The Above’s Answers to the Questions of God’s Chosen People From Around the World (7)

Fellowship From the Brother Above – November 17, 2025 (Part Seven)

Question 14: I don’t yet understand the truth and can’t discern people. I don’t know how to get to know people and learn about their situation when preaching the gospel, so I can confirm whether they are a potential gospel recipient. Please fellowship on the path for this.

Answer: If you don’t know how to discern people, then I’ll tell you a simple method. First, observe the person’s words and actions to see if they seem like a good person. If they lack reason in their words and actions, they are impervious to reason, and they are always harming and victimizing others, would you still preach the gospel to them? (No.) If the person seems good, speaks very rationally and practically, and is able to accept the truth, then we should preach the gospel to them. What if they have good caliber and comprehension ability, but you don’t understand many truths, and when they raise questions, you can’t fellowship clearly and can’t convince them completely, and as a result, you fail to bring them in? Is this not something that often happens when preaching the gospel? (It is.) In the face of such a failure, is just treating it negatively the right attitude? (No.) Then how should you treat it? (Continue to equip myself with the truth.) You need to know that this kind of failure happens because we lack the truth; we failed to bring them in because we didn’t fellowship on the truth thoroughly and clearly. It’s not their fault, and it’s not that they can’t comprehend the truth. Therefore, we must equip ourselves with the truth to solve this problem. What lesson can a truth-seeker learn from this? They will realize, “My stature is too small, and I am too lacking in the truth. When I encounter someone who hungers and thirsts for righteousness, I can’t answer their questions no matter how I fellowship. It seems that preaching the gospel just doesn’t work without understanding the truth. Only today do I see how impoverished and pitiful I am. I must earnestly equip myself with the truth!” Through this failure, they recognize how impoverished and pitiful they are, and see that it’s not enough to just have the resolve to preach the gospel without understanding the truth; without understanding the truth, you can’t bring people in. In this way, a heart that yearns for the truth emerges within them. Is this not a gain? (It is.) If you encounter someone and preach the gospel to them, and they don’t accept the truth in the slightest no matter how you fellowship on it, and they keep refuting you and engaging in sophistry, arguing back even when they’re in the wrong, you will discover that this person is a devil, an evil person. You’ll say to yourself, “Evil people will never accept the truth, and God does not save evil people. Yet I kept on preaching the gospel to them. Is this not foolish, ignorant, and a waste of effort? I really don’t understand God’s intention! I’ll give up on them and stop preaching the gospel to them.” After hitting a wall a few times preaching to evil people, you will gain this discernment. You will then understand why God does not save evil people. It’s not that God lacks a loving heart or isn’t merciful toward them; it’s that evil people refuse to accept the truth no matter what. They stubbornly reject the truth and resist God, so God does not save them. Such people are destined for destruction. When you have understood these things, have you not learned a lesson? (Yes.) Therefore, the key to discerning people is to look at their attitude toward the truth. If you can discern people in this way, you will be able to discern whether a person is good or evil. If you fellowship on the truth with someone and they don’t accept it in the slightest, then they are likely to be an evil person. But we shouldn’t blindly make this determination about them. You can read a few more passages of Almighty God’s words to them. If they still don’t accept them and carry on judging and condemning, then you will have seen their true colors. They don’t accept the truth in the slightest and are an evil person, and you don’t need to preach the gospel to them anymore. So, haven’t you learned quite a few lessons through preaching the gospel? You’ve come to know what evil people are and why God doesn’t save them, and once you have seen through to their true colors, you will have gained discernment. Therefore, preaching the gospel is very helpful for people in understanding the truth and growing in life. This is because in preaching the gospel, you come into contact with all sorts of people every day: Religious people, nonbelievers, those who accept the truth and those who don’t, those who love the truth and those who hate it, as well as various evil spirits, devils, and Satans—you will encounter every kind of person. If you focus on seeking the truth, then after interacting with all these types of people, you will be able to understand some truths and will know how to view and discern people. The next time you interact with someone, you’ll quickly be able to discern what kind of person they are and will know how to treat them according to principles and with wisdom. In this way, won’t you become fit for God’s use? If you have no discernment of people, then you will have no principles in how you treat them, and you will not be fit for God’s use.

Question 15: How can I discern a person’s nature essence and come to see clearly whether they are a kind person or a wicked one?

