The Above’s Answers to the Questions of God’s Chosen People From Around the World (7)

Fellowship From the Brother Above – November 17, 2025 (Part Six)

Question 7: A potential gospel recipient asked, “How do you know that Almighty God began His work in 1991? Who told you this?” How should this question be answered?

Answer: How should this question be answered? God’s sheep hear God’s voice. In the last days, Almighty God has appeared, is working, and is expressing the truth. Those who are God’s sheep have read the truths expressed by God, recognized them as God’s voice, and returned before God. They naturally know that God has appeared and is working. Isn’t this a simple principle? (It is.) Tell me, what is it about God’s appearance and work that does not align with people’s notions? It is that He becomes incarnate to appear, work, and express the truth. This is the hardest thing for people to accept. It’s just like when the Lord Jesus appeared and worked: He looked like an ordinary person on the outside. This was the thing most at odds with people’s notions. Although the Spirit of God dwelt within Him, could people see the Spirit of God dwelling within Him? They could not. That is why the Pharisees said that the Lord Jesus was a Nazarene, the son of a carpenter, because this is what people could see. But no one could see the Spirit of God dwelling within the flesh, and this concealed God’s own identity. Therefore, God becoming the Son of man and descending in secret to work is the thing that is most at odds with people’s notions, and it is also the hardest thing for people to accept. In the last days, Almighty God became incarnate to appear, work, and express the truth; this is also the hardest thing for people to accept. This is because however you look at Him from the outside, He is very ordinary and normal. You cannot see that He is God, so you can only recognize God by hearing His voice. After God’s sheep hear God’s voice, they recognize God and accept God’s work of the last days. They naturally know that God began to utter His words in 1991. They testify that Almighty God appeared and began His work in 1991, and this testimony is based entirely on the facts. This is just like how believers in the Lord testified to the Lord Jesus’ appearance and work. They could also state the specific time when the Lord began to preach and work, because this specific time is something that people naturally come to know when they follow the Lord. But some people are constantly puzzled, and think, “How do you know when Almighty God appeared and began His work?” God’s sheep hear God’s voice, so they naturally know in which year God appeared and began His work. Those who are not God’s sheep do not know how God appears and works, nor do they know when God appears. In other words, those who accept Almighty God see that Almighty God began to utter His words, appear, and work in 1991, so they can be certain that 1991 is when Almighty God appeared and began to work. The principle is as simple as that.

Question 8: When preaching the gospel, I keep encountering people who say, “You’re just a denomination,” or “You’re a heresy, a cult.” I don’t know how to fellowship with them about this.

Answer: Those who haven’t accepted God’s work of the last days will say that The Church of Almighty God is just a denomination. For those who have accepted God’s work of the last days, The Church of Almighty God is not a denomination, but the church of God’s appearance and work in the last days. To resolve this issue, you must testify about the facts clearly to potential gospel recipients, so that they know that The Church of Almighty God is the church of Christ, the church of God, a church that came into being because of God’s appearance and work in the last days, and a church personally established and led by the Christ of the last days, Almighty God. Therefore, The Church of Almighty God is not a denomination, and it was not established by any person. When people accept Almighty God’s work of the last days, they are keeping pace with God’s appearance and work, and they are joining the church personally established by God, not some denomination. Who established the churches of the religious world? Who established the Christian churches and the Catholic church? Those churches came into being after the Lord Jesus was resurrected and ascended to heaven. They were not personally established by the Lord Jesus, nor were they established by the Holy Spirit. They were established by humans; they were established by the servants of God at that time and the disciples who followed God—you could call them the church leaders of that time. But The Church of Almighty God was personally established by the Christ of the last days, Almighty God, and it is a church personally shepherded and led by Almighty God. This is different from religion. Although you believe in the Lord Jesus and hold fast to His name in religion, the church you belong to was not personally established by the Lord Jesus. The Lord Jesus never personally said that your church is God’s church, nor has the Holy Spirit ever acknowledged your church. Therefore, the church you belong to was established by humans. If you believe in God in a church established by humans, can you guarantee that the path you are walking is correct? Can you gain the work of the Holy Spirit? If the path you are walking is not correct and you cannot gain the work of the Holy Spirit, then your hope of welcoming the Lord’s return by believing in the Lord in such a church is very slim, and it will be hard for your hope of entering the kingdom of heaven and receiving blessings to be realized. Is that not so? (It is.) So this question is very easy to answer.

