The Above’s Answers to the Questions of God’s Chosen People From Around the World (2)

Fellowship From the Brother Above – April 15, 2025 (Part Eight)

Question 16: Now, potential gospel recipients hear quite a lot of negative propaganda. When we testify that God has returned or testify to The Church of Almighty God, many of them make a link with the negative propaganda they have heard, and so they stop investigating and even block us. In response to this situation, we dissect the negative propaganda and try to stop this from happening, but the proportion of those who fall for the negative propaganda is still quite high. We would like to seek what aspects of the truth we can fellowship on to better retain potential gospel recipients.

Answer: First, you must let them know that they cannot determine whether this is the true way based on other people’s comments. Regardless of what a certain person says, what the religious world says, or what the ruling party says, these are all human comments, and they cannot be used as a basis. When investigating the true way, your basis must be whether this way has the truth, whether it can save people, whether what Almighty God expresses is God’s intentions, whether it is God’s voice, and whether the work done by Almighty God is God’s work. You must base your determination of whether it is the true way on these things. If you base your determination of whether this is the true way on the comments of any one person, the religious world, or the ruling party, then you are truly too blind. The entire religious world resists God, and the entire world and the ruling party resist God—so if you determine whether this is the true way based on the words of these devils and Satans, are you not being too foolish, ignorant, and blind? You can give them another example by asking them this: In the Age of Grace, did the ruling party support the Lord Jesus when He appeared and worked? Did the ruling party testify to Him? The ruling party did not support or testify to the Lord Jesus; the ruling party resisted God. So, did the religious world of that time testify to the Lord Jesus? The religious world did not testify to Him either; they also resisted God. Every time God appears and does new work, He is condemned by the religious world and the ruling party. Therefore, if you always listen to what the religious world says, what the pastors say, and what the ruling party says when investigating the true way, then you are listening to the wrong people. Can any good words come from the mouths of devils and Satans? Can they speak any correct words? No correct words come from their mouths. These people are all devils and Satans who resist God. When the great catastrophes descend, they will all disappear. The ruling party, the presidents, the officials, and the people of the religious world will all be destroyed. Only those who accept the true way will survive. If you cannot see this matter clearly, and only listen to what the ruling party says and what the religious world says, then you will be misled! When investigating the true way, you must listen to what God says, and look at where the truth is being expressed, and where God appears and works. These things are the only basis for finding the true way. God will destroy every corrupt human in this world. So, are you not being too blind in listening to their words? This is a case of the blind leading the blind, and all of them falling into a pit. Additionally, the most important thing when we testify to God’s work in the last days is to testify that Almighty God is currently making a group of overcomers. The experiential testimonies borne by these overcomers do not exist anywhere in the entire religious world. Those in the religious world read the Bible, which is all about the work God has done in the past; it is all old, obsolete regulations. God is now expressing new words, expressing newer truths to save mankind. If you keep on being conservative, you’re in the wrong. However, the work of Almighty God in the last days is exactly what is condemned by the antichrists in the religious world and by this world where devils and Satans hold power. Therefore, they are the wrong people to ask when you are investigating the true way. You cannot assess whether it is the true way based on their claims; you must have your own thoughts and make your own choices. There is also a saying among nonbelievers: “Listening to both sides brings clarity; heeding only one side leads to darkness.” Why do you heed and believe only one side when it comes to an important matter such as investigating the true way? Why don’t you believe God’s words? Are you someone chosen by God? When we preach the gospel, if we have articulated all these things properly and they still do not listen, and they just believe the pastors’ words, believe the nonbelievers’ words, and believe the negative propaganda, then this proves that they are of devils and Satan. They do not listen to positive words; they like listening to negative words. So how should you treat such people? These people do not accept the truth, so no matter how much you fellowship with them, it is useless. Therefore, there is no need to put any more effort into them. Is it appropriate to treat these kinds of people in this way? (It is.) Tell me, was there a lot of negative propaganda when the Lord Jesus was working? (There was.) In particular, there were many baseless rumors regarding a virgin conceiving and giving birth to the Lord Jesus. Tell me, would devils and Satans say anything nice about that? They definitely would not say anything nice about that. So at that time, the gospel of the Lord Jesus could not spread throughout Judaism. Ultimately, God permitted an environment to arise. He struck the shepherds, who preached the gospel to the Gentile nations; only then did it gradually spread. Every time God does a stage of new work, a lot of negative propaganda will appear, because the entire human world is ruled by devils and Satans. Any place where Satan holds power is shrouded in dark clouds and a foul miasma. If people do not have their own thoughts, do not investigate the true way, do not read God’s words, and do not seek the truth, then they are certain to fall for Satan’s schemes. If you say this and they still do not believe, then there is nothing we can do. If they do not seek or accept the truth, no one can save them. Just as the saying goes, “Good words cannot persuade a damned ghost.” Is this not the case? (It is.) Is this answer to the question acceptable? (Yes.)

