The Above’s Answers to the Questions of God’s Chosen People From Around the World (7)
Fellowship From the Brother Above – November 17, 2025 (Part Eight)
Question 19: Right now, our biggest difficulty in preaching the gospel is cultivating people. Some gospel workers don’t know how to resolve the problems of potential gospel recipients, and some don’t even know how to use the tools that are necessary in preaching the gospel—for example, they can’t use social media to communicate with potential gospel recipients. In this situation, how should we cultivate people? And how can we effectively utilize our current personnel to better carry out the gospel work?
Answer: Cultivating people is a key task for leaders and workers. One aspect of the main work of leaders and workers is to lead God’s chosen people to understand the truth and enter into the truth reality. This means using the truth to resolve the actual problems and difficulties of God’s chosen people. By resolving these problems and difficulties, God’s chosen people come to understand the truth, grasp the principles of practice, and enter into the truth reality. The other aspect of the main work of leaders and workers is to cultivate and train people to do their duties well, the most crucial part of which is training gospel workers. To train people to preach the gospel, you must understand many truth principles relevant to preaching the gospel. Tell me, if a person doesn’t grasp the truth principles for preaching the gospel, can they achieve results in preaching the gospel? (No.) If they don’t understand the truth principles for preaching the gospel, they won’t be able to discern different types of people, they won’t know who to preach the gospel to, and they won’t be able to resolve the various notions and questions raised by religious people. Therefore, leaders and workers must train gospel workers to understand these truth principles. In addition, we now preach the gospel online most of the time. If a person doesn’t know how to use a phone or computer, can they preach the gospel? (No.) So, don’t leaders and workers also have to help people learn to use these necessary tools? (Yes.) The most difficult task for leaders and workers is training people to preach the gospel, especially those who have believed in God for a short time. Although they are willing to preach the gospel, they are just starting to do a duty and are unfamiliar and unacquainted with all the tasks involved. The key point is they do not yet understand the truth, so training this group of people is the most difficult. It’s like raising a child; only if you constantly take care of them will they gradually grow into an adult. At what stage is a child most difficult to care for? They are most difficult to care for when they are an infant. An infant doesn’t even know how to eat, drink, or relieve themselves, and their parents have to take care of everything. This is the most difficult and tiring time for parents. When the child grows to be three to five years old and can eat and dress themselves, the parents can relax a little. So, isn’t training brothers and sisters who have just come to believe in God to preach the gospel the same as taking care of an infant? (It is.) It requires great patience and perseverance, as well as great love, and the ability to be tolerant and patient with people. Otherwise, you cannot do this work. Some people, in order to do their work well, are busy from dawn to dusk. After a while, they feel, “Believing in God is too tiring. What am I so busy from dawn to dusk every day for? Why does believing in God involve being so busy? I was never this busy at my job!” But if they can seek God’s intention, they will ponder deeply and come to understand, “I’m so busy, but am I not doing my duty? Am I not pursuing and practicing the truth? Am I not fulfilling God’s commission? I need to be this busy since I am fulfilling God’s commission. Being busy with this is meaningful; I am preparing good deeds.” Although they may have some complaints at first, after experiencing things for a longer period of time, understanding God’s intention, and gaining self-knowledge to the point of practicing the truth and bearing testimony for God, they will feel that living this way is very fulfilling. Then, no matter how busy they are in their duty or how difficult it is, they will no longer feel tired, and they will have no more complaints. Tell me, for how many years has Almighty God been busy working and expressing the truth since He appeared? He began expressing the truth in 1991 and has been busy for over thirty years now, and He is still not finished. But God has never complained, nor has He ever stopped expressing the truth and working to save man. In God’s management plan, He still has much work to do and many truths to express. And for how many years have I been busy with the work of the church? (Thirty to forty years.) I