The Above’s Answers to the Questions of God’s Chosen People From Around the World (2)
Fellowship From the Brother Above – April 15, 2025 (Part Six)
Question 12: After we finish the eight testifying sessions, some potential gospel recipients say, “We still don’t understand the Bible. We will read Almighty God’s words once we have read and understood the Bible.” How should we fellowship in response to the issue raised by these potential gospel recipients?
Answer: When potential gospel recipients say they want to read and understand the Bible before reading Almighty God’s words, you should ask them, “How many years has the Bible been around? The Old Testament was formed several hundred years after God finished His work in the Age of Law, and the New Testament was formed over three hundred years after the Lord Jesus was resurrected from the dead and ascended to heaven. It has been nearly two thousand years now. The Bible has been around for thousands of years; have you come across anyone who has read and understood it? Does such a person exist?” (No.) Even biblical scholars in Israel wouldn’t dare say they have read and understood the Bible, because it contains many of God’s words, and mankind is incapable of fully understanding any single sentence of God’s words. At most, people can only get a partial understanding of a sentence of God’s words. It is impossible for anyone to fully understand God’s words; even Moses wouldn’t dare say he fully understood God’s words. Some of the things he said were spoken with the enlightenment and direction of the Holy Spirit, yet he still didn’t fully understand them. Therefore, in the thousands of years since the Bible was compiled, not a single person has truly understood it. We can say that there is not a single person in the entire religious world who truly knows God’s work. If you do not know God’s work, how can you understand the Bible? Those who truly understand the Bible have knowledge of God’s work. If you say you understand the Old Testament, you must know God’s work in the Age of Law; that’s the only way you can prove that you truly understand the Old Testament. If you say you understand the New Testament, you must know the significance of the Lord Jesus’ work of redemption and what results it achieved. If you do not have this knowledge, then you do not understand the New Testament. Look at Paul. He wrote so many epistles that were included in the Bible, yet even he did not understand the Bible, nor did he know the Lord Jesus’ work of redemption. To want to thoroughly understand the Bible before reading Almighty God’s words—just how foolish is that? People could study the Bible for a thousand years—ten thousand years—and still not fully understand it. The words of God in the Bible are not something that anyone can understand easily. Is this not the case? (It is.) Therefore, anyone who says, “I will read Almighty God’s words after I have read and understood the Bible,” is the most foolish of people. It’s just like parents saying to their child, “My child, we are your father and mother,” and the child says, “I don’t know you. How can you prove you are my father and mother? I must do some research, and only after I reach a conclusion will I call you father and mother.” What do you think of this child? (He is being too absurd.) Therefore, when potential gospel recipients say, “I will only read Almighty God’s words after I have read and understood the Bible,” they are being completely absurd! Before you’ve even read and understood the Bible, the great catastrophes will have descended. God is not going to spare you from dying in the catastrophes just because you haven’t understood the Bible. If you insist on reading and understanding the Bible before accepting Almighty God’s work, you might never be able to accept Almighty God in your lifetime. In that case, you will not gain the opportunity to be saved, and your outcome will be certain death.
Question 13: Whenever we fellowship on the truth of the incarnation, we are never very clear, and our fellowship regarding the incarnate God’s love and concern for mankind is relatively hollow. How can we fellowship on the importance of God’s incarnation in a way that touches people, so they yearn for the Lord to return in the flesh to save us instead of vaguely waiting for the Lord Jesus to arrive on a white cloud?
