The Above’s Answers to the Questions of God’s Chosen People From Around the World (7)
Fellowship From the Brother Above – November 17, 2025 (Part Nine)
Question 25: The Church in the Philippines is now completely independent, and I’ve been elected as the leader of the pastoral area decision-making group, responsible for following up on and driving the work of the leaders and workers at all levels in my area. Whenever I identify problems and provide solutions, I’m never sure if these solutions are correct, practical, and feasible. I also worry that these solutions aren’t in line with the truth principles and won’t be able to truly help them. This has caused me to lose faith and motivation in my work. How can I do the work effectively?
Answer: How should a decision-making group do its work? First, all the members of the decision-making group should get together to summarize the problems that exist in the work and clearly fellowship on the solutions. After that, everyone can divide up the work: The group leaders take responsibility for certain areas of the work, and the deputy leaders and other members can be assigned other specific tasks. Once the work has been assigned, everyone can go off to do their part. Two weeks later, they should get together again to fellowship with each other about which problems have been resolved and which have not. Everyone should fellowship on the truth together to seek solutions for the unresolved problems. Once they have found a path, they can then go and resolve the problems. By cooperating in this way, the work that needs to be done will be done well. After some time, if you discover another problem in your work, you should first try to resolve it yourself if you can. If you can’t, then fellowship and seek with everyone else. Once a solution has been decided upon, you can then go and resolve the problem. This is how the members of a decision-making group should do their work. After working for a period of time, the members of a decision-making group should get together to seek and fellowship on the problems they can’t resolve. Once they have decided on the solutions, they should go their separate ways to do the work. If they discover more problems later, they should get together again to seek and fellowship. By constantly discovering and resolving problems in this way, the results of the work will get better and better, and the results of all the items of work in the church will also improve.
Tell me, how can a decision-making group do the gospel work and the work of watering the church well? First, you must look at who of the two decision-making group leaders is best at doing gospel work, and who is best at fellowshipping on the truth to resolve problems. The group leader who is best at doing gospel work can direct that work, while the leader who is best at fellowshipping on the truth to resolve problems can be responsible for watering the church. If you are the decision-making group leader responsible for gospel work, you should call a meeting with the gospel team and the supervisors and deacons responsible for gospel work in the church. Ask them what difficulties and problems they have in their work, and then fellowship with them to address these issues. All problems related to preaching the gospel must be resolved. For example, if God’s house requires a certain aspect of the gospel work to be implemented, you must implement it promptly. If there are any unresolved difficulties or problems in the process of preaching the gospel, you must resolve them quickly. If there are any problems that you can’t fellowship clearly on or resolve completely, then you should bring them to the decision-making group, and seek and fellowship on them with everyone. Once you’ve gained clarity through fellowship on them, you can then go and fellowship with the brothers and sisters to resolve these issues. In this way, the problems in the gospel work will gradually be resolved, and the results will get better and better. If you are the group leader responsible for the work of watering the church, then you must take responsibility for watering the church well. You should ponder on the most effective ways to hold gatherings, eat and drink God’s words, and fellowship on God’s words. You must put effort into this, so that those who attend the gatherings feel, “This gathering was truly fruitful! The words of God the host chose were so apt, and the questions he raised were really crucial. When he brought up the questions and everyone fellowshipped based on God’s words, it was so clear, and now we have a path!” This shows that church life has achieved results. In addition, you must observe who in each church hosts church life most effectively and who does not, and summarize the reasons why their results are good or bad. Then, you should organize everyone to fellowship on this matter together. First, ask the people who get good results when they host gatherings to share their good paths and what principles should be adhered to when hosting a gathering. Then, with everyone, analyze what deviations are present