The Above’s Answers to the Questions of God’s Chosen People From Around the World (10)

Fellowship From the Brother Above – January 15, 2026 (Part Nine)

We have finished fellowshipping on the fourteen questions regarding elections. Now, let’s fellowship on two questions regarding gospel preaching.

Question 15: When we fellowship on the topic of the Lord Jesus having already returned, how should we do so more effectively, so that potential gospel recipients can understand the fact that God has already returned? Also, how should we fellowship in simple and easy-to-understand language, so it is easier for people to understand?

Answer: To testify that the Lord Jesus has returned, first you must clearly fellowship on one fact: The Lord Jesus’ return is inevitable, because the Lord Jesus personally said: “Behold, I come quickly(Revelation 22:7). God is faithful, and God never tells lies. God said: “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away(Matthew 24:35). This shows that every word of God will be fulfilled, so there is no doubt that the Lord will return. So, how will the Lord Jesus return? The Lord Jesus prophesied many times that He would return as the Son of man. Although it is mentioned in Revelation that the Lord will return by descending on a cloud, the more frequent prophecy is that the Son of man will come quietly like a thief at the world’s darkest time, when people least expect it. Just as the Lord Jesus said: “And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go you out to meet him(Matthew 25:6). “If therefore you shall not watch, I will come on you as a thief(Revelation 3:3). Therefore, God becoming flesh as the Son of man is definitely one way the Lord returns in the last days. There is another way, which is the Lord publicly descending on a cloud. In total, there are just these two ways in which the Lord returns. So, what are the differences between these two ways? The differences lie in the time and the context. The Lord will publicly descend on a cloud after the great catastrophes. The Lord Jesus said: “Immediately after the catastrophes of those days … shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory(Matthew 24:29–30). So, after the great catastrophes end, the Lord will publicly descend on a cloud. But the Son of man will not come like a thief after the great catastrophes, but before them. The Lord descends in secret when people least expect it. The Lord Jesus said: “And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man(Luke 17:26). What were the days of Noah like? That was when the evil and promiscuity of the world had reached a peak. People were constantly marrying and remarrying, living in filth, corruption, and evil lust. The Son of man comes when people are living in this condition—this is before the catastrophes. Therefore, the Son of man descends before the catastrophes, and the descent on a cloud will happen after the catastrophes. So, do you want to welcome the Lord who descends on a cloud after the catastrophes, or do you want to welcome the Lord who comes as the Son of man before the catastrophes? (We want to welcome the Lord who comes as the Son of man before the catastrophes.) Then on what basis do you welcome the Lord who comes as the Son of man? When God comes in the flesh, He looks like an ordinary person from the outside. How can you recognize that He is God? It’s just like when the Lord Jesus came to work and people saw Him as the son of a carpenter. Who acknowledged that He was the Lord, that He was God? In such a situation, how should you welcome the Lord? The Lord Jesus once said: “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me(John 10:27). God’s sheep can welcome the Lord by hearing God’s voice. This is ordained by God. So how do God’s sheep hear God’s voice and welcome the Lord? The Lord Jesus made a prophecy: “I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth(John 16:12–13). When you hear the Son of man expressing the truth, the Lord has returned, and you should hurry up and welcome Him. This is the most accurate path to welcoming the Lord. When the Son of man has come and is expressing the truth, the God of truth has descended. If you can welcome the Lord at that time, you will be blessed. If you welcome God who expresses the truth before the catastrophes, you will have the opportunity to gain the truth and be perfected by God. If you only wait for the Lord to publicly descend on a cloud and miss the stage in which the Son of man expresses the truth and works to save and perfect people, you cannot be perfected into an overcomer. You will be someone like Thomas, and you will be condemned. What do you think of fellowshipping with potential gospel recipients in this way? (It’s good.) After you fellowship this way, any rational and sensible person will understand and acknowledge that what you said is completely correct. But the absurd sort of people won’t understand. They will give all kinds of excuses, saying, “We have God’s presence, so we don’t need to welcome the Lord.” They just don’t know that having the Holy Spirit’s presence and welcoming the Lord are two entirely different things; there is no connection between them at all. The Holy Spirit descended at Pentecost in the Age of Grace. Believers who pray to God all seem to feel the Holy Spirit’s presence. Does having the Holy Spirit’s presence mean the Lord won’t return? Does it mean people don’t need to welcome the Lord? This view is completely wrong. In the last days, the Lord becomes flesh as the Son of man to express the truth, appear, and work. If you reject the incarnate Son of man because you think you have the Holy Spirit’s presence, can you gain the truth? The Lord Jesus prophesied: “When He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth(John 16:13). What does this refer to? How is this prophecy fulfilled? It means that when the Lord returns, He will express all truths. So, if you only have the Holy Spirit’s presence but don’t welcome the Lord, can you gain these truths? Can you be guided by the Holy Spirit to enter into all truths? You’ve had the Holy Spirit’s presence for so many years; have you entered into any truth at all? Has your life disposition changed in the slightest? If you don’t welcome the incarnate Son of man, you won’t gain these truths, and your life disposition will not change. Yet you keep saying you have the Holy Spirit’s presence. Do you have any factual evidence of this? Would the Holy Spirit work on someone like you? If you don’t have the Holy Spirit’s presence but insist you do, what if it’s the presence of an evil spirit? Wouldn’t you be in trouble then? Therefore, if someone says they have the Holy Spirit’s presence and won’t welcome the Lord, are they not ruining themselves? After the Lord has come, if you fail to welcome Him, you cannot gain the Holy Spirit’s work, which makes you a foolish virgin. Who are the people who will be cast into darkness, weeping and gnashing their teeth? Are they not those foolish virgins? What are the manifestations of the foolish virgins? One is thinking that having the Holy Spirit’s presence is the same as having welcomed the Lord. The other is insisting on seeing the Lord descend on a cloud before they will welcome Him. These two manifestations of not welcoming the Lord are absurd and fallacious; they are both manifestations of foolish virgins. Anyone who manifests these two things will be eliminated, and their outcome will be destruction. Do you understand now? (Yes.) What do you think of fellowshipping this way? (It’s good; it’s crucial.) But will the absurd sort of people accept it? (No.) They are too absurd; no matter what you say, they won’t listen or accept. In that case, there’s nothing we can do. In the end, if they fail to welcome the Lord and die in the catastrophes, they will have only themselves to blame.