was busy even before Almighty God appeared and began His work. At that time, the Holy Spirit was doing great work on me in advance, and I was constantly traveling to churches all over the place to hold gatherings and preach sermons. I always felt there was so much work that needed to be done. After Almighty God appeared and began His work, I became even busier. Not only did I have to fellowship on the truth to lead God’s chosen people in their life entry, but I also had to supervise the various items of work in the church, such as gospel work and watering newcomers. Do you think I was busy? (You were.) In particular, when the gospel began to spread in various countries, I also had to supervise some professional work, such as making movies, producing experiential testimony videos, and producing hymns. In fact, I had never studied the professional skills involved in these tasks, but in order to shoulder the work, I had to put in a lot of effort to study and research various professional skills. I was busy like this for over a decade, and in the end, we produced dozens of gospel movies, over a thousand experiential testimony videos, and over a thousand hymns. Later, God said, “The church life of the newcomers in various countries is too monotonous. This doesn’t produce good results. There is a need to make some dance videos for everyone to learn from and dance to, to enrich their church life.” So I began to organize the dance team, and we spent every day figuring out how to dance. Over the course of a year, we produced more than a hundred dance videos. After the dance work had achieved these results, God mentioned, “There are enough dance videos. We need to report on what church life is really like in various countries and on the CCP’s persecution of religion. This will be helpful for the life entry of God’s chosen people.” So, I began to set up a reporting team. But to set up a reporting team, I had to select suitable talented people. I had to find people who could write, edit, and do special effects, as well as those who could be anchors and reporters, and so on. I had to find and select people right away, and after I had selected more or less enough personnel, I had to train them in the professional skills related to reporting work. But I was also unfamiliar with the professional skills needed for this work. However, this is God’s commission, and the significance of this work is great. If we don’t understand something, we have to learn it right away. No matter how difficult it is, we have to fulfill God’s commission. So tell me, are there not a lot of tasks to do? Are they not difficult? (There are a lot of tasks, and they are very difficult.) Therefore, the work that leaders and workers have to do is not simple. Not only do they need to fellowship on the truth to resolve problems, but they also need to be able to arrange various tasks and to cultivate and train people to do their work. Results cannot be achieved in these tasks overnight; people must spend a lot of energy and pay a great price before the work can be done well. So if you want to cultivate people to do the gospel work well, you must put in a lot of effort and pay a price.
Question 20: I am a member of the Church in the UK and I enjoy music and singing. I would like to know if we can produce our own hymn videos in the Church in the UK. If so, the brothers and sisters of the Church in the UK would like to discuss how to produce them.
Answer: That’s a good question. In the future, the churches in every country should set up hymn teams, video teams, and reporting teams. If there aren’t enough people right now, then this work can be carried out as appropriate according to the circumstances in each country. For example, if there are talented singers, they can make some hymn videos to praise God. If there are talented dancers, they can make some dance videos to praise God. If there are talented photographers, screenwriters, and directors, they can train themselves in making movies, starting with short films of about half an hour, and then gradually moving on to full-length movies. In short, the work should be done according to the actual circumstances of the churches in each country; if there are people with particular talents in a church, this church should do work that uses these talents. Working in God’s house is liberating and freeing. As long as the work you do praises God and testifies to God’s work, and is beneficial to spreading the gospel, to people investigating the true way, and to church life, then it can all be done. God’s house hopes that churches in more countries can produce hymn and dance videos, experiential testimony videos, and films that testify to God. Your desire to produce hymn videos to praise God is completely in line with God’s intention; it is what God approves of and delights in most. If there are people with any kind of talent in any country, we