Answer: One way to discern a person’s nature essence is by their appearance. Experienced people can tell a person’s nature essence from their appearance. If a person looks vicious, and looking at them scares people or gives them the creeps, an experienced person can tell that they are definitely a bad person. If you’re not able to tell by a person’s appearance, then you can use the truth to discern them. You can read Almighty God’s words to them and fellowship on the truth to see what their attitude is. If they love the truth and can accept it, then they are a good, kind person. If they are repulsed by the truth, then no matter what they look like, they are a devil, and are definitely not a good person. Understand? (Yes.) It is often said that “The truth is what most reveals man,” and this is what this statement refers to. No matter who a person is, their true colors will be revealed before the truth. Whether a person loves the truth or not is revealed in an instant when they are gauged by God’s words. Whether a person is an evil person or not is also fully revealed when they are gauged by God’s words. Tell me, do the leaders of the religious world love the truth? (They don’t.) They only love power and status. They don’t accept the truths expressed by Almighty God, and they even resist and condemn the truth. In this way, they have all been revealed. They are the evil people and antichrists who resist God. Therefore, the truth is what most reveals man, and using the truth to discern people is the most accurate way.

Question 16: When looking for potential gospel recipients, I’m not very good at discerning which people have the work of evil spirits in them or what manifestations this produces in them. Could the brother please fellowship on the principles for gauging this?

Answer: How can you discern which people have the work of evil spirits in them? Tell me, do people who are mentally abnormal have the work of evil spirits in them? (Yes.) Some people are mentally normal at times, but then sometimes suddenly become insane or lose their minds. Do they have the work of evil spirits in them? (Yes.) Some people speak like a human at times, but at other times they speak devilish words. Do they have the work of evil spirits in them? (Yes.) Some people always have evil spirits in their hearts instructing them what to do, and others always speak in tongues when they pray. Do these people have the work of evil spirits in them? (Yes.) These are the kinds of manifestations people with the work of evil spirits exhibit. But some people appear very normal on the outside, without any supernatural manifestations. They don’t speak in tongues, nor do they have a spirit in their hearts instructing them what to do. So how can you determine if they have the work of evil spirits in them? You must discern this type of person based on what they say. If everything they say is fallacious and in constant opposition to God’s words, and if you fellowship on the truth with them but they refuse to accept it no matter what and keep spouting fallacies, then this person is an evil spirit. Someone might say, “But we haven’t seen any supernatural work of evil spirits in them.” The reason you haven’t seen manifestations of the work of evil spirits is that they were born a devil; they were born as the reincarnation of an evil spirit. It’s just like those CCP officials—they don’t have any supernatural manifestations of the work of evil spirits, but they were born as devils who resist God. So, the circumstances of people with the work of evil spirits vary. One type is not the reincarnation of an evil spirit; rather, they were later possessed by one. They will exhibit some supernatural manifestations. Another type is born as the reincarnation of an evil spirit. They don’t exhibit supernatural manifestations, so we must look at their attitude toward the truth. If they particularly hate the truth, hate people who understand the truth, and hate positive things, then they were born as the reincarnation of an evil spirit. Therefore, the main thing to look at when discerning whether a person has the work of evil spirits in them is whether they hate the truth. You shouldn’t base your discernment on whether they exhibit supernatural manifestations of the work of evil spirits. If you use that standard, your assessment won’t be entirely accurate. You’ll only be able to see through some people who clearly have the work of evil spirits, like those who always speak in tongues when they pray, who always have evil spirits speaking to them, and are constantly saying they’ve received revelations, or who can know what will happen tomorrow or the day after, or even know when someone has arrived outside without seeing them, and so on. You can only see that they have the work of evil spirits through these supernatural things. So how do you discern those who don’t do these supernatural things? I’ll tell you the most accurate method: If someone, as soon as they hear you read God’s words and fellowship on the truth, becomes hostile and filled with rage toward you, and their eyes burn with fire and turn red, then that person is an evil spirit, a Satan. If they had any humanity at all, they wouldn’t hate the truth so much, nor would they have such a look in their eyes. Therefore, such a person is an evil spirit; evil spirits particularly hate the truth. If someone consistently comprehends the truth in a particularly absurd way, and no matter how you fellowship on the truth, they can’t be turned away from their fallacious views, then they are a fallacious spirit. If you see someone who comprehends the truth in a particularly absurd way, who is especially good at eliding concepts and engaging in sophistry, they are an absurd spirit. An absurd spirit is even more of an evil spirit. After this fellowship, do you now know how to discern what kinds of people have the work of evil spirits? (Yes.)

Question 17: How should we view people leaving The Church of Almighty God?