In addition, some people say, “You’re a heresy, a cult.” This question is also easy to answer. Those who do not know Almighty God and do not acknowledge His appearance and work will inevitably label The Church of Almighty God as a heresy and a cult, because in their viewpoint, the way preached by The Church of Almighty God violates the Bible. This is just like how the Jews condemned the work of the Lord Jesus as a heresy when He appeared and worked. In fact, the Lord Jesus is Christ, the incarnate God, and all who accept the Lord Jesus can acknowledge this fact. But observant Jews do not acknowledge it. It has been two thousand years since the Lord Jesus appeared and worked, and they still condemn Christianity as a heresy and a cult. So many Christian pastors, elders, and doctors of theology have preached the gospel to them for two thousand years, but they cannot be converted. They believe that Protestantism and Catholicism are heresies, and have even defined them as cults. Their notions are so deeply rooted! In the last days, Almighty God has done a new stage of work, and many religious people cannot accept it either. They just cling to the Bible; they believe that Almighty God’s work violates the Bible, so they do not acknowledge that this is God’s appearance and work. Therefore, they condemn The Church of Almighty God as a heresy and a cult. This is an inevitable phenomenon. But for those who accept the work of Almighty God, they can be certain that Almighty God is the appearance of God and that The Church of Almighty God is the church of God. This is a fact that no one can deny.

Question 9: Many potential gospel recipients ask, “Since God exists, why doesn’t He stop all the bad things in the world from happening? Why are there so many cruel things like violence, slaughter, and war?” How should we answer this question?

Answer: Tell me, can God prevent these things from happening? (He can.) God is almighty, so He can certainly prevent these things from happening. Then why doesn’t He? There is a mystery here. If these things didn’t happen, would people accept the true way readily? (They wouldn’t.) Why is that? (Because corrupt mankind does not love the truth. They all like to follow the evil trends of the world and pursue the enjoyments of the flesh. Without difficulties, people would not come before God.) If people feel that everything in the world is wonderful, and that living in the world is extremely comfortable and enjoyable for the flesh, then they won’t feel the need to believe in God or receive His salvation, and they will just thoroughly indulge in enjoyments of the flesh in the world. Is that not how it is? (It is.) It is precisely because the world is so dark and evil that those who are relatively upright and who have a relative thirst for the truth feel, “I can’t go on living in this dark and evil world. I yearn for the Savior to come and save me. I must seek the appearance of the Savior, seek the true way, and search for the truth.” This is the backdrop against which people turn to God. Therefore, God allows these things to happen to, for one thing, compel God’s chosen people to turn to Him, and for another, have His chosen people develop discernment, understand the truth and be able to discern all the negative things that belong to Satan, and to see the darkness and evil of this world clearly so that they come to hate and rebel against Satan. God’s intention is for His chosen people to learn these lessons. If people do not experience Satan’s corruption and afflictions, it is impossible for them to have discernment of Satan, and even more impossible for them to completely reject Satan and turn to God to attain His salvation.

Question 10: When we testify to potential gospel recipients that the sealed little scroll prophesied in Revelation has been opened, they don’t believe it and say, “What proof do you have that the sealed little scroll has been opened? This is just something you’re saying; it’s not true.” How should we answer this question?