should give them opportunities to train themselves so that their strengths can be put to use in God’s house and they can do some work that testifies to God and prepare more good deeds. How does that sound? (Good.) Therefore, no matter which country or church they are in, when leaders and workers discover talented people, they should quickly cultivate and use them, allowing them to do the duties they are capable of to the best of their ability to testify to God. This is a task that leaders and workers should undertake. No matter what gifts or strengths a person has, after they have come to believe in God and understand some of the truth, they should use their gifts and strengths in doing their duty to repay God’s love. This is because their gifts and strengths were bestowed on them by God; they come from God. If God had not bestowed these gifts and strengths on them, they would not be able to learn or master any skill on their own however much they studied it. For example, some people can sing and dance, some can write, and some can direct and film. These are all gifts bestowed on them by God. They are naturally good at these professional skills, and then through later study, they can easily improve their skills. So, let’s offer our gifts and strengths to God, use them in our duty, and expend ourselves for God. How does that sound? (Good.) What if you say, “What’s the use of using my gifts and strengths in my duty? I can earn money singing in the world, but I don’t earn any money singing in God’s house. What’s the use of that?” Is it right to say this? (No.) Why not? (Anyone who says this has no conscience. As a created being, doing our duty to satisfy God is perfectly natural and justified, and we should not try to bargain with God or demand payment.) Your gifts and strengths are all bestowed on you by God, and you should use them to expend yourself for God and testify to God. This is speaking from the perspective of conscience. In addition, you may be able to earn some money by using your gifts and strengths to do things in the world, but do you know what you will ultimately gain if you sincerely expend yourself for God? If you sincerely expend yourself for God, what you ultimately gain is the truth, eternal life, and God’s approval and blessings. Tell me, compared to the few material things you gain in the world, which is more valuable and meaningful? Which is more beneficial to your outcome and destination? (Expending ourselves for God and testifying to God is more valuable and more beneficial to our outcome and destination.) You must see this matter clearly. Right now, we don’t earn money by expending ourselves for God, but when you sincerely expend yourself for God and bear many wonderful testimonies, what can you gain in the future? What will you enjoy? What is the blessing God has promised you? Do you know? He will allow you to enter a wonderful destination, that is, to enter the kingdom—the kingdom of heaven. If you expend yourself for God and can ultimately bear testimony, you will be able to survive the catastrophes and enter the kingdom of heaven. That is a tremendous blessing! Tell me, how much money would it take to buy the blessing of entering the kingdom of heaven? How much money would it take to buy survival in the great catastrophes? How much money would it take to buy life? These things can’t be bought for any amount of money. Can you see this matter clearly? (Yes.) If you can’t even see this matter clearly, and you still think, “I don’t earn any money expending myself for God now, and I won’t get to enjoy any of the glory and wealth of the world. What a pity!”—are these not foolish words? (They are.) Almighty God says: “No one can take away the work that has been done in you, and the blessings that have been bestowed upon you, and no one can take away all that has been given to you” (The Word, Vol. 1. The Appearance and Work of God. Know God’s Newest Work and Follow His Footsteps). What do these words mean? They tell you that by sincerely expending yourself for God, toiling and paying a price, you can ultimately gain the truth and eternal life. This is the blessing God has preordained that He will give you, and it is a blessing that no one can take away. So, in the end, although you may not have earned much money in the world, you will have gained a blessing that no amount of money can buy. Is this not the most valuable thing? If you cannot see this matter clearly and do not cherish this blessing, and still want to give up on expending yourself for God, then you are the biggest fool.
Question 21: In the process of preaching the gospel, we’ve met some people who are unwilling to gather with others to study God’s words, saying they prefer to pray alone. How should we guide these people so they can understand the importance and benefits of listening to sermons and fellowshipping on God’s words with their brothers and sisters?