Answer: There are several situations in which people leave The Church of Almighty God. One is when someone who has just come to believe in Almighty God and does not yet understand the truth is misled by Satan. Such a person can still be rescued, and we must fellowship on the truth with them again to rescue them. For example, some who have only just come to believe are misled by negative propaganda; some are disturbed by religious pastors and withdraw; and some leave the church because of intense obstruction from their families. These people are all carried away by all sorts of devils and Satans because they do not understand the truth. But if they are good people who love the truth and were only misled because they didn’t understand it, shouldn’t such people be rescued? (They should.) Such people should be rescued. There is another situation in which people leave the church, which is when someone leaves after believing in God for five or six years. Such a person actually already understands some truths. Even if they can’t fellowship on the truth clearly, they understand some of it in their heart. So why would such a person leave the church? It is because they do not love the truth. They think, “You fellowship on the truth every day, always talking about pursuing the truth and doing one’s duty. Listening to this all the time is meaningless to me; it’s not as practical as making money and living a good life. I’m done believing.” And so, they leave the church to go out into the world to make money and live their life. But do they know that this world is about to be destroyed by the great catastrophes? Do they know that only a final and limited amount of time remains for God’s work of saving mankind, and that if a person misses this chance, they will never have another opportunity to receive God’s salvation? Do they know that the outcome for those who leave God to pursue money and the world is to fall into the great catastrophes and be destroyed? They should know these things. So, if they know these things, why are they still able to leave The Church of Almighty God? It is because they do not love the truth, they do not believe in the wonderful destination God has promised man, and they do not have true faith in God. They think, “The idea of God’s work ending soon and the great catastrophes coming is too vague. Every day I see the sun rise in the east and set in the west. Nothing has changed.” So they don’t believe that God will send down the great catastrophes, that God’s work will end soon, and that we are now in the final short period of time in which God saves mankind. They think there’s still plenty of time, that things like the great catastrophes and the destruction of mankind are still a long way off, and that the most important thing right now is to just live their life well. Some even have doubts and think, “You’re always saying the great catastrophes are coming soon, and that the outcome of all things in the world is at hand. How is that possible? Are you trying to mislead people?” They have developed doubts about the truth, and such people are the most likely to leave the church. If these people leave the church for this reason, is it still worth trying to rescue them? (It’s not.) And what if someone who has believed for five or ten years is misled by antichrists and evil spirits? Is such a person still worth rescuing? (They’re not.) Such people lack spiritual understanding and do not love the truth. It’s useless to try to rescue them. They do not accept the truth in their hearts, so trying to save them is a waste of effort. We should spend our time and energy on people who love the truth. Rescuing good people like this is what accords with God’s intention.

Question 18: Some potential gospel recipients assert, “It’s impossible for God to do any other work beyond what is recorded of His words and work in the Bible.” How should we fellowship to resolve this issue? Also, what is the difference between the work God did in the Age of Grace and the work He is doing in the Age of Kingdom?

