The Above’s Answers to the Questions of God’s Chosen People From Around the World (5)
Fellowship From the Brother Above – July 15, 2025 (Part One)
In today’s gathering, let’s first answer some questions regarding gospel preaching. How does that sound? (Good.)
I. Questions Regarding the Preaching of the Gospel
Question 1: When I’m communicating with potential gospel recipients, I feel that my way of speaking isn’t sincere enough. How can I speak more sincerely so that I can quickly build a rapport with them?
Answer: How to build a rapport with potential gospel recipients when preaching the gospel is indeed a problem. If you can’t build a rapport with them, then you can’t preach the gospel. Learning how to speak effectively is the key to building a rapport with potential gospel recipients. So, how should you speak? You have to resonate with them by speaking about the issues they are most concerned about. What do you think about this way of speaking? (It’s good.) But can you accurately grasp which issues they are most concerned about? This is something you should think about. The things that people who believe in the Lord are most concerned about are, “Now that the great catastrophes have come, when will the Lord return to receive me? How can I welcome the Lord? Can I welcome the Lord just by holding fast to His name and staying in my religion?” These are the issues people are most concerned about. Aren’t the issues people are most concerned about also the ones they worry about most? (Yes.) If you can point out the issues they worry about the most, will they be willing to fellowship with you? They certainly will. Therefore, when communicating with potential gospel recipients, you should talk more about the issues they are most concerned and worried about, and less about topics that are irrelevant. Otherwise, they will immediately get tired of you and distance themselves from you. People are very busy these days, and so they are only willing to talk to people who can understand their heart and solve the problems they are most concerned about. If what you say can’t resolve the issues they are most concerned and worried about, they will feel that your words are of no use to them and ignore you. Is this not how it is? (It is.) What if you know someone who believes in the Lord, but they are prejudiced against you, thinking your belief in Almighty God is wrong, and they ignore you when you try to speak with them? What should you do in that situation? You should say to them, “You’re prejudiced against me and think my faith is wrong, but is what you think actually true? Let me say a few things that will immediately help you understand why I believe in Almighty God. Are you willing to listen and understand the truth of the matter?” They are guaranteed to listen. Or you could say, “Today, I have something I’d like to talk with you about—how to welcome the Lord. I guarantee you’ll never regret listening, and you might even end up thanking me.” Upon hearing this, they’ll think, “Oh? You make it sound like I’ll end up thanking you? In that case, I’d better listen.” You see, words like these are crucial. You could also say, “I’m going to fellowship with you on a topic today. If you listen, you will be blessed. If you refuse, you will be left with eternal regrets.” How will they feel after hearing that? They’ll think, “Eternal regrets? If that’s true, I really must listen.” If you say such things to them, will they still refuse or reject you? (No.) They won’t. You’ve captured their heart in just a few words. It’s like a doctor meeting a patient who is prejudiced against them and doesn’t want to accept their treatment. How can the doctor speak in a way that captures the patient’s heart? The doctor must say, “I know your illness inside and out. If you don’t let me treat you, no one else is going to be able to, and you will regret it for the rest of your life!” What do you think of this? (Such words really hit home and capture a person’s heart.) These words are crucial, and the patient wouldn’t dare refuse, right? (Right.) So, what should you say to someone who blocks you as soon as they hear you testifying to Almighty God? You should say, “By blocking me today, you are blocking the true way! You will regret this. You will regret blocking me for the rest of your life!” What do you think of those words? (They’re good.) People who don’t seek the truth always view people and things based on their notions and imaginings, and as a result, they lose the opportunity to welcome the Lord’s coming, and they fall into darkness. When that time comes, regret will be futile, and there will be no turning back. Therefore, to welcome the Lord, one must have a God-fearing heart and not miss any opportunity. Some people do not love the truth. They see that God’s words are all truth, and that they are all about judging and exposing people, and so they don’t want to read them. They are only willing to listen to words that align with their own notions, and are content to just understand some doctrines. One day, when they have walked the path of an antichrist and are revealed and eliminated, they will reflect on how they never pursued the truth or properly read God’s words, and their hearts will be filled with remorse. They will think to themselves, “Oh, if only I had accepted the words of Almighty God and God’s judgment and chastisement sooner, I would have been able to know myself and I wouldn’t have walked the path of an antichrist! Oh, the regret!” You see, people who don’t read God’s words or pursue the truth will one day have regrets. There are also many people who, after being arrested by the CCP, signed the Three Statements and betrayed God. What do they regret most? “I betrayed God and have been revealed and eliminated. It’s all my fault for reading too few of Almighty God’s words and for not pursuing the truth. This is why I failed to follow God to the very end. If I had pursued the truth sooner, I would have had some faith and submission, and I wouldn’t have signed the Three Statements and betrayed God out of cowardice and fear of death under the persecution of the great red dragon.” What these people regret most is that by not pursuing the truth, they bring ruin upon themselves. This is the greatest regret a person can have in their life!
