The Above’s Answers to the Questions of God’s Chosen People From Around the World (6)

Fellowship From the Brother Above – October 1, 2025 (Part Two)

Let’s continue to discuss preaching the gospel. Preaching the gospel is propagating God’s words. Do you now realize the importance of this statement? (We do.) It doesn’t matter who is investigating the true way; you just need to read more of God’s words to them. Whichever passage of God’s words you feel is most important or most crucial, read that one first. You need to be clear in your heart which passages you should read first and which you should read later, and then read them in order. If they are someone who loves the truth, then after hearing God’s words they will feel in their heart that these words are good, that they are the truth. Then they will ask, “Where do these words come from? How come I’ve never seen them in the Bible?” At this point, you can testify to them that these are expressed by God in the last days, and are His current words. Perhaps they won’t be able to accept this all at once. You can then say to them, “Do you remember what the Lord Jesus prophesied? The Lord said: ‘When He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth(John 16:13). What did the Lord mean by this? He was telling the disciples of that time, ‘You cannot enter the kingdom of heaven and receive blessings yet. When God returns in the last days to express the truth and guide you into all truth, if you accept the truths He expresses in the last days, you will have hope of entering the kingdom of heaven and receiving blessings.’ The God who expresses the truth has now come. He is the incarnate Almighty God of the last days. If people welcome this Son of man, they will be blessed. If they do not, they will be eliminated. But this God who expresses the truth and guides people into all truth appears to be just an ordinary person on the outside. This is where the strongest clash with people’s notions is. The image of this ordinary person is like a veil that conceals His divinity, so you cannot see that He is the appearance of God, and you cannot see how God’s spiritual body works. But all the truths expressed by this ordinary person have completed God’s management plan, making a group of His followers into overcomers, into the firstfruits. All these truths He has expressed have fulfilled all of God’s prophecies, and they are sufficient to prove that He comes from God, that this is the appearance and work of God. If you only rely on what you see with your eyes and say, ‘I will only believe if I see the spiritual body of Jesus,’ then you will never be able to welcome God, and there will be no place for you in the kingdom of heaven. In fact, when God becomes incarnate, He becomes an ordinary person. God uses a fleshly body with normal humanity to express the truth and reveal all people. This is the wisest part of God’s work. Because God working in the flesh clashes too strongly with some people’s notions, they refuse to accept it no matter what, and even condemn and blaspheme God; this reveals these people. In the end, those who can accept and follow God will gain the truth, receive God’s approval, and enter God’s kingdom, while those who do not accept God will be shut out of the gates of the kingdom of heaven and submerged in the great catastrophes.” If you fellowship this way, won’t it be easier for them to accept? (Yes.) Tell me, how effective is God’s incarnation in doing the work of salvation? By clothing Himself in the shell of an ordinary person, God shuts all those who do not love the truth outside the gates of the kingdom of heaven. They can forget about attending the feast of the kingdom of heaven. Even though those who love the truth may not be certain that Almighty God is God at first, they will become certain that Almighty God’s words are all the truth and that no one but God could express them once they have read them. As a result, they accept Almighty God. Such people have welcomed the Lord and have hope of gaining the truth and attaining salvation. Therefore, when investigating the true way, don’t start by studying this fleshly body. Instead, focus on whether the words of Almighty God are the truth. Once you are certain that Almighty God’s words are all the truth, then start believing in Him quickly, and come to know God from His words. If you say, “These words come from God and they are the truth, so I will believe these words,” if you have this conviction, then once you have finished reading these words and have understood many truths you will naturally recognize that this Son of man who expresses the truth is the appearance of God in the flesh, the Creator, and you will be blessed. So, accepting and gaining the truth in one’s belief in God is the most important thing. The people who practice in this way are the smartest ones. Don’t get caught up in studying whether this incarnate Son of man is God; that’s not what is most important. The key is whether you can accept the truth. If you can love and accept the truth, then after you’ve understood some truths, your notions about the incarnation will naturally