Answer: Tell me, what kind of people are those who believe in God but are only willing to pray alone? Do they think that prayer can solve all problems? If a person believes in God but doesn’t understand the truth, can prayer alone solve the problem of sinning? Can it solve the problem of corrupt dispositions? Can it solve the problems that hinder people from entering the kingdom of heaven? (It cannot.) None of these problems can be solved. They will just continue to sin and confess, and there will be no change in their corrupt dispositions. Look, for how many years have the Jews been praying? At least four thousand years, yet they are still capable of sinning and resisting God. Even now, they do not even accept the Lord Jesus. What does this show? Relying on prayer alone simply cannot solve the problem of sinning and resisting God, nor can it enable you to be cleansed and attain salvation. No matter how many years you pray, you can never achieve these results. Some people always think that praying alone can solve all problems—is this view not very absurd? (It is.) So, when you encounter such a person, you should ask them, “Has praying alone solved your problem of sinning? Can praying alone enable you to know yourself? Has praying alone allowed you to achieve submission to God? What truths have you understood from praying alone up to now?” You don’t understand any truth, and you haven’t solved any real problems. So, can praying alone really get you into the kingdom of heaven? If you haven’t accepted God’s work of the last days and haven’t received the supply of the truths expressed by God in the last days, then no matter how much you pray, you won’t achieve any real results, nor will you be able to cast off your corrupt dispositions to attain salvation and enter the kingdom of heaven. In the Age of Kingdom, the most important thing in believing in God is to eat and drink God’s present words; prayer is secondary. Moreover, prayer cannot be separated from God’s present words. You must pray within God’s present words to achieve results. Praying outside of God’s present words and work is useless. No matter how much you pray in this way, it will all be in vain, and God will not listen. So, tell me, what about the prayers of religious people for those in power? Some people even pray for the CCP, this satanic regime that resists God. What about such prayers? They are not accepted by God. God says you are praying for devils and Satan, that you are blind, foolish, and ignorant. Therefore, you must pray within God’s present words and work, and you must pray according to God’s intention. Only such prayer is in line with God’s intention. If you haven’t welcomed the Lord, haven’t kept up with God’s present words and work, and haven’t heard the truths expressed by God in the last days, then however much you pray alone, it is useless. God will not listen to your prayers, and in God’s eyes, you are the most foolish and ignorant of people, a muddled believer.
Question 22: I have believed in Almighty God for nearly three years, but sometimes I still exhibit some bad behaviors—for example, revealing hotheadedness and pride. I feel very sad about this, and I don’t know how to change these behaviors. Also, I’d like to ask another question: Some people did some bad things before accepting Almighty God. Which of these things can God never forgive?
Answer: It’s perfectly normal to still reveal some corrupt dispositions when you have accepted Almighty God’s work for three years; this is not a serious problem. The key is whether you have understood some truths in your three years of belief. Have you resolved some of your corrupt dispositions? If you have achieved these results, then it’s okay even if you reveal some corrupt dispositions. As long as you continue to pursue the truth and experience God’s work, these corrupt dispositions can be completely resolved. If you don’t understand any truth at all, and you just reveal corrupt dispositions without bearing any positive experiential testimony, then you have achieved nothing in your three years of belief, and it will not be easy to resolve your corrupt dispositions. In fact, if a person truly pursues the truth, then after three years of belief, they should be able to understand some truths, they should have some life growth, and there should be some changes in their disposition. Although such a person still reveals corruption, this is very normal. After you’ve believed for a few more years, understood more truths, and are able to practice more truths, you will have fewer revelations of corruption than you do now. In this way, will your life not gradually grow? Tell me, will a person who has believed in God for ten years still reveal corruption? (They will.) For example, how many years must you experience the truth of being an honest person before you can enter into it and reach the point where you no longer