in those who don’t get good results when they host gatherings. If you fellowship on these real problems with everyone clearly, they will have a path for hosting gatherings, and those who didn’t get good results previously will be able to make some progress. Isn’t this doing the work of watering the church well? Tell me, what are the characteristics of a gathering hosted by someone who gets good results when they host church life? The main characteristic is that they let all the brothers and sisters fellowship. Anyone who wants to fellowship on the truth or share their experiential testimony can do so. In the gathering, everyone can share their own comprehension and knowledge, their spirits are liberated, it is enjoyable for them, and the atmosphere of the gathering is good. Furthermore, when everyone shares their own experiential understanding, everyone gains a lot, and can gain some truths in all aspects. But hosts who don’t get good results lack this reason. They don’t have any experiential testimony of their own, nor can they fellowship on the truth to resolve problems. In gatherings, they only speak words and doctrines, and they go on and on. As a result, they take up half the time of the gathering, and the other brothers and sisters have no time to fellowship. Everyone is very dissatisfied with them as a gathering host because they monopolize the floor and take up everyone’s time. So, should this practice be stopped? (It should.) If they fellowship on and on, and you don’t interrupt them, they could take up the entire gathering. Tell me, should they be interrupted in this situation? (They should.) What if they get angry when they are interrupted? In that case, you should fellowship on the principles of fellowshipping on God’s words in a gathering. You can say, “We have quite a few people in this gathering. Shouldn’t we set a time limit for how long each person can fellowship? If there are fifteen people in this three-hour gathering, and we divide the time equally—that’s about ten minutes per person. When our ten minutes are up, we should stop right away, otherwise, others won’t have time to fellowship.” If you fellowship with and arrange things for everyone in this way, everyone will have a chance to speak and will be willing to fellowship. When they fellowship on their true state, the Holy Spirit will enlighten them, work in them, and lead them, and they will begin to gain real experiential understanding of God’s words. When they have real experiential understanding, they will be more willing to share it to bear testimony for God. Gradually, everyone will be able to talk about their real experiences in gatherings. Won’t the results of the gatherings be better this way? Won’t the brothers and sisters all be able to benefit and gain from them? (Yes.) Therefore, sharing time in gatherings must be allocated according to the number of people, so that the gathering will yield good results. But there is another problem here. Say everyone gets a chance to speak in the gathering, but some people only talk about external matters that are superficial and meaningless. These external matters don’t count as experiential testimony, and they offer no benefit or edification to others. Yet these people are still eager to speak and don’t want to stop once they get started. What should be done in this situation? (Limits should be set.) You must fellowship clearly with the brothers and sisters on what kind of experiential understanding counts as life experiential testimony and can edify and benefit others. Anyone who has had such experiences can speak for a little longer. You must also fellowship clearly on what kind of experiential understanding does not count as life experiential testimony and offers little edification or benefit to others. If you have only had such experiences, you should keep it brief. Don’t take time away from others who have experiential testimony to share, which would be a manifestation of doing a disservice to others and of irrationality. If you have no genuine life experiences, and in gatherings you only want to show off and put yourself on display, talking about superficial things that don’t edify others, then you should have a bit of reason and keep quiet for the time being. We should let those who have experiential testimonies and those whose words can edify others, speak more. Therefore, in gatherings, those with life experiences can speak for twenty minutes, while those without can fellowship for a shorter time or not at all. If they want to train themselves in fellowshipping, let them speak for three minutes. If you fellowship with everyone and establish some rules like this, and everyone abides by and practices them, the results of church life will get better and better. Everyone will have a chance to speak, and in particular, those with spiritual understanding, those with the Holy Spirit’s enlightenment and illumination, and those with life experiences will have more opportunities to fellowship. When they fellowship, people are willing to listen, and everyone prefers it when they fellowship