resolve themselves, and you will naturally know that this ordinary Son of man is the incarnate God. Is that not so? (Yes.) Tell me, can people recognize God when they don’t understand the truth? (They can’t.) Can studying the Bible allow people to know God? (No.) So if someone says, “As soon as I see God’s spiritual body appear, I will recognize that He is God,” are they not being foolish? Satan is also a spiritual body, so is Satan God? (No.) Angels are also spiritual bodies, so can an angel be God? (No.) Isn’t this an utterly absurd thing to say? (It is.) So, merely seeing a spiritual body isn’t enough for you to be able to confirm whether He is God or not. If you say, “I will believe whoever can express the truth,” then that is correct. That’s the most practical thing to say. This statement is very important, so let’s all say it once. (I will believe whoever can express the truth.) “No matter who it is, as long as they can express the truth, I will believe. What I believe in is the truth.” This is the most correct way to put it. But some people say, “I must first confirm whether this person who expresses the truth really is God. Only once I confirm that He is God will I believe. If I can’t, then I won’t.” Are they right in saying this? (No.) Why not? (They will only believe if they can confirm that this Son of man is God, but they can’t confirm it without the truth, so they will never be able to accept God. This will cause them to miss the Lord’s return and all the truths expressed by God in the last days, which will have disastrous consequences. The correct path to welcoming the Lord should be to recognize that the words spoken by this Son of man are the truth, and be able to accept these truths and pursue them regardless of whether you can confirm that this Son of man is God or not. This is what smart people do.) The purpose of believing in God is to gain the truth. If you don’t pursue the truth, how can you confirm that this Son of man is God? You can’t. Why not? Here’s an example. When the Lord Jesus first came to work, could people confirm that He was God? (They couldn’t.) Could His disciples and apostles confirm it? (They couldn’t either.) If they couldn’t confirm that the Lord Jesus was God, why did they still believe in and follow the Lord? It was because when the Lord Jesus preached, He had the work of the Holy Spirit, He could express the truth, and His words had authority and power. That’s why they followed the Lord Jesus. At that time, the most they could understand in following the Lord Jesus was that He was sent by God; they couldn’t recognize that the Lord Jesus was the incarnate God. Throughout the entire Age of Grace, no one understood the incarnation, because God had never become incarnate before, and there had never been such a thing as an incarnation in human history. The people of the Age of Grace had never even heard the term “incarnation.” Therefore, the only thing they could understand was that the Lord Jesus had been sent by God. They did not know that the Lord Jesus was the incarnate God, the heavenly Father, the appearance of Jehovah; they did not understand this mystery. Even though they did not understand the mystery of the incarnation, they still came to believe in and follow the Lord Jesus because they heard that His words had authority and power and recognized that He was sent by God. At that time, Peter and the other disciples all followed the Lord Jesus based on this conviction. It was only later, when Peter received the revelation, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God,” that people knew the Lord Jesus was Christ, the Son of God. But at that time, the Holy Spirit did not directly give Peter the revelation that “The Lord Jesus is Jehovah God, your heavenly Father.” Why didn’t the Holy Spirit provide this revelation? (Because the people of that time couldn’t grasp it.) That’s right. The stature of the people during that time was too small. They had never heard of God becoming incarnate as a human. If the Holy Spirit had revealed this directly, they certainly wouldn’t have been able to comprehend it. Their immediate thought would have been that this was impossible, and they would have been likely to withdraw and stop believing. But at that time, the Holy Spirit revealed to them that the Lord Jesus was the Son of God, the Christ, which was something that people could comprehend. You see, the revelations the Holy Spirit gives to people depend on their stature: The Holy Spirit will not give someone the ultimate revelation if they cannot bear it. Therefore, the words of the Holy Spirit’s revelations are not necessarily the words of God. God’s words are the truth. The Holy Spirit’s revelations are based on people’s stature, allowing them to strive toward the truth little by little. There is a difference between the words of the Holy Spirit’s revelations and the words of God; at the very least, there is a difference in depth. God’s words are the truth, and the truth is eternal and unchanging. The Holy Spirit enlightens people to enable them to understand the truth. People should be able to see this distinction.