tell any lies at all? This is not something that can be achieved in a short time, as people imagine. You must experience many years of judgment and chastisement and gain true knowledge of your own deceitful and wicked nature before you can practice the truth and be an honest person. Therefore, resolving corrupt dispositions is not as simple as people imagine. But no matter how long you have experienced, or how much corruption you reveal, as long as you can ultimately practice the truth and achieve some life entry, and bear some testimonies of your corrupt dispositions being cleansed, then you are a person who pursues the truth; you will have some truth reality. In God’s eyes, you will have attained salvation. If, in God’s eyes, you are not a person who accepts and pursues the truth, your corrupt dispositions have not been cleansed, and you haven’t borne any experiential testimony at all, then you cannot be saved however many years you have believed for. God weighs up whether a person can be saved based on whether they have borne true experiential testimony. Whether someone has borne true experiential testimony or not is the most telling thing. If you haven’t borne any experiential testimony at all, it proves that you don’t understand any truth at all, and you absolutely cannot be saved. Some of God’s chosen people now have borne experiential testimonies—God’s chosen people in the churches in Italy, Brazil, the United States, and Spain have all borne some. We’ve seen this in the on-the-scene reports on their church life. They’ve only believed in God for a few years, yet they have already borne these experiential testimonies and gained experiential understanding of God’s work; this has made them even more energetic in their pursuit of the truth. In this way, the more they experience God’s work, the more they can enter into the truth reality, and the deeper their life entry becomes. In the end, they will attain salvation. What does it show when a person has some life entry and has borne some experiential testimonies? It shows that the Holy Spirit is working on them. If the Holy Spirit is working in a person, He can certainly make them complete. As long as a person does not betray God and continues to pursue the truth and experience God’s work, they can ultimately be made perfect by God. If a person has no work of the Holy Spirit in them at all, that’s very troublesome. It shows they are not a right person, that they cannot take the right path, and that they cannot be saved and made perfect.
There was another question: Some people did some bad things before believing in God. Which of these things can God not forgive? The sin of blaspheming God and the Holy Spirit cannot be forgiven. God can forgive all sins other than this one. For example, God can forgive things like lying, fornication, and theft, but the sin of blaspheming God and the Holy Spirit is unforgivable. For instance, many people in the religious world have blasphemed Almighty God. This sin cannot be forgiven, and these people have been condemned by God. Therefore, all sins committed before coming to believe in God can be forgiven, except for the sin of blaspheming God. And what about sins committed after coming to believe in Almighty God? After coming to believe in Almighty God, there is one more unforgivable sin: the sin of betraying God. Some believers, after being arrested by the CCP, turn Judas, denying and betraying God, and even leading the police to arrest their brothers and sisters. Such people have acted as accomplices of the great red dragon, and they have been thoroughly condemned and completely eliminated by God. However, the situation is different for those who sign the “Three Statements.” Some people, after signing the “Three Statements,” feel extreme remorse and continue to persist in believing in God and doing their duty. Such people may still have hope. Only those who act as accomplices, informants, and spies for the great red dragon will never be forgiven by God; they have been thoroughly condemned and completely eliminated by God. So, in God’s eyes, there are two types of sin that are unforgivable: One is the sin of blaspheming the Holy Spirit, and the other is the sin of betraying God. Both are grave sins and cannot be forgiven. Sins other than these can all be wiped clean, as long as you stop committing them after you come to believe in Almighty God. If you can also suffer, pay a price, expend yourself for God, and pursue the truth to resolve your corrupt dispositions, then you can be even more certain that your sins will be forgiven by God.
Question 23: I supervise the gospel work. When I communicate with the gospel preachers, I don’t dare to point out and correct their mistakes because I’m afraid of hurting them. However, there are some problems I cannot avoid. How can I get rid of this concern and stop trying to maintain relationships with others?