a little longer. For those without life experiential testimony, three minutes of fellowship is enough. When one day they gain life experiences, and everyone is willing to let them speak a little longer, then they can be allowed to speak for a few more minutes. If you organize the brothers and sisters to live church life in this way, then the more experiential understanding they have, the more liberated they will feel when fellowshipping on God’s words, and the more the Holy Spirit will work on them. Over time, their life experiences will deepen, and they will be more willing to live church life because they have benefited from it. Gradually, their caliber will also improve, and they will be able to fellowship on the truth to resolve problems. Then these people will be able to become leaders and workers. What are the benefits of being a leader or a worker? The benefits are that you can accept God’s commission, experience more of God’s work, and have the opportunity to be perfected by God and bear testimony for Him. When you can bear testimony for God, you are someone who is put to great use by God, you are a pillar in the temple, and you can receive the blessings of the kingdom of heaven. No one can take these blessings away. So, don’t underestimate those opportunities to train yourselves for a few minutes that come up in church life. If you keep training yourself in fellowshipping on the truth in this way, you can gain the work of the Holy Spirit and be made perfect by Him. You will understand more and more truths, your faith will grow stronger and stronger, and your life will also make more and more progress. This is how you should train yourself in doing the work of watering the church. If you can lead the brothers and sisters to live church life well, the results of the work in your area of responsibility will get better and better, and you will feel more and more that you have the Holy Spirit’s guidance in your work, and that working in this way accords with God’s intentions. In that case, will your faith not grow stronger? (It will.) When you go to do the work again, you will no longer be afraid or trembling, and you won’t have to worry about being eliminated for not doing your work well: You will know how to do the work. In addition, when doing the work, you should seek and fellowship with other coworkers no matter what difficulties or problems you encounter. Once clarity is reached after fellowship, you will have a path when you go to do the work and resolve the problems. After some time, if you encounter more problems in your work that you cannot resolve and you cannot find a path of practice, everyone should get together again to seek and fellowship. Once clarity is reached after fellowship, you can then go and do the work. If you continue to do the work in this way, you will gradually have more and more of a path and achieve better and better results in your work. When you can fellowship on the truth to resolve many of the real problems of God’s chosen people, and everyone feels that your fellowship is excellent and clear, then you will have become fit for God’s use, and gradually, you will be able to be used by the Holy Spirit.
So, what should you do when you encounter problems and difficulties in your work? You must always ponder how to resolve them. For one thing, you should pray to God and seek, and find a path in God’s words. For another, you should fellowship with brothers and sisters who understand the truth, or if you meet a brother or sister who has experience in this area, you should seek from them. You can say, “The problem I’m facing is quite common, but I can’t resolve it on my own. Could you fellowship with me? I need your help.” If you can seek in this way, they will be willing to help you. They might say, “I have some experience, but my understanding isn’t very deep. But since you’ve sought from me, let’s fellowship. Perhaps I can help you.” When they fellowship with you, you might just find a path to a solution. You should have this attitude when doing your work. When you face problems and difficulties, you should always ponder them, always pray to God and seek the truth, and always seek and fellowship with your brothers and sisters. When one day you understand the truth and know how to practice it, you will be able to resolve problems in your work with ease. It will be effortless, and success will come naturally. If you resolve one problem but then encounter another that you can’t resolve, and you can’t fellowship on it clearly no matter how you try, then you should pray and seek again, fellowship with your brothers and sisters again, or read God’s words to seek a path to a solution. By seeking the truth through various means, one day you will finally read a passage of God’s words that will make you feel completely illuminated. Then, when you go to do your work again, you will resolve the problem, and the results of your work will get better and better. This is the process I go through in my work. When I encounter a problem, I pray to God to resolve it, and the Holy Spirit directly