in their lifetime and there will be nothing good about them. Having been reincarnated as a human being, their life will have been lived in vain and have no meaning.