Let’s fellowship on another topic. Some people say, “The man used by the Holy Spirit came to understand the truth through reading and experiencing God’s words, and he preaches sermons based on God’s words. We can also understand the truth from God’s words, and we can also experience God’s words, so we can preach sermons too. Why must we listen to the sermons preached by the man used by the Holy Spirit?” Is there a problem with this statement? (Yes.) This is just like in the Age of Law when God appointed Moses to lead the Israelites and told the Israelites to obey Moses’ words. How did those two hundred and fifty leaders treat Moses? They said, “God can give you a revelation, Moses, so can He not also give us a revelation? We are the same as you. On what basis do you lead us?” The things they said sounded reasonable, but what problems were exposed by this? They did not want to accept Moses’ leadership; they wanted to rebel against and betray God’s will. Could God let them off? God could not let them off. God had just appointed Moses, but these two hundred and fifty leaders wanted to rebel in this way. This was disrupting God’s work and offending God’s disposition—a great sin! Could God sit by and do nothing? Of course not; God had to uphold His work. So at that time, God performed a sign and a wonder through Moses, destroying those two hundred and fifty leaders. God caused a fissure to open up in the earth, and these two hundred and fifty leaders fell straight into hell. Why did God perform that sign and wonder through Moses? It was to show everyone that Moses had been appointed by God, and that anyone who offended or resisted Moses was resisting God. This was manifesting God’s authority. Upon seeing this, the Israelites developed a sense of dread in their hearts, and they were able to submit and listen to Moses’ words. In this way, God’s work in the Age of Law was able to continue moving forward. Now some people say, “Is the man used by the Holy Spirit not also a corrupt human? On what basis should we listen to his leadership? Can we not just comprehend God’s words directly?” This statement seems correct from a human perspective, but their intention and motive in saying it are wrong. This exposes a kind of rebellious disposition—not submitting to God’s arrangements. Submitting to the man used by the Holy Spirit is an administrative stipulation made by God. If you cannot submit to him, then in God’s eyes, you are resisting God and offending God’s disposition, and God will be angry. Therefore, you must absolutely not go against anything that is stipulated in God’s administrative decrees; this is absolutely not permitted by God. First is the incarnate God, and second is the man used by the Holy Spirit. You must submit absolutely to both; you must not resist. If you resist, you will suffer a loss. What does it mean to suffer a loss? It means the Holy Spirit will no longer work on you, and will no longer enlighten you. Tell me, how great of a loss is this? It is hard to say what your outcome will ultimately be. Therefore, resisting the incarnate God and resisting the man used by the Holy Spirit are not minor matters; they are great sins that violate God’s administrative decrees. In the churches around the world, some people also say, “Why are Chinese people leading us now? We look down on Chinese people. We have the words of Almighty God, and we can independently manage the church by eating and drinking God’s words ourselves.” To humans, there doesn’t seem to be much wrong with that statement, but there is a problem with it before God. If the Chinese people you look down on are merely nonbelievers, that is one thing, but if the Chinese people you look down on are God’s chosen people, and are leaders and workers appointed by God’s house, then you are making a mistake, and this will cause you to suffer a loss. So, you must absolutely not do foolish things. Some people say, “Are the Chinese people leading us trying to control us?” It is wrong for you to say this. The Chinese people have absolutely no intention of controlling you, and I do not want to control anyone either. We are all created beings, and we are all equal before God. No one can control anyone else. It is just that the Chinese people accepted God’s work earlier than you, and have received more watering and shepherding. Because they have understood God’s urgent intention to save mankind, they have brought the gospel of God to your countries in order to submit to God’s work and complete God’s commission. They’re also paying a price to water and support you, so that you too can get on the right track of believing in