Answer: Actually, the opening of the sealed little scroll refers to Almighty God coming in the last days to unveil all the mysteries in the Bible that had not been unveiled. Tell me, are the mysteries of God’s work of saving mankind explained clearly in the Bible? (No.) There are many things in the Bible that are only prophesied but not explained. For example, why did God need to issue the law in the Age of Law, why did He need to be crucified to do the work of redeeming mankind in the Age of Grace, and why must He judge and cleanse people in the Age of Kingdom? In addition, what it means to be saved, what it means to attain full salvation, what kind of person can enter the kingdom of heaven, how overcomers are made—the Bible has no answers to these and many other questions that people are eager to know after coming to believe in the Lord. Does this not prove that the little scroll had not yet been opened? If these questions have been answered, does that not prove that the little scroll has been opened? In the last days, Almighty God has expressed the truth and unveiled all the mysteries in the Bible, including the aim of God’s entire management plan, the real story of His three stages of work, the results to be achieved by His work of judgment in the last days, mankind’s beautiful destination, the outcomes for every type of person, how the kingdom of Christ is realized on earth, and so on. Almighty God has revealed the answers to all these questions, which are the ones people are most concerned about. Can you really say that this isn’t the opening of the little scroll? Therefore, the content of this little scroll undoubtedly refers to all the truths and mysteries that God’s chosen people must understand to attain salvation. Now, the words of Almighty God have unveiled all these truths and mysteries. This is sufficient proof that the little scroll has been opened. Is this the correct way to answer the question? (Yes.) If a potential gospel recipient can understand and accept this fellowship, and if, after reading the words of Almighty God, they can acknowledge that the little scroll has been opened and can accept Almighty God’s work of the last days and all the truths He has expressed, then they are blessed. If they say, “I don’t accept what you’re saying, I don’t acknowledge that the little scroll has been opened, and I won’t accept Almighty God,” then we won’t force them to accept. This is because each person has their own comprehension; no one can be forced. But people should know that the outcome of those who do not accept Almighty God’s work of the last days or all the truths God has expressed to save mankind is destined to be destruction. So, do we still need to persuade such people to accept? (No.) They cannot understand God’s voice, nor do they accept the truth, so they are not God’s sheep. They are to be destroyed, so we should no longer try to persuade them.

Question 11: I find it difficult to clearly explain justification by faith to potential gospel recipients, and to explain why the Lord Jesus’ work was only to redeem mankind and not to fully save mankind. How should I fellowship on these issues?

Answer: God’s management plan consists of three stages of work, and the significance of these three stages is profound. In the Age of Grace, God did the work of redeeming mankind; He did not do the work of thoroughly saving mankind. Tell me, can people in religion recognize this stage of God’s work? They cannot, but those who accept God’s judgment and chastisement of the last days can. Why is this? It is because after they have personally experienced God’s work of the last days, they recognize that only by accepting God’s judgment and chastisement of the last days can they completely cast off their corrupt dispositions and attain salvation. They also recognize that the work God did in the Age of Grace, on the other hand, was only to redeem mankind—to forgive people’s sins so that they would no longer be condemned by the law and would be qualified to come before God and worship Him. This is the significance of God’s work of redemption in the Age of Grace. So why did the work of redemption have to last for two thousand years? This, too, is significant. Would that have worked if it had only lasted for eight or ten years? This would have been a problem. If people had only experienced the work of redemption for eight or ten years, and in that context you told them that experiencing the work of redemption was not enough for them to be thoroughly cleansed, would they have accepted it readily? (No.) Would they have been convinced without factual proof? (No.) Now, the work of the Age of Grace continued for two thousand years, and God has come again to do the work of judgment in the Age of Kingdom. Yet some people, when faced with God’s new work, still say, “In the Age of Grace, we experienced the work of the Holy Spirit, His reproaches, and His discipline and chastening. We have already been justified by faith. Why can’t we enter the kingdom of heaven directly? Why must we still accept Almighty God’s judgment and chastisement?” You see, it is very difficult for people to accept God’s new work. If you ask such a person, “The Holy Spirit worked in the Age of Grace for two thousand years, so have you come to know God? Have you become free from sin? Have your corrupt dispositions truly been cleansed?” they cannot answer. What does this show? It shows that although people in the Age of Grace experienced the work of the Holy Spirit, they were still unable to break free from sin and achieve sanctification. Therefore, the fact that people have experienced two thousand years of the work of redemption in the Age of Grace and still have not broken free from sin is sufficient proof that mankind has been deeply corrupted by Satan, and that their corrupt dispositions can absolutely not be cleansed if they do not accept Almighty God’s judgment and chastisement of the last days. Isn’t this factual evidence more than sufficient? With two thousand years of facts to prove this point, you have no choice but to be convinced. Therefore, there is great meaning in the two-thousand-year duration of the work of redemption in the Age of Grace. If the work of the Age of Grace had ended after only a few decades or a century, and God had then begun the work of the Age of Kingdom, religious people would not have been convinced. They would have said, “We haven’t experienced the Lord Jesus’ work for very long. If we experience it for a few more decades, we too will understand the truth, break free from sin, and achieve a change in disposition.” So, if the work of the Age of Grace had been too short, people would not have been convinced. God let the work of the Age of Grace continue for two thousand years to show people that after two thousand years of believing in the Lord, not a single person in the religious world has been able to achieve a change in disposition. This fact is very convincing proof that the work of redemption is not the work of thoroughly cleansing people—nobody can refute it. God uses the fact that people have experienced the work of redemption for two thousand years and still have not broken free from sin to prove that without accepting God’s judgment and chastisement of the last days, corrupt mankind can never achieve a change in disposition and can never come to know God. The manner in which God works is so meaningful!