enlightens and illuminates me, so resolving the problem doesn’t take a lot of effort. That’s why in gatherings, I let you all raise any questions you have as you like, and I can resolve your problems right on the spot. If there are any problems that I don’t resolve very thoroughly at the time, I will continue to fellowship on them next time until they are completely resolved. In addition, I have the leaders and workers collect some problems every so often, and then I hold a gathering specifically to resolve them. This is taking the initiative and going on the offensive to resolve problems. Isn’t waiting for them to come to me when they have a problem they can’t resolve just being passive? (It is.) So I have to take the initiative and go on the offensive. If they don’t come to me to seek on their problems, I take the initiative and go to them. I don’t hold gatherings to resolve problems in this way just for the leaders and workers; I do it for every team I hold gatherings for. I don’t just hold one gathering, resolve some problems, and then leave it at that. I frequently hold gatherings to resolve problems. For example, this past year, I have frequently held gatherings for the dance team to resolve their difficulties in choreography and dancing. Actually, I don’t know anything about dance, but God said that this work should be done to enrich the church life of God’s chosen people around the world. This is God’s commission, so even if I am not an expert, I must do this work well. So, I first fellowshipped with the dance team on the principles of choreography, what results should be achieved in dancing, which movements are appropriate to express different lyrics, and so on. After they choreographed the dances, I reviewed and corrected them. After a busy year of doing this, we have produced over a hundred dance videos and uploaded them online. Now, God’s house has started doing reporting work, reporting on the church life of God’s chosen people around the world and the facts of the great red dragon’s persecution of the church. This is work that we had never done before, so it has to be learned little by little right from scratch, which takes a lot of time and energy. I have to constantly hold gatherings to fellowship on the principles, and I have to say a lot. So, there are many difficulties in doing these types of work. There are many professional skills that we have not learned before, and we are starting from nothing and learning from scratch. Does this not require suffering and paying a price? Would it work if we were afraid of hardship and exhaustion? (No.) Also, we have God’s guidance in our work in God’s house, so we can overcome and resolve all our difficulties. Tell me, is it difficult for God’s house to make movies? Of course—there are many difficulties. But with God’s guidance, God’s house has produced one movie after another. The documentary The One Who Holds Sovereignty Over Everything, for example, was produced under God’s direct instruction. It was finally completed after half a year, and in less than two hours, the film presents how God has guided the historical progress of all mankind over several thousand years. The documentary shows people that God truly exists, and that the development of all mankind is truly being led by God, who holds sovereignty over it. Those who were not certain about God became completely certain after watching it. That’s why many people have said, “This documentary could be described as a textbook. We should get everyone in the world to watch it. Then people will be able to acknowledge that God exists and believe in Him earnestly.” Later, when this documentary was shown at a Christian film festival, so many film directors and producers praised it, saying, “This documentary is brilliant! It’s a God-given work. No one could have made it without the direction and leadership of God’s Spirit!” They were right. It was indeed produced under the direct instruction of the incarnate God, so it is absolutely correct to call it a God-given work. Several of the movies produced by God’s house were produced under God’s personal instruction, such as My Belated Testimony, My Pastor Husband and I, The Gospel of the Kingdom Reached Our Village, and Meeting the Lord During the Catastrophes. In the production of these films, God directly revised the scripts and oversaw the directors. A movie produced under God’s personal instruction is a God-given work—there’s no doubt about that! No one could produce such stunning films without God’s personal instruction. Therefore, if you truly want to contribute to the spread of the gospel of the kingdom and do some real work, you must rely on God. Once you can obtain the guidance of the Holy Spirit, no difficulty will be an issue. Another crucial aspect is that you have to put in even greater effort. And it’s not enough for you to put in the effort alone; you also have to cultivate and train a group of people who are sincere in their desire to expend themselves for God. If everyone works together with one heart and one mind, the task can be accomplished.