Answer: If a brother or sister is irresponsible in doing their duty, then as a leader or worker, you should point out their problem. There’s nothing wrong with that, but you still need to adopt different methods for people of differing stature. If they are a new believer who doesn’t yet understand much of the truth, and their stature is too small and they are too fragile, then you need to use some wisdom and take a gentle approach when fellowshipping with them. This way, you’re not as likely to hurt them, and you can still let them know about their problem. If they have believed in God for three to five years and have experienced some judgment, chastisement, and pruning, then you can directly fellowship the truth with them and point out their problems. They might feel a bit of discomfort or pain at the time, but if they are a person who pursues the truth, then afterward, they will be able to recognize that what you said helps them and is beneficial to them, and they won’t resent you or retaliate against you. So, when dealing with this type of person, you can directly point out their problems. In doing so, you are not trying to torment them; you are not exaggerating the facts or condemning them, but simply exposing their wrong practices and helping them fulfill their duty. If they reflect on and know themselves based on the exposures of God’s words, they will be able to fully understand God’s intention. However, if they are prejudiced against you personally and refuse to accept your fellowship no matter how you go about it, and they don’t feel that you are helping them, then it’s best not to speak with them for the time being. You can find someone who has a good relationship with them to fellowship with them instead. This way, it will be easier to achieve results. Is this not a wise approach? (It is.)
Question 24: Recently, the Philippines has suffered many natural disasters, such as strong typhoons that have caused power and internet outages. We’ve lost contact with many brothers, sisters, and potential gospel recipients, which has directly affected the results of the gospel work. We feel it’s very difficult to do our work in this environment and we don’t have a path of practice. In the face of these real problems, how can we be devoted and fulfill our duty?
Answer: It’s very common to encounter practical difficulties in doing your duty. There will be difficulties no matter where you work; it’s just that the difficulties encountered in each place are different. The Philippines is now facing natural disasters, and this is a difficulty. In South America, Brazil often has power outages, and this is also a difficulty. The ongoing war in Ukraine and Russia is an even greater difficulty. And in mainland China, the great red dragon is carrying out mass arrests of believers in God, which is the greatest difficulty of all. So, tell me, how should God’s chosen people in mainland China practice in the face of the great red dragon’s mass arrests? I’ve told them that all dangerous duties must be stopped. Since they are already in danger, leaders and workers should quickly go into hiding to do their work and not show their faces. The CCP would arrest them straight away if they showed their faces. The CCP’s surveillance equipment is incredibly advanced; they use the world’s most high-end surveillance equipment to monitor and arrest God’s chosen people. Tell me, does this not affect the gospel work? (It does.) We can say that God’s chosen people in mainland China have no way to do gospel preaching duty under these circumstances. All work that could be dangerous must be stopped, to be resumed when the environment is relatively safer. At a time like this, can we still require them to achieve great results in preaching the gospel? (No.) In that environment in mainland China, it’s almost impossible to preach the gospel, so God’s house does not require them to achieve great results in preaching the gospel. However, when I look at the work reports from the pastoral areas in the mainland, I see that some of them are still able to bring in one or two thousand people each quarter. What’s going on here? I’ve already told God’s chosen people in mainland China that it’s currently a dangerous period there, and that all dangerous work should be stopped. But they haven’t stopped, nor have they said things like, “The Above said it’s a dangerous period, and all dangerous work should be stopped, so we won’t preach the gospel anymore.” They still try every means possible to find opportunities to preach the gospel, and when the environment permits, they preach the gospel to their relatives and friends. They’ve now achieved some results. This is doing their duty to the best of their ability. The CCP is carrying out mass arrests of Christians; tell me—how dangerous is that environment? The Communist Party is a revolutionary party; it is the devil Satan. The CCP’s policy toward believers in Almighty God is that they can be beaten to death with impunity. Once believers are arrested, they are in danger of losing their lives at any moment. If you don’t want to die, you have to sign the “Three Statements” and deny God, otherwise they are going to beat you to death. Tell me, isn’t it extremely dangerous to do one’s duty in that environment in mainland China? (It is.) But God’s chosen people in the mainland are still able to preach the gospel and do their duty to the best of their ability in this environment. This is being devoted to God. Now, some other countries are experiencing natural disasters, such as earthquakes, floods, and volcanic eruptions, which cause power and internet outages. These are also real difficulties. Although the work may be affected at the time, this is only temporary. After the disaster passes, people will be able to do their duty normally again, and we can then do our best to remedy the situation.