Answer: These potential gospel recipients believe God does not speak or work beyond what is recorded in the Bible. But do they actually understand the Bible? The Bible contains many prophecies about God returning in the last days to speak and work again. For example, the Lord Jesus prophesied: “He that rejects Me, and accepts not My words, has one that judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day(John 12:48). “I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth(John 16:12–13). It is clear from this that God will express the truth and do the work of judgment in the last days. Since the work of judgment is the work God will do in the last days, it certainly would not have been recorded in the Bible in advance. Therefore, God’s work in the last days is work that is not in the Bible. For these potential gospel recipients to dare to assert that God does not speak or work beyond what is recorded in the Bible proves that they do not understand the Bible; they are judging blindly based on their own will. Are such people not foolish and ignorant? (They are.) That God will express the truth and do the work of judgment in the Age of Kingdom is clearly prophesied in many places in the Bible. The Lord Jesus Himself spoke many words prophesying that God would speak and work again in the last days. For instance, the Lord Jesus prophesied “the coming of the Son of man(Matthew 24:27). So what work will the Son of man do when He comes? He will come to express the truth and do a stage of work to save mankind. Many religious people believe that the Lord only returns to rapture believers into the kingdom of heaven. This view is incorrect. If that were the case, the Lord could just directly rapture people into the air when He comes; there would be no need for Him to express the truth and do the work of judgment. How, then, would the Lord Jesus’ prophecy that the Spirit of truth would come in the last days to express all truth be fulfilled? Therefore, God returns in the last days absolutely not, as people imagine, just to rapture believers into the kingdom of heaven, but rather to express the truth and do a stage of judgment work. So, what results will God achieve by expressing the truth and doing the work of judgment in the last days? He will thoroughly purify man, save man, and make a group of people perfect. This was predetermined by God at the time of creation. In the last days, God will make a group of people who are of one heart and mind with Him, bring them into His kingdom, and finally end this evil age. This is God’s management plan to save mankind, and it is also the result to be achieved by His work of judgment. If God does not purify and save this group of people and bring them into the next age, then His intention in creating mankind and doing so much work upon man would come to nothing, and His creation of mankind would have no meaning. What did God say in Genesis when He created Adam and Eve? “Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness(Genesis 1:26). This statement is fulfilled and accomplished in the last days. In the last days, Almighty God has come to express all truth. If people gain the truth as their life, they will live out the image of the truth, and the image of the truth is the image of God. When people live out the image of the truth, they will have been made complete by God and become humans who accord with God’s intention. Then God’s words, “Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness,” will have been completely fulfilled and accomplished. Tell me, where did God create man? (On earth.) And who controls the earth? (Satan.) Ever since Satan was cast down from the third heaven by God, it reigned over the earth, and the earth has become Satan’s domain. So why did God choose to create Adam and Eve in Satan’s domain? Why would He hand mankind over to Satan to be corrupted? There are mysteries in this, and these are all mysteries that are unveiled by the little scroll. Let’s fellowship on this briefly. What was God’s intention in handing mankind over to Satan? Was it because He wanted to toy with mankind? (No. God’s intention was for people to personally experience being tormented and corrupted by Satan, so that they could discern Satan’s wickedness and better know God’s holy and righteous essence, thereby rejecting Satan, truly returning to God, and being completely gained by God.) This was God’s intention right from the time He cast Satan down from the third heaven. God wanted to make a group of overcomers to utterly shame and defeat Satan, so that it would no longer mislead or corrupt any created being. So, after God had this intention, what did He do? He created mankind on earth. God wanted to use Satan to render service to make a group of people who are of one heart and mind with Him, and so He handed mankind over to Satan. When Satan saw the mankind God had created, it was delighted. It said, “God, You created mankind on earth, and earth is my domain. I will corrupt the mankind You created. I will corrupt them until they all resist You like I do, so that Your plan in creating and gaining mankind will come to nothing and fail.” With this intention, Satan began to corrupt mankind. God knew long ago that Satan would do this. God said, “I will allow you to corrupt mankind for six thousand years, but I will not stand idly by. I will work to save man from your influence of darkness and make a group of people who are of one heart and mind with Me, so that you will be utterly shamed and defeated.” So, God has been working constantly to save man for the six thousand years that Satan has been corrupting mankind. In the last days in particular, God has once again become incarnate as an ordinary person, expressing the truth and doing a stage of judgment work to purify and save man, and ultimately making a group of people who are of one heart and mind with Him. At this point, Satan will be utterly shamed and defeated, and God will cast it into the bottomless pit. The people made complete by God will be brought into God’s kingdom, and God’s management plan in creating and saving mankind will be brought to a successful close. Is what God is doing not a good thing? (It is.) Then why does God express the truth to save man? The significance of this is truly profound. It is because Satan uses satanic dispositions, satanic knowledge, satanic philosophies, and satanic poisons to corrupt mankind. After six thousand years of corruption by Satan, man has long since been corrupted to the core and become an embodiment of Satan. It can be said that man is Satan. As God works to save people, satanic dispositions, knowledge, and traditional culture dominate and control people from within, causing them to rebel against, resist, and oppose God. God uses the truth, what He has and is, and His disposition to conquer, purify, and save mankind. When the truth takes charge in people and becomes their life, the satanic dispositions, knowledge, philosophies, and poisons within them disappear. In this way, corrupt mankind, which is of Satan, is purified, saved, and made perfect, and so the result of shaming, defeating, and overcoming Satan is achieved. This is a battle. Therefore, this stage of work in the last days, in which God expresses the truth to judge man, is the work of conquest. What is meant by conquest? It means God using the truth to battle and contend with this evil and corrupt mankind and with the forces of Satan. In the end, He defeats and conquers all those who are of Satan, and saves and perfects those who pursue the truth. This is the significance of the work of conquest. When God has gained a group of people, He will send down the great catastrophes to destroy this old world, and with that, this evil age will come to an end. Tell me, is there no significance in God ending this age in this way? (There is.) There is great significance. By doing this, what God ultimately gains is a group of people who have broken free from Satan’s influence of darkness and can be of one heart and mind with Him. This is the final result to be achieved by God’s work in the Age of Kingdom.