In the full-time duty church composed of Chinese people now, most people are basically able to suffer and pay a price in doing their duty, and they are generally able to be obedient and submissive. However, some are false leaders. All they do is speak words and doctrines to constrain people—they have been revealed and eliminated. So why were they eliminated? They have believed in God for at least ten years, yet they still act without principle. In their work, they always run amok however they like and refuse to accept the truth. Even after being pruned many times, they showed no change. Such people have been revealed, and God’s house must deal with them strictly and eliminate them directly. But in the churches of other countries, most people have believed in God for a short time and are still training themselves; the time has not yet come for them to be revealed and eliminated. If, after believing in God for seven, eight, or even ten or more years, you can still repeatedly violate the truth principles and run amok, then the time has come for you to be eliminated as well. Therefore, the leaders and workers in the churches around the world must now learn to discern those who consistently act according to their own will instead of the truth principles. Of these people, those who should be pruned must be pruned. Tell me, is it good for a leader to always be afraid of offending people and ruining a friendly atmosphere? (No.) Why not? (Because it comes at the cost of hindering the work of God’s house, and it is a manifestation of disloyalty to God.) If you, as a leader or worker, always live by satanic philosophies and safeguard your interpersonal relationships, then the results of your work will certainly be poor. You cannot follow God’s will. When antichrists, false leaders, evil people, and disbelievers appear in your jurisdiction and wantonly disturb the church, you don’t dare to handle them according to the principles and you don’t dare offend them. This hinders the life entry of God’s chosen people and means that the work that should be done in the church is not done, the gospel is not preached to the potential gospel recipients it should be preached to, and all the work of the church is disturbed and destroyed by antichrists and evil people. For all of this, you bear direct and undeniable responsibility. When you act as a people pleaser and offend no one, the result is that you end up giving offense to God and offending His disposition. Tell me, is acting this way worth it? (No.) Is this not a manifestation of foolishness and ignorance? (It is.) Being afraid of offending people is wrong in itself. Do you not know what consequences this will bring? Do you not know that this will affect the work of God’s house? You cannot see these things clearly, yet you stubbornly live by your feelings and satanic philosophies, acting as a people pleaser and not safeguarding the interests of God’s house. Is this not failing to practice the truth? (It is.) This is rebellion against God. If you do this, can you do your duty in a way that is up to standard? If you live entirely by satanic philosophies, you will never achieve any results or positive outcomes in your work. To be a leader or worker in this way is to greatly hinder the work of God’s house! There are a few such Chinese leaders and workers. They have been dismissed several times but have never changed. They always act as people pleasers, offending no one. Even when an antichrist is revealed, they do not expose them. They clearly know that the antichrist has done many things that seriously violate the truth principles and dismantle the work of the church, yet they do not expose them. They only expose some of the minor, insignificant things the antichrist has done. Tell me, are the satanic philosophies of such people serious? (They are.) These people often hold gatherings and preach to the brothers and sisters, speaking of all kinds of spiritual theories. But when an antichrist appears in their area of responsibility and disturbs the work of the church, they do not deal with it. When a false leader appears who does not do real work, they do not deal with it. And when various practices of disbelievers clinging to regulations keep appearing, they still turn a blind eye, as if they cannot see the problem. No matter what happens in the church that violates the truth principles, they do not restrict or deal with it. They do not resolve any problems for people, and they do not safeguard the work of God’s house in the slightest. As leaders, they only know how to be people pleasers, and in gatherings, they only know how to speak words and doctrines to show off, to make everyone see how spiritual they are and how much they understand the truth, so that everyone will worship them. Tell me, if they do not resolve any real problems and do nothing that involves offending people, are they people who follow God’s will? (No.) Then are you willing to be such a person? (No.) They are the same old Satans as ever. People who only speak spiritual doctrines but do not resolve a single real problem are just like the Pharisees, who only explained biblical theories but did no actual work. This is hypocrisy, a disguise, and deception, and it is misleading people! Therefore, they are hypocritical Pharisees. Then is it right to characterize such people as false leaders and dismiss them? (It is.) Now, God’s chosen people in every country must also learn to discern people. Generally, after a person has believed in God for three to five, or seven to eight years, it will be revealed what kind of person they are. Some antichrists, evil people, false leaders, and disbelievers are also gradually being revealed, so you must learn to discern them. But we must treat new believers correctly. If they do things that are not in line with the truth or that violate principles, we must help them with love, because their stature is small and they do not yet understand the truth. They are not deliberately violating the truth in their actions, so we should lovingly fellowship on the truth and help them. After they have believed in God for five or six years and have come to understand some truths, if they deliberately sin while knowing the truth, and deliberately violate the truth and run amok, then they should be pruned. If, after being pruned several times, they still do not repent, then as long as they do not cause disturbances, we can leave them be. If they do cause disturbances, they should be cleared out. Is it appropriate to handle them in this way? (It is.) There is a verse in the Bible: “For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins” (Hebrews 10:26). In the Age of Kingdom, those who have knowledge of the truth but sin willfully and refuse to change after repeated correction should be eliminated.
The questions have all been answered. Let’s end today’s fellowship here. Goodbye! (Goodbye, brother!)