Many people become negative when they encounter some difficulty in their duty. They get disheartened when they face setbacks, suppression, or persecution, and they stop wanting to do their duty. How should these problems be resolved? (By pursuing the truth.) That’s the path. All problems must be resolved by pursuing the truth. If you have difficulties and problems but don’t seek the truth, what will the consequences of this be? You will become negative and weak, retreat, and even abandon your duty and betray God. Is this not the case? (It is.) You see, many of God’s chosen people have learned to seek the truth after believing in God for a few years. In every gathering I hold, they put forth many questions for me to answer. Is this not a wonderful thing to see? (It is.) People who can seek the truth will no longer be negative or weak. Seeking the truth can resolve all problems, and by seeking the truth, a person has hope of doing their duty in a way that is up to standard. There are so many benefits to seeking the truth. Some people’s life gradually matures by constantly seeking the truth. The more they believe, the more they understand the truth. The more they believe, the less of a corrupt disposition they have. The more they believe, the stronger their heart of submission to God becomes. The more they believe, the more knowledge of God they have. In the end, the more they believe, the more they love God in their hearts. You see, is this not how one attains salvation? (It is.) So what does attaining salvation depend on? It depends on the constant seeking of the truth. God is constantly expressing the truth to resolve our difficulties and problems. Therefore, as long as you pursue the truth, there are no problems that cannot be solved or hurdles you can’t get over. When all your problems are resolved, will your stature not have grown? (It will.) And what is the mark of your stature having grown? It’s that you understand the truth and have entered into the truth reality, and you have knowledge of God. This is the mark of your stature having grown. At this point, you will be able to follow God’s will in your duty, your difficulties will become fewer and fewer, all your problems will be resolved, and your performance of your duty will be up to standard. Some people see those with stature and say, “They’ve believed in God for so many years and are never negative. They never have any difficulties. How come we become negative as soon as we run into a little trouble? What’s going on?” Is there an answer to this question? (Yes.) Some people who can’t see this matter clearly say, “It’s because they are tenacious, unyielding, and can endure any problem!” Is that how it is? (No.) People who think this way simply don’t have any spiritual understanding. How much perseverance and tenacity can a person have? You could say that what little perseverance and tenacity people have is less than an ant’s, couldn’t you? (Yes.) But don’t look down on ants for their size, for they are among the most unyielding animals. They stay busy all day, from morning to night. Even when carrying something tens of times its size, an ant can tirelessly transport it back to its nest. Would you say its perseverance is great? (Yes.) So how is it that it has such great perseverance and tenacity? Why does it have this indomitable spirit? (It’s an instinct God created in it.) Let me ask you, do ants ever have moments of negativity or weakness? (No.) Don’t humans have more thoughts than ants? Why, then, are people still often negative and weak? Why do they become negative and slack off in their duty, or even stop doing it, when they encounter a little difficulty? Why is it that they betray God when they encounter a little difficulty? It is because man has been severely corrupted by Satan. Corrupt mankind is the descendant of Satan! So, do you now have any knowledge of the truth of mankind’s corruption? Do you acknowledge that mankind, corrupted to the core, is the descendant of Satan, and that what they live out is the image of Satan? Do you acknowledge this fact? (We do.) In essence, there’s no difference between corrupt mankind and Satan. Just as Satan resists God, so does corrupt mankind. Just as Satan does evil, so does corrupt mankind. So, tell me, is corrupt mankind the descendant of Satan? (It is.) So, if mankind does not cast off their corrupt dispositions, can they attain salvation? (No.) Can they achieve submission to God if they always live by its corrupt dispositions? (No.) What are the most obvious characteristics of people who cannot submit to God? They become negative, weak, and shrink back as soon as they encounter a little difficulty in their duty. Are these people who submit to God? (No.) But people are often arrogant and self-righteous, and even feel that their faith is quite good, that they’re capable of attaining salvation and that they belong to God. Is this not utterly lacking in reason? (It is.) Can someone who can’t even do their duty well shoulder God’s commission? (No.) And if they can’t shoulder God’s commission, are they someone who follows God’s will? (No.) Is someone who doesn’t follow God’s will qualified to enter the kingdom of heaven? (No.) Do you think it’s necessary to see through to this matter? (Yes.) It is indeed. This matter must be dissected in this way, and then your problems can be resolved. Tell me, what do I rely on in every gathering to resolve the questions raised by God’s chosen people? (The truth.) And what would be the consequences of these problems not being resolved? (Brothers and sisters would continue to wallow amidst their difficulties, which would not only affect the spread of the gospel work but also their personal life entry. Some might become negative and weak, and even betray God.) So, you simply must seek the truth to resolve problems. Someone might say, “I don’t need to seek the truth. Maybe my problems will eventually just resolve themselves.” Is that possible? (Problems can’t be resolved without seeking the truth.) It’s like how every day people have to wash their face because it gets dirty. They have to use soap or other cleansing products to get their face clean or else the dirt won’t come off on its own. You see, even the dirt on a person’s face is quite stubborn and can’t be removed without a little soap. So, isn’t a person’s corrupt disposition even more stubborn and harder to get rid of than the dirt on their face? (It is.) Therefore, to resolve a corrupt disposition, people must rely on reading God’s words every day, just as they must wash their faces every day. Only by reading God’s words and reflecting on oneself every day, and by seeking the truth, can a person resolve their various corrupt dispositions, negative states, and erroneous thoughts and views, and replace these negative things with the truth. In this way, people are renewed and transformed inside every day, their state of mind becomes more normal day by day, and they gradually cast off their corrupt dispositions and come to live by the words of God. When people live within the words of God, will they still have moments of negativity or weakness? (No.) Why not? (Because understanding the truth gives us a path and sets us free.) This is mainly because once people understand the truth, their internal corrupt dispositions are all resolved, and so naturally, they are no longer negative and weak. And without negativity and weakness, will there still be pain and tears? (No.) Such things will be no more. There will just be ease and liberation. Look at me, I’m happy every day. There are no difficulties that can trouble me, much less any unsolvable problems that can bind me. From my perspective, the difficulties in the church’s work are all easy to resolve, and people’s problems are also all easy to resolve. There isn’t a single problem that can’t be solved. So why is it that these problems are so easy for me to solve? (Because, brother, you understand the truth, and for you, solving any problem is easy.) That’s right. The most important thing is to understand the truth, God’s intentions, and God’s requirements. If you pursue the truth diligently, then in less than ten or twenty years, you too will be able to resolve all kinds of problems with ease. Do you understand? (Yes.)