Answer: To fellowship on the truth of the incarnation more practically and clearly—there is a great deal that must be said about that. Today, let’s first talk about it briefly. Why does God become incarnate to appear and work in the last days? This relates to God’s work of saving mankind and leading them to enter into all truths. In this stage of work, God is to express all truths and lead God’s chosen people to enter into all these truths. To fully achieve this result, and do this work well and complete it, He must become flesh. He could not achieve the result of thoroughly saving mankind if He worked solely as a Spirit. So, what is the difference between God’s incarnate flesh and the flesh of ordinary, corrupt mankind? In terms of the life of normal humanity, the two are the same. The difference is that God has placed the work He is to complete and the truths He is to express into this flesh; that is, the Spirit of God carries out the work He is to do and expresses the truths He is to express through this flesh. So what is the significance of Him doing so? The Spirit can also speak, so why must God speak in the flesh? It is because interacting with corrupt mankind is more convenient for God while He is incarnate. People will not be on guard against God, nor will they distance themselves from God out of fear, and so God can interact and associate with people normally. At the same time, the notions, imaginings, rebelliousness, and resistance people have are naturally revealed before the incarnate God. In this way, God can, in response to people’s revelations of corruption, express the truth to expose, judge, cleanse, and save them, and it is also easier for people to know themselves and accept the truth. Therefore, working through the incarnation helps people understand God’s words and accept God’s salvation; it also achieves the best results. What if the Spirit worked directly? If the Spirit were to speak in heaven, in the wind, or from within the flames, people would feel afraid and panic-stricken, and they would constantly be on edge. They would seem somewhat mentally unstable. It’s like when Job heard God speak from the whirlwind, or when Moses heard God’s voice from the flames. If such things happened frequently, what consequences would that bring? If God spoke a passage of words to you from within the flames today and then left, there’s no telling when the flames might come again and God might speak another passage to you. You would be so scared that you would quickly prostrate yourself on the ground, and your heart would be in turmoil for many days afterward. Would it be good for the Holy Spirit to work this way? (No.) If the Holy Spirit worked this way, would people dare to reveal their notions and corruption? (No.) Could people open their hearts to God when interacting with Him? Could they get genuine help? (No.) If the Spirit worked this way, people would not see the deeds of God’s Spirit in the flesh, and God would forever be supernatural and vague in people’s minds, invisible and intangible. People would thus feel that God is not very practical, and that He does not actually live among mankind. Could people achieve true knowledge of God if that were the case? (No.) If God truly worked this way, many of the results of His work could not be achieved. Therefore, people must see this matter clearly. God does the work of cleansing and changing people’s dispositions among mankind. In what way, then, can God do this work of salvation to achieve the best results? In what way can He work to enable people to know Him better and more practically, and ultimately achieve compatibility with Him? The only way is through becoming incarnate—God becomes an ordinary person, interacting normally with people, and speaking and working among mankind. If people experience this over time, they will be able to see God’s almightiness. They will see that God in the flesh can express the truth, that He can support and provide for people, and that He can scrutinize people. They will also see that God in the flesh can manifest God’s love for people, His righteousness, His majesty, and His holiness, without the slightest hint of any corrupt dispositions. In the flesh, God manifests His disposition and what He has and is. Seeing God with their own eyes, people are fully convinced. That is why God works through the incarnation. Only the incarnation can achieve such results; otherwise, people would never be able to know God. If they experienced the work of the Spirit, they would only acknowledge that God is so supernatural and almighty, but they could not know what God has and is. Let me give a simple example. When God appears and works in the flesh, you think, “The incarnate God certainly does not know what I do behind His back. I am very far from Christ, so how could He possibly know what I have done behind His back?” Will people think this way? (Yes.) But when God speaks, He exposes all that you have done behind His back, and you will realize that God scrutinizes the depths of the human heart. If the Spirit of God were to work, people would not have this insight into God’s disposition and what He has and is, but they can see these things clearly through the work of the incarnation. When the incarnate God sees someone who pursues the truth, He supports them with love; even if they reveal corruption, He does not spurn them, but instead continuously works on them until He makes them complete. This shows people that God sees things through to the end. Furthermore, the words and actions of the incarnate God are completely accurate. If God sees that someone is an evil person, a person who resists God, He will ignore them. Some people might have doubts, thinking, “God hasn’t even interacted with them, so how can He say their humanity isn’t good?” You might initially feel that this person’s humanity isn’t necessarily bad, but after you observe them for a period of time, you will find that their humanity is indeed poor, and that God’s words are completely accurate. Therefore, through practical experience, you can see that in the incarnate God, there are many wondrous deeds and many revelations of God’s disposition and what He has and is. If God only worked by way of the Spirit and did not become flesh, people would never come to know these things. There is another very crucial point: There are no corrupt dispositions within the normal humanity of the incarnate God. This is something that requires practical experience. Once you have personally experienced this, you will be able to see that although the incarnate God has normal humanity, there are absolutely no corrupt dispositions within this normal humanity; this point alone is sufficient for people to experience and understand.