Question 16: Judging by the current situation, there is an urgent need to carry out gospel work in person. We constantly hold gatherings to encourage brothers and sisters to preach the gospel in person, and we also fellowship on God’s words to help them resolve their difficulties. However, most brothers and sisters still don’t have much understanding of the importance and urgency of preaching the gospel in person, and their attitude is relatively indifferent. How should we fellowship to awaken the hearts of the brothers and sisters and make them understand the urgency of preaching the gospel in person?

Answer: To resolve this problem, the key is to make them understand the importance of doing one’s duty. Some people, in their belief in God, merely acknowledge that Almighty God is the Lord Jesus returned, but they do not pursue the truth in the slightest and nor can they forsake everything to follow God and do their duty. Tell me, can such people be saved? (No.) Why not? Because although they believe in God, they do not truly follow Him, and they have not fulfilled the duty of a created being. If people believe in God but do not do their duty, can they experience God’s work? Can they resolve their corrupt dispositions? Can they enter into the truth reality? (No.) On what basis does God determine the outcome of those who have believed in God for several years but have not entered into any truth reality at all? (Based on whether they have done good deeds.) God determines the outcome of this kind of person based on whether they have done good deeds. The standard for determining the outcomes of God’s people is based on whether they have gained the truth. God’s people survive because they have gained the truth. If someone has not gained the truth but still wants to survive, then they must have done sufficient good deeds. If they have neither gained the truth nor done sufficient good deeds, then their outcome is determined to be destruction, and their faith has been in vain. Those who have believed in God for many years but do not pursue the truth in the slightest, do not do any duty at all, and have done no good deeds whatsoever are like lukewarm water, neither cold nor hot. God will spew them out of His mouth; He does not want such people. There is a biblical basis for this. Revelation says: “So then because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of My mouth(Revelation 3:16). Therefore, those who are lukewarm in their faith in God and have not even done any good deeds will all be eliminated in the end. So, how should people practice if they want to survive? Some people say, “I have believed in God for a short time, I don’t have much of the truth reality and my disposition hasn’t changed, but I must be considerate of God’s intentions. I must preach the gospel and testify to God, bringing more people before God. This is preparing good deeds.” This is the correct way to think! Preaching the gospel is the greatest good deed; it is the best good deed. If you preach the gospel more and bring more souls before God to accept His salvation, then when disasters come in the future, you may be protected by God from death because of this good deed. Those who can ultimately be protected and survive must at least be loyal laborers. If you merely acknowledge the name of Almighty God but do not do any duty at all, nor do you preach the gospel or testify to God, what proof do you have that you are a loyal laborer? You have no devotion; you only believe in God with your lips. Believing this way is useless in the end, and you absolutely cannot be saved. I tell you, anyone who does not preach the gospel or testify to God, or even doesn’t do any duty at all, will not survive. Do you understand? (Yes.) In the Age of Grace, the Lord Jesus told a parable. A master was going on a long journey and entrusted his talents to his servants. Three servants received five talents, two talents, and one talent respectively. The one who received five talents went to trade with them and made another five talents. The one who received two talents also made another two. Only the servant who received one talent did not want to pay any price at all, and in the end, he made nothing. The master called him a wicked and slothful servant, and he was cast into outer darkness, where there was weeping and gnashing of teeth. Therefore, if people believe in God but do not do any duty at all and have not done any good deeds, then they are finished. They will inevitably be eliminated! You must remember this. These are prophecies from the Lord Jesus in the Age of Grace, and every word of these prophecies is bound to be fulfilled. If you believe in Almighty God but do not do any duty at all—if you know full well that God’s urgent intention is to spread the kingdom gospel yet you simply do not preach the gospel, then you will not have done any good deeds at all and will gain nothing from your faith in God in the end. This is especially true for some people who have already believed in God for two to three years and understand some truths; if they still cannot expend themselves for God and do their duty, then they are even more deserving of God’s condemnation. In the end, they can only perish in the disasters just like the nonbelievers.