Question 12: A potential gospel recipient came to investigate previously, but stopped after being disturbed by a religious elder. Later, he discovered that this elder was engaging in sexual immorality. He couldn’t understand why someone who had believed in the Lord for many years could still do such a thing, so he came to ask us how to view this issue. We fellowshipped with him that this is a sign of the desolation of the churches in the last days, and that the churches of the Age of Grace do not have the work of the Holy Spirit, so the people in them cannot keep to the Lord’s way. We also fellowshipped that God’s work has moved forward; people must keep pace with God’s work and accept His new work. However, he is worried that The Church of Almighty God does not have the work of the Holy Spirit either. How should this problem be resolved?

Answer: To resolve this problem, you must fellowship clearly on what results can be achieved by people experiencing God’s judgment and chastisement, what the consequences are for people who do not experience His judgment and chastisement, and whether those who do not experience judgment and chastisement can ultimately stand firm and gain God’s approval. Can you explain these things clearly? If you can use facts to explain them clearly, you will be able to resolve this problem. So why does God say that being made perfect is being cleansed through experiencing judgment and chastisement? Why doesn’t He say that being made perfect is being justified by faith or being saved by faith? The reason is that being made perfect means that a person has understood the truth, gained the truth, completely cast off their corrupt dispositions, and been cleansed. This is what being made perfect means. People in the Age of Grace haven’t experienced judgment and chastisement. Their corrupt dispositions are not cleansed, and they are still capable of sinning and resisting God frequently. This means they are not made perfect. The “being saved” they speak of merely refers to having your sins forgiven through faith, so that you are no longer condemned and put to death by the law for your sins. It does not mean truly having your sins cleansed and being made perfect. Your corrupt dispositions can only be cleansed by experiencing God’s judgment and chastisement and experiencing various trials and refinements. People who have experienced this are guaranteed not to sin again, and are guaranteed to be able to practice the truth and follow God’s will. These people have gained the truth and have been made perfect. So why do people still sin and resist God after accepting His judgment and chastisement? They do so because their experience is too shallow. They may have only accepted a little of the judgment and chastisement of God’s words, but have not yet experienced pruning, trials, or refinements. Thus, they have no true knowledge of God, nor have they developed a God-fearing heart, so they are still capable of sinning and resisting God. If they achieve true knowledge of God and have a true fear of Him, they will not engage in sexual immorality. In his last seven years, Peter experienced hundreds of trials. Tell me—was he still capable of sinning and resisting God? (No.) People who have experienced trials and have a God-fearing heart will not sin. But those who still believe in the Lord in the Age of Grace are inevitably capable of sinning and resisting God, because they have not experienced God’s judgment, chastisement, trials, or refinements, and they do not have a God-fearing heart. Without a God-fearing heart, people are capable of any sin. Therefore, God requires people to pursue the truth to achieve fear of God and shunning of evil. With a God-fearing heart, people can shun evil. Truly shunning evil is achieved by fearing God. So, if someone also comes to understand many truths on the foundation of fearing God, will they still be capable of sinning? (No.) They are even less likely to sin. Look at Job. Although he could shun evil, God did not express as many truths in the Age of Law as He does now, so Job did not understand much. Job, relying solely on his God-fearing heart, managed to not sin with his lips. When trials befell him, although he was somewhat confused in his heart and did not understand why God had allowed robbers to take his property or why his children had been taken away, he felt that some things he might have said would not be in line with God’s intention, so he did not say them. He did not sin with his lips. Job did not understand many truths, so tell me—how did he manage not to sin with his lips? It was because he had a fear of God. He thought to himself, “I can’t see this matter clearly, but I cannot judge God or offend God. I would rather keep silent than say anything that offends God.” This was his God-fearing heart at work. His God-fearing heart governed his actions, so he did not sin with his lips. Therefore, when people encounter various temptations such as status, sex, or money, if they have a God-fearing heart, they will be able to realize in their hearts, “I cannot commit this sin. This would offend God, and I cannot offend God,” and so they will not commit it. Their God-fearing heart is at work. When people who don’t understand many truths are able to shun evil, it is mostly because they have a God-fearing heart. However, people like Job who have a true fear of God are few and far between. Most religious people have little knowledge of the Lord and no God-fearing heart, so they are still capable of sinning and even of resisting and betraying God. Therefore, they need to experience God’s judgment and chastisement. When people understand the truth and gain knowledge of God, they can develop a God-fearing heart and become free from sin.