So, what exactly is normal humanity? Theoretically speaking, having normal humanity means having conscience and reason, and being able to speak and act based on conscience and reason. When we look at the details, having normal humanity means seeing things through to the end and doing things decisively and efficiently. You can fully see all that normal humanity has and is in the incarnate God, and it is even more complete than what you can understand. Therefore, it is true to say that through working in the flesh, God can enable people to truly know Him. If God only worked by way of the Spirit, your knowledge of God would always be supernatural and vague, and your knowledge of what God has and is would also be very limited. Therefore, the most obvious result achieved by God working in the flesh is enabling people to truly know Him. This statement is completely correct, absolutely reliable, and absolutely true. You see, the incarnate God is unassuming and unostentatious on the outside, and is particularly humble and hidden; these attributes are exactly those possessed by normal humanity. If corrupt mankind had this identity, what a disaster that would be! When people become leaders, they strut around with their noses in the air, act high and mighty, and yield to no one, but the incarnate God is completely different. For one thing, He can express the truth, which shows that He possesses complete divinity; for another, He has absolutely no corrupt dispositions even though He has normal humanity and can interact normally with people. Despite having the identity of God, He is not arrogant in the slightest. He never puts Himself on a pedestal when speaking and fellowshipping with people, but always stands on an equal footing. He discusses things with people when asking them to do something, and He never compels or commands anyone. The practical revelations of the incarnate God show us not only what normal humanity has and is, but also what divinity has and is. There is so much you can learn from the incarnate God. You could not finish just learning about His normal humanity in an entire lifetime, much less fully live it out. Therefore, the most obvious result of the incarnate God’s work is that He can express the truth to cleanse mankind’s corruption, and at the same time enable people to truly know God. This is also the ultimate result that God’s work is to achieve. Because God has become flesh, you have a goal to pursue in the process of experiencing God’s work, and you have the practical God to pursue and emulate. What is the result you achieve by believing in the practical God? The practical God expresses the truth to lead you and bring you onto the path of pursuing the truth. Whatever notions and imaginings you have in your belief in God, He expresses the truth to resolve them for you; whatever corruption you reveal, He also expresses the truth to resolve it for you. In the end, you will have knowledge of the practical God. At that time, you will see that the incarnate God on earth and the God in heaven are one and the same God, and your belief in God will be a success. In the incarnate God, you can come to know much of the disposition and essence of the God in heaven, and what He has and is. God has put the truth and the life that mankind is to gain—the things that people should possess—into this flesh for you to accept and experience. In this way, you will gain true knowledge of the practical God. When you have this kind of knowledge, you will say that the incarnate God is visible and tangible, that He is the flesh God has become, and that He is the God people believe in. These words will then not be hollow at all. But some people who lack spiritual understanding say, “Is this not just an ordinary person? He speaks just like a human. What He says is based on conscience and reason, and on His own experiences and what He has seen. This is not supernatural at all, so how can He be God?” Is this statement correct? (No.) Why is it wrong? (They only look at the incarnate God’s outward appearance, not His essence.) On the one hand, the incarnate God possesses complete divinity, and on the other, He has normal humanity. It is this combination of complete divinity and normal humanity that constitutes the practical God. That is to say, God has put into the incarnate flesh all the truths that people can grasp—such as what He has and is, His disposition, and His essence—as well as all the practical things they need in order to know Him in every aspect, so you know and experience them. All these truths are manifested in the incarnate God for you to see, hear, experience, and know. Therefore, the statement, “The incarnate God is the practical God,” is by no means empty talk, nor is it a hollow theory; this statement is incredibly practical! Everything that people who believe in God must gain is in the incarnate God and within the truths He expresses. It is enough for you to gain these truths He expresses; this already completely satisfies the requirements of the God in heaven. So tell me, is this incarnate Christ not the practical God? (He is.) If you interact with Him and He occasionally says a few words, you might not see that He is the practical God. But after you have experienced His work for ten or twenty years, you will. The truths He expresses and what He has and is confirm one statement: Christ is the truth, the way, and the life. The truth people should accept, the path they should walk, and the life they should gain are all in Christ, in the incarnate God. If you believe in Him and follow Him, then you can obtain from Christ’s words all the truths you need to attain salvation in your belief in God. Tell me, is He not the practical God? (He is.) Therefore, you are sure to make great gains from following Christ of the last days—a hundred, even a thousand times greater than what you would gain from believing in the vague God! This is because it has been predestined by God that the work done by the incarnation will achieve this result. By expressing the truth, this practical God allows you to see, hear, and personally experience everything you need in your belief in God, and in the end, He allows you to gain it all. If you look down on Him and refuse to believe in Him because He seems too insignificant, just an ordinary person, and instead you only believe in the vague God in heaven because you see Him as lofty and almighty, then you are mistaken, and you will gain nothing. But if you believe in this practical God and keep following Him, you can gain from Him all the truths you need to gain in your belief in God. The Holy Spirit has prepared far more truths within Christ for people than those that have been expressed so far; these truths are unending! What does “unending” mean? Tell me, how many words must God express in the last days before He utters everything He wants to? Who can determine that? God has already expressed the truths in the seven existing volumes of The Word Appears in the Flesh, and there will be an eighth, a ninth, and a tenth volume to come. There are still many truths that God has not yet expressed! Even with just the truths Christ has already expressed, people could spend a hundred, a thousand, or even ten thousand years experiencing them and still not experience them completely. Didn’t you say that this incarnate God is just an ordinary person? How could an ordinary person possibly possess such an abundance of truths—truths that people could never finish reading, accepting, or experiencing? God is the treasury of truth, the source of life, and the inexhaustible spring of truth. With God, the truth can never be exhausted or used up. This is what is meant by the practical God. If you tried to gain these truths from the God in heaven, you would gain nothing. But from the incarnate God, you can gain them all, and in abundance—an all-encompassing supply that you could never exhaust or use up! Whether religious people believe in Jehovah God or the Lord Jesus, how much truth could they gain even if they believe for thousands of years? Would it be as much as we have gained in ten years of believing in Almighty God? (No.) This is the result achieved by the work of the incarnate God.