God as soon as possible. This is the responsibility and duty of the Chinese people in the church. If they do not do this duty, they will feel that they owe God too much. But if, after the Chinese people have watered you for a period of time, your stature grows and you can independently eat and drink God’s words, independently lead and water the church, and independently spread the gospel, then the Chinese people’s responsibility will have been fulfilled. They will immediately withdraw, and you will be able to do the work independently. Therefore, when Chinese people lead the church in any other country, they are not doing this to control the chosen people of that country, and much less to control the church of that country. If you think this way, you are completely wrong. The Chinese people who are leading you in your countries are doing so to help and support your lives to grow as quickly as possible, so that you can do the work independently. If the leaders and workers of your country grow quickly in stature, and are now able to lead God’s chosen people of your country to propagate and spread the gospel, then God’s house will let you be independent and withdraw all the Chinese people. Therefore, when some people do not seek the truth, and constantly comprehend things wrongly, it is easy for them to misunderstand God, complain about God, and betray God.

Now, some people in the churches around the world do not accept the leadership of God’s house, saying they want to lead the people of the churches in their own country themselves. How should this be resolved? Of course you can lead them yourselves. God’s house will still distribute the books of God’s words to you for free as usual. If you can truly bring God’s chosen people before God, and truly enable them all to bear resounding testimonies, then this proves that you have the truth reality. If you lead the church and fail to achieve this result, and you even lead God’s chosen people onto the wrong path and hinder their opportunity to be saved, then you will be in trouble. You will have to accept punishment. Can you bear this responsibility? Doing church work is no simple matter. What have I often reflected on in all my years of doing work? Whether I have wrongly expelled anyone, and whether the way I have handled anyone was not in accordance with the truth principles. If so, I immediately make corrections. Even when dismissing a false leader, I think it over time and again, praying and seeking from God on how to act in accordance with the principles. I do not deal with people lightly without getting an accurate view of them first. Even if they have offended me, I still have to treat them fairly. I cannot ruin their chance of being saved. Only in this way will I be able to give an account to God when His work concludes one day—that I have not wrongly expelled anyone, have not tormented anyone, and owe nothing to anyone. I do my utmost to water, support, and supply those who love and seek the truth; as for those who do not love the truth and who reject it, I handle them according to the principles: I do not put effort into them, nor do I water or supply them. In some countries, God’s chosen people are dissatisfied with Chinese people. We will not debate right now whether they are right or wrong, but you must have principles in what you do. It is okay for you to be dissatisfied with nonbelieving Chinese people, because nonbelieving Chinese people are all devils and Satans. But God’s chosen people in China, especially the leaders and workers used by God’s house, have all been chosen by God; they are the best among the nonbelievers. You must treat them based on the truth principles, or at least have a little love, conscience and reason. Some people see that Chinese people have ordinary looks and are not tall, and so in their hearts they look down on them. Is it right for you to always look at people’s outward appearance when interacting with them? Does being tall and having good looks mean someone has the truth? In God’s house, people are not classified according to whether they are good-looking or not, whether they are tall or short, or how much knowledge they have; rather, they are classified according to how much truth they understand, whether they can be perfected by God, and whether they can be used by God. In the kingdom of heaven, the highest rank is that of the priests, followed by the sons, God’s people, and the laborers; these are all ranked. What are these ranks based on? They are based on whether or not people have the truth. If you have not gained the truth, then it doesn’t matter how good-looking you are, how