Question 13: When training brothers and sisters in the truths relevant to resolving the sixty most common notions and questions in the religious world, they generally find the material dry. Some say the content is too profound for them to understand, so the results of the training are not ideal. How can we train our brothers and sisters more effectively so that they can understand the key points of each truth and ideas for resolving these questions?

Answer: The truths relevant to resolving the sixty most common religious notions are very important; these are the most basic truths you should be equipped with in preaching the gospel, but not many people can grasp them. Tell me, can people who haven’t grasped these truths be effective in preaching the gospel? (They won’t be effective.) In that case, we must now intensify their training and fellowship more on these truths. If someone has been trained for one or two months and still can’t achieve results, then train them for three. If, after a period of training, someone can only grasp the truths needed to resolve twenty or thirty of the questions, can they preach the gospel? (Yes.) Let me tell you, if you can resolve eight or ten questions, you can preach to nonbelievers. If you can resolve twenty or thirty, you can preach to those in the religious world with a shallower foundation. And if you understand the truths relevant to all sixty questions, then you can preach the gospel to anyone—even to those in the religious world with biblical knowledge or to educated intellectuals. But if you can’t resolve a single question, then you can’t preach the gospel. Therefore, whether a person can preach the gospel and what kind of people they can preach to is determined by their own stature and the degree to which they understand the truth. You must equip your heart with the truths relevant to the questions you want to resolve, but for a person to become well-equipped with the truths relevant to all sixty questions is no simple matter; it takes several years of effort. It’s normal for some people who are just starting to train themselves in preaching the gospel not to be able to grasp so many truths all at once. You can first focus on diligently training yourself and equipping yourself with more truths. Once you’ve equipped your heart with the truths relevant to resolving ten questions, you can preach the gospel to nonbelievers. Once you’re able to grasp the truths relevant to resolving twenty or thirty questions, you can preach to those who have believed in the Lord for a relatively short time. After you’ve trained yourself in preaching the gospel for two, three, or four years, you will have equipped your heart with the truths relevant to all sixty questions. By then, you will have become a skilled and proficient gospel preacher. Isn’t that the case? (Yes.) If you are a leader or worker and you’re just starting to train some brothers and sisters to equip themselves with these truths, is it appropriate to require that everyone must be able to grasp the truths relevant to all sixty questions and be able to answer them all? (No, that requirement is too stringent.) In that case, let’s first ask people to equip themselves with and understand the truths relevant to resolving twenty questions. Would that requirement not be more objective and appropriate? (Yes.) But if there are some people who are able to grasp the truths relevant to forty questions, it’s not enough to only train them to equip themselves with the truths relevant to twenty. For such people, the only appropriate thing to do is to train them to equip themselves with the truths relevant to forty questions. Therefore, each person should equip themselves with the truths related to gospel preaching according to their own stature. If you are able to grasp the truths relevant to resolving twenty or thirty questions, then you should train yourself in answering twenty or thirty questions. If you are able to grasp the truths relevant to resolving forty or fifty questions, then you should train yourself in answering fifty questions. And once you are able to grasp the truths relevant to resolving all sixty questions, you will be a gospel preaching