What do you think about fellowshipping on the significance of God’s incarnation in this way? (It’s good.) Perhaps when you first come to believe in the incarnate God, you might feel that He is a human being, that He has normal humanity, and that He is only able to express the truth. But is the incarnate God really only able to express the truth? If you think this, then your understanding is too shallow. One day, when you experience things to a certain point, you will start to feel, “Oh my, the incarnate God has expressed so many truths! Christ truly is the truth, the way, and the life. We must focus on the utterances and words of Christ, and on gaining the truth from God’s words!” This is the correct way of understanding the incarnation. I tell you, even if you experienced the normal humanity of Christ for many years, you would not be able to know it fully. This lesson is extremely profound. Do you understand what a human being is, what normal humanity is, and what normal humanity should possess? There are many things in here that we must know—enough for us to experience for a lifetime, to say nothing of other truths. Christ possesses every aspect of the truth, and there is so much that people ought to gain! Why do you still want to believe in the God in heaven? You could experience the truths expressed by the incarnate God on earth for hundreds of years and still not finish experiencing them; these truths are simply too rich! Therefore, belief in the incarnate God is very realistic, very practical, and very suitable. It does not require you to pay a great price or to run up to heaven. By directly listening to His words and submitting to His work, you can gain the truth in abundance. Those arrogant and conceited people do not believe in the God on earth, or the incarnate God; they only believe in the God in heaven and the Spirit of God, and as a result, they gain nothing. So tell me, is it easier to believe in the God in heaven or the incarnate God? (It is easier to believe in the God in heaven.) When people believe in the God in heaven, they just go to a gathering on Sunday, listen to the pastor preach a sermon, and that’s it. Believing in God this way is easy, but you could believe like this for a whole lifetime and you would not know God, your corrupt disposition would not change, and you would have gained basically no truth! Could you bear witness to God then? Try fellowshipping the few words spoken by the God in heaven for me. What can you fellowship? You cannot explain anything clearly. This is because you do not know how to experience the words spoken by God; you are merely clinging to regulations. Therefore, you gain nothing by believing in the God in heaven—all those who believe in the God in heaven are arrogant and conceited. When you believe in the incarnate, humble, and hidden God, the truths He expresses are all practical. They are all things that people can grasp, and things that people can never finish experiencing. They are a spring of living water that can never be exhausted or used up. That is why we feel we have gained so much after believing in the incarnate God for only a few years! Even though we are clumsy with our words and cannot express ourselves well, we feel so good in our hearts, and we have gained so much. What about religious people? They are so impoverished! Look, how many experiential testimony videos has God’s house produced in recent years? Over a thousand have been uploaded to the website. We have also produced over a thousand hymns of God’s words! In the future, God’s house will continue to produce hymns and experiential testimony videos, and it will never stop. How many experiential testimonies has the religious world produced after over two thousand years of belief in the Lord? How many hymns have they produced? Not many. Those testimonies from the religious world are too shallow; they do not involve changes in people’s dispositions at all, and they fall short of being life experiential testimonies. Furthermore, the hymns of the religious world are also too shallow. They are all dry words and doctrines. They do not have much real knowledge of the Lord Jesus’ work of redemption or of the Lord Jesus’ love, and they cannot testify to God. So, believing in the incarnate Lord Jesus in the Age of Grace and believing in the incarnate Almighty God in the Age of Kingdom both involve believing in the incarnate God—which would you say that people gain more from? (People gain more by believing in Almighty God.) Why is it that people gain more by believing in Almighty God? Because the work Almighty God does in the last days is the work of judgment. The aim of the work of judgment is to thoroughly save mankind, to make people of one heart and mind with God. How many words must be spoken and how much work must be done to achieve this? This is a massive undertaking! Thus, Almighty God has been working and expressing the truth for over thirty years now, and The Word Appears in the Flesh already consists of seven volumes. Could you ever finish experiencing so many truths? No one could finish experiencing them in their lifetime. Even in the Millennial Kingdom, people will still have to eat and drink these words of God. God is doing such great things and speaking so many words on earth, yet very few of those in the religious world who believe in Jehovah or the Lord Jesus are able to discover that it is truly precious for God to be doing such great work and expressing so many truths on earth. What does this show? The entire religious world is utterly blind, and those religious pastors and leaders, in particular, have all gone down the wrong path; they all oppose God, and they are all antichrists. Can we say this? (Yes.)