Those in the Age of Grace who followed the Lord Jesus did so because He could express the truth, and His words had authority and power. They became certain that the Lord Jesus was sent by God, so they accepted and followed Him. Today, Almighty God has expressed so many truths, far more than the Lord Jesus did, so why are there not that many people following Him on their own initiative? It’s because mankind today has been corrupted too deeply. People don’t know the truth and can’t attain it, so very few follow Almighty God on their own initiative. Many people come to follow God only because we preach the gospel widely and persistently fellowship the truth with them; only then can they finally accept. What does this show? It shows that people are too slow-witted, too numb. If no one fellowships the truth with them and testifies to God, they won’t seek or accept on their own initiative. Among all those who have accepted Almighty God now, how many accepted Him through seeking and investigating on their own initiative? Almost none. People lack the ability to comprehend the truth; they lack this caliber. That’s why it takes a great deal of effort to gain one person when preaching the gospel. You have to fellowship with them for a week or ten days before they are willing to accept it. After entering the church, they still need to be watered for two or three months, or even half a year, before they are basically certain. Some people, even after believing for a year or two, may still withdraw after hearing negative propaganda. This is a case of poor caliber, is it not? (Yes.) Some people have a very arrogant disposition as well as poor caliber. They say, “Since there is all this negative propaganda, this Son of man is not God.” They just blindly determine that Almighty God is not God. Once they make this determination, this denial, the nature of the issue gets serious. They have seen so many truths that God has expressed, and they have acknowledged them as the truth, yet they are still capable of denying and rejecting God. Their life of faith in God is over, and God has no way to save them. God does not save those who do not accept the truth. Don’t think you’re some important figure who God will definitely save and gain. Before God, a person is just a pitiful soul, not worth anything at all. You could even say they are less than an ant. Is that not so? (Yes.) So, don’t think too highly of yourself. Before the truth, man is so insignificant. Man is nothing, utterly ignorant! You must never insist that “I will only believe after I have first confirmed that this flesh, this Son of man, is God.” If you have this notion, you will completely ruin your chance of attaining salvation. You should think this way, “Although I can’t yet see clearly whether this ordinary Son of man is God, I see that all that this Son of man expresses is the truth. The very fact that He can express these truths proves that He comes from God, and I should believe in Him. God expresses the truth to save people. I cannot miss this opportunity. I must believe in Him for the sake of gaining the truth.” This is the correct conviction. When you have believed for one to three years and have some practical experiences, you will become certain that this Son of man is truly God. You will then rejoice that you started to believe in this Son of man when you did; otherwise, you would have missed the opportunity to gain the truth and attain salvation. Therefore, you cannot confirm that this Son of man who expresses the truth is God by studying His outward appearance, and certainly not by studying the Bible; you must read God’s words and understand many truths. Just focus on reading God’s words, and after you have understood many truths, you will naturally come to know God. So, in the Age of Grace, could people recognize that the Lord Jesus was God? (No.) The people of the Age of Grace had no way of recognizing that the Lord Jesus was God, because that stage of work was His first appearance and work as the incarnate flesh. Moreover, God did not express many truths; most of what He said was prophecy or parable. That is why when the Lord Jesus first began to work, people did not acknowledge that He was God. It was not until after the Lord Jesus was crucified, resurrected from the dead, and appeared to people for forty days that they knew He was God. The Lord Jesus used signs and wonders to prove that He Himself was God. If that stage of the Lord Jesus’ work had not consisted of His resurrection and appearance to people, do you think Christianity could have been established and developed to this day? Could the gospel of the Lord Jesus have spread to the ends of the earth? (No.) It would all have come to nothing. Therefore, at that time, the Lord Jesus had no choice but to be resurrected and appear to people for forty days. Only after that did those who followed Him accept the fact that the Lord Jesus was God, was Christ. Then, they began to preach the gospel and testify to the Lord Jesus everywhere. This, coupled with the great work of the Holy Spirit, ensured that the gospel of the Age of Grace spread widely. But did the great work of the Holy Spirit, with so many people testifying that the Lord Jesus was God, have any effect on the followers of Judaism? (No.) The followers of Judaism were the most difficult people to preach to. The one view they held most firmly in their belief in God was, “Jehovah God is a Spirit and can never become flesh or become a man.” Is there any basis for this view? Did Jehovah ever say this? Is this statement in the Old Testament? No. But the followers of Judaism thought this—they believed and held to this view, which is why they never accepted the Lord Jesus. So, can they accept this stage of Almighty God’s work? Can they accept the truths expressed by Almighty God? They cannot accept them either. Then can they still have a good outcome and destination? (No.) Such people deserve destruction. Tell me, what is the purpose of believing in God? Gaining the truth. Only those who gain the truth have life; those who do not gain the truth do not have life. Can those without life still have hope to enter the kingdom of heaven? Are they still qualified to inherit God’s promise? (No.) Therefore, the most crucial thing in believing in God is to gain the truth. If you do not gain the truth, you will not have life, and your belief in God will be in vain.