expert. Additionally, supervisors must consider the stature of the gospel workers when arranging work. If a potential gospel recipient is a pastor or an elder, or someone who has believed in the Lord for over twenty years, or if they are knowledgeable, educated, and eloquent, then you should have a gospel preaching expert share the gospel with them and answer their questions. These experts can answer the deeper, more complex questions raised by such people. If the potential gospel recipient is a nonbeliever or has only believed in the Lord for two years, then as long as a gospel worker can answer ten or twenty of the common questions encountered in preaching the gospel, you can have them preach the gospel to that person. Is this a good way to arrange things? (It is.) So, when we ask people to equip themselves with the truths relevant to gospel preaching, can we apply a one-size-fits-all approach? (No, we can’t.) As long as a gospel worker is able to grasp the truths relevant to resolving ten or twenty questions, they can preach the gospel. You shouldn’t require people to have a complete and thorough understanding of the truths relevant to resolving all sixty questions before they can preach the gospel. If you apply such a one-size-fits-all approach, there won’t be many people who can preach the gospel, and the gospel work will be delayed. So, we should just focus on training people to equip themselves with these truths relevant to gospel preaching. The more truths they can understand, the better. But if some people can’t grasp so many truths, you shouldn’t apply a one-size-fits-all approach. Don’t judge them as being incapable, and don’t require them to be able to resolve all sixty notions and questions before they can preach the gospel. Treating people this way is unfair and is also detrimental to the gospel work. One aspect of preaching the gospel is that it requires people to understand the truth; another is that it requires them to pray to God often and rely on Him more. The Holy Spirit will bestow wisdom upon people and lead and guide them in preaching the gospel. Some people, although they don’t understand many truths, have brought in several people who understand the Bible a bit. Is this not the Holy Spirit working and giving them wisdom? There are also others who haven’t undergone special training and don’t really understand the truths relevant to gospel preaching, but when they preach to their relatives and friends, those people are willing to listen to them and believe, and so they bring them in. So, can such people preach the gospel? (Yes.) And there are others who haven’t believed in God for long and don’t understand the truth; they can only speak some words and doctrines. But they are upright and well-liked. Everyone who interacts with them says they are a good person and is willing to believe what they say. Such people can also preach the gospel. At the very least, they can bring in their own relatives and friends, right? (Yes.) If you continue to cultivate and train them to equip themselves with the truths for preaching the gospel, then once they can fellowship on the truth and resolve some of the notions and questions in the religious world, they will be able to preach the gospel to religious people. If they fail in preaching the gospel, or if they preach the gospel to ten people but can only bring in two at most, what should be done? You should have them urgently equip themselves with the truth. Once they are equipped with the truth and can resolve twenty or thirty questions, they will get better results when they next preach the gospel. If they feel they still understand too little truth and need to continue equipping themselves, then let them equip themselves for another period of time. When the day comes that they can resolve all sixty questions, they will basically be able to resolve any problem they encounter when preaching the gospel. They will be able to bring in anyone who has comprehension ability and can accept the truth. As for those who refuse to accept the truth no matter what, no one can bring them in, because such people are devils and God does not save devils. We shouldn’t waste our efforts on people like that.