tall you are, or how much knowledge you have—all this is useless. Without the truth, you are nothing. Only gaining the truth shows that you have stature, and only if you gain the truth will God approve of you. Then tell me, is gaining the truth a simple matter? Suppose someone has high knowledge and gifts, can read ten lines of God’s words at a glance, and can recite them right after reading them. Does this mean they have gained the truth? This is not the case. Do not think gaining the truth is so simple. You must experience for many years to achieve true knowledge of God’s words and to bear true experiential testimonies; only then have you gained the truth. For example, there was an elderly believer in mainland China whose wife died when he was in his eighties, and he began to complain, “Oh God, why did You let my wife die? It has been over forty years since we began believing in God. To do her duty, she forsook everything and suffered a lot. She was supposed to accompany me to the end of the road, until one day we would see the kingdom realized together. Why has she died now?” Though he had believed in God for so many years, his complaints came pouring out the moment such a thing came upon him; he bore no true testimony. He fell far short of Job’s stature. When Job faced his trial at the age of seventy, all his wealth was taken away and his children all died, but Job did not utter a single word of complaint. He was still able to praise God’s name, and ultimately he bore a resounding testimony and gained God’s approval. Yet this person, who could usually suffer and pay a price while doing his duty, and who spoke very nicely when fellowshipping with others, complained as soon as he encountered something not in line with his notions. He could not stand firm in his testimony before God. This shows that people who do not have the truth reality may fail and fall at any time. Therefore, you should now focus on pursuing the truth and comparing who has the truth reality; this is the most important thing. Do not constantly look at what country someone is from. If they are Chinese, you look down on them, but if they are American, British, or French, you think highly of them. Is this view correct? (No, this is viewing people based on their outward appearance.) This view on things is wrong, and it gravely violates the truth principles. If you hold this view, it proves that you have no truth reality. Even your basic idea of how to view people is wrong, so what truth reality could you have? You have no truth reality because you do not even understand basic common sense relating to how to view people. Some nonbelievers think highly of and worship white people, and look down on black, brown, and yellow people. Should these nonbelieving views exist in God’s house? (No.) If anyone holds these views, should they cast them aside? (They should.) Then what kind of people do you like the most? (We like people who pursue the truth.) We should like whoever pursues the truth, and promote whoever has the truth reality. God’s house does not look at a person’s skin color. It doesn’t matter whether they are brown or black—as long as they pursue the truth and are devoted to their duty, God’s house likes them, is willing to fellowship the truth with them, and is willing to promote them. If you are white but you do not pursue the truth and lack devotion in your duty, God’s house will not like you and will not promote you. Is this view correct? (It is.) Why is it correct? (Because this standard for evaluating people is compatible with God’s standard. God evaluates people based on whether they have the truth and whether they love the truth.) This view accords with the truth; it is taking God’s heart as your own. We should not always evaluate people based on our own will and fleshly preferences. In fact, some African brothers and sisters are quite practical when they speak. Once, I heard a black brother give an experiential testimony that was quite practical. I saw that this person had good caliber and comprehension ability, and I wanted to promote him. I tell you, God’s house does not promote and use people based on their looks, their skin color, and certainly not based on their knowledge or social status. It is entirely based on whether they love the truth, whether they have comprehension ability, whether they can forsake everything to sincerely expend themselves for God, and whether they are devoted to their duty. God’s house promotes people who love the truth, people who have comprehension ability, and people who expend themselves for God with devotion.

That concludes our gathering for today. Goodbye!
